Abstract

Students majoring in Islamic Education at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training are expected to be competent in understanding and teaching Islamic Religious Education subjects in schools. Among the Islamic Religious Education materials in schools is the Fiqh of worship. Based on field studies, religious fiqh lectures are carried out with a pure fiqh approach. Fiqh lectures have not been integrated with other relevant sciences and disciplines, such as health sciences. This research and development (R&D) aimed to examine the impact of integrated learning between Fiqh and health science on the students. This study was research and development combining the concept of religious fiqh lectures with the health sciences aspect. The respondents were students in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training.  The results showed that integrating Fiqh and Health sciences has positive impacts, namely: (1) increasing student motivation and attention in lectures, (2) increasing mastery of fiqh material from the point of view of health sciences, and (3) improving the readiness of students in pursuing the profession of Islamic religious educators in schools. Three methods that could possibly implement the design of strengthening Fiqh learning with health sciences were (1) Lectures with a single lecturer, (2) lectures with team teaching lecturers, and (3) lectures with additional classes specifically for health sciences (Special session). Integrating fiqh subjects with health sciences could be taken into account, as it might benefit the student's competence in mastering fiqh science on a broader view.

Abstract

Sering dinyatakan oleh para tutor mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama Islam, bahwa mahasiswa baru UNY memiliki kemampuan membaca Alquran yang rendah. Mereka menyatakan bahwa mahasiswa baru UNY, dari tahun ke tahun, dalam membaca Alquran masih banyak yang "˜gagap' atau tidak lancar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca Alquran mahasiswa baru FIS UNY pada semester genap angkatan tahun akademik 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan data pelaksanaan tutorial mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama Islam angkatan 2020/2021. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan survey yang bersifat populatif, artinya menghitung semua mahasiswa yang ikut tutotial mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama Islam pada tahun akademik 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa baru FIS UNY tahun akademik 2020/2021masih berada pada jilid dua, yaitu bacaan antar huruf terputus-putus dan salah dalam pelantunan harakat (fathah, kasrah, dhummah, dantanwin) atau tertukar. Sedangkan pada akhir semester terjadi peningkatan, yaitu kebanyakan masuk ke jilid tiga dan empat, bahkan lima, mencapai 74%.It is often stated by tutors of Islamic Religious Education courses, that new UNY students have poor reading skills of the Qur'an. They stated that many of the new students at UNY, from year to year, are still stuttering and being inarticulate when reading the Qur'an. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the ability to read the Qur'an for the new FIS UNY students in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This study took the data from the implementation of the 2020/2021 Islamic Religious Education course. The research was carried out using a survey , which is populative in nature, meaning that it counts all students who took part in the tutorial for the Islamic Religious Education course in the 2020/2021 academic year. The results showed that most of the new FIS UNY students for the 2020/2021 academic year were still in volume 2, in which they read between letters disjointly and incorrectly pronouncing vowels (fathah, kasrah, dhummah, and tanwin) or mixed up. Meanwhile, at the end of the semester, there was an increase in the number of students who entered volumes three and four, even five, reaching 74%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan metode Suggestopedia dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab untuk menuju pembelajaran yang lebih baik dan efektif. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar dapat segera tercapai keberhasilan pembelajaran secara optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan library research dan tinjauan deskriptif untuk menganalisis metode Suggestopedia dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berupa rancangan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab menggunakan metode Suggestopedia. Dengan rancangan ini diharapkan dapat memudahkan para siswa untuk semakin gemar belajar dan berkomunikasi dengan Bahasa Arab, baik dalam keterampilan menyimak (Maharat al-istima'), keterampilan berbicara (Maharat al-kalam), keterampilan membaca (Maharat al-qiraah) dan keterampilan menulis (Maharat al-kitabah)This study aims to describe the Suggestopedia method in Arabic learning, aiming for better and more effective learning. This was sought to effectively achieve the required learning goals. This study used library research and descriptive reviews to analyze the Suggestopedia method for learning Arabic. The results obtained from this study were in the form of an Arabic learning design using the Suggestopedia method. With this design, it is hoped that it eases students into learning and communicating in Arabic, both in listening skills (Maharat al-istima'), speaking skills (Maharat al-kalam), reading skills (Maharat al-qiraah) and writing skills. (Maharat al-Kitabah).

Abstract

Penelitian berusaha mengurai transformasi manajemen kompetensi guru dalam bingkai kebijakan, perspektif ini dipilih agar mampu mengetahui pada tataran tingkat messo dalam mentransformasikan kompetensi guru sesuai kebutuhan daerah. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskrptif. Instrument pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumen, Focus Group Discusion (FGD), wawancara, dan survei. Metode tersebut digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data terkait praktik transformasi kompetensi guru TK di Kulonprogo. Transformasi kompetensi guru menjadi prasyarat dalam rangka pemulihan kualitas pendidikan pasca pandemi. Akan tetapi, belum ditemukan adanya transformasi kompetensi guru selama pandemi maupun pasca pandemic yang benar-benar disusun oleh pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Kulon Progo untuk turu TK. Adapun program-program peningkatan kompetensi guru justru banyak lebih dirasakan sebelum adanya pandemic. Meskipun selama pandemi terdapat program peningkatan kompetensi guru dengan moda daring yang dapat diikuti guru secara mandiri, namun hasilnya tidak bisa dirasakan secara nyata karena minimnya komitmen dan konsistensi guru selama pelatihan. Adapun peningkatan kompetensi guru justru datang dari pemerintah pusat dengan program guru penggerak dan sekolah penggerak. Hal ini menjadi pekerjaan rumah bagi Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Kulon Progo untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru TK dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas belajar peserta didik dalam rangka membekali mereka pada kebutuhan tantangan global.This research sought to unravel the transformation of teacher competence management within the policy framework, this perspective was chosen to , at the messo level,  the transformation of teacher competencies in regard to the regional needs. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection instruments are in the form of document studies, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, and surveys. This method was used to collect data related to the transformation practice of kindergarten teachers' competencies in Kulonprogo. Transformation of teacher competencies is a prerequisite in the recovery framework of post-pandemic education. However, there has not been any transformation of teachers' competences during the pandemic or post-pandemic that was actually arranged by the local government of Kulon Progo Regency for kindergarten teachers. As for programs to improve teacher competence, they were even more recognized before the pandemic. Even though during the pandemic there was a teacher competency improvement program using an online mode in which teachers could participate independently, the results were hardly noticeable due to the lack of commitment and consistency of teachers during training. The increase in teachers' competences actually came from the central government with the guru penggerak and sekolah penggerak programs. This is the homework for the Education Authorities of  Kulon Progo District to improve the competences of kindergarten teachers to maintain and enhance the quality of student learning and prepare them for the global challenges.

Abstract

Kebebasan anak di TKIT Salsabila Al-Muthi'in Bantul memegang peranan penting dalam tumbuh kembang anak Dalam hal ini peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana wujud kebebasan anak di TKIT Salsabila Al-Muthi'in Bantul dan menganalisis kebebasan anak menggunakan perspektif pemikiran filsafat khudi Muhammad Iqbal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan data utama yaitu melalui wawancara pihak terkait Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisisis filosofis untuk mengungkapkan makna dan peran kebebasan anak mengguanakan perpspektif pemikiran filsafat khudi Muhammad Iqbal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa kebebasan anak di TKIT Salsabila Al-Muthi'in Bantul, memiliki konsep yang tidak jauh berbeda dengan konsep kebebasan yang digagas oleh Iqbal. Menurut Iqbal kebebasan adalah yang masih dalam ruang etika, kebebasan tiap ego harus beriringan dengan tanggung jawab. Dan tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa kebebasan akan melahirkan kreativitas.Children's freedom at TKIT Salsabila Al-Muthi'in Bantul plays an important role in their development. In this case, the researcher wanted to find out how the children's freedom at TKIT Salsabila Al-Muthi'in Bantul is and analyzed the children's freedom using the perspective of Muhammad Iqbal's khudi philosophy. This study employed a qualitative method. The main data was collected through interviews with related parties. This study used a philosophical analysis method to reveal the meaning and role of child freedom using the perspective of Muhammad Iqbal's khudi philosophy. The results of this study explain that the freedom of children at TKIT Salsabila Al-Muthi'in Bantul has a concept that is similar to the concept of freedom described by Iqbal. According to Iqbal, freedom is something that is still in the realm of ethics, the freedom of each ego must go hand in hand with responsibility. And it cannot be denied that freedom will give birth to creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the future and sustainability of character education in the era of artificial intelligence. This issue is very important because several research findings show that artificial intelligence-based technology threatens the process of internalizing academic ethical values in education. If this problem is not overcome, it is feared that the implementation of character education will be marginalized by the use of artificial intelligence technology. This research is a philosophical research model on actual problems using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use document studies, while the methodical elements used in data  analysis are description, analysis, synthesis, hermenutics, language analytics, and heuristics. This research found that the development of artificial intelligence technology in education is an unavoidable phenomenon. The world of education as one of the strategic vehicles for improving the quality of human self, has a double duty. First, education must continue to maintain and preserve academic ethical values amid the development of artificial intelligence technology. Second, education at the same time must also be able to eliminate anxiety, fear, or phobia of the use of artificial intelligence. Based on these findings, this study emphasizes the importance of developing character education and artificial intelligence education in a harmonious and balanced manner in order to maintain the future sustainability of character education in the era of artificial intelligence.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis masa depan dan keberlanjutan pendidikan karakter di era kecerdasan buatan. Isu ini sangat penting karena beberapa temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi berbasis kecerdasan buatan mengancam proses internalisasi nilai-nilai etika akademik dalam pendidikan. Jika masalah ini tidak diatasi, dikhawatirkan implementasi pendidikan karakter akan terpinggirkan oleh penggunaan teknologi kecerdasan buatan. Penelitian ini merupakan model penelitian filosofis tentang permasalahan aktual dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Objek material dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan artificial intelligence dalam pendidikan; sedangkan objek formal yang digunakan adalah filsafat teknologi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumen, sedangkan elemen metodis yang digunakan dalam analisis data  adalah deskripsi, analisis,  sintesis, hermenutika, analisis bahasa, dan heuristika. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan dalam pendidikan merupakan fenomena yang tidak dapat dihindari. Dunia pendidikan sebagai salah satu wahana strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri manusia, memiliki tugas ganda. Pertama, pendidikan harus terus menjaga dan melestarikan nilai-nilai etika akademik di tengah perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan. Kedua, pendidikan sekaligus juga harus mampu menghilangkan kecemasan, ketakutan, atau fobia terhadap penggunaan kecerdasan buatan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan pendidikan karakter dan pendidikan kecerdasan buatan secara harmonis dan seimbang guna menjaga keberlangsungan pendidikan karakter di masa depan di era kecerdasan buatan.

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses kreatif menulis buku menggunakan artificial intelligent (AI). Kemunculan AI yang sangat cepat tidak perlu dikhawatirkan. AI dapat menjadi alat bagi guru untuk menulis, membantu mengembangkan ide, dan menemukan beberapa persoalan yang bisa diangkat. Oleh karena itu, dalam menulis buku, guru perlu memanfaatkan AI sebagai sarana. AI dapat membantu guru dalam mempercepat penulisan buku. AI pun dapat membantu guru menemukan ide-ide baru, sehingga kualitas pembelajaran semakin baik. Buku dari hasil kolaborasi ide AI dan kreatifitas guru pun dapat meningkatkan jumlah publikasi. Guru pun dapat terbantu untuk jenjang karir kenaikan pangkat. Selain itu, kualitas Pendidikan Indonesia akan semakin baik, karena tersedia bahan ajar yang memadai dan selalu diperbarui dalam rentang waktu yang relatif pendek.The purpose of this article is to reveal the creative process of writing a book using artificial intelligence (AI). The very rapid development of AI can be used as a tool for teachers to write, help develop ideas, and find several problems that can be researched. It helps teachers speed up book writing and can also help them find new ideas, so that the quality of learning becomes better. Books resulting from the collaboration of AI ideas and teachers' creativity can also increase the number of publications, which is useful for career advancement. Apart from that, the quality of Indonesian education will improve, because adequate open materials are available and are always updated in a relatively short time span.

Abstract

Parental Social Economic Status will continue to change from time to time and there has been inconsistency on its impact on students' academic performance. This study investigated the moderating effect of preferential treatment on the impact of Parental Social Economic Status on students' academic performance in Ogun state. The study used descriptive survey research design with 392 students as sample, selected through multi stage sampling approach. Parental Social economic Status Scale (PSESS, 0.77), Preferential Treatment Scale  (PTS0.82) and Students Academic Perfroamnce Proformat were used for data collection.  Percentage and regression were used for data analysis. Finding of the study showed that PSES and preferential treatment has significant impact on students academic performance ((F(1,390) = 173.734 P < 0.05, F(1,390) = 7.250 P < 0.05).  The combination of PSES and preferential treatment also produced significant outcome ((F(1,389) = 87.956 P < 0.05). The moderating effect of preferential treatment on the impact of PSES on students' academic performance was also significant (t = 12.869, p <0.05). It is concluded that there is significant moderating effect of preferential treatment on impact of PSES on students' academic performance in senior secondary schools in Ogun State

Abstract

Tulisan ini menguraikan bagaimana bidang ilmu pengetahuan, khususnya kosmologi modern, berada dalam situasi yang kacau. Sepanjang sejarah, kosmologi tidak muncul melalui jalan yang tenang dan sepi, melainkan melalui serangkaian perdebatan yang penuh gejolak dan kontroversial yang masih berlangsung hingga saat ini. Artikel ini dimulai dari gambaran singkat tentang pesatnya perkembangan kosmologi, menelusuri asal-usulnya dari Yunani Klasik hingga zaman modern. Perlu dicatat bahwa, seperti halnya filsafat, kosmologi terkait erat dengan pendahulunya, pemikiran Yunani Klasik, yang menjadi landasan bagi teori-teori kosmologis berikutnya. Selanjutnya diulas perdebatan yang sedang berlangsung antara kaum realis dan antirealis mengenai definisi alam semesta, serta peran Einstein dalam perkembangan kosmologi. Secara khusus, artikel ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana Einstein berkontribusi pada wacana seputar alam semesta yang mengembang (big bang) dan alam semesta yang statis. Intinya, makalah ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan sifat kosmologi yang kacau dan berbelit-belit, yang dibentuk oleh berbagai perspektif dan teori yang saling bersaing. Dengan mengkaji sejarah kosmologi, artikel ini menemukan bagaimana kosmologi sampai pada kondisi saat ini, dan bagaimana kosmologi dapat terus berkembang di masa depan.In this paper, I aim to expound on how the field of science, particularly modern cosmology, finds itself in a chaotic situation. Throughout history, cosmology has not emerged through a calm and deserted road, but instead through a tumultuous and contentious series of debates that persist to this day. To begin, I will provide a brief overview of the rapid development of cosmology, tracing its origins from Classical Greece to modern times. It is worth noting that, like philosophy, cosmology is inextricably linked to its predecessor, Classical Greek thought, which served as the foundation for subsequent cosmological theories. Moving forward, I will delve into the ongoing debate between realists and antirealists regarding the definition of the universe, as well as the role of Einstein in the development of cosmology. Specifically, I will explore how Einstein contributed to the discourse surrounding the expanding universe (big bang) and the static universe. In essence, this paper aims to shed light on the chaotic and convoluted nature of cosmology, which has been shaped by a myriad of competing perspectives and theories. By examining the history of cosmology, we can better understand how it has arrived at its current state, and how it may continue to evolve in the future.

Abstract

Peralihan situasi pembelajaran dari masa pandemi Covid-19 yang mengusung konsep daring dengan pembelajaran pascapandemi yang kembali pada pembelajaran luring menimbulkan adanya distraksi dalam kesiapan belajar. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan beberapa topik permasalahan di antaranya yaitu (1) kondisi kesiapan belajar mahasiswa di masa pascapandemi; (2) pengaruh kesiapan belajar mahasiswa terhadap kondisi pembelajaran di kelas; (3) alternatif solusi dalam meminimalisir permasalahan yang muncul. Melalui pendekatan campuran antara paradigma kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan instrumen kuesioner dan wawancara. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan random sampling dan juga purposive sampling. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah lebih dari 50%  mahasiswa menunjukkan keraguan dalam beradaptasi, sulit mempersiapkan diri melaksanakan kelas luring, masih berusaha beradaptasi memahami materi, mahasiswa merasakan pengaruh dari ketidaksiapan belajar, keadaan kelas memberikan pengaruh terhadap aktivitas belajar, ketidaksiapan berasal dari faktor internal maupun eksternal. Kondisi kesiapan belajar menciptakan permasalahan, misalnya homesick menyebabkan mahasiswa kehilangan fokus dalam belajar, ketidaksiapan menyebabkan tugas yang diberikan dosen terasa berat dan keaktifan di kelas berkurang daripada saat kelas daring. Alternatif solusi masalah internal dosen mengevaluasi kepribadian mahasiswa dan memberikan tugas secara ideal, mahasiswa juga harus belajar beradaptasi dan mengatur waktu dengan baik. Adapun pada permasalahan eksternal dibutuhkan peran aktif pihak kampus dalam memperbaiki sarana-prasarana yang ada. The transition of the learning situation from the Covid-19 pandemic to post-pandemic learning caused a distraction in learning readiness. This study aims to examine (1) the condition of student learning readiness in the post-pandemic; (2) the effect on the class; (3) alternative solutions to minimize the problems. Through a mixed approach between qualitative and quantitative paradigms, questionnaires and interviews were used. The sample used in this study was selected based on random and purposive sampling. The results are there are more than 50% students who show doubts, it is difficult to prepare themselves to carry out offline classes, they are still trying to adapt to understand the material, students feel the influence of learning unpreparedness, class conditions influence learning activities, unpreparedness comes from internal and external factors. Those conditions create problems, being homesick causes students to lose focus, unpreparedness causes assignments given by lecturers to feel heavy, and activity in class decreases compared to online classes. Alternative solutions to the lecturer's internal problems evaluate students' personalities and give assignments ideally, students must also learn to adapt and manage their time well. As for external problems, the active role of the campus is needed to improve existing facilities and infrastructure.
