Abstract

The existence of potential fishery resources in Indonesia makes business opportunities very abundant and profitable. This is a result of the large number of people consuming marine fish and the increasing demand for marine fish in the market resulting in intense competition in the business. The purpose of this research is to identify the implementation of the marketing strategy of marine fish agents in the Bandar Jaya Timur market, to find out the competitive conditions of marine fish agents and to find out how marine fish agents in the East Bandar Jaya Market face business competition. The type of research used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive design. The results of the research prove that the result of strength with opportunity and SO (Strength Opportunities) strategy, so that it is found that the aspect that must be prioritized is the quality of the product by looking at the increasing purchasing power of the people. The next result is that weaknesses and opportunities or WO (Weakness-Opportunity) strategies are found to take advantage of opportunities for increasing public purchasing power and increasing the number of human resources, as well as optimizing the schedule for fishing. Internal and external analysis of the industry and Cartesian diagrams can be found that the main strategy of the marine fish business is the Growth strategy. The marine fish business can maintain and improve the quality of marine fish products so that people continue to believe in the products of the marine fish business and establish networks with suppliers and consumers as well as expand marketing and take advantage of technological developments to face business competition.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the layout of raw material storage by reducing the distance needed to take the required raw materials, random placement of raw materials results in the raw material storage layout being less effective. This research was conducted for three months from August to November by means of observations and interviews with related parties. It is proven that the implementation of the Class Based Storage method can be a solution in structuring raw material warehouses which can provide significant benefits in terms of efficiency and better management of raw materials seen from the frequency of movement of goods before implementing the class based storage method, namely reaching 21,911 meters and after implementation. the frequency of movement distances is 14,691 meters, which shows that there is a decrease in the distance required for collecting raw materials, which indicates the effectiveness of implementing the class based storage method.

Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon of new investment instrument called Cryptocurrency-Bitcoin which becomes popular in recent years. Based on that phenomenon, this research tries to search which is the best investment instrument from three instruments such as Bitcoin, stocks, and gold. The research method used is quantitative method with the type of research is comparative descriptive. In this study, the authors use Sharpe, Treynor and Jensen index approach to evaluate the performance. This study intends to do a comparison from the index using the data of the investment instrument in the period of January 2014 to August 2017. The study sample was taken from price result from every investment instrument during the period of study. The result shows that Bitcoin is the best instrument because based on Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen value the return is better than the other two instruments.

Abstract

Indonesia has a variety of tourism destinations that attract domestic and foreign tourists. The level of foreign tourist arrivals in 2019 has reached 16 million tourists from various countries. The tourism sector occupies the fourth position as the largest foreign exchange earner for the country, amounting to the US $ 20 billion. West Java is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has a variety of tourism potentials that attract domestic and foreign tourists. One of the three main tourist destinations in West Java is Bandung Raya with nature theme destinations namely Tangkuban Perahu and Kawah Putih. One factor that drives the tourism industry to develop is tourist comfort. Tourist comfort can be seen from tourist reviews on various travel sites. The development of information communication technology makes a variety of information and data reviews of a tourist spot can be accessed quickly. Review in traveling site can be used as a reference for tourists’ tourism destinations and provide feedback for relevant stakeholders. One of the biggest travel review sites in the world is Trip Advisor. The purpose of this study is to analyze the reviews on two nature-themed tourism objects namely Tangkuban Perahu and Kawah Putih to obtain valuable information. This method is done by using text mining on all English-language reviews on the Trip Advisor site on tourism object. The steps are to collect data, preprocessing data, matrix term documents. Output consist of term frequency, word cloud and sentiment analysis with emotional classification. Research findings illustrate that text mining can be applied to travel reviews for tourism destinations in Indonesia. Obtained analysis related to tourist destination ratings above the average that can still be improved, the frequency of tourist terms filled with positive words even though expensive word appear, Ekman's emotional sentiment classification is dominated by emotional joy which means tourists feel comfortable in enjoying the tourism object, and emotional sentiment term frequency of sadness and anger can be stakeholder input for tourism destinations. Abstract

Providing services for every banking institution is an activity that is routinely carried out every day. This proves that the quality of service provided by each banking institution must be considered in order to achieve customer satisfaction. People who are directly involved in customer satisfaction are Customer Service Officers (CSOs). CSOs play a role in increasing customer satisfaction in order to maintain their loyalty. Banking institutions need professional human resources (HR) to enable the implementation of service excellence properly. Therefore, every CSO must be equipped with the ability and knowledge of qualified service excellence. In addition to the ability and qualified knowledge, another important thing in the implementation of service excellence which is related is communication. A CSO must understand very well how to properly interpersonal communication as it should be. Bank Rakyat Indonesia or BRI is one of the largest banks in Indonesia with a vision to become a leading commercial bank that always prioritizes customer satisfaction and pays great attention to service excellence. Research location at Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bandung Martadinata Branch Office. The object of research in this study is the services provided by CSOs with the implementation of service excellence to the customers. From the research results it can be rejected that there are increases and decreases in the number of customers who use Customer Service services. This is the author's consideration to examine how the implementation of excellent service to customers at the bank with the dimensions of service quality. Although some of the felt unsatisfied.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to demonstrate the correlation between ecologically conscious consumer behavior, green purchase intention, and green purchase behavior within a Zero Waste Indonesia community. Data was gathered from 175 consumers in Zero Waste Indonesia. A method of research that deals with the collection of numerical data and statistical analysis was used in this study, using questionnaires as the primary data collection technique and journal and national news sources for secondary data collection. The results of this research indicate that green purchase intention is influenced by ecologically conscious consumer behavior, green purchase behavior is influenced by green purchase intention, and ecologically conscious consumer behavior is not affected by green purchase behavior.

Abstract

The intention of purchasing green products is the desire or expression of one's intention to commit to activities that support environmental friendliness, green purchase intention is influenced by several factors such Ecological Knowledge and Ecological Affect is everything related with the expression of emotions on the environment with a correlation of 3 factors: attention to self, concern for others, and attention to the environment. The research method used in this research is the Survey method, while the type of research uses Causal Asosiative research with the indicator of the research level of consumer knowledge to the environment, the level of consumer affection to the environment, consumer interest towards the purchase of organic plants and the increase of local potential for organic plants in Bandung.The method of analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis is known to obtain the value Fcount 38.4196> F_tables 3.03 it can be interpreted that simultaneously factor-fator Ecological (Knowledge and Affect) have a significant influence on Green Purchase Intention. Based on the identification of Ecological factors and its effect on Green Purchase Intention, it can be seen that the influence of local potential increase in Bandung is t_count value 11, 160> t_table 1,683 because t_hitung> t_tabel it can be explained that Green Purchase Intention has an effect on increasing the Local Potential of Organic Plants in the city of Bandung. Green purchase intention (X1) and local potential (X2) on food security in Bandung can be shown from the calculation coefficient of determination as follows by 0.46 That is, green purchase intention (X1) and local potential (X2) 46 % in increasing food security of green vegetable production (Y). while the remaining 54.0% is influenced by other factors that are not included into the research model. Abstract

This study entitled the analysis of the competency of candidates for secretaries in companies in Indonesia. The results showed that the competencies needed for a candidate for secretary is to have an attitude that has a value above the average. Because the secretary's job is 80% to communicate, serve stakeholders according to their level. Therefore all lecturers need to provide motivation, direction in each learning process regarding the importance of attitude. Institutions are expected to facilitate by creating a conducive environment so that students have the habit to behave and behave well in their daily activities. Lecturers in this case are expected to be an example for female students.

Abstract

In this growing era, Umrah Travel business in Indonesia significantly growing rapidly. This study discussed an Examination of Muslim Travelers' Satisfaction on Umrah Tour Packages. Umrah services quality measured by accommodation, mobility, caretaking, food services, and problem solving. This research uses a quantitative research method and non-probability sampling with snowball sampling and distributed to 130 Muslim travellers. Tests used in this research were validity and reliability (as a pre-test), classical assumption tests and multiple regression test to test hypotheses. The result affirmed only hypothesis two (2) was rejected. It shows accommodation, caretaking, food services and problem solving have significant impacts on satisfaction, whereas mobility have not significant impacts on satisfaction. This study also shows that all variables in Umrah services quality (accommodation, mobility, caretaking, food services, and problem solving) have simultaneously significant impact on satisfaction of 36.6%

Abstract

Students become the target of Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) because of the age of 17-20 years is still low in investing in stock markets, where one of the programs that is done is by having a gallery of Investment Securities (GIBEI). The purpose of the research was to analyze and review the effect of product information, risk investment and investor satisfaction to interest in investing among the students of the GIBEI members at the Telkom University. This type of research is descriptive and verificative, with 31 students of the GIBEI members at the Telkom University serve as total sampling. Results of the study showed that only informed of products and satisfaction of investor partially significant effect to interest in investing, while simultaneously effect the whole variable (product information, investment risk and the satisfaction investors) to interest in invest is equal to 70.6%.
