Historiography means the writing of history based on the critical examination of sources, the selection of particular details from the authentic materials in those sources, and the synthesis of those details into a narrative that stands the test of critical examination. Historiography studies cover chronologically various themes, such as local history, social history, cultural history, economic history, political history, military history, intellectual history, environmental history, and other historical studies. History of education is a study of the past that focuses on educational issues. These include education systems, institutions, theories, themes and other related phenomena in the past. History education includes studies of how history teaches in school or society, curriculum, educational values in events, figures, and historical heritage, media and sources of historical learning, history teachers, and studies of textbooks.

Abstract

This research entitled "Development of Education in Palembang In Year 1942-1950" The problems in this research is How Education in Palembang in 1942-1950 and How Development of Education in Palembang in 1942-1950. In accordance with the problem the purpose of this study is intended to know more clearly how the education in Palembang in 1942-1950, and how the development of education at the time. The methodology used in this study is the historical method. From the results of this study it is found that the education that opened in Palembang in the Japanese period is not much, where the schools in the Netherlands that the number is not sufficient by the Japanese increasingly reduced, because the military government of Japan gave little attention to education in this area when compared with Java. The schools that existed during the occupation of the Japanese army were organized by the Japanese government and organized by private bodies such as Taman Siswa, Muhammadiyah, Methodist (Zending), Catholic (Mission) and local religious scholars. In the Japanese era Zending and Mission schools were forced to close, as Methodist schools used the English language of instruction, while the Catholic schools of teachers were mostly Dutch. In general, education in early independence is strived to match and approach the education system in developed countries. During the transition between 1945-1950, South Sumatra experienced difficulties in both socioeconomic, political and cultural fields, including education. Of the number of school-age children only a few percent who can enjoy the school, so the remaining 90% of the population of South Sumatra, especially Palembang are still many who are illiterate.

Abstract

This research has titled “the development of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) branch of Palembang in 2000-2015 (material contribution in the national histori of Indonesia VII). This study aims to determine the development of radio Republik Indonesia branch Palembang in the field of organization. To know the role of radio Republik Indonesia branch Palembangand the development of radio Republik Indonesia Palembang branch in the field of quality improvement of broadcasting. The method used in reseacrh is the historical method through heuristic stages, source criticism dividen into external criticism and internal critic, interpretation and historiography, and using sociological approach and political approach. The result of this research explains the development of radio Republik Indonesia and programa owned radio Republik Indonesia, explaining the role of radio Republik Indonesia branch of Palembang and efforts made to improve the quality of radio broadcasting Republik Indonesi branch Palembang based on the results of this knowins that the radio Republik Indonesia branch Palembang has function research as a medium used to get information, preserve the culture and media that has a role in improving the quality of education.

Abstract

Perjanjian Linggarjati merupakan Perjanjian yang muncul setelah Belanda melakukan serangan pasca diumumkan kemerdekaan Indonesia 17 Agustus 1945. Belanda yang tidak mengakui kemerdekaan Indonesia berusaha untuk merebut dan menegakkan wilayah kekuasaan di Indonesia. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk menguraikan Perjanjian Linggarjati. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk perjuangan bangsa Indonesia melalui Perjanjian Linggarjati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah yang terdiri dari tahapan heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaalam perjanjian Linggarjati, wilayah Indonesia yang diakui oleh Belanda meliputi Jawa, Sumatera, dan Madura. Belanda juga membentuk negara boneka untuk mempersempit ruang gerak Republik Indonesia. Kesimpulannya, yaitu: Perjanjian Linggarjati membuat wilayah kekuasaan Republik Indonesia semakin sempit yang hanya sebatas Jawa, Sumatera, dan Madura. Untuk mempersempit ruang gerak Republik Indonesia, Belanda membentuk negara boneka. Perjanjian Linggarjati diakhiri dengan perjuangan bangsa Indonesian dalam merebut kemerdekaan

Abstract

Ditetapkan sebagai Pahlawan Nasional oleh Presiden Soekarno di tahun 1963, Tan Malaka hingga saat ini masih menjadi pahlawan yang “redup”. Keterlibatannya dalam tubuh Partai Komunis Indonesia (PKI) di masa Hindia Belanda telah menempatkan Tan Malaka pada posisi sulit, mengingat keberadaan PKI yang telah mengukir sejarah kelam di era kemerdekaan. Padahal, jika memperhatikan ide dan gagasan Tan Malaka yang tertuang dalam banyak karyanya, maka selayaknya ia dijuluki sebagai Bapak Republik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah kiprah Tan Malaka dalam pergerakan nasional dah mengekplorasi titik kontroversi Tan Malaka. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang terdiri dari tahap heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa titik kontroversial Tan Malaka terletak pada keterlibatannya di tubuh PKI masa Hindia Belanda, namun demikian Tan Malaka adalah seorang nasionalis yang konsisten memperjuangkan cita-cita kemerdekaan Indonesia melalui ideologi yang diyakininya. Adanya larangan ajaran Marxisme-Komunisme pasca pemberontakan PKI di tahun 1965 membuat Tan Malaka semakin terpinggirkan sebagai pahlawan nasional, selama Orde Baru namanya tidak terdapat dalam buku-buku pelajaran di sekolah maupun dalam Album Pahlawan Nasional, hal ini menjadi kontroversi atas keterlibatnnya di tubuh PKI. Namun, Era Reformasi menunjukkan sebuah kemajuan, buku-buku karangan Tan Malaka kembali dicetak dan banyak ilmuan mulai serius menyelami sosok Tan Malaka, terutama berkenaan dengan pemikiran dan gagasannya.

Abstract

This research entitled '' Development of Social Economic Life of Transmigrant Community in Desa Karya Mulya Sub-district of Rambang Kapak Tengah Town of Prabumulih year 1986-2016 '' as for the purpose of this research is to know the development of social life of transmigrant community in Prabumulih Karya Mulya city year 1986-2016 and to know the development of the economic life of transmigrant communities in the village of Karya Mulya Prabumulih city in 1986-2016. The methodology used in this study is the historical method with steps: heuristic, source critic, interpretation, historiography and in-depth interviews with community figures in the village of Karya Mulya. While the approach used is the sociology and economic approach, based on the results of research, it is found that the social life of the community of Mulya covers the Social Interaction, the Associative Process and the Dissociative Process as well as the development of the village of Karya Mulya seen after the city of Prabumulih became the definitive city, for the village of Karya Mulya easier to manage the Administration due to the distance is quite close. While the development in the field of economy includes the development of palm oil, rubber farming and seasonal crops covering the development of production and distribution of this is in line with the increasing level of welfare of the people of the village of Karya Mulya evidenced by the number of Permanent buildings.

Abstract

Keberagaman kebudayaan yang dimiliki masyarakat daerah dapat dilihat dari rumah adat yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat seperti rumah adat Kajang lako di Jambi. Rumah adat ini memiliki arsitektur unik sebagai kearifan lokal di Provinsi Jambi. Adapun permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai nilai-nilai kearifan lokal rumah adat Kajang lako. Tujuan penelitian untuk menguraikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terdapat pada rumah adat Kajang lako di Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif naratif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang fakta-fakta yang ada yang diproses dengan ditelaah secara faktual, akurat, dan sistematis. Dalam proses teknik pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selain termasuk sebagai kekayaan lokal dan bagian dari cerminan multikultural, kajang lako memiliki nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang tepat untuk diterapkan yaitu nilai historis, religius, kekeluargaan, gotong royong dan kerjasama

Abstract

Pandemi Covid 19 mengubah tatanan kehidupan normal menjadi new normal. Berbagai aktivitas sektor kehidupan mulai dari pemakaian masker, cuci tangan, peraturan jarak jauh menjadikan Museum siginjei merevitalisasi aktivitasnya dalam pelayanan terhadap masyarakat dari normal menjadi new normal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui revitalisasi Museum Siginjei sebagai wahana interaksi budaya di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode sejarah yang melalui empat tahapan, yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, historiografi. Sumber yang dipakai berupa sumber primer yang berasal dari buku, jurnal, berita dan wawancara yang berkenaan dengan judul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Museum Siginjei mengalihkan pelayanan konvensionalnya kelayanan dalam bentuk digital seperti pelayanan online lewat facebook, instagram, dan youtube. Museum Siginjei juga melakukan re-inventarisasi dan re-registrasi koleksi yaitu berupa nomor yang rusak karena pengaruh udara dan juga keterangan koleksi yang masih berubah. Berbagai koleksi yang telah di inventarisasi dan dimasukkan dalam data base. Selanjutnya palayanan dilaksanakan melalui virtual, sehingga masyarakat dapat menikmati berbagai koleksi museum Siginjei sebagai bentuk produk budaya lokal lokal Jambi. Revitalisasi pemanfaatan museum melalui digitalisasi era pandemi ini, menjadi wahana interaksi budaya. Melalui digitalisasi tidak hanya menjangkau pengunjung yang berada di daerah lokal tetapi juga dari berbagai wilayah diluar Provinsi Jambi.

Abstract

The Indonesian War of Independence that occurred in the period 1946-1949 caused many war victims to become disabled. This research will discusses how the next struggle of the soldiers who became disabled as a result of the war of Indonesian Independence (1946-1983). This study aims to describe the formation and development of disabled organizations for Indonesian independence fighters in their efforts to continue to be useful to the country and to improve the lives of their members in the period 1946-1983. This study uses historical research methods with the stages of heuristic research, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study indicate that the establishment of a disabled organization for freedom fighters in 1946 in Malang under the name of the Indonesian Invaliden Association was motivated by efforts to empower and prosper the disabled victims of the war of independence and in its development until 1983 showed that this organization contributed to its members, namely getting welfare and providing opportunities for continue to be useful to the country.

Abstract

Indonesia as an independent country has aspirations of being independent, especially in the economic field. The steps taken include nationalizing various vital public buildings owned by foreigners with compensation payments. This study aims to analyze the path taken by the government to nationalize Dutch-owned companies. This study uses the historical method which consists of five steps: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of the study show that the nationalization of companies started from the period of the national movement leading to the concept of Indonesianization referring to Law Number 86 of 1958 concerning the Nationalization of Dutch- Owned Companies. The nationalized companies are engaged in agriculture and plantations, trade, industry and mining, banking, electricity and gas, transportation, and construction. The effects of nationalization were in the form of capital outflows, shaky balance sheets, and company administration. Companies that were nationalized in their journey turned into BUMN.

Abstract

Starting from a problem in the school environment related to the event held by the school regarding the youth oath event which was limited to celebrating it without interpreting the values of the youth oath in the activity. So that in this study, it has the aim of being able to determine the level of understanding of SMAN 18 Jakarta students in understanding the contents of the youth oath incident as a role in shaping character. This study uses the Mixed Methods method with the Sequential Explanatory model type. Then the data collection technique was by distributing questionnaires to students of SMAN 18 Jakarta as the research sample. The results show that the understanding of the role of youth oath values in shaping the character of students of SMAN 18 Jakarta understands the meaning of the content in the youth oath incident with a data percentage of 67.7% expressing understanding of the values contained in the youth oath. As a millennial generation, it should be able to implement an understanding of the values of the youth oath so as to increase the sense of nationalism in the millennial generation.
