Abstract

The task of adolescent social development in peer relations can be said to be successful when there is social acceptance, namely a condition of being accepted or rejected by the social environment. In fact, there are still students who are not accepted by their social environment, such as not having close friends, choosing by themselves in doing various activities and often being ignored. This is presumably due to the students' self-presentation that is not appropriate, so that students cannot present their own picture of their social environment by giving a good impression. The purpose of this study was to describe the conditions of student self-presentation and social acceptance. The population in this study were students of SMAN 7 Padang totaling 648 students and the sample in this study were students of class XI and XII of SMAN 7 Padang, totaling 247 students. Sampling was done by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The findings of this study are, (1) students' self-presentation is in the high category, (2) social acceptance is in the high category, (3) there is a significant positive relationship between student self-presentation and social acceptance.

Abstract

As people get older, individuals will think about what their future state will be, each individual has a different view of the future, many individuals are trapped in a state of anxiety, fear and sadness even to the point of being stressed when they have to be faced with the question of how the future will be. , this is known as the quarter life crisis. The purpose of this study is to help individuals overcome the quarter life crisis by using the approach given in groups. This type of research is a literature study by utilizing articles or journals related to group counseling, the gestalt approach and the quarter life crisis. The findings of this study reveal that using the gestalt approach by means of group counseling is effective in helping individuals who are experiencing a quarter life crisis, one of the techniques used is the practice of being responsible.

Abstract

The government is trying to reduce poverty by providing assistance, one of which is in the field of education, the problems that occur with PIP students make this assistance not have an optimal impact. This study aims to analyze the application of counseling using logotherapy techniques to increase the meaning of life in vocational students receiving PIP. The population of this study was 93 PIP recipient students, the sample was taken using a simple random technique. Data collection uses observation, interviews and meaningful life questionnaires. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design type. Data were analyzed using statistical analysis of the percentage formula to determine the state of the meaning of life in students, so that it can be seen that the condition of the meaning of life for vocational students receiving PIP has a percentage of 47, 31%, while to determine the effectiveness of using logotherapy techniques analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed rank test formula. The results showed that logotherapy counseling was effective in increasing the meaning of life for vocational students receiving PIP with an Asymp Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.005.

Abstract

Problems related to poverty in Indonesia have increased every year, the government is trying to overcome poverty, namely the existence of PIP for students of pre-prosperous families, but the problems experienced by students of pre-prosperous families such as feeling unable to reach their goals because of dependence on this assistance. The perceived condition stems from the meaningfulness of life. This study aims to analyze the E-Book of existential logotherapy approach group guidance in improving the meaningfulness of life of pre-prosperous family students. The research method uses quantitative and qualitative, the type of Research and Development (R&D) research. The research subjects were 10 students from 93 students of pre-prosperous families. The result of the research results revealed that (1) the E-Book of group guidance with an existential logotherapy approach was considered feasible to use by counseling teachers, (2) the level of usability of the E-Book of group guidance with an existential logotherapy approach was feasible to use. It can be known the implications of research in the form of a prototype of E-Book group guidance of existential logotherapy approach in increasing the meaningfulness of life of students of pre-prosperous families, so that it can be utilized by counseling teachers in increasing the meaningfulness of life of students of pre-prosperous families.

Abstract

Parents are the main place for children to get the things they need, starting from affection, a sense of security, a place for children to know about the world for the first time, but the reality is that not all parents are able to fulfill this, it is found that there are parents who are building family in an inappropriate way, such as physical or psychological violence that they do. This makes children victims of violence by parents. So the purpose of this study is to identify and analyze parenting styles for children who are victims of domestic violence. Regarding the population in this study were children who were victims of domestic violence with a sample of 40 children using simple random sampling technique. The findings of this study found that the type of parenting style ofauthoritarian parents became the parenting style carried out by parents who carried out acts of domestic violence with a percentage level of 50.62% which tended to be authoritarian parenting styles which were dominant parents and there was an element of violence in the development of children, so that services Guidance and counseling is expected to help child victims of domestic violence in overcoming difficult times or obstacles they feel as a result of the violence that has occurred.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the level o cultural adaptation owned by female students with minority cultures who are in Sundanese majority culture area. This study uses quantitative descriptive research methods. The research sample consists of 35 active students of SMA Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Putri who have cultures other than Sundanese culture. The instruments used was the Cross Cultural Adaptation Inventory (CCAI) questionnaire. Aspects of the instruments are about: 1) Emotional Resilience, 2) Flexibility/Openness, 3) Perceptual Acuity, and 4) Personal Autonomy. Data analysis using descriptive analysis. Based on the reliability test of the instrument, it was found that the Cronbach's alpha value was 0.73, which falls into the good category. Furthermore, based on the data analysis in the study, it was found that cultural adaptation among minority female students at Daarut Tauhiid High School was in the high category, with a percentage of 62.86%

Abstract

The success in the educational process is influenced by the willingness of students to carry out their duties while studying, the willingness of students in undergoing their education, encouragement / motivation is needed for these students, starting from motivation within themselves and motivation from outside the students. This study aims to analysis the state of student learning motivation, after obtaining information services conducted by students of the Master Program in Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Education, State University of Padang at SDN 12 VII Koto Sungai Sarik. This research uses descriptive quantitative research. This study also used an instrument in the form of a learning motivation questionnaire using a guttman scale which has a weighted answer score of Yes = 2; No = 1. From this study the results obtained 1) There are 14 students who have a level of learning motivation with a percentage of 73.68%; 2) There are 5 students who have a learning motivation level with a percentage of 26.32%; 3) There are no students whose learning motivation is in the medium, low, and very low categories. Therefore, it can be seen that the level of learning motivation of students at SDN 12 VII Koto Sungai Sarik, after receiving information services, the average learning motivation is in the high category.

Abstract

Semakin bertambahnya usia, individu akan memikirkan terkait bagaimana keadaan masa depannya. Setiap individu memiliki pandangan yang berbeda-beda tentang masa depannya. Banyak individu yang terperangkap dalam keadaan rasa cemas, takut, dan sedih, bahkan hingga menjadi stress ketika harus dihadapkan dengan pertanyaan bagaimanakah nanti masa depannya. Hal ini disebut dengan istilah quarter life crisis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu individu mengatasi quarter life crisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan yang diberikan secara berkelompok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan dengan memanfaatkan artikel atau jurnal yang terkait dengan konseling kelompok, pendekatan gestalt, dan quarter life crisis. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan gestalt dengan cara konseling kelompok efektif untuk membantu individu-individu yang sedang mengalami quarter life crisis. Salah satu teknik yang digunakan yakni latihan saya bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Konseling merupakan suatu proses bantuan yang diberikan oleh konselor kepada klien dalam rangka membantu klien dapat mengatasi segala hal-hal yang dirasa menganggu kehidupan sehari-harinya. Sebelum memulai kegiatan konseling, seorang konselor yang terkenal dengan tenaga profesional maka konselor hendaknya memiliki kesiapan baik dari segi fisik, materi dan psikis sebelum memulai proses konseling. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk menjelaskan kesiapan konselor dalam proses konseling agar proses konseling dapat berjalan dengan baik dan berhasil. Metode penulisan artikel merujuk pada tinjauan kepustakaan (literature study) yaitu merujuk pada bahan-bahan bacaan sepertibuku dan hasil-hasil penelitian yang relevan dengan kesiapan konselor dalam proses konseling yang berhasil. Berdasarkan tinjauan maka dapat disimpulkan empat faktor komponen yang mesti dipersiapkan oleh konselor dalam proses konseling yakni komitmen klien, kondisi fasilitas, keahlian konselor, dan pengasuhan konselor.

Abstract

Permasalahan terkait dengan manajemen pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah masih ditemukan dari berbagai sudut permasalahan, hal ini tergambarkan berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi antara lain, tugas guru bimbingan dan konseling yang tidak sesuai, aturan terkait siswa asuh guru bimbingan dan konseling, pelaksanaan dari segi waktu bimbingan konseling di sekolah, sehingga permasalahan yang terjadi ini dapat membuat pelaksanaan manajemen pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah tidak sesuai dengan tujuan atau visi misi pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Maka dari itu perlu aturan yang berlaku dan struktur pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah yang sistematis menggunakan konsep manajamen pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan secara naratif terkait urgensi/pentingnya manajemen pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni tinjauan Pustaka (literature review) dengan metode naratif. Hasil pemabahasan bahwasanya pelaksanaan manajemen pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling perlu menggunakan prinsip-prinsip manajemen yakni POAC, kemudian didukung oleh kerjasama seluruh stakeholder sekolah dalam pelaksanaan pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling. Saran dari hasil penelitian ini, agar peneliti selanjutnya yang ingin meneliti terkait manajemen pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah dapat menggunakan jenis penelitian lainnya dan menjelaskan hasil temuannya dengan metode lain yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian.
