Abstract

Science learning activities for early childhood should be carried out in a fun way, bringing children closer to nature, developing thinking skills and science process skills. One of the recommended learning models is the Children Learning in Science learning model. This study aims to analyze early childhood science learning using the Children Learning In Science learning model. This research is a literature review study using the Google Scholar search engine with a total of 76 articles. The results obtained were 10 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study found three themes, namely early childhood science, children learning in science learning models, and the application of children learning in science learning models in early childhood science learning. Science learning should be instilled from an early age. Science learning for early childhood includes products, processes and science attitudes. With this learning model, early childhood can learn science as a whole and in accordance with the principles of early childhood science learning, namely concrete and fun.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum provides a new approach to the learning process in the classroom. A scientific approach is given to develop students' skills, knowledge, and attitudes. However, this scientific approach is a new challenge for teachers in its application. This challenge is indicated by the emergence of various issues related to the problems faced by teachers. The purpose of this study is to conduct a more in-depth search regarding the application of a scientific approach in the teaching and learning process carried out by English teachers at Madrasah Aliyah schools, Jayapura City. This research uses a type of qualitative research with descriptive methods. The sample in this study was an English teacher who taught at Madrasah Aliyah in Jayapura City. The research subjects were selected using a purposive sampling technique. In the application of the English learning process between the teachers of Darul Maarif Numbay Jayapura and Al-Muttaqin there are differences in their application. Among them, in the core activity procedures, Darul Maarif teachers mostly apply all core activity procedures. This proves that there is a need for follow-up in the form of training in the application of scientific theory in teaching English to teachers at Madrasah Papua.

Abstract

Rice production is a community activity to produce rice, it is intended to maintain food security in the future. The aim of this research is to develop the best model for forecasting rice production based on ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Averages) and ANN (Artificial Neural Network) approaches. The results will be compared with the error rate values of the ARIMA and ANN methods with the available data. The data used in this study is data on rice production in Panti District, Jember Regency. The level of forecasting accuracy produced by each forecasting method is measured by the criteria of MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error), MSE (Mean Square Error) and RMSE (Root Mean Square Error). The results showed that from the forecasting method used in this study, the ARIMA (1,0,1) (1,0,2) method is the best forecasting method for the best rice harvest area in Panti District, Jember Regency with an average MAPE value is 0.05668374, MSE is 5.587553, and RMSE is 2.3638. Meanwhile, forecasting rice productivity using the ANN BP method (7,(7,3),1) is a fairly good forecasting method with an average MAPE value of 0.05703856 MSE of 4.828465, and RMSE of 2.197377. Therefore, the ARIMA model (1,0,1) (1,0,2)[12] is quite effective for predicting the amount of rice production in Panti District, Jember Regency, East Java Province for the next few years.

Abstract

Communicating means humans are trying to achieve common meaning and humans are trying to share information, ideas, or attitudes with other participants. If there is no similarity of meaning between the communicator and the communicant, that is, the communicant does not understand the message he receives, then communication does not occur or is not communicative. Communication is one aspect that is always needed by every human being. This proves that communicating is important in every stage of life. Communication is also needed by elderly parents or the elderly. Their need to communicate to others can also be distinguished between each other. This research uses a qualitative method because the source of the data is not a human being but a document. This research 'includes a type of library research', while the data collection uses documentation techniques. The 'data analysis used is content analysis. The results showed that the elderly person (elderly) is someone whose approach differs between one elderly person and another elderly person, so that in communicating with them also requires different communication patterns in order for similar meanings to occur so as to create effective communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the learning model, learning outcomes and the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the ability to cooperate and social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SDN Inpres Tammu-tammu, Maros Regency. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. Data collection techniques through learning outcomes tests, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis, inferential statistical analysis and hypothesis testing. The data obtained were normally distributed and homogeneous using the normality test and the SPSS homogeneity test. The application of the Problem Based Learning learning model in this study obtained the results of the Cooperation ability and social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade elementary school students in Moncongloe District in the high category and experienced an increase after So there was an effect of using the Problem Based Learning model learning model on Cooperation and fourth grade student learning outcomes. in Moncongloe District, it was proven through calculations using the t-test (paired sample t-test) which obtained significant results (2-tailed) 0.000 for the ability to cooperate and learning outcomes. If the significance value is less than 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Because the value of 0.00 is smaller than 0.05, Ha in this study is accepted, which means that there is a significant effect on cooperation and social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade elementary school students in Moncongloe District, Maros Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to collect, process, and present accurate data or information on the significant effect of applying the project based learning model in social studies learning on the creative thinking skills of students at SDN 55 Pamanjengan, Moncongloe Village, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency; and the significant effect of applying the project based learning learning model in social studies learning on students' social studies learning interest. This type of research is survey research with quasi-experimental techniques. The research population was all students of SDN 55 Pamanjengan, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency after the 2021/2022 school year with a total of 321 people with a sampling technique of 54 people according to the characteristics of experimental research using an experimental class and a control class. The results showed that the probability value of planting the concept (pretest-posttest experimental group) was 0.000 <0.05. The probability value of social studies interest (pretest-posttest experimental group) is 0.000 <0.05. The probability value of planting the concept (posttest control-experiment group) is 0.05 = 0.05. The probability value of interest in learning social studies (posttest control-experiment group) is 0.000 <0.05. so it can be understood that H0 in hypothesis 1 is rejected then Ho is rejected H1 is accepted. Likewise, H0 in hypothesis 2 is rejected, then Ho is rejected, H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that there is an influence of project-based learning (PBP) on the ability to think creatively in students of SDN 55 Pamanjengan, Moncongloe Village, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency. In addition, there is also the effect of project-based learning (PBP) on the interest in learning social studies students at SDN 55 Pamanjengan, Moncongloe Village, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency
