Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the nature of human resources (fitrah, reason, heart and nafs) in Islamic education. The author conducts research using literature study whose subject is literature. The results of the research conducted by the author are that human resources play an important role in the world of education, of course for Muslims, namely in Islamic education. In this study, there are four components of human resources, namely fitrah, reason, qalb, nafs. With these four components, the writer analyzes the essence of Islamic education. The results of this analysis are firstly that human nature is innate from human birth which will eventually become a habit, it can also be interpreted that human nature is to know the oneness of God and understand the religion of Allah, there are four schools that discuss the basic nature and development process, namely, the view of fatalist, neutral view, positive view and dualist view. Both minds are thinking tools possessed by humans as differentiators from other God's creatures, the focal point of the work of reason is the source of thinking in humans to determine or distinguish good and bad things and reason one of its main functions is to strengthen faith in Allah SWT. When the human mind comes from the true knowledge of Islam which is also in accordance with Islamic law, then the human personality is fine, and vice versa. The three hearts are things that are contained in humans that are subtle and function and serve as the deepest sense of all things, both positive and negative. The four nafs are impulses or motivations that exist in humans, the nafs also cannot always be seen as bad in its existence, because even in doing good things, humans involve the nafs in it. So the nafs (urge) will be good if it follows a pure heart and the right mind in accordance with Islamic teachings, while the nafs (urge) will be bad and even misguided if the heart is dirty and reason and bad thoughts dominate in humans.  Keywords: Human Resources, (Fitrah, Intellect, Qalb, Nafs), Islamic Education.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the professionalism of teachers is currently still low, the majority of teachers are less able to adapt to the skills of 21st century teachers, lack of teacher motivation in improving self-quality due to not being able to compete and not ready to keep up with the times and the lack of teacher ability to apply 21st century skills. at SMK Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. The purpose of this study is to find out how the professionalism of teachers in online learning is based on school accreditation at SMK Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. The research method used is a mix method (quantitative and qualitative). The population in this study were 95 students of class X TITL. The sample in this study amounted to 95 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and Respondent's Level of Achievement (TCR). The results showed that the professionalism of teachers on the digital age literacy indicator was 45.71% with a bad interpretation. In the inventive thinking indicator, a value of 46.92% was obtained with a bad interpretation. On the indicator of effective communication obtained a value of 46.92% with a bad interpretation. In the high productivity indicator, a value of 48.07% was obtained with a bad interpretation. Overall, the teacher's professionalism got a score of 46.90% with a bad interpretation. So it can be concluded that the professionalism of teachers in online learning based on school accreditation at SMKN 2 Sungai Full is in a bad interpretation.

Abstract

Counselors, who are trained professionals, guide counselees through the process of guidance. School counselors conduct assessments as part of their services. Without an assessment, it would be impossible for us to determine whether the intended guidance program had been implemented successfully. The evaluation of the guidance program is to determine the degree to which the program's implementation has met its stated objectives. In other words, the outcome of the assessment activities will determine whether the program is successful in reaching its objectives. It cannot be isolated from the supervision actions, according to the assessment that was done. Counseling and direction School supervisors are school supervisors with complete rights, powers, and responsibilities for evaluating, promoting, and implementing education in various schools through guidance and counseling activities. Additionally, the adequacy of the services rendered by the BK teacher/counselor is determined by the factors mentioned above. This indicates that the school counselor can account for the services rendered.

Abstract

This research was conducted on the coordinator of school counselors at state high schools and private high schools in Medan City. This study aims to determine the obstacles experienced by school counselors in the implementation of guidance and counseling service programs. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach and survey methods. The collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire on the Guttman scale. The subjects in this study were 30 school counselor coordinators, including 15 school counselor coordinators at State High Schools and 15 school counselor coordinators at Private High Schools in Medan City. The results of this study showed that the obstacles experienced by school counselors in internal factors in the aspect of teacher competence showed higher results (50%) than aspects of personality and dedication (17%). Meanwhile, external factors in the aspect of facilities and infrastructure showed higher results (47%) than aspects of economic welfare (13%). The understanding and lack of professionalism of school counselors causes this to be one of the weaknesses of teachers in conducting counseling programs.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling programs in junior high schools are arranged based on the needs of students/counselees and school needs. Needs assessment is an activity that aims to find out the real conditions of students that will be used as a basis in planning guidance and counseling programs. A good guidance and counseling program at an educational institution is a well- done plan. The research method used is a literature study. Researchers dig up information through the google scholar search page and DOAJ (Directory Open Access Journal) to find traces of past research related to literacy skills. Through this research, it is expected to know the development of research that has been done about the need assessment in the planning of counseling and counseling programs in junior high schools.

Abstract

Kehidupan berkeluarga merupakan perjalanan yang dibentuk oleh dua insan yang terikat dalam pernikahan. Dalam perjalanan kehidupan tersebut akan selalu ada masalah yang menghampiri baik itu bersumber dari dalam ataupun dari luar diri individu yang menjalaninya. Berbagai permasalahan permasalahan keluarga tersebut dapat di selesaikan melalui konseling keluarga. Konseling keluarga efektif untuk mengatasi masalah dalam keluarga. Konseling keluarga dapat membantu anggota keluarga mendapatkan keharmonisan dalam keluarga karena dalam proses konseling, konseli akan berupaya mengetahui, mengenali, memperhatikan, menerima dan berusaha untuk mempertahankan keluarganya. Konseling keluarga dapat membantu mencegah dan mengatasi masalah dalam keluarga sehingga konseli dapat mempertahankan keharmonisan keluarganya.

Abstract

Parents are the main place for children to get the things they need, starting from affection, a sense of security, a place for children to know about the world for the first time, but the reality is that not all parents are able to fulfill this, it is found that there are parents who are building family in an inappropriate way, such as physical or psychological violence that they do. This makes children victims of violence by parents. So the purpose of this study is to identify and analyze parenting styles for children who are victims of domestic violence. Regarding the population in this study were children who were victims of domestic violence with a sample of 40 children using simple random sampling technique. The findings of this study found that the type of parenting style ofauthoritarian parents became the parenting style carried out by parents who carried out acts of domestic violence with a percentage level of 50.62% which tended to be authoritarian parenting styles which were dominant parents and there was an element of violence in the development of children, so that services Guidance and counseling is expected to help child victims of domestic violence in overcoming difficult times or obstacles they feel as a result of the violence that has occurred.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi akhir-akhir ini, khususnya internet, memberikan dampak positif maupun negatif terhadap remaja. Salah satu dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan adalah berkembangnya perilaku cyberbullying, yaitu tindakan yang dilakukan oleh individu atau kelompok individu tertentu dengan cara mengirimkan pesan teks, foto, gambar, dan video dengan tujuan untuk menyindir, menghina, melecehkan, mendiskriminasi bahkan mempersekusi individu. Data menunjukan bahwa perilaku cyberbullying marak terjadi dikalangan remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran perilaku cyberbullying siswa di SMPN 25 Padang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Responden penelitian adalah siswa SMP Negeri 25 Padang tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebanyak 262 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan skala perilaku cyberbullying siswa yang disusun berpedoman pada model skala likert. Data yang terkumpul diolah menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan program Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum perilaku cyberbullying siswa di SMPN 25 Padang berada pada kategori sedang. Artinya, siswa SMPN 25 Padang masih menunjukan perilaku cyberbullying meskipun tidak dalam intensitas tinggi. Pembahasan fokus pada aspek-aspek cyberbullying dan implikasi terhadap layanan bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract

The study investigated how family, friends and colleagues' support as correlates with job performance of non-teaching staff of public universities in Benue State for counselling implications. The study adopted a correlation research design. The population comprises 2,703 non-teaching staff from three public universities in Benue State: Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University in Makurdi, Benue State University in Makurdi, and the Federal University of Health Sciences in Otukpo. The sample size for the study was 348 non-teaching staff. The sample was selected using proportionate stratified and accidental sampling techniques. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire titled “"Family Support, Friend's Support, and Colleagues' Support, and Job Performance Questionnaire" (FSFSCSJPQ). The questionnaire was validated by experts. The reliability of the questionnaire was established using Cronbach Alpha method which yielded coefficients of 0.81 and 0.84 for sections A and B respectively. Data collected for the study were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The study's findings revealed that there is a high positive relationship between family support and job performance of non-teaching staff of public universities in Benue State, and that the relationship was significant. It was also found that, friends’ support and colleagues’ support had a high and significant positive relationship with job performance of non-teaching staff of public universities in Benue State. The study concluded that support networks, including family, friends, and colleagues; significantly contribute to the enhanced job performance of non-teaching staff in public universities in Benue State. Recommendation were made that public universities should organize employee assistance programs and workshops on communication and interpersonal skills using counsellors as facilitators to help build and maintain support networks and public universities in Benue State should establish or expand Counselling services for their non-teaching staff that can address both personal and professional challenges that may affect their job performance.

Abstract

Beberapa siswa mengalami kesulitan ketika menghadapi soal berbasis pemahaman, sulit menerapkan konsep secara kontekstual dalam situasi permasalahan serta merinci informasi matematis yang kompleks menjadi langkah-langkah yang lebih sederhana. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menggambarkan proses berpikir siswa ketika menyelesaikan soal berbasis pemahaman matematis, khususnya pada materi Teorema Pythagoras. Studi ini dilakukan di MTSS Miftahul Falah Panumbangan dengan melibatkan 21 siswa kelas VIII B pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang diambil dari 3 subjek, masing-masing mewakili kategori kemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah berdasarkan klasifikasi Thompson. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan pemahaman matematis pada materi teorema Pythagoras dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan pemahaman tinggi memiliki proses berpikir yang terarah dan terstruktur, memenuhi semua indikator pemahaman matematis tingkat tinggi, termasuk membuktikan kebenaran suatu rumus dan teorema serta memperkirakan kebenaran tanpa ragu sebelum analisis lebih lanjut. Siswa dengan kemampuan sedang memenuhi indikator, yaitu memperkirakan kebenaran sebelum analisis lebih lanjut, namun belum sepenuhnya membuktikan kebenaran suatu rumus dan teorema. Siswa dengan kemampuan pemahaman rendah mengalami kesalahan dalam membuat ilustrasi sesuai informasi soal, salah memperkirakan kebenaran sebelum analisis lebih lanjut, dan belum mampu membuktikan kebenaran suatu rumus dan teorema.
