Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kualitas guru meliputi: Kualitas guru; Disiplin guru; dan Tanggung jawab guru dengan menerapkan pola komunikasi kepala madrasah yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ialah guru-guru, kepala, dan komite madrasah di MIN Padang Bulan Rantauprapat. Hasil penelitian ditemukan: Komunikasi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kualitas guru yaitu menyampaikan pesan kepada guru baik secara cara lisan (memanggil dan teguran langsung) maupun secara tulisan (surat peringatan); Komunikasi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan disiplin guru yaitu memberikan contoh teladan dengan hadir ke madrasah tepat waktu dan pulang paling akhir; dan Komunikasi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab guru yaitu komunikasi antar pribadi dan komunikasi dalam memecahkan masalah di dalam pembelajaran dengan cara mengkoordinasi dan mencari solusi dengan komite dan pengawas madrasah, serta Dinas Pendidikan terkait. Diharapkan kepada komite dan kepala madrasah agar dapat memberikan dorongan dan pembinaan dalam kualitas guru tentang profesional, kedisiplinan dan tanggungjawab guru secara efektif dan efesien sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas guru di madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SD 013 Kumantan for the 2022/2023 academic year, which consists of 10 students. The research method is centered on Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two learning cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four learning stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. When the research was carried out in August 2022. Data collection techniques were in the form of documentation, observation and tests. The results of the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 013 Kumantan in pre-action with a learning completeness percentage of 30%. In the first cycle the first meeting with a learning completeness percentage of 30% and in the first cycle the second meeting experienced an increase with a learning completeness percentage of 40%. In the second cycle, the first meeting also increased with a learning mastery percentage of 60%, and in the second cycle, the second meeting experienced another increase with a 90% learning completeness percentage. Thus it can be concluded that the application of The Power Of Two learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 013 Kumantan. Abstract

This study aims to improve students' listening skills through the cooperative script model for fifth grade students at SDN 008 Langgini in the 2022/2023 academic year. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. This research consisted of 2 cycles and each cycle was conducted in 2 meetings. The object of research is students' listening skills. Data analysis techniques were carried out in qualitative and quantitative descriptions. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle lasting 2 meetings. The results showed that students' listening skills improved after the action was taken. The results showed that the use of the cooperative script model could improve the listening skills of fifth grade students at SDN 008 Langgini. This is indicated by an increase in the number of students who achieve the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and an increase in class and classical average scores. average value and percentage of classical completeness cycle I meeting I 40%, in cycle I meeting II 53.33 % and cycle II meeting I 80% in cycle II meeting II 93.33 % Keywords: Cooperative Script Learning Model, Listening Skills, and Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to improve reading aloud skills using the cooperative script learning model assisted by comic media in elementary schools. The method used is a class action research method with cycle I and cycle II. The research subjects were class III students at SDN 001 Simalinyang, which consisted of 20 students. Research begins with planning, action, observation, and reflection . Data collection techniques were carried out by tests, observations and documentation. The test is given based on indicators of accuracy of pronunciation (punctuation) in reading, accuracy of pronunciation in reading writing, accuracy of intonation in reading writing, fluency in reading writing, and loudness of voice. The results of the analysis showed that the increase in pre-cycle reading aloud skills was 8 students (40%). After being given action in cycle I there was an increase in the number of students' completeness to 12 students (60%). After being given action in cycle II, there was another increase in the number of completeness to 20 students (100%). In conclusion, the use of the cooperative script learning model assisted by comic media can improve students' reading skills in elementary schools. Abstract

This study discusses the effect of online games on junior high school students in Tanjung Morawa sub-district, Deli Serdang district. The influence of online games can cause physical, mental and mental damage to junior high school students in general. In addition, changes in the behavior of students who are addicted to online games are not felt, but can be felt by people in the environment, especially parents. Children's social personality can be felt by people in the environment, especially parents. This study used qualitative research, the object of research was students aged 14-16 years in junior high school in Bandar Labuhan Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. This data is interviewed and the reality at school. The analysis includes research results and conclusions. This research proves that online game addiction can affect the personality of junior high school students, namely aggressive traits and attitudes, competition between friends, disputes/quarrels between friends, cooperative attitude, egotistical, he will focus on the game and not think about the environment around him.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out teachers’ and students’ perceptions toward using Google form as test media in SMAN 5 SIDRAP. This research used descriptive quantitative, the researcher collected the data by using a questionnaire, the total sample was 3 English teachers and 133 students of SMAN 5 SIDRAP, determined by using purposive sampling. The results showed that (1) Overall the results of the teacher's response showed that 87% of the teacher's responses were in the easy category. On the preparation, implementation, and evaluation indicators, all items fall into the easy and neutral category. Most teachers have a positive perception of the use of the Google form as an English language test media. (2) The results of the overall student responses to the 15 items show that 71% of student responses are in the easy category. In the preparation, implementation, and evaluation indicators, most students positively respond to the use of Google form as an English language test media.

Abstract

Abstract The factual condition illustrates that the condition of the Indonesian people is increasingly critical. This incident was triggered by various unresolved social problems. Social problems are a scourge of shared homework, especially teachers and the community. A multicultural approach integrated with Social Sciences (IPS). Educational learning offers an alternative through the application of diversity-based educational strategies and concepts in the Community. This paper aims to describe theoretically how to integrate multicultural approaches and social studies. So, the portion of multicultural education and social studies is able to equip students with sensitivity in dealing with social symptoms and problems that are rooted in differences. These differences such as ethnicity, race, religion, and values ​​that occur in the community environment for the cultivation of unity. Therefore, this substance and learning model will be able to focus learning on appreciating cultural diversity in the 21st century era. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the role of school committees on the implementation of school-based management (SBM) in private elementary schools in Pemalang district. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, namely research with quantitative data which is then processed and analyzed for conclusions. The first step before the research is taken is to conduct a theoretical study, then the following stages are carried out; first, compiling research instruments, secondly testing the validity and reliability of instruments, thirdly the process of data retrieval, fourth tabulation of data, data processing and interpretation of data, fifth drawing conclusions. The results showed that; first, The role of the school committee as a judge, supporter, mediator and controller of the implementation of SBM obtained a minimum score of 69 and a maximum score of 202 with a score range of 133. The data can be described as saying that out of 100 respondents who stated that the role of the school committee was good, 13 people were equivalent to 13%, stated that 37 people played a good role. 37%, stated that 39 people played a role equivalent to 3 9% stated that they played less role as many as 9 people equivalent to 9% and respondents who stated that they did not play a role as many as 2 people were equivalent to 2%. With a mean value of 149.27 and a mode value of 162, the value is included in the interval class 150 – 176 in the good/high category. The conclusion of this study is that the level of SBM implementation in Pemalang District Private Primary School is influenced by the level of role of the school committee. The higher the role of the school committee, the more the implementation of SBM will increase. Similarly, if the role of the school committee is low or lacks a role, then the level of implementation of SBM will also decrease.

Abstract

This article aims to describe one of the innovations in the field of curriculum, namely the independent curriculum which is the policy of independent learning episode fifteenth episode. The method used by the author is library research on various studies related to the independent curriculum. This curriculum is applied as a form of government response in this case kememdikbudristek to pandemic conditions that result in loss learning conditions or as a recovery curriculum. The strategy for implementing the independent curriculum implemented by the government is not carried out in a masiv basis, but is adjusted to the readiness and conditions of each educational unit. In the 2022/2023 school year, the Government provides options for all educational units in implementing the curriculum, namely the independent curriculum, the emergency /simplified curriculum or the 2013 curriculum. The target of piloting this independent curriculum is as many as 2500 driving schools spread across 34 provinces. Limited tests conducted on driving schools aim to get feedback as curriculum improvement material. The results obtained include showing that schools flexibly and creatively can be given the flexibility to design and carry out learning in accordance with students' abilities. This curriculum change will be successful if supported by changes in the mindset of educators and education personnel and other educational stakeholders.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process of students who are less enthusiastic in learning, the objectives of this research are as follows: 1). To know the reality of PAI teacher's personality, 2). To know the reality of students' learning motivation and 3). To determine the effect of the independent variable (personality competence) of PAI teachers on the dependent variable (learning motivation) of students, this study used a quantitative approach and took the form of a survey. The sample used was class X students majoring in visual communication design at SMKN 14 Bandung with a total population of 101 students. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used classical assumption test, normality test, linearity test and heteroscedasticity test. Meanwhile, hypothesis testing uses simple regression analysis and is strengthened by the coefficient of determination. The results showed that 1). The Reality of the personality competence of Islamic education teachers on average (mean) for each indicator data obtained a mean value of > 4.00 or was in the interval of 4.00-5.00 which means very good. 2). The reality of student learning motivation on average (mean) data for each indicator is obtained a mean value of > 3.00 or is in the interval of 3.00-4.00 which means it is good. 3). The significance of the coefficients table is 0.008 < 0.05, which means that the independent variable has a significant effect on the dependent variable.
