Perkembangan teknologi akhir-akhir ini begitu pesat, kemajuan inidapat niemberikan benyak dampak bagi perubahan peradaban dan lajusosial kehidupan· manusbl. Seka.N,mg Jni komputer bukanlah barangyang Iangkah, karena telah banyak. yang telah memiliki dan · dapatmerigoperasikaruiya. Belakangan. ini(pemakaian kornputer tak cum~orang dewasa saja. Anak yang inasil} di tingkat TK-SD pun sudahmeμgenal serta mampu menggunakannya. Namun tak semua program·aplikasi komputer baik dan pas untulc mereka. Keterlibatan orangtuaamat diperlukan untuk mencegah anak terpolusi dampak negatifkomputer ini.Selain dari pengawasan clari orang tua/ pendidik, desainprogram pembelajaran berbantuan komputer haruslah dirancangdengan baik agar sesuai dan te!)at sasaran sesuai dengan tujuanpembelajaran.

Abstract

There are many forms of children 's game in early childhoodeducation. Many of them give children advantages specifically inbrain development.To children, playing is a serious bu1 fim thing. MW!Y works are donethrough playing. Children choose to play not in the purpose ofcomplements or presents but merely beca:1se ii is fun. Playing is themain instrument to exercise for their gro1tth. Playing is a medium,where students make experiments, not only in their mind but for real.Whenever children play freely in their own willingness and capaciry,they are exercising.Playing with music that is intended to introduce language tochildren is one example ofjoyfal learning. This paper briefly exp/Jintechniques on joyful learning that in the end is expected w bringadvantage for children's development as the author stated above.

Abstract

Upaya menghidupkan ruang kelas dalam rangka prngelolaan kelas yang efektifyang diarahkan pada tercapainya tujuan pendidikan memerlukan penyikapanyang simultan dari berbagai pihak yang terlibat dalam proses belajar, tertutamaguru dan peserta belajar. Guru dituntut dapat secara leluasa mengembangkankreativitasnya untuk menciptakan suasana yang kondusif yang memungkinkanpeserta belajar dapat berekspresi dengan leluasa, menyenangkan dan penuhantusiasme serta dapat menangkap esensi berbagai hal yang mereka pelajari. Dipihak lain, peserta belajar juga harus disiapkan untuk terbiasa dalam situasiyang mengandalkan kemandirian dan penuh dengan inovasi sehingga merekatidak lagi secara pasif menunggu dan menyikapi instruksi dari guru. Tanpaperubahan sikap seperti ini dapat dipastikan proses belajar akan tetap tidakberkembang. Di samping itu, aktivitas guru dalam mengelola kelas perlu jugadidukung secara institusional oleh sekolah sebagai lembaga penyelenggaranpendidikan dalam bentuk kebijakan-kebijakan, kemudahan akses informasi,dan dukungan fasilitas belajar yang memadai. Sinergi seluruh komponen inilahyang akan menyuburkan suasana pembelajaran yang aktif dan bermakna dansebagai kunci sukses pengelolaan kelas.

Abstract

Human character mostly affected both by genetic inheritance as well as by theirexperience. The ways in which students develop are shaped by social experienceand circumstances within the contex of their life. The scientific question is justhow students experience and social experience interact in producing humancharacter. In general, science is universal which mean that what is occurred in oneplace also will be occurred in another place. Some values emerged from sciencesuch as honesty, truthfulness, respect other opinion and so on, as a result ofinteraction during science class in classroom setting. In this paper, also will bementioned the role of science in developing character of students especially forelementary school students. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajarAnconstructivist learning cycle dapat dijadikan alternatif untukmeningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna pada mata· kuliah media pembelajaran dan untuk mengetahui bagaimanapenerapan model pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Constructivistleaming cycle yang paling baik dan tepat untuk meningkatkan kualitasperkuliahan mala kuliah media pembelajaran.Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi tindakan kelas dengan subjekpenelitian mahasiswa prodi Tl' sejumlah 25 orang yang mengarn\:iilmata kuliah media pembelajaran. Metode pengumpulan data yangdigunakan yaitu teknik observasi dan tes. Sedang instrumen penelitianyang digunakan adalah catatan observasi dan hasil tes. Analisis datapenelitian menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif.Hasil tindakan dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa 1). modelpembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan constructivist learningcycle dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk meningkatkan kompetensimahasiswa dalam mata kuliah media pembelajaran. 2). denganmencrapkan model pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatanconstructivist learning cycle telah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajarmahasiswa dan kualitas proses pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna.Selain itu dari aspek psikomotor, mahasiswa telah mulai terampil untukmenggunakan beberapa media yang ada seperti media video, audio,OHP, media berprograma, foto, poster, dan CAI (media komputerpembelajaran). Dan dari aspek affektif, siswa akan terlatih untukjujurdengan hasil pengamatannya, dapat bekerja sama dalam kelompok,hati-hati dalam bekerja dan lain-lain.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out about: 1) How Mathsubject for the eleventh grade science class is taught using contextuallearning approach; and 2) Whether contextual learning approach canimprove student’s motivation in learning the subject.This is an action research using several learning methods suchas group discussion and presentation. The data is gathered fromobservation, interview, questionnaire, test and documentation.From this research we find that contextual learning can beapplied for the eleventh grade science class using the seven componentof contextual learning approach: constructivism (Constructivism), ask(Questioning), find (Inquiry), community learning (LearningCommunity), modeling (modeling), reflection (Reflection) andassessment of the actual (Authentic Assessment). The research showsimprovement in student’s learning motivation – the improvement afterthe first cycle is categorized as medium and after the second cycle ishigh, in which all students’ test result is satisfactory. From thisresearch, we conclude that contextual learning approach, whenimplemented correctly, can improve students’ motivation in learningmath subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how far the use of an integrative learning model can improve the quality of the learning machining process learning and to know how far Integrative Learning model can enhance students' learning activities and gains..The study design specified in the form of classroom action research design, which is a collaborative research based on problems that arise in the learning activities in class. This research was conducted at Department of Mechanical Engineering Education, Engineering Faculty, , Yogyakarta State University. This method was applied to D3 students who followed machining process course.Base on the research is cuold be concluded that integratif learning model increased students activeness of 26.7%, and students learning gain of 15.4%.
