Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Islamic education during the time of Umar bin Khattab and its relevance to contemporary Islamic education. In this research, the author is interested in discussing education during the time of Umar bin Khattab, because Caliph Umar was a person who made it possible for Islamic education to advance and spread to other countries. Umar's relatively long reign of 10 years had an impact on the expansion of Islamic territory beyond the Arabian Peninsula. This means that the spread of Islam at that time was increasingly widespread, considering these conditions, Caliph Umar also emphasized the issue of Islamic education. This type of research is literary research that uses analytical methods using a social history approach and uses books, articles and journals related to the caliph Umar bin Khattab with the relevance of Islamic education during the time of Umar bin Khattab to contemporary Islamic education and its application. The results of this research show that from an educational perspective, during Umar bin Khattab's time, teacher recruitment already had qualifications in accordance with the educational qualifications of educators. The educational methods used during Umar bin Khattab's time were halaqah, talaqi, and lectures. And these methods are still relevant to current educational methods. This shows the relevance between Islamic education today and Islamic education during the time of Umar bin Khattab. And currently the application of educational values carried out by Caliph Umar Bin Khatab has been carried out. And education today is more sophisticated, because it is influenced by technological developments.

Abstract

Dayah is the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, allegedly as an education system that was born and grew through Indonesian culture that is "ingenious" which some people believe has adopted the previous educational model, namely from Hindu and Buddhist education before the arrival of Islam. However, after Islam entered Indonesia, Dayah-Dayah was a place to study Islamic religious knowledge. And people who study Islamic religious sciences in Dayah-Dayah are usually referred to as santri and santriwan. Whereas teachers who teach Islamic religious sciences in Dayah-Dayah are known as Tengku. According to its origin, the word Tengku in the Acehnese language is used for three different types of titles: 1. As an honorary title for items that are considered sacred. 2. An honorary title for old people in general. 3. A title given by the community to an Islamic scholar who owns or becomes a Dayah leader and teaches Islamic classics to his students. The form of this research is qualitative descriptive, namely descriptive qualitative research is research that is included in the type of qualitative research. The purpose of this research is to reveal the facts, circumstances, phenomena, variables and conditions that occur when the research is running and present it as it is. Qualitative descriptive research interprets and tells data related to the situation that is currently happening, attitudes and views that occur in society, conflicts of 2 or more circumstances, relationships between variables, differences between facts, influence on a condition, and others.

Abstract

Teachers as role models have a very strategic position and role in all educational efforts. The position of teachers as professional educators functions to increase the dignity and role of teachers as learning agents in improving the quality of national education. In realizing professional work principles. Indonesian teachers, especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, are required to have pedagogical, personality, social and professional competencies in accordance with developments in science and technology. Apart from that, teacher morality must always be maintained because dignity and nobility as the basic elements of teacher morality lie in the excellence of their behavior, reason and dedication. Education services will be better if the teacher code of ethics is applied consistently. The Indonesian Teacher Code of Ethics contains norms and principles that serve as guidelines for attitudes and behavior in carrying out professional duties as educators, community members and citizens with the aim of placing teaching as an honorable, noble and dignified profession that is protected by law. The research for writing this article used the literature study method. Literature study is the process of collecting data by collecting library data, namely library literature from books, articles and journals. In this research the author uses a critical descriptive approach by prioritizing analysis of data sources. The data source for this article comes from several articles or journals written by educational experts who have experience.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the activeness of student learning in class IV MIS Ujung Batu through the demonstration learning method of triangle material on flat shapes. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles,each cycle consisting of planning,implementation,observation,and reflection. This research was carried out in class IV MIS Ujung Batu. The data sources in this research are devided into two, namely (1) Primary data namely the activity of class IV students at MIS Ujung Batu totaling 30 students. (2) Secondary data is class teachers and class IV MIS Ujung Batu school. Data collection techniques in this research were obtained through observation,interviews and documentation. Abstract

In this second semester, students experienced a decrease in learning outcomes. The low student learning outcomes in the block volume of students has been proven by the acquisition of pre-test results of block volume from 16 students in class V SDN 37 Kendari. Based on the students' pre-test results, 6 students or 37.5% of the classical completeness scores were successful in achieving the KKM score. And students who have not reached the classical mastery target are 10 students or 62.5%. The KKM score is 70. Seeing this statement, it can be said that the problem above is the author is interested in researching and testing the extent to which mathematics learning outcomes in block volume material are through discovery learning models. This research method uses class action research methods (Classroom Action Research). This classroom action research was conducted at SDN 37 Kendari Class V. The research was conducted from January 2022 to March 2022. The research subjects were Class V students at SDN 37 Kendari for the 2021/2022 academic year. There are 16 students in Class V. Data collection techniques in this study are observation techniques, interviews and documentation. In the pre- cycle, the classical student learning outcomes were 28.57% in the "very low" category, in the first cycle the percentage was 80.95% in the high category, while in the second cycle the percentage was classically 100% in the "very high" category. In the pre-cycle, the classical student learning outcomes were 25% in the "very low" category, in the first cycle the percentage was 81.25% in the high category, while in the second cycle the percentage was classically 100% in the "very high" category. The results of the evaluation in cycle II experienced an increase compared to the evaluation in cycle I. The results of the evaluation in cycle II found that classical learning mastery reached (100%) with the average final score of students reaching (84.76) previously in the pre-cycle it was known that classical learning mastery reached (25%) with an average final test score of students reaching (64.37) and in cycle I the classical learning completeness reached (81.25%) with an average final test score of students (76.25). From this information it can be concluded that the discovery learning model can be applied to the volume of blocks in Class V even semester at SDN 37 Kendari for the 2021/2022 Academic Year

Abstract

This study discusses the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in the teaching of Islamic Education as efforts to establish the Pacasila personality of the students. This type of research is qualitative research. Interdisciplinary research approach used, among other things: management approach, pedagogical, sociological, and psychological. Sources of primary data from this study were teachers of Islamic education. Secondary data sources in this study a school profile data, theories on the concept of the learning strategies, Islamic religious of education theory, and the theory of the formation of Muslim personality. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research found that the learning strategies of Islamic education in shaping Muslim personality of students use two strategies of learning, ie learning direct and indirect learning.

Abstract

Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the improvement of students' gross motor skills through rhythmic gymnastics in class I SD Negeri 1501 Hurung Jilok obtained the percentage of completeness of gross motor skills of students in the complete category of 7 students or 30.43%, while the completeness of gross motor skills of students in the category of not yet complete 16 students or 69.57%, while the first cycle obtained the percentage of complete gross motor skills of students in the complete category of 13 students or 56.52%, while the complete gross motor skills of students in the incomplete category were 10 students or 43.48% and for cycle II it was obtained that the percentage of completeness of gross motor skills of students in the complete category was 21 students or 91.30%, while the completeness of gross motor skills of students in the incomplete category was 2 students or 8.70%. So it can be concluded that through rhythmic gymnastics that is applied it can improve the gross motor skills of students in class I SD Negeri 1501 Hurung Jilok.

Abstract

Research on early childhood character education according to Ibn Qoyyim al-Jauziyyah in the book Tuhfaul Maudud bi Ahkamil Maulud aims to understand the guidelines and principles presented by Ibn Qoyyim in shaping the character of early childhood. This study used content analysis methods to evaluate the content of the book Tuhfaul Maudud bi Ahkamil Maulud and found the main themes in the guidelines and principles presented by Ibn Qoyyim. The results showed that Ibn Qoyyim emphasized the importance of building a good relationship between parents and children, educating children in the right way, setting a good example, and providing Islamic religious education to children. This research shows that the guidelines and principles presented by Ibn Qoyyim in the book Tuhfaul Maudud bi Ahkamil Maulud are very relevant in shaping the character of early childhood

Abstract

This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The data that the researchers obtained were based on the results of observations and interviews with informants. The results of the study showed that the role of the Bintaldam unit in carrying out Islamic mental and spiritual development for soldiers was shown by carrying out various series of routinely programmed activities so that soldiers in the Cenderawasih Regional Military Command XVII unit had a good spiritual mentality. The supporting factors for the proper implementation of this program and maximum results include the support from the Bintaldam unit leaders who synergize with each other in implementing the Bintaldam program that has been designed as well as with the facilities and infrastructure available to support various mental development activities for soldiers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine efforts to increase learning achievement and learning motivation of 6th grade students at SDN Hegarmanah Cugenang Cianjur through the experimental test method in the Islamic Religious Education Curriculum, which consists of two cycles, Cycle I and Cycle II. The research object was 38 students in the class, and the research object was learning achievement and learning motivation. The test equipment used is in the form of student learning achievement tests to measure student learning motivation and learning achievement tests to measure learning achievement in cycles I and II. The data collected is in the form of quantitative data. Data analysis method is descriptive and quantitative. The results showed that the initial reflection data on average academic achievement and canon integrity were relatively suboptimal in terms of knowledge and skills in Islamic religious education courses, but after the first cycle, the results increased along with the average academic achievement. 75. The learning completeness level reaches 75%, and the average result of observing students' learning motivation reaches 65%. After the implementation of cycle II as a whole, the average score increased by 81%, and the completeness level was 94% higher than the results of the initial reflection. Meanwhile, overall learning motivation increased by 29% in cycles I and II to complete learning outcomes. The conclusion is that the test-experimental method can increase intrinsic motivation in encouraging someone to come purely from within the student and can increase students' motivation to learn PAI in grade VI. 2) Experimental learning of growing tests can increase intrinsic motivation tends to encourage people to be stronger, and the achievement is more satisfying. It can improve Islamic learning outcomes for grade VI students.
