Abstract

Psychological first aid (PFA) is a form of psychological intervention that can be given to victims of crises, such as natural disasters. Students are often involved as volunteers in disaster events, but are often more focused on distributing aid or donations. Psychological First Aid training was conducted to increase the knowledge of Marabunta Psychology UNM students who are disaster volunteers about the basic concept and application of PFA to disaster victims. The methods used in this training include lectures and role plays by the participants. The PFA training was divided into four stages including pretest, explanation of the PFA concept by resource persons, role play and relaxation, as well as posttest and evaluation. The results of the analysis of the pretest and posttest data showed that there was a significant increase in the participants' understanding of PFA knowledge.

Abstract

This activity aims to introduce and sharpen the knowledge of KONI Makassar athletes on mental skills that will play a very important role in the training and matches they will take part in. This activity departs from a needs analysis which is carried out using observation and interview methods to find out what things athletes need to improve in terms of psychological skills, it turns out that many athletes do not know in detail the mental skills needed to become successful athletes. The basic theory that is used as a reference in making psychoeducational materials is Jack Lesyck's nine mental skills for successful athletes. This theory is used because it is considered very holistic and comprehensive to help athletes have the mental skills that must exist in them to become successful athletes. Based on the results of the pre and post-test, it was concluded that the psychoeducation arranged by the research team provided knowledge and sharpened information about the mental skills possessed by athletes in Makassar City. Further research is expected that athletes will be given special assistance so that more mental exercises can be carried out by athletes

Abstract

Fear of missing out is a great desire to stay connected with what other people are doing through cyberspace. This psychoeducation aims to add information to adolescents about the Fear of Missing Out phenomenon and how to prevent it. Psychoeducation was carried out by distributing posters and giving a survey using a Google form to several teenagers in Makassar and South Tangerang for three days. The results of implementing psychoeducation on 30 teenage respondents aged 17 to 20 years, namely psychoeducational activities provide information so that respondents become more aware of the Fear of Missing Out phenomenon and add insight. In addition, the insights obtained from psychoeducational activities are that respondents understand more about the Fear of Missing Out phenomenon and how to overcome it, the contents of the poster can be applied to themselves, know what to do when experiencing this situation, and get motivation after reading posters related to Fear of Missing Out prevention.

Abstract

Children's fine motor skills are very important to pay attention to and develop from the golden age. Efforts that can be made to improve children's fine motor skills are to provide stimulation from the outside such as providing educational games that can help improve fine motor development. This service aims to stimulate fine motor skills of early childhood at UPT PPRSA Inang Matutu. Children's fine motor stimulation is provided through interesting and fun educational game methods. The game is named “The Road-Connecting Game”. Games are designed using simple and low-budget tools and materials so that they can be a reference for parents and social workers in stimulating children's fine motor development. The subjects in this study were APM class A at UPT PPRSA Inang Matutu as many as 10 people aged 4-5 years. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and interview methods. This development uses the class action method through 6 stages, namely initial reflection, field introduction, finding solutions, action planning, action implementation, observation, and evaluation. The results of this service show that there is an increase in children's fine motor skills after carrying out the game. It is hoped that the use of educational game tools can be carried out to stimulate aspects of development adapted to the stages of age and child development.

Abstract

One of the most essential aspects in determining the quality of service received is the satisfaction of customers. Through this program, partners will be helped to learn about and comprehend the cadets' opinions of the PIP Makassar services that have been rendered. The activity was carried out by providing surveys to 582 PIP Makassar cadets via Google form. The SPSS tool was then used to evaluate the questionnaire responses. Based on the findings of descriptive analysis, it is possible to conclude that PIP Makassar cadets are satisfied with the services provided at PIP Makassar.

Abstract

A woman chooses to sell her body to make ends meet, due to several factors. Not only is the economy the main reason for working as a sex worker, but also family and social environment factors. From these factors a person easily experiences psychological instability, especially when undergoing a rehabilitation period with a feeling that they have not accepted the new status condition of being a beneficiary. Therefore, community service is carried out by psychoeducation using non-training methods to find out whether there is an effect of psychoeducation on the importance of mental health for the Prosecutors in Mattiro Deceng. Psychoeducation is based on the One-Group Pretest-Postest Design method. Participants who participated were 32 people, from the age range of 16 years to 47 years and were female. Based on the results of data processing from a comparison of pre-test and post-test scores for each participant, it shows that 20 respondents experienced an increase in understanding of mental health, as many as 10 participants did not experience an increase in point 1, and as many as 2 participants did not experience an increase in point 2. Thus, there is an increase in understanding between the pre-test and post-test of providing psychoeducation to beneficiaries (PSK) at UPT PPSKW Mattiro Deceng. It is hoped that further community service can develop and reach a wider audience.

Abstract

Bullying is a form of negative behavior that is carried out by individuals to show their strength or want to be recognized as powerful by carrying out unfavorable actions such as hitting, mocking, frightening and suppressing other people. To overcome this problem, learning and teaching practices were carried out for fifth grade students at SD Inpres Tamamaung III. The purpose of carrying out learning and learning practice activities is to help (1) students understand what bullying means, (2) know the types or forms of bullying, (3) know the impact of bullying behavior, (4). introducing students to the factors that cause bullying behavior, (5) provide an overview of how to fight if bullying occurs. The method used is the presentation method, and to find out the results of practice are measured by giving a pretest and posttest. Based on the results obtained, it was stated that the provision of material about bullying behavior can increase students' understanding of bullying behavior.

Abstract

Bentuk Kegiatan Pembelajaran (BKP) Magang. Program Magang merupakan program kegiatan pendidikan, pelatihan, dan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan pada mitra yang relevan untuk mencapai kompetensi mahasiswa sesuai level KKNI dan SN-Dikti di bidangnya. Program ini membantu mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, penyelesaian masalah (problem solving), komunikasi, dan kolaborasi mahasiswa. Dalam proses pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang unggul Kalla Group melaksanakan program magang bersertifikat dibidang Human Capital. Mahasiswa diberikan kesempatan untuk menambah pengalaman di dunia kerja, memperluas wawasan, mengembangkan diri dan potensinya melalui beberapa program kegiatan. Analisis jabatan merupakan cara yang terstruktur sehingga mampu mengindentifikasi dan menganalisa persyaratan apa saja yang diperlukan dalam sebuah pekerjaan. Workload analysis merupakan suatu rangkaian kegiatan yang harus diselesaikan oleh suatu unit organisasi atau pemegang jabatan dalam jangka waktu tertentu untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang efisiensi dan efektifitas kerja suatu unit organisasi. Kompetensi merupakan karakter sikap dan perilaku, atau kemauan dan kemampuan individual yang relatif stabil dalam menghadapi situasi dan tempat kerja yang terbentuk dari sinergi antara watak, konsep diri, motivasi internal, serta kapasitas pengetahuan konseptual. Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood. At partner locations, there are still many teenagers who experience difficulties in expressing themselves both internally and externally which will have an impact on the process of social interaction. In connection with the problems obtained, the implementation team carried out a method of providing psychoeducation, pre-test and post-test about self-disclosure with the theme "Who Am I?". The purpose of the pre-test and post-test is to find out the increase in students' understanding before and after giving psychoeducation. By holding this psychoeducation, it is hoped that Kartika XX-1 Makassar High School students can increase their understanding and implement this understanding in everyday life. There were 84 students who participated in providing psychoeducation. Based on the psychoeducation results that have been given, it was found that there was an increase in understanding for SMA Kartika XX-1 Makassar students about self-disclosure as indicated by the difference between the results of the pre-test and post-test. Thus, psychoeducation about self-disclosure can be an effective method of increasing adolescent understanding, especially students at SMA Kartika XX-1 Makassar in the process of expressing themselves.

Abstract

Students generally feel anxious when they are going to do or to anticipate an important task, i.e. speaking in public. Normally, students overcome the feeling of anxiety by trying to calm down, and they believe that this strategy was the best way to reduce anxiety before doing a task (pre-performance anxiety). Several previous studies show that the best alternative way for reducing anxiety is not by calming down, but by reappraising the physiological reaction of anxiety as a feeling of pleasure that arises from doing an enjoyable task as excitement. Individuals who reassess this experience, have better performance and lessen anxiety than individuals who try to calm down. In this study, participants will be trained to change their physical assessment of anxiety-provoking situations, by repeating the phrase "I'm excited", or by reading a short message "go for it!" which makes them feel excited (more excited) when they are about to start a task. The current research shows that there a slight decrease in participants anxiety after 1 week. This finding supports the previous research that anxious and excitement emotions are characterized by high arousal; therefore, it is better to change judgement of these emotion instead of trying to change arousal from high to low. Changing judgments is much easier for individuals, and consequently, this will also affect performance (public presentation).
