Abstract

An employee's performance is a reflection of both their actions and the results they produce while on the job.  The purpose of this research is to identify the most important factor affecting employee performance at The Haven Bali Seminyak by analysing the relationships between communication, job dedication, and the work environment.  A quantitative strategy is used in the research. A saturation sampling technique is used to collect data from 95 respondents using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire.  Statistical methods such as multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, classical assumption tests, and descriptive statistics were used to analyse the data.  Employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by work environment, job dedication, and communication, with communication being the most influential of these three factors.  Effective communication is crucial for boosting employee performance, and the findings highlight this importance, which contributes to better management practices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of workload, competence, and work discipline on employee performance at the Badung Regency Industry and Manpower Office. The population in this study was all employees of the Badung Regency Industry and Manpower Office, with sampling using total sampling technique. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 72 respondents, which were then analysed using multiple linear regression, t-tests, and beta efficiency. The results of the study show that, partially, the variables of workload and work discipline have a negative and significant effect on employee performance, while the variable of competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This means that the more evenly the workload is distributed, the better the competency through the training provided, and the stricter the company's discipline, the better the employee performance will be. Simultaneously, the three variables with the highest beta coefficient are the competency variable with a value of 0.428. These findings are expected to be used as evaluation material for management in formulating strategic policies to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to map the scholarly development of food and beverage management in tourism from a business, management, and accounting perspective by identifying its conceptual structure, intellectual structure, collaboration patterns, and future research directions. The study employed a systematic literature review approach following PRISMA 2020 and integrated it with bibliometric analysis using RStudio and the Bibliometric package. Data were collected from the Scopus database through a search of English-language journal articles published between 2020 and 2026 within the Business, Management and Accounting subject area. After the identification, screening, and eligibility procedures, a final corpus of 93 articles was retained for analysis. The findings indicate that food and beverage management in tourism has developed from a relatively narrow operational concern into a more visible and strategically significant research field. Conceptually, the literature is structured around three dominant themes: food tourism, marketing, and cultural heritage; sustainability, ecotourism, and destination management; and experience, authenticity, and co-creation. Intellectually, the field is supported by interconnected streams related to culinary experience, sustainable operations, destination development, managerial resilience, and digital innovation. The collaboration structure further reveals that knowledge production remains concentrated in a limited number of countries, particularly Italy and the United Kingdom, while emerging contributors such as Indonesia are growing but remain comparatively fragmented. These findings confirm the strategic role of food and beverage management in destination value creation and suggest that future research should prioritize digitalization, operational sustainability, food waste governance, and community-linked co-creation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of employee perceptions, workplace conflict, and work-related stress. Gemilang Management Indonesia (GMI) Bali became the research location. other questionnaires, interviews, and documentation are the research data used in this study. The sample size used is the GMI Bali workforce, with a total sample size of 63 GMI employees. In this study, Descriptive statistical analysis, instrument analysis, analysis of classical assumptions, analysis of multiple line regression, f test, t test, and beta coefficient test are some of the techniques used for data analysis. According to the study's findings, the personality t-test had a t-value of 2.656 and a significance of 0.10, the sense of belonging t-value of 4.178 and a significance of 0.000, and the work conflict t-value of -4.104 and a significance of 0.000. With a ttable comparison of 1.671 and the conditions significance < 0.05, it is possible to conclude that the work conflict variable has a significant negative impact on employee performance, while the personality and sense of belonging variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The three independent variables—personality, feeling of belonging, and work conflict—have a considerable impact on employee performance when taken together, as seen by the F test results, which show a F value of 39.767 > F table 2.76 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. It may be concluded that the sense of belonging has a stronger impact on employee performance since the beta coefficient test findings indicate that this variable has the greatest value (0,930) when compared to the other variables.

Abstract

Innovation performance is a critical factor in enhancing business competitiveness and long-term sustainability, particularly for craft Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) operating in an increasingly dynamic business environment. This study aimed to examine the effects of servant leadership and employee engagement on innovation performance among craft SMEs in Bali Province, Indonesia. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey of 86 craft SMEs selected through simple random sampling. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings revealed that servant leadership had a positive and significant effect on innovation performance. Likewise, employee engagement exerted a positive and significant influence on innovation performance. The model produced an Adjusted R² of 0.620, indicating that servant leadership and employee engagement explained 62% of the variance in innovation performance, while the remaining 38% was explained by other factors outside the proposed model. These findings support Social Exchange Theory, suggesting that leaders who prioritize serving, empowering, and supporting employees foster reciprocal relationships that strengthen employee engagement and ultimately enhance innovation performance. The study provides practical implications for craft SME owners by emphasizing the importance of implementing servant leadership practices and fostering employee engagement to improve innovation performance and sustain business competitiveness.
