Abstract

This study aimed to identify the relationship and contribution percentages between special physical fitness elements (explosive strength, speed strength, speed endurance, strength endurance) and basic football skills (long distance shooting, dribbling, long pass, heading) in advanced players at Zakho Sports Club. The sample consisted of 15 players who were tested on the fitness elements and skills. The results showed significant correlations between explosive strength and shooting/heading skills; speed strength and dribbling; and strength endurance and heading. Explosive strength had the highest contribution to shooting (48%) and heading (43%). Speed strength contributed most to dribbling (76%). Strength endurance contributed highly to heading (30%). The findings can help guide training efforts and program design for optimal development of key football skills.

Abstract

This paper presents a critical analysis of “FLOWER AND KNIFE” by Ahmed Yasir Dhain. It was written in 2020. The play represents two couple of notions “love and hate” “flower and knife". Those notions are represented by the number of characters who reflect our views about life. The writer has shown contrastively those notions, which would be in contrastive till unknown time. The study is based on cognitive metaphor analysis, especially the conceptual metaphor. Since the analysis of conceptual metaphor has an important role in discovering the attended messages and the real meaning of the dramatic text through the mapping between the source domain and the target domain. It is also important to discover the ability of the writer to add some new concepts and change the existing ones. The study follows Kövecses' 2002 Conceptual Metaphor Model. It deals with the three types of cognitive metaphor, they are structural, orientational, and ontological. The study is qualitative, it attends to describe and analyze the data critically. It shows how different discourse structures can be critically analyzed by cognitive perceptions. The study aims to analyze the conceptual metaphor as a critical tool. It tries to discover the language's role in constructing concepts through using dramatic devices, especially conceptual metaphors. It aims to criticize the concepts of love, hate, flower, and knife and how they can influence our thoughts and construct new ones. It also aims to find out the connection between conceptual metaphor and critical discourse analysis. Based on the paper literature review and the result of data analysis, the study finds that the play is full of conceptual metaphor expressions which attend to a conceptual change. It shows that the conflict between love and hate is a conflict between man and woman in society. Women can be flowers and knives at the same time. The paper shows that the writer has used all the three types of conceptual metaphor in order to support the love purity which can destroy all hates. He wants to tell us that love can be a source of life.

Abstract

Stimulating early childhood through artistic development and fun play activities has an impact on the development of every aspect of a child's development. This research aims to find out that paper folding art activities via YouTube can improve children's fine motor skills. Researchers used research in the form of class activities with a total of 15 children. Observation of child development uses a checklist form which contains the child's development from not yet developing to developing very well. The conclusion obtained is that paper folding art activities via YouTube can improve children's fine motor skills. Class action research in cycle I reached 66.67%, and in cycle II, these results could increase by 87.62%. This is due to the fact that paper folding using YouTube videos can attract children's attention, make learning more fun, and improve their motor skills.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the influence of the Free Curriculum and Technology-based Learning Media on Digital Literacy. This research is quantitative research with the type of research used in this research is associative research. On data analysis using double linear regression analysis tests and t tests then continued with f tests and desimination tests. The results of the study show that digital literacy has a very good category. In the application of the Free Curriculum is included in the good category and the use of technology-based learning media is in the excellent category. based on the results of a double regression analysis on the simultaneous test between the independent curriculum and the technologically based learning media jointly influenced on digital literature with a F value of 76,752 and a significance value of 0,000.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze efforts to develop inventive thinking skills through science learning in elementary school students. This research is classified as library research. Data comes from literature related to inventive thinking abilities, science learning and elementary school students. After the data is collected and sorted, analysis techniques are carried out using content analysis techniques. The results of the research state that inventive thinking abilities can be developed in science learning by applying varied learning, open questions, applying independent learning and contextual and student-centered science learning. The teacher's role is as a learning designer, motivator and evaluator.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the teachings that shape character and environmental awareness in Hindu religious teachings. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research results reveal that Hindu education provides a solid foundation for people to understand and absorb the teachings of Hinduism in depth. This includes understanding philosophical concepts such as karma (the law of cause and effect), dharma (moral obligation), and moksha (spiritual liberation), as well as various other teachings that help people find the path to perfection. In addition, Hindu religious education encourages spiritual practices such as worship, meditation, and maintaining balance between body, soul, and mind. It helps people grow in positive traits such as patience, wisdom, and inner calm, which are important components of character development. Hindu religious education is very important to instill a sense of love and appreciation in children. Classical Hindu books provide important lessons about the relationship between humans and the universe. Thus, Hindu religious education can be an important pillar in forming a young generation who is ethical, virtuous and cares about the environment. However, to ensure that Hindu religious education is effective in facing the challenges of the times and has a greater positive impact on society as a whole, comprehensive improvement and improvement efforts are needed.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to apply the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning model in increasing student activity in elementary school mathematics learning. The research method used is a classroom action research method that uses the development model by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subjects of this research were 32 class VI students at SD Negeri 207/IV Jambi City. Data was collected using observation techniques, questionnaires and written tests. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research prove that the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model can increase the learning activity of class VI students in the mathematics subject of plane figures. The average results of observing students' learning activity in cycle I was 87.52%, in cycle II it increased to 90.00%, the results of the student learning activity questionnaire obtained an average in cycle I of 60.55% and in cycle II it increased to 89.31%.

Abstract

The global issue appears on the students' problem, especially in remedial learning.The purposes of this study are: (1) to describe the activities of lecturers in classroom management and remedial activities, (2) to describe the activities of students in peer-tutor learning method, (3) to describe students' learning mastery after having remedial activity with the peer-tutor method. The type of this research is action research, consisting of planning, action and observation, reflection, and revision. The action was given in three rounds in the classroom (Classroom Action Research). This research was conducted in STKIP PGRI Jombang, Economic Education Study Program. This research was conducted from August to September 2022. The subject of this research is 44 students of STKIP PGRI Jombang. The object of this study is Break-Even Point (BEP) material. Findings show that the average skill of the lecturer in managing the class and remedial activity in 3 rounds of Classroom Action Research is 3.29% which indicates that the lecturer has succeeded in improving students' achievement.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia are a forum for developing the character of Santri. However, the challenge of achieving optimal character formation requires a comprehensive and planned strategy. The aim of this article is to find empirical evidence and analyze how nidzomul ma'had and punishment influence the formation of Pancasila character in students. The research method applied was a quantitative approach, which involved taking samples from the entire population of students at the Darul Lughah Wal Karomah 2 Islamic Boarding School, which consisted of 34 students. Data collection was carried out through the use of questionnaires, and data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of the analysis show that the formation of the Pancasila character in the female students of Darul Lughah Wal Karomah 2 Islamic Boarding School is strongly influenced by nidzomul ma'had and punishment which is supported by an R-Square value of 0.577.

Abstract

Aim for know ability representation mathematical in finish questions on the material system linear equations of two variables (SPLDV) are reviewed of student self-efficacy class VIII SMPN 1 Praya Timur. As for Sujek in study This consists of 3 of 28 students class VIII which has categories of high self-efficacy, medium self-efficacy and low self-efficacy. Types of research This is study qualitative descriptive. Instruments used​ in study This is questionnaire, question test ability representation mathematics and guidelines interview. Procedure data collection used in study This that is documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques were carried out with method reducing data, presenting data, and interesting conclusion. Checking validity of the data used triangulation technique. Research result show that ability representation mathematical student class VIII SMPN 1 Praya Timur is divided into 3 (three) categories, namely student with high self-efficacy category capable shows 3 aspects ability representation mathematical that is visual representation, representation equality or expression mathematics, and representation of words or text written, whereas student with moderate self-efficacy category only capable shows 2 aspects ability representation mathematical that is representation equality or expression mathematics, and representation of words or text written. Temporary That student with low self-efficacy category only Can shows 1 aspect ability representation mathematical that is representation equality or expression mathematical.
