Abstract

Students' motivation and psychological condition play a crucial role in determining academic achievement in higher education, which is usually measured through course scores and Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA). One of the interventions that can be applied to support this psychological dimension is hadith-based counseling, which is a psychological guidance process that makes the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) the main foothold in giving direction to students. This study aims to examine how much contribution hadith-based counseling has to the achievement of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung students. Using a quantitative design with convenience sampling techniques, data was collected from 30 student respondents through a Likert scale questionnaire, then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis assisted by JASP software version 0.95.3. The results of the analysis showed that hadith-based counseling had a strong and significant positive relationship with student achievement, with a Pearson correlation coefficient (r) of 0.785. The determination coefficient (R²) of 0.617 indicates that the hadith-based counseling variable was able to explain 61.7% of the variance in the achievement of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung students, while 38.3% was influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and self-acceptance among tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 5 Bogor. Emotional maturity refers to an individual’s ability to manage and express emotions appropriately, while self-acceptance refers to the ability to accept oneself fully, including both strengths and weaknesses. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population consisted of 383 students, with 196 participants selected through probability sampling using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using emotional maturity and self-acceptance questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed using SPSS version 31.0.2.0. The results showed that most students were in the moderate category for emotional maturity (75.5%) and self-acceptance (70.9%). The product moment correlation test revealed a correlation coefficient of 0.691 with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a strong positive relationship between emotional maturity and self-acceptance. This means that higher emotional maturity is associated with higher self-acceptance, and vice versa. Based on these findings, schools are encouraged to develop systematic and sustainable programs through guidance and counseling services and other structured interventions to improve students’ emotional maturity and self-acceptance. Further research is advised to develop studies with other relevant research methods and variables.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the implementation of the Employee Attendance Information System (SIAP) in improving employee work discipline. The focus of this study is based on the effectiveness theory developed by Sutrisno (2007) which consists of five indicators and there are supporting and inhibiting factors. With this system, it provides convenience in the process of employee attendance in conducting absences or presence during working hours. However, in practice, there are still obstacles related to the implementation of SIAP in the work environment of the Food Security, Agriculture, and Fisheries Service. This study uses a qualitative approach with a purposive sampling data collection technique with the criteria of informants who are users of the SIAP application. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation in obtaining data in the field and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the SIAP application is considered quite effective, referring to the effectiveness theory with five indicators by Sutrisno (2007) through program understanding, on target, on time, achievement of goals, and real change. From the informant's statement, the application of the SIAP application in employee attendance is considered quite effective, this is proven by the achievement of timely indicators that assess the SIAP application sometimes has obstacles such as a system that often errors. In addition to supporting factors, there are also inhibiting factors such as accuracy in the accuracy system of the application in adjusting coordinate points when taking attendance. From the research conducted by researchers, it can be concluded that the application of the SIAP application is considered quite effective because deficiencies are still found in the SIAP application. Thus, the recommendations provided by researchers can be used as a means or improvement to the SIAP system or application with the aim of increasing employee work discipline.

Abstract

Islamic education occupies a strategic position within the Indonesian national education system. Various government regulations, including Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System and Law Number 18 of 2019 concerning Pesantren, have strengthened the legal foundation for the development of Islamic educational institutions. The effectiveness of these policies, however, is highly dependent on the quality of leadership within Islamic educational organizations. This study aims to analyze the role of leadership in formulating Islamic education policies, examine the relationship between government regulations and leadership in Islamic educational institutions, and explore the implications of national education policies for the management of Islamic educational organizations. The study employed a qualitative approach through library research by examining books, scientific articles, laws, and relevant policy documents. Data were analyzed using descriptive analytical techniques to identify patterns, relationships, and implications of policy implementation. The findings indicate that Islamic leadership characterized by vision, adaptability, consultation (shura), justice, and accountability plays a central role in policy formulation and implementation. Government regulations have encouraged institutional transformation toward professionalism, accountability, and quality assurance. At the same time, challenges emerge in the form of bureaucratization, regulatory dualism, and the potential erosion of Islamic institutional identity. Effective leadership serves as a bridge between national policy demands and the preservation of Islamic educational values. Therefore, the success of Islamic education policies depends largely on leadership capable of integrating modern management principles with Islamic values in a balanced and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study looks at how leadership and decision-making affect the social aspects of the Pelopor Kebaikan organization in West Sumatra. The research takes a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and document collection. The Branch Coordinator of Pelopor Kebaikan in West Sumatra was the main informant for this study. The findings reveal that leadership significantly impacts solidarity, member quality, and the organization's sustainability. Leaders play a crucial role in creating an effective system. They achieve this by providing regular training, rewarding active members, and offering discussion forums for all members to share their opinions and feedback. The organization uses two methods for decisionmaking. First, it involves members through deliberation for certain decisions. Second, the leader makes special decisions to ensure the organization runs smoothly and maintains confidentiality. Decision evaluations occur by assessing impacts, conducting surveys among members, and revising decisions if necessary. From the research results, we can conclude that democratic leadership and an open decision-making process foster better social interactions within the organization. This is clear from effective communication, a heightened sense of responsibility among members, and strong solidarity during the organization’s social activities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between academic procrastination and academic stress among students of STDI Imam Syafi'iJember from the perspective of hadiths on time management. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population consisted of 1,506 students, and a sample of 94 students was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 27, including validity, reliability, normality, linearity, and Pearson Product-Moment correlation tests. The results revealed a positive and significant relationship between academic procrastination and academic stress, with a correlation coefficient of 0.416 and a significance value of 0.001. These findings indicate that higher levels of academic procrastination are associated with higher levels of academic stress among students. The dominant factors contributing to procrastination were poor time management and psychological anxiety regarding unfinished academic tasks. From the perspective of hadith, procrastination reflects negligence in utilizing time, which is regarded as a trust (amanah) bestowed by Allah SWT. Therefore, strengthening time management skills based on Islamic values is essential to reduce academic procrastination and alleviate academic stress among university students

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a government policy aimed at improving the quality of human resources through fulfilling the nutritional needs of the community. This study aims to analyze the MBG program as both a solution and a burden in national development. The method used is a literature review by examining various journals, government data, and scientific sources related to nutrition, human development, and public policy. The results of the study indicate that the MBG program has the potential to improve nutritional quality, support the physical and cognitive development of children, and help reduce stunting and malnutrition rates. On the other hand, the implementation of the program faces several challenges, including large budget requirements, distribution constraints, uneven food quality, and the risk of budget misuse. In addition, the effectiveness of the program still depends on the quality of governance, supervision, and policy sustainability. Therefore, the MBG program needs to be implemented in a targeted, transparent, and sustainable manner in order to make an optimal contribution to national development.
