Abstract

This research is about reading, writing, and counting based on the learning styles of students in class II MIN 6 Ponorogo, this research has the following objectives : 1) analyze calistung based on visual learning stylles, 2) analyze calistung based on auditory learning styles, 3) analyze calistung based on kinesthetic learning styles. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods with descriptive data. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and tests, data analysis techniques use three stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The coclucions in this study are : 1) students with the most dominant visual learning style with a score of 37 the indicators of calistung, he was able to apply it well and preciesely, 2) students with auditory learning styles with a score of 36, he was able to apply these indicators well, but not maximized. 3) kinesthetic category students with a score of 39, he was only able one of the calistung indicators but the orther indicators were not maximized in their application. Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills using the project-based learning model in social science learning in elementary schools. A project-based learning model directs students to complete it directly and places responsibility on students during the learning process by generating critical ideas. It is studied using classroom action research with two cycles, each consisting of two meetings with four stages. Continuous, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collected includes teacher activities, student activities, and data that can provide conclusions about critical thinking skills. The research results show that project-based learning can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in elementary schools; this is proven by calculating the first cycle classical completeness score of 69%. Moreover, there was an increase of 27.59% to 97%. This success was supported by changes and improvements to the learning process following the reflection results in the previous cycle.

Abstract

The discussion about technology, teachers, and critical thinking-oriented learning has evolved into a disposition skill with reasoning and critical pedagogical practices. Critical thinking cannot develop independently but must be fostered and engineered for students' critical reasoning connections to flourish through diverse learning media. This study aims to examine the impact of Mentimeter on critical thinking skills. The research topic is designed primarily for first-semester students. The research method is ex post facto. The data collection method employs a questionnaire that has undergone validation, reliability, normalcy, and homogeneity testing. Abstract

The method of this study was a quantitative approach applying a field study with a quasi-experimental method. This research aimed to describe the comparison of the student’s achievement between gasing and conventional methods in mathematics learning outcomes at class IV of MI Ma'arif NU Banteran. The population was class IV which totalled 78 students. The sample used in this research was class IV A with 27 students as the experimental class and class IV B with 26 students as the control class. The data collection technique used is a test technique, then data analysis includes validity test, normality test, homogeneity test, Wilcoxon test, and N-Gain test. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen from the Wilcoxon test, it was found that differences in learning outcomes for students in the experimental class (gasing) and control class (conventional) obtained positive Ranks with a value of N 50, meaning that the entire sample experienced an increase in learning outcomes from pretest to posttest. Mean Ranks is 25,50 the Asymp. Sig. (2-taled) of 0,000. The Asymp. The sig value is less than 0.05, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Model-Eliciting Activities (MEAs) for learning mathematics based on students’ initial mathematical abilities and school origin. It was conducted at SDN Batujajar 3, SDN Sukamaju and SDS Yayasan Beribu by using a quantitative research approach. The research method used the survey method and Two Ways ANOVA test analysis to determine the relationship between students; initial mathematics learning outcomes, students’ origin school, and students’ initial mathematical abilities with a sample of 81 students. In this study, it was found that in learning using the Model-Eliciting Activities there were differences in students’ mathematics learning outcomes based on students’ school origin, students’ mathematics learning outcomes based on students’ initial mathematical abilities, and there was an interaction between school origin and students’ initial mathematical abilities in determining mathematics learning outcomes. In addition, the interaction that occurred shows that SDS Yayasan Beribu had better than SDN Batujajar 3 and SDN Sukamaju.

Abstract

The implementation of an independent curriculum in schools is closely related to the teacher's ability to compile teaching modules. Teachers are required to have the skills to structure teaching modules effectively. This study aims to answer the formulation of the problem about the Analysis of Teacher Difficulties in Compiling Teaching Modules Based on the Independent Learning Curriculum at SDN 2 Cakranegara Mataram City. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Based on the results of the study, various difficulties faced by teachers were found when compiling teaching modules. There are three difficulty criteria identified in this study, namely: (1) as many as 35% of teachers understand teaching modules and their components; (2) as many as 15% of teachers understand the teaching module but do not understand its components, and (3) as many as 50% of teachers do not understand teaching modules and their components. Faced with conditions like this, every teacher who has difficulty understanding teaching modules is the responsibility of the school to provide guidance and assistance, because the quality of teachers has a significant impact on the implementation of the independent learning curriculum.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive multimedia learning media based on iSpring Suite 9 in thematic learning in class III at SDN Kalideres 12 Pagi. This research uses the Borg and Gall development model. Research subjects in class III of SDN Kalideres 12 Pagi with 32 students. The objectives in developing this media include: 1) to produce interactive multimedia learning media based on Ispring Suite 9 in class III thematic learning, 2) to determine the level of feasibility of interactive multimedia learning in class III thematic learning, and 3) to determine the effectiveness of interactive multimedia learning on the learning outcomes of class III. The results of this research are products in the form of interactive multimedia based on iSpring Suite 9 with validation results from media design experts of 90.27%, material experts of 96.25% in the "very feasible" category, and positive response results in students with a percentage of 93%. Student learning outcomes through the pre-test and post-test showed an increase where the average post-test score was 88.1, higher than the pre-test average score of only 68.1, with an N-gain of 0.63 which is included in the medium categories. Based on these data, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia learning media based on Ispring Suite 9 is feasible and effective for use in class III thematic learning at SDN Kalideres 12 Pagi.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the school's strategy for improving the nationalist character of students at SDN 8 Pena Na'e, Bima City, and the supporting factors for increasing the nationalist character of students at SDN 8 Pena Na'e, Bima City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was carried out at SDN 8 Pena Na'e, Bima City. Data sources from teachers and students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data, triangulation techniques were used. Based on the research results, it was found that the school's strategy for improving students' nationalistic character is: (1) The school involves its students in taking part in the flag ceremony every Monday morning, (2) The school involved students in a cultural parade wearing traditional regional clothing, (3) involvement of students in following beautiful walks, (4) involvement of students in Lenggo cultural dances. It is hoped that this article will contribute to developing a theoretical framework and practical strategies for developing knowledge in Indonesia

Abstract

The effect of the recitation learning method on student's motivation to learn. This study aimed to ascertain the importance of the recitation learning method's impact on the motivation of fourth-grade students at SDN 15 Mataram. The research methodology employed in this study is a quasi-experimental design, namely a non-equivalent control group design. The investigation was conducted in class IV SDN 15 Mataram, with IV A as the experimental class and IV B as the control class. The study employed a saturation sampling strategy, where 40 students were sampled from the population. Specifically, the experimental class consisted of 20 students, whereas the control class had 20 students. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, questionnaire, and documentation. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the results of the t-test conducted t-count are greater than those of the t-table (10.351> 2.024). Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected, and seen from the sig value (Two-Sided p) <0.05 = (0.01 <0.05), then Ha is accepted. Ho is rejected, so as the basic rules for decision making in the independent sample T-test test can be concluded that there is an effect of the recitation learning method to increase the learning motivation of fourth-grade students of SDN 15 Mataram in the 2023/2024 school year.

Abstract

Teachers are one of the spearheads of implementing the curriculum at school. With the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, it is important to know the readiness of teachers in implementing it and the challenges they face. This study aims to describe teachers' readiness to implement the Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mataram City and identify the challenges faced. This research is a phenomenological qualitative research. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Furthermore, the data is analyzed interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Data validity testing was carried out by increasing diligence, triangulation of sources and triangulation of methods. The results showed that the teacher's readiness to implement the Merdeka Curriculum in MI Mataram City was quite good, it just needed to be improved. Various challenges faced by teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum include (1) teachers do not fully understand and are able to develop Merdeka Curriculum learning tools, (2) it takes a long time to be able to compile all learning tools, especially teaching modules and project modules to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile, (3) lack of supporting infrastructure, (4) large number of students for each rombel, (5) inadequate classroom size for differentiated learning, (6) lack of cooperation and parental involvement, (7) teachers have difficulty carrying out diagnostic assessments and preparing varied/different questions for formative assessments and summative assessments according to student learning needs.
