Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is concern in publishing the original research articles, review articles from the contributors and the current issues related to multidisipline of education. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. This journal has been accredited in Grade 4 (Sinta 4) based on the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology No. 158/E/KPT/2021, December 27, 2021.

Abstract

This research identifies the study of Intermediate Learning in History by helping students get to know historical knowledge directly and making history learning more real, clear, viral, interesting, and lively. It also helps sensitivity to the problems of the community environment outside the campus towards causal relationships that make history learning more permanent. This article was prepared using a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collected through direct and in-depth interviews and supported by archival documentation of photos and recordings. Research has found that the location of Serambi Soekarno is lacking and has not even been widely known and interested by the community, both the campus community and the wider community. The use and application of media and work-tour learning models in historical tours is a top program for students of the History Education Study Program in adding innovative and advanced means of enjoyment and interest in learning. Some of the studies that will be raised regarding: Profile of the Soekarno Porch, Function of Learning Media in the Soekarno Porch, The Role of Campus Communities and Academic Historians in Utilizing the Soekarno Site as a Collective Study of Introduction to History. Seeing the learning model with field trips gives innovative meaning in learning real history and rebuilding the history and oral traditions of local communities.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know the school principal's strategy in empowering the community to improve school quality 2) Know the role and collaboration of school principals and committees in improving the quality of education 3) Know the Empowerment of School Committees in improving the quality of education at SMP Islam Annizam Medan 4) Knowing Supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the quality of education at SMP Islam Annizam Medan. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The technique used in analyzing the data is to record data from interviews and observations. The findings of this study are as follows: 1) So that the empowerment of school committees, especially in terms of improving the quality of school education, has not taken place as expected, the empowerment efforts are only temporary in nature; 2) The cooperative relationship between the school principal and the committee is going well, meaning that no problems arise so that the two have a harmonious relationship and 3) Supporting factors in efforts to empower school committees in improving the quality of education are carried out by the principal in efforts to maximize the functions and duties of school committees.

Abstract

Systems approach is needed in education management. In managing an educational institution there must be this system so that all processes that will be carried out/carried out are interconnected with one another. Utilization of this system approach is felt by educational institutions. Here we will discuss the meaning of the system itself, the notion of management and education, what components are in the education system and how the system is in education management and finally about the benefits felt by educational institutions in using this systems approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of PAI learning in Integrated Islamic Schools. The research location is at the Integrated Islamic Middle School Nurul Azmi Tanjungsari Sumedang. This research method uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive analysis with a case study approach. The research subjects were school principals, vice principals and teachers. While the data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research are that learning PAI subjects is combined with other subjects including general subjects, so each subject must contain its religious education, and for learning not only in class it can be used in a school environment that allows it to be used for learning such as mosques, in rice fields, in the field and others. With the 13th Curriculum of PAI learning at SMP IT Nurul Azmi from the Ministry of Religion plus material on aqidah, morals, the Qur'an Hadith takes common religious sources such as the book of Bulugul Marom and others without taking the teaching materials used by MTs.

Abstract

This research aims : (1) to determine differences in students' science process skills who applied inquiry training instructional models using PhET media better than conventional models, (2) to determine differences between students science process skills who have high motivation better than students who have low motivation, (3) to determine the interaction between inquiry training instructional models using PhET media and conventional instructional models with a level of motivation in influencing students science process skill. The sample was taken using a cluster random class in which each class has an equal opportunity to be a sample. The first class applied inquiry training instructional models and the second class as a class of control applied conventional instructional models. The variables in this study are: (1) The independent variable is the inquiry training instructional models, (2) a moderator variable is the motivation of students, and (3) The dependent variable is the students' science process skills. The instrument used in this study is an instrument to know the motivation of students consisting of 25 questions and an instrument science process skills that consists of 10 questions that are declared valid and reliable. Results of the research showed that: (1) The students' science process skills who gave inquiry training instructional model is better than the conventional instructional model; (2) the science process skills of students who have high motivation were better than students who have low motivation; (3) there is the interaction between the learning model inquiry training and motivation toward science process skills of students.

Abstract

Education to revive character is one of the alternative answers to renew the aridity of our educational output. This spirit of value education must be internalized in all components of education so as to create educational outputs that have a balance of competencies both on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor planes. This research was conducted to reveal student character through the integration of character values in PAI learning which was implemented at MTs Al-Fadliyah Darussalam Ciamis. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, with data collection carried out by observation supplemented by interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that MTs Al-Fadliliyah Darussalam Ciamis integrates character (religious, honest, independent, communicative, responsible and democratic and etc) in PAI learning which is carried out with special emphasis on material, methods and is supported by several madrasah programs. In general, the integration of character values in PAI learning runs effectively, because it is supported by sufficient facilities at MTs Al-Fadliliyah Darussalam Ciamis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the challenges of higher education institution management (the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0 at STAI Sumatra Medan. Qualitative research methods using observation, interview and document study techniques. curriculum that has not been integrated, processes that have not been integrated with technology, lecturers and employees who are mostly undergraduates (S2) and lecturers who are not linear, infrastructure that is not optimal, management quality has not reached a transcendental (value-based) leadership style, resources relatively cheap financing, accreditation has not reached excellence, student activity units are not running, cooperation has not yet reached the level of international cooperation, alumni work is not in accordance with scientific disciplines Implementation of the 4.0 industrial revolution era at STAI Sumatra Medan by implementing an online system-based administration , design of e-learning learning modules, implementation of e-learning learning. The challenges of society 5.0 at STAI Sumatra Medan are human resources, supporting facilities, self-made artificial intelligence, completeness of big data.

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating Students’ Perception towards the use of Sevima Edlink Platform in English Learning at Aquatic Resources Management Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sinjai. This research employed a quantitative research method with description survey. The population of this research consisted of 196 the first semester students of Agricultural faculty at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sinjai. This research used purposive sampling technique in choosing sample; the sample of this study was 30 students of Aquatic Resources Management study program Agricultural faculty. The researcher used questionnaire in collecting data. The used type of questionnaire in this research was open-ended questionnaire and close-ended questionnaire and the construct of the questionnaire used TAM theory. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics on SPSS. The result of this study showed that Edlink platform was application that can be used in online learning. This Edlink platform made it easy for students to work on and collect their assignments. Moreover, this Edlink platform had interesting features and was easy to learn. It made students become happy to use it. However, more specifically in learning English, this platform increase productivity in learning but this Edlink platform did not improve effectiveness in learning. Furthermore, it could still be recommended to others to use.

Abstract

Curriculum development in education cannot be ignored. Until now, the 2013 curriculum is still being implemented in Indonesia after previously Indonesia had repeatedly changed the curriculum. In developing the special curriculum which is under the protection of the Ministry of Religion, Decree of the Minister of Religion (KMA) No. 183 of 2019 concerning the curriculum for Islamic Religious Education and Arabic Language in Universities is enforced as a reference. Many parties are involved in curriculum development, including school principals, teachers, school committees and students. The principal as a curriculum developer has the role of manager, leader and supervisor. This study aims to determine the role of school principals in developing the 2013 curriculum at MAS Al-Wasliyah 22 Tembung. In addition, this study also aims to describe the form of curriculum 2013 development carried out by the principal of MAS Al-Wasliyah 22 Tembung. The research methodology used is a qualitative approach that creates a global and environmental reflection that can be presented in words, conveying detailed thoughts obtained from the informant base by means of debriefing, monitoring and selecting information gathering methods. The results of the research are in the form of basic information and data related to the position of the school principal in developing the 2013 curriculum at MAS Al-Wasliyah 22 Tembung.

Abstract

The outbreak of the Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) since the end of 2019 until its peak in the first quarter of 2022 changed the pattern of Indonesian education. The interfaces of Traditional learning between educators and students directly switched to digital learning. This study aims to describe the transformation of offline learning phenomena into digital learning as a representation of online learning. Various references consisting of journals, articles, and books are used as secondary data in collecting scientific data. The results of the study show that there is technological adaptation among the people by using various types of platforms, such as: google meet, google classroom, zoom, LMS (Learning Management System). The pandemic condition has triggered people to become tech-savvy, thus shifting traditional learning patterns to digital (online).
