Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to choose, arrange words, and express ideas in writing, especially writing poetry. One solution to overcome this problem is to use a round table cooperative learning model . The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation and improvement of free poetry writing skills using the round table cooperative model in elementary schools. This research method is a classroom action research carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 14 grade IV students, 7 boys and 7 girls. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation and tests. The results of this study can be concluded that the pre-cycle obtained an average class value of 57.4 with classical completeness of 42.85%, increased in cycle 1 meeting 1 to 59.28 with classical completeness of 50%, increased in cycle 1 meeting 2 to 67.5 with a classical completeness of 64.28%. The class average score in cycle 2 meeting 1 was 71.78 with classical completeness of 71.42% and increased in cycle 2 meeting 2 which was 77.14 with classical completeness of 85.71%. Thus it can be concluded that by using the round table type of cooperative learning model can improve the skills of free poetry writing class IV SDN 004 Bangkinang Kota. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the description of Social Studies lesson content by applying the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model for Class V students; description of social studies learning outcomes with the application of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model for Class V students; and the effect of the application of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model on character formation based on local wisdom values ​​(Mattabe) and social studies learning outcomes for Class V students. This type of research is quantitative, descriptive inferential in this study given certain treatment, namely control class and experimental class. The sample in this study is part of the population with the sampling technique is random sampling. The data collection method used is a character building questionnaire based on local wisdom values ​​(mattabe) and a multiple choice test for student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is the first by using a descriptive statistical approach, prerequisite test, and Manova hypothesis testing. The results of the study, test the hypothesis using manova, with a sig value. is 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, that is, there is a significant effect on the application of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model to Character Building based on local wisdom values ​​(Mattabe) and social studies learning outcomes for Class V students

Abstract

An article that departs from ideas in analyzing modernization in the context of education, especially in Islamic education in Indonesia. This research was assisted by library research methods (library research). In obtaining research data, researchers collect, analyze, and organize, sources from articles. The research results show that Islamic philosophy developed until new religious concepts emerged in the Muslim world. Because of how these ideas developed, it is clear how the social, political, and cultural life of Muslims was significantly influenced by their movement patterns and world views. Religious education and beliefs influence the way people act and think. The Syafi'i school of thought dominates the religious worldview of Muslims who are developing in Indonesia. Indonesian Muslims in general still adhere to the texts of the mujtahid school of thought (the quality school), and they have not received methodological education (the school), which means they advocate law according to the mujtahid mindset, which has been produced by the school's imam.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the level of cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities of students in learning accounting material as an information system by class XI students of Christian Private Vocational Schools BNKP Gunungsitoli. This type of research is research. The type of data used is a type of quantitative data and the data is obtained by carrying out learning achievement tests on students. The sample in this study were 21 students of class XI at Christian Private Vocational School BNKP Gunungsitoli. To determine the level of affective and psychomotor abilities used observation tables. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that overall students' cognitive abilities in accounting material as an information system were classified as Good material mastery category (71.83%) with a low level of difficulty (28.17%). The level of students' affective abilities is categorized as Good with a score of (74) while the level of students' psychomotor abilities is categorized as skilled with an acquisition of a score (72).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers in increasing the social interaction of children with special needs in SLB Negeri Gunungsitoli. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The technique of determining the research subject is by using a purposive sampling technique. The research informants comprised 2 people, namely the Principal of the Gunungsitoli State SLB and 1 Gunungsitoli State SLB teacher. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification and confirmation of conclusions. This study uses the triangulation method to obtain a technique for measuring the validity of the data. It was concluded that the Gunungsitoli State Special School (SLB) presence was very meaningful, especially for Children with Special Needs (ABK), especially regarding social interaction with peers in their learning environment and the community. Teachers must carry out persuasive strategies, and spiritual and humanist approaches, both between teachers and students and between students. Social interaction between students can be well established, active communication is established, and the creation of a spiritual relationship that continues to grow and develop.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' ability to study the structure of persuasion texts using the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model. The subjects of this study were 25 students of class VIII-A of SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara, totaling 25 students, 8 male students and 17 female students. This study uses a Classroom Action Research model with the implementation procedures of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research activity was carried out in two cycles using data collection techniques, observation sheets, and assessment sheets. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in the ability of students to study the structure of persuasion texts using the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model. It can be seen in the results of the first cycle that the lowest value is 43.75, and the highest is 75, with an average value of 57.25. In contrast, the second cycle obtained the lowest value of 56.25 and the highest of 93.75. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model can improve students' ability to study the structure of persuasion texts for class VIII-A students of SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara.

Abstract

This type of research is a Quasi Experimental Design with the research design that will be used is the nonequivalent Control Group Design, in this study a certain treatment is given, namely the control class and the experimental class. The number of samples in this study were 58 students. The data collection method used is the activity of learning to read the beginning of grade I students and writing skills tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the first by using a descriptive statistical approach, inferential statistics and manova hypothesis testing. The results showed that: 1) the activities of students in the experimental class using the VAKT method with a total score of 52 divided by the total score multiplied by one hundred with a total result of 81.25. From these results it can be concluded that the VAKT method can affect the ability to read at the beginning of class I; 2) the statistical test of the experimental class is 83.59 and getting a good classification score, it can be concluded that the use of the VAKT method can affect the initial writing skills of first grade students; and 3) test the Manova hypothesis with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the VAKT method on students' reading and writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student interest in learning at SMKN 1 Tirtajaya Karawang. The approach used in this research is quantitative, with a survey method and research design using cross-sectional. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMKN 1 Tirtajaya Karawang, totaling 155 students. At the same time, the sample was taken in one class using a purposive sampling technique, obtained in class XI TKR 1 with as many as 40 students as the class that will be given a questionnaire about students' interest in learning. The data is processed using Microsoft Excel Software. The results of this study indicate that the level of student interest in learning basketball shows a percentage of learning interest of as much as 43% with suitable criteria. So, it can be concluded that the level of student interest in learning basketball can increase if the teacher can present the material well and pleasantly and provide teaching through games so that students do not feel bored when learning takes place.

Abstract

The game is composed of rules with interesting scenarios as well as audio-visuals for entertaining users. With the development of mobile devices, games have also emerged on mobile devices. Thus it takes a quality model that every game developer expects. The characteristics of mobile game software are more unique than gaming software in general, especially in terms of mobility and portability. The quality of a mobile game can be seen from the aspects measured and tested according to the metrics for the quality needs of the mobile game. To determine the quality needs of the software, the characteristics of the software are used so that it becomes the basis for the formation of quality needs that are by the case used. The quality needs for mobile-based games are obtained from the characteristics of mobile-based applications and mobile-based games. Evaluation of the proposed quality needs will be used as a reference to measure the quality of a mobile game.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze an information system that is necessary for logical decision-making, so it requires an understanding of the problem and knowledge of alternative solutions. This study report was carried out using a descriptive qualitative method by reviewing scientific articles taken from Google Scholar by taking notes. The results of the study, that more precise information results in better decisions. The quality of information depends on 3 (three) things, namely, the information must be accurate, timely, and relevant. The elements in decision-making that must be considered are the purpose of decision-making, identification of decision alternatives to solve problems, calculations of factors that cannot be known beforehand or are beyond human reach, and the means or tools used to evaluate or measure the result of a decision.
