Abstract

Konsep Neuro Science merupakan pemaparan tentang otak ·manusia yang memiliki kemampuan yang luar biasa. Otak manusiaterdiri dari triliunan sel otak dan setiap sci otak tampak sepertiGurita kecil yang begitu komplek. Set otak memiliki sebuah pusatdengan banyak cabang dan setiap cabang memiliki banyakkoneksi. Tiap-tiap set otak tersebuat jauh lebih kuat dan canggihdaripada kebanyakan komputer di dunia ini. Setiap set tersebutberhubungan dengan ratusan ribu sampai puluhan ribu set yanglain dan mereka sating bertukar informasi. Dari triliunan sel otaktersebut, sekitar sepersepuluhnya berisi neuron atau sel saraf aktifyang mampu membuat hingga 20.000 koneksi yang berbedadengan sel-sel lain. Otak manusia memiliki empat bagian pada tigatingkatan yang berbeda dari atas batang otak dan yang keempatterselip di bagian belakang. Otak manusia juga memiliki dua sisiyang setiap sisinya mengontrol fungsi yang berbeda danmemproses informasi dengan cara yang berbeda pula. Konsep tigaotak dalam satu kepala ( otak triune) memberikan pemahamantentang cara kerja otak dalam hubungannya dengan prosespembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran yang memaksimalkan fungsiotak berarti tidak hanya memberdayakan saru belahannya saja,tetapi mengupayakan pemaksimalan keduanya. Sehinggamenghasilkan siswa yang tidak hanya mampu berfikir berurutandan terstruktur tetapi juga mampu berfikir secara divergen, globaldan kreatif.

Abstract

In educational perspective, adult’s purposes for learning are to achieve goals and affirm identity. Therefore, participation in adult learning has positive effects in improving quality of life. In andragogy, learning is not merely knowledge transfer but it also should be able to improve confidence that students are capable to perform well in their life.Andragogy sees students as individuals with self-concept, which is independent. Adults have many experiences that will become rich learning resources. Adult’s readiness to study is relevant to the problem that they face. Learning is oriented to meet their needs.The implications of participative learning strategy are: (1) learning atmosphere is adjusted to the characteristics and needs. Learning atmosphere encourages student to have initiatives and flexible. (2) Students are involved in determining the learning needs and outcome. (3) Learning activities involved students actively. (4) Learning evaluations use more self-evaluation.

Abstract

Penerapan pembelajaran terpadu di Taman Kanak-kanak dan Sekolah Dasar kelas awalyang masih sebagai anak usia dini belum banyak dilaksanakan secara konsekwen.Padahal persyaratan pembelajaran model tematik ini harus dipraktekkan denganpembelajaran terpadu. Para guru boleh memilih model terpadu connected, webbed atauintegrated yang penerapannya sangat mudah dan penataan indikator boleh ditata dalamperencanaan pembelajaran yaitu Satuan Kegiatan Harian di TK dan RencanaPelaksanaan Pembelajaran di SD. Hal ini dilakukan supaya pemaham materipembelajaran secara utuh bukan terpotong-potong sesuai anjuran Kurukulum TingkatSatuan Pendidikan.

Abstract

Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, guru dituntut memiliki kemampuan memilih strategipembelajaran yang tepat. Kemampuan tersebut sebagai sarana serta usaha dalam memilihstrategi untuk menyajikan materi pembelajaran yang tepat dan sesuai dengan programpembelajaran. Untuk memilih strategi pembelajaran, hendaknya berangkat dari perumusantujuan yang jelas, materi pembelajaran, karakteristik siswa dan kondisi pembelajaran. Setelahtujuan pembelajaran ditentukan, kemudian memilih strategi pembelajaran yang dipandang efisiendan efektif. Suatu strategi pembelajaran dikatakan efektif dan efisien apabila dapat mencapaitujuan dengan waktu yang lebih cepat dari strategi yang lain. Kriteria lain yang perludiperhatikan adalah tingkat keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Agar penerapan suatustrategi pembelajaran dapat berhasil dengan baik, maka perlu memperhatikan beberapa faktor.Ada empat faktor yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam pemilihan metode dan strategi, yaitu: 1) isidan tujuan pembelajaran, 2) karakter guru, 3) karakteristik siswa dan 4) lingkunganpembelajaran. Beberapa karakteristik siswa yang perlu diperhatikan dalam penerapan strategipembelajaran, antara lain: bermotivasi berprestasi. Motivasi berprestasi merupakan doronganingin tahu yang dapat dikembangkan selama proses pembelajaran, sikap yang membangun danmendorong untuk meraih hasil belajar, sehingga motivasi berprestasi akan mempengaruhi hasilbelajar siswa. Adanya dorongan dari dalam diri siswa untuk sukses, bekerja keras, meraih hasilbelajar yang lebih baik dan adanya upaya menghindari kegagalan dalam belajar maka siswamenambah keyakinan dan aktivitas belajar untuk meraih hasil belajar yang lebih baik

Abstract

Language is a key element in the communication, the basis for a person toexpress, and development of a variety of information or knowledge.Through the language used, one can know the depth of knowledge andeven their way of thinking. For normal children, the development oflanguage or vocabulary will grow more rapidly through the five senses arerelatively natural. They vocabulary develop through observation, listening,touch, foretaste, and sense of smell. In contrast to children with hearingimpairment, they can not acquire vocabulary naturally due to the loss ofauditory function. For minimize losses due to the loss of the sense ofhearing, the necessary learning strategies to facilitate the acquisition ofvocabulary to children with hearing impairment. Learning strategies thatinclude using a variety of media to be more real and visual or more will betaught as a vocabulary with the help of colors and symbols, using longstrides in instilling the concept first, and use mapping concept.

Abstract

In addition to that, learner's autonomy indicated by learner's ability incollaborating with peers independently brings significant effect onmaximizing the zone of proximal development of the learner 's. The zoneof proximal development is at its best when learner is able to acquirelanguage input which is a step beyond his present languagecompetence. Despite those two huge benefits of developing /earner'sautonomy, teacher ·s· centredness has still, unfortunately, beendominating the teaching and learning practices in Indonesian schools.One of the effective attempts to reduce teacher's centredness and buildlearner's and teacher's autonomy is Computer Assisted LanguageLearning (CALL). By considering the principles in bui!ding learner'sautonomy and the characteristics of CALL, this paper is aimed athighlighting the significant correlation between /earner's autonomyand CALL and the possibilities or criteria in combining the two so as 10create an effective language teaching in classroom.

Abstract

This research is performed to assess the advantages of Program Paket B in supporting efforts to improve the quality of basic education. Through the empowerment of the Program Paket B, learners are expected to become useful and helpful for the society and the state. In addition, the graduates of Program Paket B are also expected to continue their educations to the higher level as a way to improve Indonesian human resources. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. The results show that the empowerment through the Program Paket B is quite fruitful in helping related government institution to improve the quality of basic education

Abstract

This research had a purpose to know whether assessment of achievement (Performance Assessment) was the evaluation implement that comprehensive and as reflection means that could identify the student's capacity in the process of the receipt, the implementation of knowledge and skills in the subject of the foundations of Educational Technology.This research was the research of the class action that took place two cycles. In each cycle was given by the task, afterwards was evaluated and be compared to the results to see the achievement as well as it’s change.The analysis of the data by making use of the quantitative approach afterwards be interpreted qualitatively. This research was carried out by three person, one of among them at the same time as the teacher. Participants in this subject total 29 first semester students, who were divided into two groups; namely the group with the odd and even task.From results of the analysis of the data and it’s discussions, then could be concluded that assessment of achievement (Performance Assessment) gave several functioning benefits as follows: 1) to describe the achievement of the student who helped the lecturer in giving the value of the end that only did not have a basis in results of the exam; 2) as the reflection implement that gave the picture comprehensive concerning the achievement of the student. From results of this conclusion, then was suggested that the use assessment the achievement better be used for the specific tasks, in a sense had the criterion and the aspect that were evaluated clearly.

Abstract

Speaking skills must be controlled by the Primary School students because these skills directly were linked with all the activities learning the student in the Primary School. The success studied the student in joining the process of the activity learning in the school really was determined by their speaking capacity command. Because through the speaking activity the student could reveal the idea, the idea, or results of his thinking to the other person orally so as the other person knew the intention or the idea of the student. The student who could not speak well and truly will experience the difficulty in joining the activity learning for all the subjects. Therefore, the teacher must be able to choose some or united various methods learning that in accordance with the condition for the student and the availability of other supporting means. Moreover, the teacher might also create the new model in the implementation learning speking skills. One of the alternatives that could be carried out in learning speaking skills spoke the student the Primary School was the application of the very polite experience approach in learning speaking skills the student the Primary School.
