Historiography means the writing of history based on the critical examination of sources, the selection of particular details from the authentic materials in those sources, and the synthesis of those details into a narrative that stands the test of critical examination. Historiography studies cover chronologically various themes, such as local history, social history, cultural history, economic history, political history, military history, intellectual history, environmental history, and other historical studies. History of education is a study of the past that focuses on educational issues. These include education systems, institutions, theories, themes and other related phenomena in the past. History education includes studies of how history teaches in school or society, curriculum, educational values in events, figures, and historical heritage, media and sources of historical learning, history teachers, and studies of textbooks.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the politics of Soekarno movement during his exile in Bengkulu in 1938-1948. The research method used in this research is historical research there are heuristic, source criticsm, interpretation and historiography. The results showed that the political movement of Soekarno during his exile in Bengkulu in 1938-1942, among others, Soekarno succeeded in instilling influence and spreading the idea of nationalism in various activities. In the Muhammadiyah organization, Soekarno succeeded in holding a conference throughout the Sumatran Muhammadiyah which was named the Daeratul Kubra Conference which had the aim in addition to improving the quality of education and teaching Soekarno also conveyed messages of nationalism, led and made theater texts which had the meaning of the conditions for struggle and nationalism understanding smart debate club as a forum for critical thinking of the people of Bengkulu, besides that Soekarno was also the pioneer and unifier of the Bengkulu people in the process of renovating the Jamik Bengkulu Mosque.

Abstract

Philosophy is a science that we often hear and is one of the most basic sciences in life. Philosophy is the art of asking questions in life. The question posed by philosophy is unique because the aim is not to get an answer but to be able to explore other questions from the problem being asked. Various philosophical thoughts, one of which is the Dialectical Philosophy which was initiated by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel. This study uses a historical method consisting of heuristic stages, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of the research show that the events of the Diponegoro War have relevance to Hegel's dialectical philosophy. This is reflected in the existence of thesis, synthesis and antithesis elements in the event. The interests of the Dutch led to royal resistance. The resistance is the people's response to inappropriate policies. This condition is called a thesis. This conflict also gave birth to a strategy of resistance tactics which was later called antithesis.

Abstract

Education is one of the manifestations of the implementation of the objectives of the Republic of Indonesia contained in the 4th paragraph of the 1945 Constitution which reads "... to educate the life of the nation ...". National Education is regulated in Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System (Wahyudi, 2012: 2), Renewal of education continues to be carried out to produce people who are of high quality, good personality and have extensive knowledge. In education known as learning activities, there are terms of educators (teachers) and students. Educators are people who are responsible for the ongoing process of education, while students are educated people. The use of modules is considered suitable to help teachers play an important role in the learning process. Modules are rated as effective and efficient teaching materials considering the increasing number of things students must learn, while school hours do not increase. Modules are a set of subject matter arranged systematically with easy-to-understand sentences, so that students can learn independently. In addition, the module is also equipped with student worksheets, so students can evaluate their learning outcomes themselves through the modules provided. In connection with the 2013 curriculum provisions which prioritize attitude assessment, the authors would like to develop historical teaching materials in the form of religious value-based modules in Palembang 1 State Islamic Senior High School that relate the verses of the Koran and hadith to the material taught. The development of teaching materials is expected to be able to encourage students to get closer to the Koran, increase their interest in learning, and have a high curiosity about science, and be able to find lessons learned from a historical event.

Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama is one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia. This organization was born of course from the big figures who oversee it, one of them Mahbud Djunaidi. His political abilities are obtained from various organizational experiences and abilities in writing. The problem raised in this research is how the political history of Mahbub Djunaidi as a political activist of Nahdlatul Ulama in 1960-1987. Based on these problems, this study aims to describe the political journey of Mahbub Djunaidi (1960-1987). Based on the problems and objectives of the research, the method used is the historical method which consists of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography stages. The results of the study show that Mahbub Djunaidi has the concept of khittah plus. Political democracy in the style of Mahbub Djunaidi is the ideal of democracy which is fought for through political lines.

Abstract

Child protection institutions are the 'home' for every child's problems that should be protected by the state. Constitutionally, the strengthening of child protection is based on the Act on Child Protection in 2002. The problem in this research is how the initial process and dynamics faced by child protection institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the birth and dynamics of child protection institutions in Indonesia (1997-2016). The method used is the historical method consisting of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study indicate that 1997 is considered a milestone for the birth of child protection institutions in Indonesia, namely the establishment of GNPA by Suharto. To fulfill legal legality, LPA was formed through the Ministry of Social Affairs. This institution changed its name to Komnas PA in 1999. Based on the 2002 Child Protection Act, the KPAI was formed. The name change of child protection institutions in Indonesia since 1997-2002 is one of the efforts to legalize child protection institutions. Various problems regarding children are one of the dynamics that characterize child protection institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Teaching materials are needed in the process of delivering knowledge in the classroom so that the learning objectives are achieved following the curriculum used. One of the teaching materials prepared for the high school students on Indonesian History subject is the Wall Chart. This research method is the development of teaching materials ranging from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This teaching material is about the struggle against the threat of rebellion such as DI/TII in West Java. The rebellion was initiated by an activist named S. M. Kartosuwiryo who was an Islamization figure who wanted Indonesia to become the Islamic State of Indonesia. The ideological difference between the Islamic group and the nationalist group triggered the rebellion. Based on the study of interesting Wall Chart teaching materials, it is useful to help the learning process of students so that they can understand historical material easily.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Nurul Islamic Boarding School in Seribandung Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir District. The formulation of the problem is (1) how the development of Nurul Islam Islamic boarding schools (2) how the role of Islamic boarding schools in the development of education in Ogan Ilir, (3) how the pattern of education applied by pesantren in the development of education in Ogan Ilir and (4) how the pesantren impacts on development education at Ogan Ilir. This study uses historical methods. The research steps are heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study were the role of the Nurul Islam Seribandung Islamic boarding school in the education sector in Ogan Ilir and South Sumatra districts. This pesantren provides Islamic-based education to children without having to go out of town. The santri are equipped with social sciences such as jannies, lectures, marhaban, which are methods of developing da'wah in the Ogan Ilir community. The Islamic Boarding School Nurul Islam experienced a peak in 1970 to 1980 with a number of 2,678 santri to 1,236 santri. Nurul Islam boarding school has succeeded in completing santri with sufficient religious knowledge. The alumni succeeded in establishing Islamic boarding schools in their area and became great scholars. Changes in people's lives follow the pattern applied by Nurul Islamic boarding schools, ranging from changes in morals, life, and awareness to charity.

Abstract

This study entitled "Economic Development of the Community of Rantau Karya Village in Air Sugihan Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in 2011-2017" with three problem formulations namely: how the development of palm oil and rubber production in Rantau Karya Village in 2011-2017, how the palm distribution process and rubber in Rantau Karya Village in 2011-2017 and How do palm and rubber consumption activities in Rantau Karya Village in 2011-2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the economic development ofthe people of Rantau Karya Village, Air Sugihan Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, 2011-2017 which focused on Rantau Karya Village in 2011-2017. The methodology used in this study is a historical method with steps: heuristics, criticism of sources, interpretation, historiography and in-depth interviews with community leaders in Rantau Karya Village. While the approach used is an economic, sociological and geographic approach, based on the results of research, it is found that the economic life of the community includes three aspects, namely in the fields of production, distribution and consumption. While the economic development seen is the development of agriculture in the plantation sector, namely oil palm and rubber plantations. Palm and rubber are the main income of the local community, this is in line with the increasing level of welfare of the people of Rantau Karya Village.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Effect of Application of Problem Based Learning Learning Model to Learning Motivation and Student Learning Outcomes in Class XI Historical Subjects at Tanjung Raja 3 Public High School". The problem in this thesis is whether there is the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning learning model to learning motivation and student learning outcomes in class XI history subjects at Tanjung Raja 3 Public High School. While the purpose of this study is to improve the learning process in order to increase learning motivation and student learning outcomes. The sample in this study was class XI Natural Sciences namely class XI IPA2 as the experimental class and XI IPA1 as the control class using Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires / questionnaires and tests / questions. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data normality test, data homogeneity test, and two-way ANOVA test with a significant level of F_count> F table with a real level (α = 0.05). Based on the results of data analysis of the three existing problems, the results of F_kol = 2.31> 2.26 (Significant), F_bar = 5.09> 3.89 (Significant), F_int = 3.22> 2.26 (Significant). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model influences learning motivation and student learning outcomes in class XI history subjects at Tanjung Raja 3 Public High School.

Abstract

South Sumatra has a unique local wisdom, one of which is the Cultural Guritan the hereditary inherited or preserved by Besemah Tribe. Guritan an ancient literary form of poetry that characterized the old or classic literature that are anonymous ie without the author's name or authors. The contents of this Guritan contains many moral values, advice, custom rules, the voices of conscience and portraits of human nature, heroism, and the rest of the kingdom in the past, which can be learned by humans as the demands of life. One Besemah community effort to preserve this culture which is a way to introduce this culture to the children of both formal and non-formal as heir to the young generation of the nation of Indonesia.
