Abstract

The background of this research is that many teachers only use the lecture method without the help of learning media when learning. This causes students to feel bored and sleepy in learning, in addition to the lack of interest in learning students. Therefore, it is necessary to use learning media that can overcome these obstacles and make learning more interesting and easier to understand. Especially in learning the subject of Science on the Distribution of Flora and Fauna in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to describe the process, validity, and implementation of the development of Canva-based infographic learning media on the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia for grade V students at SDN I Pelem, Campurdarat District. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The results of the study showed validity with an average value of 79.51% with the category "quite valid". Implementation has an average value of 96.78% with the category "media implementation is said to be good". So it can be concluded that the development of Canva-based infographic learning media on the material on the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia for grade V students at SDN I Pelem, Campurdarat District is "quite valid and good" in the learning process.

Abstract

Reading interest is a person's desire for works presented in writing. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of reading interest on the learning outcomes of students at SDN 7 Kampungdalem Tulungagung. This study was quantitative with an ex post facto type. The sampling technique used purposive sampling based on the class level of students with 40 respondents. The data collection technique used a reading interest questionnaire and a Pancasila education learning outcome test. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression test to determine the magnitude of the effect of reading interest on the learning outcomes of Pancasila education. The results of the study showed that the average reading interest of students was 69.76 with a high category and learning outcomes of 65.37 with a fairly good category. Based on the hypothesis test conducted, there was a unidirectional and positive influence between students' reading interest and Pancasila education learning outcomes, with a sig. value of 0.000 and a tcount value of 6.711 greater than 2.024 ttable. The magnitude of the relationship between reading interest and learning outcomes is 0.542. Students' reading interest has a 54.2% influence on the learning outcomes of Pancasila education and 45.8% is caused by other factors that were not studied. It is hoped that through this study, it can provide information and references for further research, especially those that examine students' reading interest.

Abstract

Mathematics is an important subject in basic education, including in junior high schools, which plays a role in developing students' logical, critical, systematic, and creative thinking skills. The material on spatial figures related to the concept of three-dimensional space is often a challenge because it requires visualization and in-depth understanding. This study aims to analyze the mathematical creative thinking skills of junior high school students on spatial figures and the factors that influence them. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. The results of the study show that students' creative thinking skills are still low, caused by monotonous learning and inadequate methods. Several creative strategies for teaching spatial figures, such as the use of physical models, technology and educational games, are proposed to improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills. These findings are expected to help mathematics teachers develop more effective learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of developing mobile-based interactive media in Pancasila Education subjects. The procedure used is research and development with the ADDIE method. The product produced in this study is a mobile-based learning media that includes Bhinneka Tunggal Ika material with local wisdom. The feasibility test obtained a score of 94% from media experts and 95% from material experts, while the evaluation stage involved small group trials with a score of 86% and large group trials with a score of 93%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed mobile-based interactive learning media is very feasible to use in the learning process, showing great potential in increasing the effectiveness of education and the relevance of the application of mobile technology in the educational environment.

Abstract

Having a disciplined character gives great satisfaction and appreciation to a person, because they know that their success is based on dedication and strong commitment to values. Motivation is defined as the driving force from within and outside an individual to carry out certain activities in order to achieve a goal. The location of the study was at SDN 1 Moyoketen School because it has implemented a disciplined character since early on. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of disciplined character on the learning motivation of fourth grade students in Pancasila education learning at SDN 01 Moyoketen. This research method is quantitative research because the data obtained are in the form of numbers and analysis using statistics. The sample of this study was 41 respondents from all fourth grade populations using saturated sampling. In the calculation of the simple regression coefficient, the results showed that it was 0.008 and this value was smaller than 0.050 (0.008 <0.050), it can be concluded that the results of the analysis showed that the t count value (2,797)> t table (2.022) and the significance value was 0.008 <0.050. So it can be concluded that the character of discipline has a positive and significant effect on learning motivation. So this hypothesis is stated that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of application of varied teaching materials in the independent curriculum at SD Negeri 4 Ngentrong. The teaching materials used still use smart agile books. This is the basis for researchers in developing LKPD based on a scientific approach with the help of a liveworksheet application on the material of style for grade IV. The aim is to develop and describe the validity of LKPD based on a scientific approach assisted by liveworksheets on the material of style. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The data collection technique used was a questionnaire, the data collection instrument used a questionnaire sheet for media experts, material experts, language experts, teacher responses, and student responses. The validity of the development of LKPD is determined from the results of validation by media experts, material experts and language experts, the results of the media expert assessment got an average percentage score of 88.75%, the results of the assessment from material experts got an average percentage score of 93%, and the results of the assessment from language experts got an average percentage score of 93.75%. The product development test to (practitioner) class teachers got a percentage score of 95% and the test to users (students) of class IV totaling 19 got a percentage score of 93.42%. So it can be concluded that LKPD based on a scientific approach assisted by liveworksheets is "very valid" and can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of using the Quizizz application on learning outcomes to make the learning process more interactive and innovative. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of approach. The subjects of this research are 1 teacher and 18 fourth-grade students at SDN 7 Kampungdalem. Research instruments use observation guidelines, test questions, and documentation. The data analysis used includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the Quizizz application as a learning media for IPAS lessons on needs and wants for 4th grade at SDN 7 Kampungdalem falls into the very good category. This is evidenced by the implementation of the Quizizz application, which ran according to the instrument validation with a score of 90% on the Likert scale, while the students' learning outcomes received a score of 96%. This application provides satisfaction to its users, including teachers and students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the No What-What English Party extracurricular program at SDN 3 Tanggunggunung. Using qualitative research methods of the case study type. The subjects of this research were extracurricular supervisors, principals, and grade V students.Using data collection techniques of observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model. Based on the results of the study, 1) program planning is based on the Pancasila Student Profile, namely Global Diversity, 2) program implementation is carried out outside the classroom every Saturday, consisting of introductory, core, and closing activities, 3) evaluation is carried out once a month and assessment in the form of descriptions.

Abstract

Effective speaking involves not only linguistic competence but also pragmatic skills, which are often overlooked in traditional language instruction. While previous studies on vlogs in language learning have primarily examined linguistic aspects, the role of pragmatic competence remains underexplored. This study addresses this gap by investigating the impact of vlog-making assignments on pragmatic skill development among English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students, utilizing Speech Act Theory as the theoretical framework. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research analyzed vlogs from five students. The findings revealed that students predominantly used Representatives and Expressives, demonstrating their capacity to convey contextually appropriate observations, opinions, and emotions. These results highlight the potential of vlog-making assignments in enhancing both linguistic and pragmatic communication skills. The study's limitations, notably the small sample size and qualitative design, underscore the need for expanded research with more diverse samples to comprehensively understand how vlog assignments influence pragmatic skill development. Despite these constraints, the research advocates for integrating digital tools in language education and emphasizes the importance of assessment methods that holistically evaluate linguistic and pragmatic competencies.

Abstract

Literacy is one of the skills in children's reading skills. Currently, children are less motivated to read, so applications are needed that support children's reading skills. This research aims to describe the use of the cloud literacy platform in supporting the reading aloud activities of Tunas Gama Kindergarten children in Jepara Regency. The learning journey continues to be innovative and dynamic, children at the Kindergarten level must continue to improve their literacy skills. Literacy skills are very important in building children's intellectual and language culture so that they think correctly and can be held accountable. By providing cloud literacy platform media, it can at least provide something interesting so that children can read interesting story books on the platform. The research approach used is a qualitative study with a narrative study research design. The research was carried out at Tunas Gama Kindergarten in the 2024 academic year with primary data including teachers and children aged 4-6 years. Data collection techniques obtained through observation, documentation studies, and field notes. The research results show that through cloud literacy platform facilities it can at least support children in reading aloud activities on an ongoing basis. The use of cloud literacy media is an effective component in increasing success in children's language development process. The conclusions from the research show that there is a significant influence from the use of the cloud literacy platform in supporting children's reading aloud activities, so that children's literacy skills become significant.
