Abstract

The crisis of truth in the digital era has given rise to a phenomenon called lost truth, which is a situation in which the boundaries between facts and opinions are blurred due to the dominance of epistemic relativism and the spread of hoaxes. This phenomenon has a serious impact on the moral, spiritual, and social order of society, including in the Christian community. This article aims to analyze how Christian education can play a role as a means of restorative truth in a post-truth culture by reviewing the roots of the philosophy of knowledge, theological perspectives, and relevant pedagogical strategies. This research uses a contextual theological and transformative educational approach, by integrating literature review and interviews from educators, theologians, and church leaders. The results of the study show that epistemic relativism weakens society's orientation towards objective truth and encourages the birth of a culture of information consumption without verification. The church and Christian educational institutions have a central role to restore this orientation through learning that emphasizes moral character building, the strengthening of critical reasoning, and faith-based digital literacy. The proposed model of truth restoration combines three main dimensions: (1) the establishment of the integrity and ethics of biblical truth; (2) strengthening the ability to think critically and discern digital information; and (3) the integration of faith, knowledge, and the practice of daily life. Thus, Christian education is not just a tool for knowledge transfer, but also a spiritual instrument for building a resilient, critical, and God-rooted society in the midst of the global disinformation tide.

Abstract

Fenomena derasnya arus informasi digital di era media sosial menimbulkan tantangan tersendiri karena konten yang tidak terfilter dapat mengaburkan bahkan menyaingi kebenaran Firman Allah. Mazmur 119, sebagai pasal yang menegaskan kemurnian, keajegan, dan keandalan Firman Allah sebagai pedoman hidup, menjadi dasar teologis utama dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis persepsi umat Kristen terhadap kebenaran Firman Allah berdasarkan prinsip Mazmur 119, serta menilai bagaimana informasi digital dapat mendukung maupun mengganggu proses penyampaian kebenaran tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah berupa: (1) pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap delapan narasumber yang terdiri dari pendeta dan pelayan jemaat, (2) transkripsi dan pengelompokan data berdasarkan tema, (3) analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pandangan narasumber mengenai kebenaran Firman Allah dan penggunaan informasi digital, serta (4) penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan temuan lapangan dan kajian literatur. Pemilihan narasumber dilakukan secara purposif untuk memperoleh representasi yang memadai dari berbagai konteks pelayanan gerejawi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas narasumber memandang informasi digital sebagai sarana yang sangat relevan dan strategis dalam menyampaikan Firman Allah di era modern. Namun demikian, mereka juga menekankan adanya risiko signifikan berupa konten rohani yang tidak kredibel, ajaran yang menyimpang, dan hoaks keagamaan yang beredar cepat di media sosial. Karena itu, para narasumber menilai bahwa literasi digital dan kemampuan menilai kebenaran berdasarkan Firman Tuhan merupakan kebutuhan mendesak bagi jemaat masa kini. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Firman Allah harus tetap menjadi tolok ukur mutlak dalam menilai setiap bentuk informasi digital. Gereja perlu memanfaatkan media digital secara bijaksana dan kreatif, sekaligus membimbing jemaat agar mampu menyaring, menguji, dan mengonfirmasi setiap informasi berdasarkan kebenaran Alkitabiah. Dengan demikian, arus digital bukan menjadi ancaman, tetapi justru sarana efektif bagi pewartaan kebenaran yang sejati.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the family in the faith education of children amidst the intensive and increasing use of gadgets and social media. The main questions of this study are: What are the patterns of digital media use by children? What are the digital mediation strategies employed by families? And how do these three aspects—the role of the family, digital mediation, and spiritual content consumption—interact to form the depth of children's faith? The methodology involves a systematic literature review (SLR) to examine the latest research discussing digital parenting, faith formation, and digital religious practices. The results of the study demonstrate that the family holds a fundamental role in faith formation through affective, cognitive, and and practical contributions, which are further strengthened by digital mediation in the form of active mediation, restrictive mediation, and co-use of religious media. Furthermore, the integration of digital spiritual content, as well as proven offline–online hybrid practices, can enrich the process of children's faith education. This research produces a conceptual model that positions the family as the foundation, digital mediation as the connector, and depth of faith as the primary external outcome. This model offers a new perspective that digital media can serve as a space for spiritual formation when directed reflectively and grounded in faith markers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak sosial psikologis kriminalisasi guru terhadap penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif, menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi kepustakaan, adapun sumber data penelitian ini dihasilkan dari buku serta artikel dari jurnal ilmiah yang relevan dengan masalah penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kriminalisasi terhadap guru disebabkan oleh perbedaan sudut pandang antara guru dan orang tua siswa dalam memahami batasan-batasan dalam proses pendidikan. Adapun dampak sosial psikologis dari adanya kriminalisasi guru, mempengaruhi rasa percaya diri seorang guru saat kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung. Kriminalisasi terhadap guru juga mempengaruhi kewibawaan guru di hadapan peserta didik, yang berdampak pada kurangnya pengaruh guru dalam menciptakan kondusifitas saat kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hasil penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan dampak dari kriminalisasi berpengaruh terhadap profesionalitas guru, akibat adanya pembatasan dalam setiap tindakan yang mengarahkan guru menjadi pasif. Kriminalisasi guru juga mempengaruhi interaksi sosial yang terjadi antara guru di sekolah. Guru yang mengalami kriminalisasi mendapat stereotip serta mengalami alienasi dari rekan sejawat. Hal ini mengakibatkan proses peningkatan kualitas guru menjadi terhambat, dan secara umum berdampak pada penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemahaman ketuhanan Yesus Kristus dalam pemikiran Wolfhart Pannenberg dan relevansinya dalam menghadapi tantangan global kontemporer seperti sekularisasi, pluralisme agama, dan relativisme nilai. Pannenberg memahami ketuhanan Yesus secara historis-eschatologis, di mana kebangkitan Kristus menjadi dasar pengakuan bahwa Yesus adalah Tuhan yang menyatakan diri Allah dalam sejarah universal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka terhadap karya-karya utama Pannenberg (Systematic Theology, Jesus—God and Man) dan literatur pendukung baik dari teolog internasional maupun Indonesia seperti Karl Barth, Jürgen Moltmann, Eka Darmaputera, dan Stephen Tong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep ketuhanan Yesus menurut Pannenberg membuka ruang bagi dialog antara iman dan rasio, serta menghadirkan model teologi kontekstual yang mampu menjawab tantangan global dengan tetap berakar pada pengakuan iman kristiani.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the professional commitment of private Vocational High School (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan/SMK) teachers in Depok City using a quantitative approach with a survey design. Teachers’ professional commitment is regarded as a crucial factor influencing instructional quality, professional sustainability, and vocational education performance. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, involving 40 private SMK teachers as respondents. Data analysis employed descriptive and inferential statistics to describe the level of professional commitment and examine the relationship between self-efficacy and teachers’ professional commitment. The results indicate that, overall, teachers demonstrate a high level of professional commitment, particularly in the affective dimension, normative commitment, and identification with professional values. Meanwhile, continuance commitment and professional recognition fall within the moderate category. These findings support the application of the Job Demands–Resources theory as well as Meyer and Allen’s three-component commitment model in the context of vocational education. This study provides practical implications for policy development and programs aimed at enhancing the professionalism of private vocational high school teachers.
