It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

Damar Kurung adalah lampion kayu berbentuk segi empat dengan sudut menyerupai segi tiga di bagian atasnya dan keempat sisinya berhiaskan lukisan. Merupakan akulturasi budaya Jawa, Thionghoa, Arab.. Pembuat Damar Kurung terakhir di Gresik adalah Sriwati Masmundari (Januari 1904 – 25 Desember 2005). Damar kurung pernah diambang kepunahan, namun Tahun 2017 oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan ditetapkan sebagai warisan budaya tak benda (WBTB). Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui estetika kerajinan Damar Kurung dari segi fungsi. Keterkaitan antara seni tradisi dengan tradisi lain sehingga dapat tetap eksis.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian multidisiplin dengan pendekatan antropologi dan budaya. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Wawancara, 10 sample narasumber masyarakat Gresik, Budayawan komunitas Mata Segar dan 2 Guru di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Petrokimia Gresik dan Taman Kanak-Kanak Insanuz- Ziyan..Teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, mengolah data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validasi data dengan ketekunan pengamatan dan triangulasi data. Hasil yang didapatkan fungsi awal Damar Kurung adalah sebagai penerang/ lampu, dengan adanya perkembangan zaman maka muncul fungsi lain. Fungsi tersebut: (1) Damar kurung sebagai Ikon Kabupaten Gresik, (2) Damar kurung sebagai fungsi estetik, (3) Kerajinan Damar Kurung Sebagai Identitas Masyarakat Kabupaten Gresik, (4) Damar kurung sebagai fungsi Informasi,(5) Damar kurung sebagai muatan lokal dalam dunia pendidikan. Kata Kunci: Damar kurung, Estetika fungsi, Ikon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Tambak. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, motivasi siswa, dan iklim sekolah secara keseluruhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan staf sekolah. Selain itu, observasi dan studi dokumentasi juga dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data yang komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang efektif sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Kepala sekolah yang memiliki visi yang jelas dan komitmen yang tinggi terhadap pendidikan mampu memotivasi guru dan siswa untuk mencapai prestasi yang lebih baik. Selain itu, kepala sekolah yang mampu menciptakan iklim sekolah yang kondusif dan mendukung pembelajaran juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Dalam konteks ini, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah mencakup kemampuan dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia, mengembangkan program pembelajaran yang inovatif, dan membangun hubungan yang baik dengan semua stakeholder sekolah. Selain itu, kepala sekolah juga harus mampu menghadapi tantangan dalam dunia pendidikan dan merumuskan strategi yang efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi kepala sekolah, guru, dan pihak terkait dalam mengembangkan kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pelatihan dan pengembangan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah serta pentingnya dukungan dari pihak terkait dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemikiran Immanuel kant tentang etika. Banyak para filsuf yang membahas soal etik. Etik sebagai sesuatu yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam kehidupan manusia, salah satunya yaitu Etik Immanuel Kant. Etika Kant merupakan etika kewajiban yang tidak menuntut adanya kebahagian atau faktor-faktor yang datang dari luar. Etika Immanuel Kant berlandaskan kepada kehendak baik. Etika ini menilai suatu tindakan baik berdasarkan kepada kehendak baik atau keinginan baik. Berbeda dengan filosof Barat lainnya, tujuan atau konsekuensi bukanlah penilaian terhadap baik buruknya suatu perbuatan. Kehendak baik yang berdasarkan kewajiban sebagai penentu tindakan yang bermoral. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), yaitu mengumpulkan buku-buku, artikel, dan dokumen yang mengkaji tentang penelitian yang dibahas oleh peneliti. Pemikiran Immanuel kant tentang etika deontologi sangat menekankan motivasi, kemauan baik dan watak yang kuat dari perilaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran Immanuel Kant khususnya etika bersifat analitis dan tajam. Sistem etika Immanuel Kant berkisar pada soal kewajiban atau etika deontologi. Deontologi merupakan pemikiran etis yang menyatakan baik buruknya tindakan tidak diukur dari akibat yang ditimbulkan tetapi berdasar kepada sifat tertentu dari hasil yang dicapainya. Relevansinya terhadap pendidikan Islam dengan pendidikan islam diatas agar manusia bertaqwa dan mendapatkan kehidupan bahagia dunia dan akhirat dalam hal ini taqwa yang dimaksud adalah kewajiban bagi manusia untuk menjalankan segala perintah Allah dan menjahui segala larangannya.

Abstract

Blended learning has been emerging as one of the most popular learning methods used Post Covid -19. Blended learning is the learning process that integrates face-to-face learning and online learning. This article aims to investigate the dynamic relationship between blended learning and students' learning motivation and achievement in English language subject. The participants were 150 11th grade students from two junior high schools in Polman district who had experienced in using blended learning. This study used mixed methods by employing two research tools, namely questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The research findings suggest a highly positive relationship between blended learning and student learning motivation and learning achievement. some key factors within blended learning environments that contribute to enhancing their motivation. These factors include the flexibility and adaptability of blended learning designs. The study results also showed the dynamic relationship between students’ learning motivation and their engagement and achievement in learning. The study results contribute to the dissemination of information to educational stakeholders and academic forums for teachers as input of considering the implementation of blended learning an instruction fit in the current educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine phonological errors in reading Arabic texts for fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Penggung. This research was conducted because there are still many errors found when reading Arabic, therefore researchers want to analyse phonological errors in consonants and vowels to evaluate and find solutions so that no more errors occur when reading Arabic texts. Arabic is very important to learn because it is part of the language of the Quran, so if errors continue to occur, it will result in errors in interpretation. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The method used in this research is a case study. case study. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Penggung located in Kulon Progo with a total of 9 students. 9 students. The sampling technique used saturated sampling technique. where in the end the entire population was used as a sample. So, the sample in this study was 9 students. this study was 9 students. Then the data collection technique uses test and observation techniques. documentation techniques. observation techniques. The results of this study showed that phonological errors were found when fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Penggung read Arabic texts. The errors are found in consonants and vowels. For errors in consonants, 16 errors were found. Then 19 errors were found in vowel errors.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students in the subject of Social Science. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design method, involving both a control group (lecture-based teaching model) and an experimental group (TGT cooperative learning model). The research yielded results indicating that there was no significant influence of the conventional learning model on learning outcomes, as evidenced by the asymptotic significance (2-tailed) value of 0.053 which means that is higher than 0.05. Furthermore, the study demonstrated a significant influence of the TGT learning model with an asymptotic significance (2-tailed) value of 0.000 which is lower than 0.05. The research findings indicate that the TGT model has a significantly greater impact on students’ social science learning outcomes compared to the conventional learning model, with an effect size of 0.368, which falls into the medium category

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of the discovery learning teaching model on the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students in the subject of Social Studies. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving both a control group (lecture-based teaching model) and an experimental group (discovery learning model). The research yielded results that indicated no significant influence of the lecture-based learning model on learning outcomes, as evidenced by the paired sample t-test with a two-tailed significance value of 8.728, which is higher than 0.05. Furthermore, the study demonstrated a significant influence of the discovery learning teaching model on students' learning outcomes, as confirmed by the Wilcoxon test, which showed a two-tailed significance value of 0.016, lower than 0.05. This research finding also indicated a significant impact of the discovery Learning teaching model on learning outcomes, with an effect size of 0.977, categorizing it as a medium effect

Abstract

A family that lives side by side with an abundance of love from each member can be used as a picture of a harmonious family. Many people define a harmonious family as happiness that every human dreams of. The presence of a harmonious family certainly creates positive behavior and character of family members. In this regard, the social patterns that teenagers have are largely influenced by factors such as the atmosphere within the family. The purpose of writing this article is to discuss how family harmony plays a role in forming adolescent social patterns. The method used is a literature study that raises a topic similar to the discussion in this article. The findings obtained are in the form of influences on teenagers’ relationships that arise when the family is in a state of harmony and disharmony.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of artificial intelligence-based discovery learning models on students' creative thinking skills. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. The data source comes from the analysis of 12 national and international journals. Search for data sources via Google Scholar, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, and Plos ONE. Inclusion criteria in this research are published articles from national and international journals indexed by SINTA and Scopus. The research was published from 2016-2023. The research has an experimental class with a discovery learning model and a control class with a conventional model. The research has a sample size of > 20 students. The research results concluded that the summary effect size or mean effect size value was 0.851 , a high criterion. These findings show that the artificial intelligence-based discovery learning model has an influence on students' creative thinking skills.
