Focus and Scope Jurnal Riset Sosial Humaniora dan Pendidikan merupakan wadah publikasi ilmiah yang berfokus pada hasil penelitian, kajian teoritis, dan pemikiran konseptual di bidang Ilmu Sosial, Humaniora, dan Pendidikan. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk memperluas wawasan akademik, mendorong inovasi penelitian, serta memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan praktik sosial di Indonesia. 1. Abstract

Happiness and motivation to learn mathematics are a must for students. With happiness in a student, it can create a sense of pleasure when doing something and motivation to learn mathematics needs to be in the student as well, with motivation or encouragement, learning will be more enthusiastic and enthusiastic, especially in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to see the correlation between happiness and motivation to learn mathematics in class V SDN 17 Pekanbaru. This study is a quantitative study with a correlational method and a population of 114 and a sample of 55 people. The results of the study showed a relationship between the two variables with a significance of 0.000 and a Pearson correlation value of 0.760 and a contribution from the variable of 58%, which means that happiness has a contribution of 58% to motivation to learn mathematics and the remaining 42% is influenced by other factors. This study is expected to provide the best solution that educators can do when teaching mathematics in the classroom.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how subjective well-being is in teachers who actively teach at PKB Berdiakri. The approach used was a qualitative method with regular interviews and observations. The results of the study revealed that PKBM Bersdikari teachers have sufficiently reflected subjective well-being in their daily lives.

Abstract

Garbage is a problem that often occurs everywhere. One example is in Tanjungpinang City with various types of waste problems, one of which is plastic waste. For this reason, it needs to be handled seriously. One of the measures that has been carried out by the Tanjungpinang City government regarding the handling of plastic waste is to create a Tanjungpinang Mayor regulation policy no. 14 of 2022 concerning reducing the use of plastic bags. This regulatory policy was implemented on July 7 2022 and the policy of this regulation has been in place for approximately 2 years now. However, the results of implementing this policy regulation are still not as expected, with the data that has been presented in the background proving that every year there is an increase and plastic waste is in second place among the number of types of waste that exist. For this reason, this research aims to evaluate all forms of activities in implementing this policy using a descriptive qualitative approach according to the evaluation theory of Abdulkahar Badjuri & Teguh Yuwono (2002) which consists of 4 indicators, namely: suitability evaluation, effectiveness evaluation, efficiency evaluation and meta evaluation. Based on this theory, this research hopes that in the future this problem can be resolved and that regulatory policies run as expected so as to produce the desired results.

Abstract

Bangli Regency created an e-government based public complaints program called Bangli Era Baru 24 Hour Fast Service. Implementation of this program builds synergy among all public service delivery organizations, one of which is Perumda Air Minum Tirta Danu Arta. However, in implementing this synergy there are still various problems. This research aims to determine the extent of the synergy in handling complaints about clean water services in Bangli Regency from an electronic government perspective and analyze the influencing factors. This research applies descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results show that the synergy between Diskominfosan and Perumda Air Minum Tirta Danu Arta in handling clean water service complaints has gone well. The support and value elements have been fulfilled because there is clear regulatory support, stakeholder commitment, and benefits felt by the community and stakeholders. However, there are elements of capacity that have not been met because there are challenges such as limited human resources and a minimal budget for managing complaint channels. The recommendations include increasing human resource capacity, better budget allocation, and optimizing outreach to increase community participation. Kabupaten Bangli menciptakan sebuah program pengaduan masyarakat berbasis e-government yang bernama Layanan Cepat 24 Jam Bangli Era Baru. Implementasi program tersebut membangun sinergi seluruh organisasi penyelenggara layanan publik, salah satunya adalah Perumda Air Minum Tirta Danu Arta. Namun dalam pelaksanaan sinergi ini masih memiliki berbagai permasalahan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana sinergi penanganan pengaduan pelayanan air bersih di Kabupaten Bangli dari sudut pandang electronic government dan menganalisis faktor–faktor apa yang mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sinergi antara Diskominfosan dan Perumda Air Minum Tirta Danu Arta dalam menangani pengaduan pelayanan air bersih telah berjalan baik. Elemen dukungan (support) dan manfaat (value) sudah terpenuhi karena terdapat dukungan regulasi yang jelas, komitmen pemangku kepentingan, dan manfaat yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat maupun para pemangku kepentingan. Namun, terdapat elemen kemampuan (capacity) belum terpenuhi karena terdapat tantangan seperti terbatasnya sumber daya manusia dan minimnya anggaran untuk pengelolaan kanal pengaduan. Pemberian rekomendasi mencakup peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, alokasi anggaran yang lebih baik, dan optimalisasi sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and determine efforts to improve teacher performance at State Senior High School 3 Rambang Kuang, Ogan Ilir Regency. Data collection tools used interview methods, documentation, observation and literature review. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study stated that efforts to improve teacher performance at State Senior High School 3 Rambang Kuang were carried out by planning a performance improvement program, scheduling several activities to improve teacher performance and evaluating the implementation of the performance improvement program based on performance achievement criteria, namely student learning achievement. There are several obstacles in efforts to improve teacher performance both internally and externally such as financial and infrastructure limitations, teacher competence, and stakeholder involvement. The solution to several obstacles faced is by implementing academic supervision and participating in training activities to improve teacher professionalism.

Abstract

As Indonesia’s foundational ideology, Pancasila promotes national unity by encouraging tolerance and inclusivity among its people. This study explores how students at Politeknik Bhakti Kartini comprehend and apply Pancasila principles in their daily lives, particularly concerning cultural diversity and tolerance. Adopting a qualitative descriptive method, this research analyzes student perspectives through surveys and thematic evaluations. The results suggest that while students possess a solid theoretical grasp of Pancasila, challenges persist in translating these values into practical actions, particularly in fostering inclusivity and countering digital misinformation. This study highlights the need for adaptive teaching methods, interfaith and intercultural discussions, and enhanced digital literacy programs to strengthen students’ application of Pancasila values. By integrating experiential learning and encouraging proactive engagement, higher education institutions can cultivate a more inclusive and tolerant academic environment.

Abstract

Kedai Susu tuli (K-SULI) are sociopreneurship that located in Jember Regency. K-SULI serves as a place for a tuli person, or those knows as hearing difable to develop their entrepreneurial skills. through direct practice. K-SULI also became a place to community service program carried out by Program Mahasiswa Berdesa 2024 (Promahadesa) team of Jember University, aimed at introducing deaf culture particularly sign language in transactional activities. The Promahadesa team conduct their community services using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, a community empowerment that leverage K-SULI potencial to implements. The result of this initiative taken Promahadesa include the expansion of K-SULI partnership, recruitment and training of employees, development of standart operation for transaction (SOPT), product Innovation, both offline and online social marketing, and introduction for sign language through Belajar Bahasa Isyarat Asik (BERBISIK).

Abstract

Manga, or Japanese comics, are becoming increasingly popular among Indonesian boys and can be easily found online. Fujoshi refers to female fans and fundashi refers to male fans of the “boys love” genre, which is characterized by romantic comedies involving male protagonists in media such as literature, anime, and video games. The intensity of reading a particular “boys love manga” genre and a favorable view of homosexuality are the focus of this study. A correlation coefficient of 0.227 was obtained, indicating a weak but positive relationship of 22.7%, between the two variables in this study using a quantitative correlational method. A total of 351 participants in this study were tested for their hypotheses using the Pearson Product Moment correlation. Individual attitudes can be shaped by many factors, including their own life experiences, the opinions of influential people in their lives, cultural norms, the media, the education system, religious organizations, and even their own emotions. All those who took part in this study found a positive interpretation of homosexuality that brought tolerance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of ustadz in religious development of the Muslim community in Dusun II, Tuntungan II Village, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The Ustadz has a central role in guiding the community in religious matters, both through teaching, guidance in worship, and strengthening morals and Islamic values. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. This research found two things; Firstly, in the social structure of the Tuntungan village community, the ustadz has an important position, not only as a spiritual leader who provides religious guidance, but also as the main pillar in maintaining social harmony and strengthening religious values ​​in society. Second, the Ustadz plays an important function in cultivating Islamic teachings in the practice of daily life, he acts as a catalyst for change in society, as well as penetrating various social problems faced by society. Therefore, there is a need for further support from various parties, including the government and religious organizations, to strengthen the role of ustadz in religious formation

Abstract

This article discusses the social guidance program carried out by adolescent victims of domestic violence with the aim of increasing their self-confidence at Putra Utama Children's Home 3. In empowering these adolescents, PSAA Putra Utama creates a social guidance program, in which there are various approaches, including daily assistance, positive reinforcement, individual counseling, and skills training. The type of approach in this research uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of the study revealed that the social guidance program carried out by PSAA Putra Utama 3 can improve. increase adolescents' self-confidence, which is reflected in progress in social interaction, personal motivation, and life goal setting. The adolescents showed significant improvements in adaptability and living a better social life. However, another thing that must be improved is regarding the indicators of the success of empowerment, PSAA Putra Utama 3 has not fulfilled having specific indicators to systematically evaluate the program. This research provides an overall picture of the success of the program and shows the need for the development of evaluation indicators to ensure the empowerment program can be further optimized.
