Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work stress on performance through job satisfaction at The Meru Sanur Bali. The sampling method was carried out by proportional random sampling, where from 152 employees using the Lovin Husein Umar formula, (2003:108) 60 respondents were obtained where all respondents were given questionnaires randomly that the researcher met. The research data is secondary data obtained from The Meru Sanur Bali. The research hypothesis was tested using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis technique with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of the study showed that: (1) workload has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (2) work stress has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) workload has a positive and significant effect on performance. (4) work stress has a positive and significant effect on performance. (5) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance. (6) workload through job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance. (7) work stress through job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance. It is hoped that further research can examine other variables that influence employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis of marketing strategies in increasing sales at the Teja Boga Nusa Dua Bali Restaurant, making it easier for the Management of the Teja Boga Nusa Dua Bali Restaurant to determine the next steps in marketing the restaurant. This research used descriptive qualitative method with Purposive Simplifying technique by interviewing and distributing it to several respondents as Sampling. This research has 20 respondents. SWOT analysis is the data analysis used in this research. The results of this research were an IFAS value of 3.49 and an EFAS value of 3.45. So the position of Teja Boga Restaurant Nusa Dua Bali is located in quadrant II which is described as a growth position so that the right strategy and results are needed to increase food sales at Teja Boga Restaurant Nusa Dua Bali by increasing market development, market penetration and product development.        From the results of this research, it can be concluded that there is a need to develop attractive strategies such as strengthening branding, maintaining quality, being more innovative in product marketing, and maintaining prices that are appropriate to the food offered.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis praktik manajemen bisnis akomodasi melalui studi kasus The Dukuh Retreat, yang berlokasi di Desa Belumbang, Tabanan, Bali. Sebagai penginapan berskala kecil yang dikelola oleh keluarga dan berlokasi di daerah pedesaan, The Dukuh Retreat mewakili model pariwisata ramah lingkungan dan berbudaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis fungsi manajemen diterapkan dalam aktivitas operasional dan strategis penginapan, menggunakan kerangka kerja POAC (Perencanaan, Organisasi, Pelaksanaan, dan Pengendalian). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung di lokasi dan tinjauan literatur dari sumber akademik dan publikasi industri. Pendekatan kualitatif memungkinkan pemahaman tentang internal akomodasi, gaya manajemen, dan interaksinya dengan budaya lokal serta lingkungan alam. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa The Dukuh Retreat berhasil menerapkan layanan personal, keramahan berbasis komunitas, dan praktik berkelanjutan dalam manajemennya. Kelebihan yang diidentifikasi meliputi orientasi perencanaan yang kuat berfokus pada ekowisata, organisasi peran yang efektif dalam tim kecil, dan kepemimpinan yang memprioritaskan nilai-nilai budaya dan pengalaman tamu. Namun, tantangan tetap ada, seperti keterbatasan skalabilitas, ketergantungan pada tenaga kerja berbasis keluarga, dan kebutuhan akan strategi pemasaran digital yang lebih kuat untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi kepuasan tamu secara lebih mendalam, mengevaluasi praktik keberlanjutan jangka panjang, dan melakukan studi perbandingan dengan akomodasi serupa di pedesaan Bali. Studi semacam ini dapat berkontribusi pada model pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan yang lebih luas di wilayah berkembang.

Abstract

Amid the rapid growth of live shopping as a digital marketing strategy, consumer risk perception has emerged as a critical concern. Product mismatches and wasted time during live broadcasts present serious challenges that undermine consumer trust and hinder repurchase intention. This study employs the Stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) framework to examine how performance risk and time-loss risk—representing perceived risk stimuli—affect consumer trust (organism) in live shopping, ultimately influencing repurchase intention (response). A quantitative survey was conducted with 160 respondents who had previously engaged in live shopping. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that both performance risk and time-loss risk have a significant negative impact on trust, while trust significantly and positively influences repurchase intention. These results underscore the importance of managing risk perceptions to build consumer trust and foster repurchase intention in live shopping environments.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology presents significant opportunities for modernizing the agricultural sector, including in cassava cultivation and marketing. However, in Mulya Jaya Village, West Tulang Bawang Regency, the use of AI by farmers remains very limited. This study aims to describe the actual conditions of cassava production and marketing and evaluate the potential for AI applications to support increased efficiency and farmer welfare. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method, involving interviews, direct field observations, and a review of various literature sources. The results indicate that most farmers still rely on traditional methods for farming and selling their crops through middlemen. Farmers' low understanding of digital technology, coupled with limited supporting facilities and the unavailability of artificial intelligence systems suited to local conditions, are major challenges in the process of agricultural digitalization. However, significant opportunities remain for implementing innovations such as plant disease detection applications, sensor-based weather and soil moisture monitoring tools, and the use of digital platforms for marketing activities. Therefore, this research encourages the implementation of technology training for farmers, the development of software tailored to local needs, and synergy between the government, educational institutions, and digital agricultural business actors to accelerate the realization of modern, inclusive, and sustainable village agriculture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing entrepreneurial interest among students of the Accommodation Study Program at the Indonesian Community Academy of Hospitality Management (AK Mapindo). This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five active students selected purposively based on their interest in entrepreneurship. Thematic analysis was used to identify emerging patterns related to motivation, obstacles, and support influencing entrepreneurial interest. The findings indicate that internal factors such as self-confidence, entrepreneurial practice experiences on campus, and interest in creativity and independence significantly influence students’ desire to start their own businesses. On the other hand, external factors such as family support, social environment, and encouragement from lecturers and curriculum also play an important role. However, challenges such as limited capital, lack of access to advanced training, and insufficient entrepreneurial guidance were identified as inhibiting factors. These findings are expected to serve as a foundation for developing more contextual and relevant entrepreneurial education strategies tailored to the needs of vocational students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether organizational commitment, workload and communication affect employee performance at CV.Waja Motor Cabang Hayam Wuruk Denpasar. Samples were collected using saturated sampling techniques totaling 36 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study was multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that: (a) there is a significant and positive influence between organizational commitment and employee performance with a coefficient value of 0.530 and a significance value of 0.034, (b) there is a significant and positive influence between workload and employee performance with a coefficient value of 0.872 and a significance value of 0.010, and (c) there is a significant and positive influence between communication and employee performance with a coefficient value of 0.505 and a significance value of 0.009.

Abstract

The rise of healthy lifestyle trends among Generation Z has shifted consumption from health-driven decisions toward identity-based purchasing behavior. This study investigates the influence of Relative Advantage and Compatibility on Impulsive and Compulsive Buying, and further examines the moderating role of Self-Control. A quantitative approach was employed using purposive sampling, involving 220 Gen Z respondents in Bali who actively engage in healthy lifestyle activities. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS. The results reveal that Relative Advantage does not significantly affect Impulsive Buying nor Compulsive Buying, indicating that perceived health benefits are not the primary stimulus of consumption. In contrast, Compatibility significantly enhances both types of unrestrained buying, suggesting that alignment between a healthy lifestyle and personal identity drives consumers to engage in spontaneous and repeated purchases. The moderating effect of Self-Control was not supported, implying that internal regulation is insufficient when social norms strongly encourage a healthy lifestyle as a status symbol. Additionally, Impulsive Buying positively predicts Compulsive Buying, demonstrating the escalation from spontaneous to addictive consumption patterns. This study extends the S-O-R and Diffusion of Innovation frameworks by highlighting that healthy lifestyle adoption among Gen Z is primarily socially driven rather than functionally motivated. Practical implications recommend more ethical marketing strategies within the wellness industry, emphasizing mindful consumption and financial well-being

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a very important factor that has an impact on a business, especially in the restaurant sector. This study aims to determine the effect of product variations, facilities and promotions on customer satisfaction at Baliku Jamur. This study applies a quantitative research method. The sampling technique used in this study is the purposive sampling research method. The sample in this study were Baliku Jamur customers who were 15 years old and over and had visited at least twice. The respondents of this study were 80 Baliku Jamur customers. The research analysis used multiple regression analysis using SPSS 25 For Windows. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The results of the analysis through multiple linear regression showed a regression model Y = 4.021 + 0.231X1 + 0.171X2 + 0.097X3. The results of the study indicate that product variation has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Baliku Jamur, as indicated by the positive regression coefficient b1X1. Facilities have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Baliku Jamur, as indicated by the positive regression coefficient b2X2. Promotion has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Baliku Jamur, as indicated by the positive regression coefficient b3X3. The suggestions from this study are to develop variations of processed mushroom products to strengthen the branding of Baliku Jamur, develop parking areas to improve visitor comfort, and optimize digital promotions through creative and interactive content on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to reach more customers.

Abstract

In order to improve employee performance at The Bandha Hotel & Suites in Legian, Kuta Bali, every organization needs to consider competence, emotional stability, and perception. The aim of this research is to ascertain the impact of competence, emotional stability, and perception on employee performance and to find out the independent variables that have a dominant influence on employee performance at The Bandha Hotel & Suites Legian, Kuta Bali. There were eighty two individuals in the sample. Using the probability sampling method. Data collection uses the Likert scale. The t-test, beta coefficient test, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, validity and reliability test, and other techniques were employed in the analysis. Competence positively and significantly influenced on employee performance, according to the study's findings, which had a regression of 0.453 and a < gis value of 0.05. Employee performance was positively and significantly impacted by emotional stability, as evidenced by a regression of 0.595 and a < sig value of 0.05. Employee performance was positively and significantly impacted by perception, as evidenced by a regression of 0.337 and a < sig value of 0.05. The Bandha Hotel & Suites in Legian, Kuta Bali has a positive and significant relationship with employee performance, according to the t-test results, which were derived from 5,219 > t table 1.66. Since the emotional stability variable has the highest beta coefficient value when compared to other variables, its results from the beta coefficient test have a greater influence than those of the other variables.
