Abstract

In the era of rapid technological advancement, digital transformation has become an essential strategy for companies in improving operational performance and organizational competitiveness. Various business systems are now automated and digitized to support more effective and efficient work processes across different sectors. This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing a digitalization system on employee performance effectiveness and efficiency within a company. The research employed a qualitative method using a case study approach, while data were collected through interviews with employees involved in the digital system implementation process. The findings reveal that the implementation of digital systems significantly improves employee performance by accelerating work processes, reducing manual errors, and enhancing communication and data accessibility. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including unstable internet connections, system bugs and errors, and the continuous need for software updates, which may temporarily disrupt employee productivity and workflow. Therefore, proper technological support and system maintenance are crucial for maximizing digitalization benefits.

Abstract

Conventional occupational health programs are often limited to biomedical and administrative approaches, overlooking the psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual dimensions that empirically drive long-term health adherence. This study aims to analyze how an employee with high cardiovascular risk independently implements a biopsychosocial-cultural-spiritual approach within an organizational context, as well as its implications for human resource management architecture, particularly in employee health management. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, medical history, and work records of an employee in a cement industry company (36 years old, with 18 years of service). Deductive-abductive thematic analysis revealed four integrative dimensions: (1) biological: self-monitoring and evidence-based lifestyle modification; (2) psychological: transition from denial and perfectionism to acceptance and a meditative state; (3) socio-cultural: social learning from colleagues and neighbors, mentoring as “charitable knowledge sharing,” and reframing corporate KPIs from burdens into sources of support; and (4) spiritual: interpreting illness as a “divine trust” and responsibility as a “khalifah” (steward). The findings indicate that spiritual meaning functions as a catalyst that activates the reallocation of psychological resources (Conservation of Resources Theory), redesigns job demands (JD-R Model), and strengthens perceived benefits within the Health Belief Model. This study contributes to the development of meaning-enabled HRM by shifting the health intervention paradigm from external compliance toward facilitating employees’ holistic agency.

Abstract

Household waste management remains an environmental challenge due to limited public understanding regarding waste classification. This study aims to develop a web-based 2D educational game entitled EcoSort: City Savior and evaluate changes in users’ knowledge after using the game. The system was developed using the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method and implemented using Unity 2D with WebGL technology. Functional testing was conducted using Black-Box Testing with the Equivalence Partitioning technique. The evaluation applied a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 30 respondents aged 15–17 years. The results showed that the average pretest score increased from 41 to 88 in the posttest. Statistical analysis using the paired sample t-test produced a p-value of 4.39272E-13 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. These findings indicate that EcoSort: City Savior has the potential to be used as an interactive learning medium for improving understanding of household waste classification.

Abstract

The banking business is confronted with more intricate risks as a result of digital revolution, more regulation, and shifting financial market conditions. It is the purpose of this research to examine how state-owned banks in Indonesia fare financially in relation to ERM, corporate governance, risk management information systems, and leverage. This study employs a quantitative explanatory methodology based on secondary data culled from the 2018–2025 annual reports, financial statements, and corporate governance reports of Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI, and BTN. Descriptive statistics, assessments of classical assumptions, and multiple linear regression were employed to examine the records. The results demonstrate that Enterprise Risk Management influences financial performance in a favorable and statistically significant way, suggesting that integrated risk management contributes to increased profitability. The fact that leverage has a positive effect indicates that, with good management, debt can boost financial performance. When looking at corporate governance, the size of the board of commissioners is not a strong indicator of financial performance. On the other hand, there is a notable impact from the risk management information system, however it is important to approach its interpretation with care because of multicollinearity and the lack of data variation. According to these results, in order for state-owned banks to keep their financial performance in the long run, they should optimize their leverage, increase the quality of their risk information systems, and enhance integrated risk management.

Abstract

The establishment of a corporate legal framework is essential in providing legal protection for companies, employees, clients, and other stakeholders involved in business activities. In the digital era, rapid business development, particularly in the E-Commerce sector, has created new challenges related to legal compliance. The increasing use of digital platforms has exposed companies to various legal risks, including online fraud, data breaches, privacy violations, and non-compliance with applicable regulations. Therefore, organizations must implement effective strategies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This study aims to analyze the role of Human Resource (HR) Management in maintaining legal compliance within the E-Commerce environment. The research employs a normative juridical approach with descriptive analysis based on a comprehensive literature review of relevant laws, regulations, and academic sources. The findings reveal that HR Management plays a strategic role in promoting legal compliance through employee training programs, the development and implementation of internal policies, monitoring employee conduct, and supervising company operations. HR also contributes to fostering a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the organization. Effective HR management can minimize the risk of legal violations, enhance consumer trust, strengthen corporate reputation, and support long-term business sustainability in the increasingly competitive digital marketplace.

Abstract

Community health center staff performance is crucial to the provision of high-quality health services, as stated in Law 6 of 2023 and Minister of Health Regulation 19 of 2024. Central Statistics Agency (2026) statistics and prior research on health workers both point to the possibility that high workloads and stress on the job impact employee performance. Service quality at the UPTD Salawu Community Health Center in Tasikmalaya Regency is susceptible to factors such as staff burnout, excessive workloads, and unsupportive work environments. Furthermore, there are still gaps in the literature and contradictory results when it comes to studying the correlation between stress on the job, workload, and productivity. Consequently, the purpose of this research is to examine how stress and workload at UPTD Salawu Community Health Center in Tasikmalaya Regency affect workers' productivity. This study employed a quantitative approach based on a survey methodology, with 99 employees receiving questionnaires. Saturated sampling techniques were utilised to choose all employees as samples. Workload and stress at work have a favourable effect on productivity, according to the findings. Maintaining a manageable level of stress at work enhances concentration, self-control, and accountability; distributing responsibilities fairly boosts output and the standard of care for the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of price perception, word of mouth, servicescape, and consumer trust on customer satisfaction at Suzuya Hotel Rantauprapat. This research employs a quantitative approach to systematically investigate the relationships among the selected variables. The participants of the study were customers of Suzuya Hotel Rantauprapat, and the Lemeshow formula was applied to determine the sample size due to an unknown total population. A total of 96 respondents participated in this study. Data collection methods included observation, documentation, and the administration of a structured Likert-scale questionnaire. Prior to hypothesis testing, traditional assumption tests such as data normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity were performed to ensure the validity of the regression analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using the coefficient of determination (R²), partial (t) tests, and simultaneous (F) tests. The findings demonstrate that price perception, word of mouth, servicescape, and consumer trust each have significant partial effects on customer satisfaction, while collectively they exert a substantial simultaneous influence. These results highlight the importance of strategic pricing, positive customer communication, quality service environments, and trust-building efforts in enhancing overall customer satisfaction at Suzuya Hotel Rantauprapat.
