Jurnal Mappesona: is a scientific journal that publishes research articles, original research reports, and reviews in the field of Islamic Education Management. This journal is intended for education practitioners, lecturers, education policymakers, and researchers interested in innovation and development in Islamic educational institution management, effective resource management, the application of technology in educational administration, and strengthening educational leadership with a global perspective. All submitted manuscripts undergo a blind peer review process by experts from various universities, with plagiarism checks using Turnitin and a maximum similarity rate of 20%. The journal is published three times a year (February, June, October) and is open access, meaning that all articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide. In its publication process, the Jurnal Mappesona prioritizes publication ethics in accordance with COPE guidelines, which include the responsibilities of authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers to maintain scientific integrity. Submitted articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in another journal. Article acceptance decisions are made objectively based on contribution, novelty, relevance, and presentation quality. The journal rejects all forms of ethical violations, including fabrication, falsification, citation manipulation, and plagiarism, including partial plagiarism or paraphrasing without proper citation. Abstract

Local content is one of the most important elements for education in Indonesia. Lokalcontent is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the objekctives, content, and learningmaterials compiled by education units according to the diversity of the potential of eachregion. This study is aimed to know: (1) Analisis of local content education policies in thecurriculum. (2) Teacher involvement in the application of local cantent and skills assubjects. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptiveapproach to the study of documents/texts. Result of this study shows that:(1) Educationpolicy analysis becomes very important in the application of local content because itis supported by the curriculum. (2) The role of the teacher in the education systemholds full responsibility in the implementation of education for the success of theirstudents so that teacher involvement is important in the application of local contentand subject skills.

Abstract

Educating the life of the nation is the task of the state agains it’s people. Education is the noble ideal that has been outlined since this nation was born. With education this nation can contribute with other nations in the world. However, in reality access to education in society has not been evenly distributed. There are still areas, leading and left behind that require a lot of educational touch. Equity is required for access to education so that every citizen who has the same opportunity is educated. Government program ssuch as the SM3T or Bina Daerah program become the chosen strategy. However, it should be supported by the community as a Civil Society. People must also move to develop education.

Abstract

Learning is a core activity in an educational process. Learning can be carried out in class ordistance if necessary if there are obstacles to meet in a class due to situations and conditions that do not allow. This study aims to determine (1) the distance learning system that is applied, (2) the impact of the distance learning system on student achievement, (3) the constraints in implementing the distance learning system. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a type of descriptive qualitative research approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of distance learning still has many obstacles such as inadequate equipment and poor internet connections, besides that the increase in learning success is still small and ineffective.

Abstract

Evaluation is the one of several important activities to increase the quality ofeducation. The national examination is the technique in evaluate education process.Today, debating about pro and contra national examination still in progress. Someexperts, like teacher and politician doubt the effectiveness of national examination,but on the other side many experts believe the national examination is the bestsolution for increasing the quality of education. Despite the weakness especially inpractice, the national examination was good solution for many problem to increasethe quality of education, and in conceptual’s context the national examination wasthe effective way for increasing quality. Besides that, the national examination wasa mandate from constitution (UU No. 20/2003 and PP No. 19/2005). So, it isunfair if national examination must be cancelled only based on several doubt from some expert without give chance to government for reduction the weakness.

Abstract

The role of education in character development is very strategic because to shape the character of effective students it can only be done through education, in this case the school residents (school principals,teacher, employee, and student) has a very important role in the development of character and moral values of students. Therefore, the Principal as managers and leaders are responsible for translating and implement character education policies in order to shape the character of students in this case to minimize juvenile delinquency. This study aims to analyze the character education policy implementation in minimizing adolescence. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with the type of descriptive research study approach documents / texts.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is directly related to the role of schools as educational institutions. Management of teaching and learning in schools is very meaningful in determining student success. To achieve good quality schools, the cost of education must be managed optimally. Therefore, education funding must be considered to support the smooth learning in schools. Basically the purpose of educational funding is the implementation of the educational procaess that is in accordance with the expected learning needs of students. Accountability of education funding in schools is in the very high category, meaning that the school must be able to carry out education financing management to the fullest from the financial planning and budgeting, funding implementation, financing supervision and control or accountability.

Abstract

Public expectations for quality education are in line with the demands of the business community to obtain a quality workforce. Thus, the organization of education must be able to respond and accommodate these expectations and demands in the decision making process to improve the quality of education. This study aims to describe and analyze school-based management in improving the quality of education, as well as the obstacles faced by schools in implementing school-based management. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection used through literature study.

Abstract

Tak dapat dipungkiri virus covid-19 ini merubah semua tatanan pendidikan di berbagai negara tak terkecuali Indonesia yang dengan hal ini memberikan wajah baru bagi Pendidikan Indonesia tujuan dari artikel ini penulis ingin meninjau problematika kebijakan pendidikan dikala pandemi, terbukti dengan berbagai problematika yang muncul seperti sulitnya mencapai tingkat pemahaman siswa, keterbatasan pengetahuan teknologi, keterbatasan sarana prasarana karena perbedaan wilayah dan lain lain. Namun di sisi lain kebijakan tersebut telah memberikan dampak terhadap proses transformasi baik dari peserta didik pendidik maupun orang tua, Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi implementasi program birokrasi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi program birokrasi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles and Hubberman yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
