Abstract

This research intends to evaluate how service quality and credit procedures affect customer satisfaction during the application process for public transportation loans at PT BPR Mutiara Nagari Sijunjung. Utilizing a descriptive methodology paired wit+h a quantitative strategy, the study gathers primary data through questionnaires given to participants, employing a purposive sampling method, and includes a total of 48 customers in the sample. Results from the partial tests demonstrate that service quality positively influences customer satisfaction. This is supported obtained being greater than the critical t-value (3.054 > 2.01290), along with a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. In addition, the credit procedures also exhibit a favorable effect on customer satisfaction, with the t-value (2.603) surpassing the t-table value (2.01290) and a significance level of 0.012, which is under 0.05. Moreover, the F-test analysis shows the calculated F-value is 43.106, exceeding the F-table value of 3.20. This indicates that both service quality and loan processing together have a significant positive influence on customer satisfaction during the loan application process at PT BPR Mutiara Nagari Sijunjung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work motivation and work environment on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 14 Gowa. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of causal associative research. The population in this study is all teachers of SMA Negeri 14 Gowa which is 56 people with saturated sampling techniques so that the entire population is used as a research sample. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the IBM SPSS program. The results of the study show that work motivation and work environment have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. This shows that the higher the work motivation and the better the work environment, the teacher's performance will also increase. In addition, this study also shows that a conducive work environment is able to strengthen teachers' morale in carrying out learning tasks optimally. This finding is expected to be the basis for schools to improve the quality of teacher performance through better motivational management and work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of changes in basic commodity prices on the consumption patterns of migrant students from the Management Study Program, Class of 2025, at Medan State University. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method and purposive sampling technique, involving 50 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, and linearity tests, as well as simple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that the research instruments are valid and reliable, and the data are normally distributed with a linear relationship between variables. The regression analysis shows that changes in basic commodity prices have a positive and significant effect on the consumption patterns of migrant students, with a regression coefficient of 0.595 and a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.338 indicates that 33.8% of the variation in students’ consumption patterns can be explained by changes in basic commodity prices, while the remaining is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. These findings suggest that migrant students tend to adjust their consumption patterns in response to changes in basic commodity prices.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an effective business strategy for PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk in addressing the increasingly competitive dynamics of the palm oil industry, along with the growing demand for sustainability practices. The study employs a comprehensive strategic management approach through three main stages: the input stage (EFE, IFE, CPM), the matching stage (SWOT, SPACE, BCG, IE, and Grand Strategy Matrix), and the decision stage (QSPM). The analysis results indicate that the company holds a relatively strong strategic position, with an EFE score of 2.96 and an IFE score of 2.89, and demonstrates a competitive advantage over its rivals. In the matching stage, the company is positioned in the aggressive quadrant and falls under the “Stars” category, reflecting high growth potential. Based on the QSPM analysis, the recommended priority strategy is product development, with a Total Attractive Score (TAS) of 6.56, which is considered superior to the market penetration strategy. This strategy focuses on downstream product diversification to enhance value-added and reduce dependence on CPO commodities. The implementation of this strategy is expected to strengthen the company’s competitiveness, improve long-term performance, and support business sustainability within the palm oil industry

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the role of leadership in building member motivation and improving organizational performance at the Civil Engineering Student Association in Lamongan Regency. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, which allows researchers to understand the phenomenon contextually and comprehensively. Data were collected through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the organization's administrators and members who were actively involved in various activities. The results of the study indicate that participatory and communicative leadership styles have a significant role in increasing member motivation. This is realized through giving appreciation, involving members in the decision-making process, and implementing open and transparent communication. High member motivation has a positive impact on improving organizational performance, particularly in the successful implementation of planned work programs. However, this study also found several obstacles, such as miscommunication, time constraints, and differences of opinion among members that can affect organizational effectiveness. Therefore, an adaptive and solution-oriented leadership strategy is needed. Overall, this study confirms that leadership, motivation, and organizational performance are closely related and significantly influence each other.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic position of PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) and to formulate optimal business strategies amid the increasingly complex dynamics of the mining and heavy equipment industries. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, utilizing secondary data from annual reports, financial statements, and corporate strategic documents. A comprehensive analysis was conducted using strategic management frameworks including PESTEL analysis, Porter's Five Forces, EFE Matrix, IFE Matrix, Competitive Profile Matrix, TOWS Matrix, SPACE Matrix, BCG Matrix, IE Matrix, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The findings indicate that UNTR is positioned in the Grow and Build quadrant with an aggressive strategic orientation. The QSPM analysis recommends a Product Development strategy with the highest Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) of 6.88 as the priority strategic alternative, supported by diversification strategies into nickel, gold, and renewable energy sectors. This study concludes that UNTR's success in maintaining sustainable growth critically depends on the company's ability to execute its 3D strategy (Differentiation, Diversification, Digitalization) and 3P roadmap (Portfolio, People, Public Contribution) synergistically

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of remote working on the work productivity of Generation Z employees in the modern professional landscape. As digital natives who entered the workforce during a period of significant structural change, Generation Z exhibits unique behavioral patterns regarding workplace flexibility and autonomy. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach to investigate the correlation between the independent variable, remote working, and the dependent variable, employee productivity. Data were collected from 50 respondents through a structured online questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale. The samples were selected using a purposive sampling technique, focusing on young professionals born between 1997 and 2012. The data analysis was performed using simple linear regression through SPSS software to test the research hypothesis. The findings of this study indicate that remote working has a positive and significant impact on the productivity of Generation Z employees. Several key factors contributing to this increase include improved work-life balance, the elimination of stressful daily commutes, and the ability to customize a comfortable working environment. However, the study also identifies potential challenges such as digital distractions and a sense of social isolation that may arise from a lack of physical interaction. These results provide an important implication for organizations to design more adaptive human resource policies. Companies are encouraged to implement hybrid or remote models supported by robust digital collaboration tools to maintain high performance and engagement levels among the younger workforce.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of a reliable import process in supporting manufacturing operations. PT XYZ has experienced recurring delays in the delivery of imported raw materials under the Less than Container Load (LCL) scheme and Ex Works (EXW) terms. These delays are primarily associated with freight forwarder performance, particularly during cargo consolidation and inland distribution from the port to the company’s warehouse. In practice, the selection of freight forwarders has tended to emphasize cost considerations, often at the expense of service reliability. This condition indicates the need for a more structured approach in evaluating logistics service providers. The objective of this study is to identify key criteria in freight forwarder selection, determine their relative priorities, and rank available alternatives. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is employed using a descriptive quantitative approach, with data collected through pairwise comparison questionnaires from respondents involved in export–import activities. The results indicate that delivery and service quality are the most influential criteria, followed by cost, responsiveness, and flexibility. These findings provide practical insight for improving decision-making in freight forwarder selection and support more reliable inbound logistics performance. This research contributes to strengthening supply chain reliability by offering a structured framework for vendor evaluation in manufacturing operations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital competencies and on-the-job training on employee performance at PT. Pos Indonesia Regional VI Makassar 90004. The study employs a quantitative approach using a causal-associative research design to examine the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The sample consisted of 57 respondents representing the entire population of employees. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale to measure respondents’ perceptions regarding digital competencies, on-the-job training, and employee performance. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings reveal that digital competencies and on-the-job training have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Employees with better digital capabilities and adequate job training tend to demonstrate higher levels of effectiveness, productivity, and work quality. These findings indicate that strengthening digital competencies and implementing sustainable on-the-job training programs are essential strategies for improving employee performance amid the challenges of digital transformation. Therefore, companies are encouraged to continuously develop employee digital skills and provide relevant training programs to support organizational performance and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of lifestyle on financial decisions through financial literacy as a mediating variable among Management students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. The research is motivated by the increasing influence of lifestyle trends and consumption patterns among university students, which may affect their ability to make sound financial decisions. This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory causal design to examine both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique and consisted of 100 student respondents who met predetermined criteria. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to the participants. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate that lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on financial literacy, and financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial decisions. Furthermore, financial literacy is proven to mediate the relationship between lifestyle and financial decisions. These findings suggest that financial literacy plays a crucial role in guiding students’ lifestyles toward more rational, responsible, and wise financial decision-making behavior.
