Abstract

Environmental pollution has become a crucial problem, necessitating efforts to address it. This assistance aims to train students in the making of ecoprints as an effort to introduce local potential and strengthen environmentally conscious character. The assistance was carried out on August 20, 2024, to 53 students at SD Negeri 1 Karanggayam, Kebumen Regency. The assistance phase was carried out in four steps: planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This assistance activity resulted in the finding that 100% of students have learned ecoprint techniques and were able to build environmental awareness among students.

Abstract

Penusupan Village is one of the villages located in Sruweng District, this village has various crafts and special foods. There are various businesses owned by Penusupan villagers. Many MSME actors in Penusupan Village do not yet have a production permit. As an effort to facilitate MSME actors, we held a socialization of NIB and Halal Certification, through the Online Single Submission (OSS) website in Penusupan Village. The purpose of this activity is to provide an understanding of the importance of official production permits. In addition, to accompany the creation to issuance of NIB. This socialization activity is carried out in three stages, namely; a) preparation, b) socialization, and c) mentoring. The results of this activity can issue three NIB directly on the spot. Then, continued mentoring and issuance of NIB outside the socialization activity. This activity has a positive impact on village MSME actors and supports the government's program to regulate administration for business actors.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there are 1.2 million babies born with stunting. For this reason, in early 2021, the Indonesian Government targeted the Stunting rate to decrease to 14% in 2024. Central Lombok Regency, stunting cases in 2021 were 20.81%. This number makes Central Lombok Regency in the 5th position for the areas with the most stunting sufferers in NTB Province. From the distribution of stunting sufferers in Central Lombok Regency, in East Praya District, the number of stunting sufferers in 2021 was recorded at 745 children or 14% of the total number of toddlers of 5,276 children. Of the 10 villages in East Praya District, the village with the most stunting sufferers is Marong Village with 145 children out of 390 toddlers or 37%. The purpose of this PKM is to provide counseling and assistance to increase the insight and awareness of the people of Marong Village, Praya District, Central Lombok Regency in preventing and preventing stunting sufferers. The results achieved in this PKM are that participants' knowledge about handling and preventing stunting has increased. Where from the pre-test results with a very good level of knowledge reaching 53%, a good level of knowledge of 27% and a poor level of knowledge decreased to 20%.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian untuk menguatkan pedidikan karakter melalui permainan edukatif di PAUD Arfah BHMS, Desa Aikmual, Kec. Praya, Kab. Lombok Tengah. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan oleh tim dalam rangka melaksakan kegiatan ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Survey, (2) Pemantapan dan penentuan lokasi dan sasaran, (3) Pembelian bahan permainan edukasi, (4) pelaksanaan pendampingan penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui permainan edukatif. Penguatan pendidikan karakter untuk anak PAUD dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan permainan edukasi. Ketika permainan itu digunakan dengan tepat dan dalam pengawasan guru maupun orang tua dapat ditanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca dan peduli lingkungan

Abstract

Mendongeng merupakan kegiatan bercerita dan dapat dilakukan oleh siapapun. Kegiatan ini sangat disenangi oleh anak usia dini. Tahapan akhir pada mata kuliah mendongeng ini praktik di lembaga TK/RA/PAUD dengan peserta didik anak usia dini. Kegiatan mendongeng dalam bentuk roadshow ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektifitas dalam segi pelaksanaannya. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan oleh sembilan belas mahasiswa PIAUD yang mengambil mata kulaih mendongeng. Tahap pelaksanaan dalam rentang waktu lima hari dengan tempat yang berbeda-beda. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan efektif, namun ada beberapa kendala seperti penonton yang cepat bosan disebabkan faktor pada tahapan perkembangannya. Dongeng yang dibawakan oleh mahasiswa PIAUD berupa hasil karya buku cerita yang dibuat secara berkelompok. Kegiatan ini direkomandasikan untuk dilaksanakan pada mata kuliah mendongeng di semster berikutnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide skills to physics teachers at the Pontianak City Physics MGMP to develop practical-based learning and STEM Phase F applications. The method of implementing PKM is training and mentoring. The stages of implementing PKM consist of stage 1) preparation; stage 2) socialization which includes activities of resource person presentation, discussion, and question and answer; and stage 3) implementation and mentoring, which includes activities; and 4) monitoring and evaluation. This activity succeeded in increasing teachers' insight and skills about the implementation of STEM Phase F in practical-based learning activities. In addition, teachers' skills in compiling STEM-based learning devices also increased. This program succeeded in introducing the application of STEM in practical-based Physics learning in the Lab. The positive response of participants showed motivation to apply STEM and partnerships between universities and schools as the first step to creating an innovative and sustainable learning environment. Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and outcomes of mentoring students in improving their ability to read the Qur’an through the Iqro method at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Islah Karangrejo. The background of this activity stems from the fact that many students still struggle with Qur’anic reading skills, particularly in terms of fluency, articulation of letters (makhraj), vowel length (mad), and the application of basic tajwid rules. The method applied was Participatory Action Research (PAR), consisting of diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 70 students of Madrasah Diniyah Al-Islah Karangrejo, with the mentoring program conducted over one month using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show a significant improvement in the students’ Qur’anic reading skills. In the pre-mentoring stage, only 21% (15 out of 70 students) could read fluently. After the first cycle, the percentage increased to 50% (35 students), and by the second cycle, it reached 82% (58 students). This improvement indicates that the Iqro method, supported by the sorogan approach and repeated practice, effectively corrected reading errors, enhanced understanding of basic tajwid, and fostered students’ confidence in reading before teachers and peers. In conclusion, mentoring using the Iqro method proved effective in gradually and measurably improving students’ Qur’anic reading skills. Beyond technical ability, the program also nurtured students’ motivation, discipline, and love for the Qur’an. Therefore, similar mentoring programs may serve as an inspirational model for other Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

The lack of competence among Physical Education (PE) teachers in Central Lombok Regency in applying sports massage, as well as the limited use of manipulation techniques in sports learning, has become an obstacle to the development of students’ physical skills and well-being. This community service program aims to improve PE teachers’ understanding and skills in sports massage through comprehensive training. The methods used in this activity are lecture and demonstration/practice methods. The activity was attended by 25 junior high school PE teachers from East Kutai Regency. Evaluation results showed that 92.8% of participants had mastered the sports massage material, while 86.3% were able to apply the techniques effectively. It is expected that this training will enhance the competence of PE teachers in integrating sports massage into sports learning, thereby having a positive impact on physical recovery, athletic performance, and student well-being at the Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Ujan Rintis, Central Lombok Regency.

Abstract

The implementation of the Book Stall Program at SMKN 1 Kotaraja was driven by the low reading interest among students, reflected in the limited use of the school library and minimal participation in literacy activities. This condition indicated the need for a literacy strategy that is accessible, appealing, and integrated into students’ daily routines. Through a teaching assistance approach, the program was designed to create an open literacy space that allows students to interact freely with various reading materials. The method was carried out twice a week in the school’s outdoor area, using mentoring, interpersonal communication, and direct observation to capture students’ levels of engagement. The findings indicate a clear increase in students’ reading interest, as shown by their spontaneous visits to the book stall, willingness to browse and read books, active discussions about the content, and repeated participation in subsequent sessions. Students also demonstrated greater confidence in expressing their understanding and showed improvement in communicative and reflective literacy behaviors. These results highlight that open reading spaces, consistent exposure to books, and supportive mentoring can effectively stimulate students’ interest in reading. Therefore, the Book Stall Program supported by teaching assistance contributes positively to fostering a sustainable literacy culture in SMKN 1 Kotaraja.

Abstract

Desa Koaraja dikenal dengan adat istiadatnya yang masih dijaga dengan sangat baik oleh para leluhur dan masyarakatnya. Salah satu budaya yang masih ada yaitu upacara betetulak (Tolak Bala) dan persembahan adat di dusun Marang utara dan Marang Selatan, Desa Kotaraja, bukan sekedar ritual semata, melainkan sebuah ekspresi budaya yang kompleks dan multifungsi. Secara mendasar, upacara ini berfungsi sebagai sarana komunikasi religius dengan kekuatan supranatural untuk memohon perlindungan dari segala bentuk bala dan malapetaka. Nilai-nilai spiritual ini terwujud dalam persembahan adat atau sesajen, yang setiap komponennya mengandung makna simbolis dan filosofis yang mendalam mereperesentasikan hubungan harmonis antara manusia, alam dan leluhur. Selain aspek religiusnya, upacara betetulak memiliki peran sosial dan budaya yang sangat penting. Ritual ini berfungsi sebagai perekat komunitas sosial yang memperkuat rasa kebersamaan, sekaligus menjadi sarana untuk melestarikan dan menunjukkan jati diri masyarakat Marang. Betetulaq (Tolak Bala) adalah upacara adat/keagamaan untuk memohon perlindungan dari bencana, penyakit, dan malapetaka yang berlangsung dalam jangka panjang. Ritual ini menggabungkan unsur adat dan agama (doa bersama, pembacaan kitab suci, pengeluaran pusaka, dan prosesi adat). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, karena objek kajian berupa praktik budaya dan kepercayaan religius masyarakat, yang tidak dapat diukur secara statistik, melainkan perlu dipahami secara mendalam, kontekstual, dan holistik. Upacara Betetulak atau Tolak Bala dan persembahan adat mengandung makna simbolik, nilai spiritual, serta keyakinan kolektif masyarakat Dusun Marang Kotaraja yang hanya dapat diungkap melalui pendekatan kualitatif.
