Abstract

This community engagement program focuses on strengthening students’ entrepreneurial capacity by utilizing the economic momentum of the Ramadan season. As a month filled with religious traditions, cultural practices, and dynamic social activities, Ramadan creates significant shifts in consumer behavior, resulting in increased demand for iftar snacks, seasonal markets, and various short-term business opportunities. These conditions provide students with an accessible space to learn about opportunity recognition, basic business management, and practical marketing strategies tailored to the needs of the surrounding community. Through training sessions, surveys, field practice, and evaluations, students gain hands-on experience that enhances their creativity and innovation, allowing them to develop products and services relevant to the local market. Cultural values also play a central role, as local traditions help shape students’ business ideas and strengthen their understanding of consumer preferences. The collaboration between students, UMKM partners, and community members facilitates knowledge transfer, expands entrepreneurial networks, and supports local economic empowerment. The overall results demonstrate that structured guidance, cultural integration, and active participation in Ramadan activities significantly contribute to students’ entrepreneurial development. Therefore, Ramadan-based entrepreneurship learning can serve as an effective model for fostering young entrepreneurs who are adaptive, innovative, and capable of contributing to sustainable community development.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to improve the capacity of salted fish SME actors in strengthening product branding through training, mentoring, and the use of digital media. This activity was designed to address the low level of understanding among business actors regarding brand identity, modern marketing strategies, and the use of digital technology as a means of promotion. Through an interactive training approach tailored to field conditions, participants gained practical understanding of visual identity development, marketing communication, social media use, and marketplace utilization strategies. The results of the PKM showed significant improvements, including an increase in branding understanding from 30% to 85%, visual identity changes by 70% of participants, and a 40% increase in sales within three months. In addition, the use of social media increased from 20% to 75%, followed by an increase in the use of e-commerce as a sales medium. Participants also showed positive responses and high interest in participating in further training. This PKM proves that strengthening branding can increase the competitiveness of SMEs and have an impact on local economic growth. These findings emphasize the importance of continuous training and mentoring support so that SMEs can adapt to market and technological developments.

Abstract

In the Islamic boarding school, it is hoped that it can prepare students who are resilient to face global developments in the era of the 4.0 revolution which is increasingly rapid, ambiguous and full of uncertainty. Students must be able to adapt in the face of increasingly rapid global developments and are required to be able to balance worldly skills and the hereafter. To be able to compete in global competition, students are not only taught Islamic sciences but also have leadership skills. Leadership is one of the important factors for the success of an organization. Leadership is the art of influencing others, both in relation to individuals and groups. The ability to influence is closely related to the ability of a leader to influence his members to be able to work together in achieving organizational goals. The spirit of leadership cannot appear automatically but must always be honed, especially among teenagers. With the training to build a leadership spirit among the students of the Al-Furqon Al-Islami Driyorejo Islamic Boarding School, it is hoped that they will be able to play a role in channeling energy and developing the potential of the students in a positive direction, one of which is related to the growth and development factor of the leadership spirit so that this is one of the good provisions when they enter the community one day.

Abstract

Digital literacy is a fundamental ability for the younger generation in facing increasingly rapid technological developments. However, youth in Sanahu Village still experience limited internet access which has an impact on low mastery of digital literacy. This condition not only increases their vulnerability to the spread of misinformation, but also limits their participation in education, employment opportunities, and technology-based social activities. In response to these problems, the service team implemented a digital literacy education program that focuses on improving critical thinking skills, digital ethics, and the ability to utilize technology productively. This activity was held on October 23, 2025 at the Elim Church Building – Sanahu Village by involving 50 young men and women as participants. The implementation method includes material delivery, interactive discussions, and evaluation of understanding through simple assessment instruments. The results of the evaluation showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the concept of digital literacy, including the ability to identify credible information and practice media ethics. These findings confirm that digital literacy education has a strategic role in empowering youth and supporting the development of Sanahu Village towards a more adaptive, critical, and competitive society in the digital era.

Abstract

Sanahu Village is a coastal area where most of the residents rely on fisheries as their primary source of livelihood. However, the growing population and increasing economic demands have led to the rise of environmentally unfriendly fishing practices, including the use of gear that damages aquatic habitats. This situation poses a serious threat to the sustainability of marine resources and the balance of coastal ecosystems. Therefore, efforts to provide understanding, education, and guidance to fishermen regarding the importance of using more environmentally friendly fishing gear are urgently needed. The results of the community service activity indicate that socialization on the use of selective fishing gear with minimal negative impact on the ecosystem is highly necessary and has been positively received by the fishermen of Sanahu Village. In addition to increasing awareness, the successful implementation of eco-friendly fishing tools also requires strong support from local government, non-governmental organizations, environmental activists, and active community participation. Such collaboration is essential to establish effective monitoring systems, ensuring that marine resources can be utilized sustainably while preserving the ecological integrity of coastal waters.

Abstract

Health is a fundamental right that plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of biological, social, and individual developmental activities. One of the efforts that can be undertaken to improve health quality is the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). The school environment holds a strategic role in cultivating PHBS habits, considering that school-aged children are a vulnerable group prone to various health problems due to limited knowledge about personal hygiene and disease prevention. At this developmental stage, behavior formation is strongly influenced by education, environmental examples, and daily activities within the school setting. Therefore, education and socialization about PHBS are essential steps to enhance students’ understanding, awareness, and skills in practicing healthy behaviors. The PHBS socialization activities carried out at SD Inpres Kotania and SMP BPD Kotania aim to instill a healthy lifestyle from an early age by providing learning materials, demonstrations, and hands-on practice related to clean and healthy behaviors. Through these activities, students are expected to apply PHBS independently, both at school and at home, thereby contributing to reducing the risk of disease and creating a safe and healthy learning environment. This initiative also serves as a sustainable preventive effort to improve the overall health quality of the community in the future.

Abstract

The layout of facilities in the industrial world greatly affects the production process of a product. If the spatial layout used is good and appropriate, it will indirectly save distance, costs, time, and effort. Community service activities are carried out in partnership with SMK Manbaul Ulum. These activities aim to provide learning about facility layout to minimize production process time. The expected outcome of these activities is that students will be able to understand how to reduce excessively long production times and increase the number of products in a business unit, which impacts student productivity. The implementation methods include delivering material, simulating the production process layout, and conducting Q&A discussions. As a result, the activities are able to enhance students' understanding of the importance of layout in production facilities. Students can also simulate the production process to evaluate the existing layout in order to minimize production time. This activity has an impact on decision-making and problem-solving.
