Abstract

This research examines the development of a media entitled "Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki" with the aim of improving the mathematical problem-solving abilities of 2nd grade elementary school students. This media is designed with an interactive approach to address issues in mathematics education for students with low problem-solving abilities. This research uses Research and Development research with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluating) development model. The research subjects were the Tingkir Lor 02 Salatiga State Elementary School, the research samples were 2nd grade elementary school students. Validation results from subject matter experts, media experts, and learning experts indicate very high levels of validity, with scores reaching 91.6%, 93.3%, and 75%, respectively with very high category. Media practicality received a percentage of 88% in the very high category from student responses and 92.5% in the very high category from teacher responses. The implementation of the "Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki" in education is effective, as evidenced by the improvement in post-test scores for second-grade students. Statistical analysis shows significant results (Sig. [2-tailed] = 0.000 < 0.05), indicating an enhancement in mathematical problem-solving abilities following the use of the developed media. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that "Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki" is a suitable tool for mathematics education and is effective in enh ancing the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students. indicating an enhancement in mathematical problem-solving abilities following the use of the developed media. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with the method used is a data collection technique consisting of: literature study This research uses literature research methods. By collecting literature data, reading, and recording and processing research materials. Researchers deal directly with existing texts or data and do not conduct field research. In compiling articles, researchers use library data from various sources such as books, journals, articles, official websites, and other internet sources in the form of main material about Quarter Life Crisis is caused by 2 (two) causative factors, namely: (1). Factors from within, (2). Factors from outside oneself. Self-preparation is very important to avoid the acute Quarter life crisis, namely by equipping yourself with soft skills for skill development in yourself and always positioning yourself in a positive environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the differences and effectiveness results of using the Concept Centence and Think Talk Write cooperative learning models in order to develop descriptive text writing skills. The type of research used in this research is quasi-experimental or known as quasi-experimental research. Samples taken from elementary schools in Bancak District, Semarang Regency were SDN Jlumpang and SDN Pucung. The sampling technique in this research used a purposive sampling technique. The dependent variable in this research is descriptive text writing skills. The technique used in this research is using tests. Statistical analysis tests used for this research include normality tests, homogeneity tests with t-tests or mean difference tests. The results of this research are that there are differences in the Concept Centence and Think Talk Write learning models regarding descriptive text writing skills. The difference in the average pretest and posttest scores for experimental class 1 is 23,34. While for experimental class 2 it is 19,12. The t-test results show the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,020 < 0,05, so that Concept Sentence learning has significantly superior effectiveness on the descriptive text writing skills of 5th students in Bancak District.

The population of this study were students of junior high schools in Parepare. The sample in this study is one of the beneficiaries of the teaching campus program, namely SMP AL Badar, Parepare using the Purposive Sampling technique. The research data was obtained using an instrument in the form of an essay test consisting of 3 questions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical data analysis and inferential statistical data analysis. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis of the pretest results showed that the average mathematical literacy ability for the experimental group was 52.50 and the control group was 53.15. After receiving the benefits of the teaching campus program for the experimental group, the average score for students' mathematical literacy was 73.62 and that of the control class was 66.38. The results of inferential statistical analysis based on the independent sample test show that the sig. 0.785 > α. So H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of the campus teaching program on students' mathematical literacy skills in Parepare.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the problems faced by non-English speaking students in speaking skills in English at the College of Medical Technology, Derna, Libya. The research methodology used includes surveys and interviews with a representative sample of students. The research findings indicate that there are several problems faced by students regarding speaking skills in English, which encompass linguistic and non-linguistic issues. In terms of linguistic issues, many students feel a lack of vocabulary mastery, inaccurate pronunciation, and grammar. In terms of non-linguistic issues, problems related to low motivation, habits, and mother tongue were found. Therefore, this research highlights the challenges faced by non-English speaking students in developing their speaking skills in English. These challenges include linguistic issues such as vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar, as well as non-linguistic issues such as motivation, habits, and the influence of the mother tongue. By addressing these challenges, appropriate interventions can be implemented to improve the speaking skills of non-English speaking students at the College of Medical Technology, Derna, Libya. One effective way to improve speaking skills in English is by regularly practicing speaking with others. This can be done by finding friends or English learning groups to actively discuss, debate, or engage in dialogue in English. Additionally, watching English movies or TV shows with subtitles and then attempting to repeat or mimic the dialogue is also a good way to practice pronunciation and expand vocabulary.
