Abstract

This research examines the influence of social media on consumer purchase decisions, focusing on how platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter shape consumer behaviour and perceptions. Social media provides quick and broad access to product reviews, recommendations and direct interaction with brands, which further influences purchase decisions. The role of influencers and paid content on social media is also an important factor in shaping consumer preferences and loyalty. However, challenges arise in the form of subjective and sometimes misleading information, which can cloud the decision-making process. Therefore, an effective marketing strategy on social media should emphasise openness and honesty, while consumers should be more critical in filtering information.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of work motivation, teacher competence, and organizational culture on teacher performance, with transformational leadership as a moderating variable. The findings reveal that work motivation and teacher competence significantly enhance teacher performance, while work culture also plays a crucial role in shaping a productive educational environment. Moreover, transformational leadership strengthens the effects of motivation and competence, highlighting its importance in fostering high-performing educators. However, its moderating role in the work culture–performance relationship is less pronounced, suggesting that work culture independently influences teacher effectiveness. These findings contribute to existing theoretical frameworks by integrating motivation, competence, and work culture with leadership dynamics, offering insights into how leadership styles influence teacher performance. From a practical perspective, the study underscores the need for leadership development programs, targeted professional training, and policies that enhance teacher motivation and competence. Educational policymakers and school administrators should focus on fostering a positive work culture and implementing transformational leadership strategies to optimize teacher performance. Future research should explore additional contextual factors that may further refine these relationships in different educational settings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the role of technology in supporting the implementation of a circular economy through a literature review and identify the practical implications of adopting these technologies. The circular economy offers an alternative approach to the traditional linear model, prioritising waste minimisation and resource use optimisation. This research highlights various information and communication technologies, such as big data, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT), which have the potential to revolutionise resource management and improve the efficiency of industrial processes. In addition, innovations in product design and manufacturing, including 3D printing and the development of new environmentally-friendly materials, are discussed as key factors in ensuring longer and more sustainable product lifecycles. The study also reviews the challenges and opportunities in the application of these technologies, including the need for cross-sector collaboration and supportive regulations. The results show that technology integration in the circular economy not only contributes to environmental sustainability but also to increased economic value. Therefore, recommendations are provided to support the acceleration of technology adoption through education and public awareness initiatives.

Abstract

This research explores the challenges faced by online journalism practices in managing communication ethics, particularly in the aspects of information accuracy and speed of news distribution. With the increasing influence of social media and digital platforms, online journalism faces growing pressure to publish news quickly, often at the expense of a thorough verification process. This research identifies that one of the main root causes of the problem is the lack of training and strict editorial standards, resulting in errors in reporting and declining public trust in the media. The study conducted in this research used the literature research method. The results found that the practice of communication ethics in online journalism is simply to maintain the integrity of the media and strengthen public trust in an ever-evolving information age.

Parental involvement in education has long been recognized as having a significant positive impact on children's educational outcomes, including academic achievement and emotional well- being. The research method used was a literature review. The results show that effective communication between school and home is an important foundation in building an effective partnership. The use of modern technology such as mobile apps and other digital platforms was found to be helpful in facilitating such communication. In addition, the study also found that flexibility in engagement methods and providing rewards and recognition to parents significantly increased their level of participation. Accordingly, the study suggests the importance of education and training for parents, which not only enhances their ability to support their children academically but also enriches their involvement in the school community. In conclusion, supporting parental involvement requires a multifaceted and adaptive approach that recognizes and celebrates the contributions of each parent.

Abstract

This literature review aims to examine the effectiveness of an anti-bullying program in creating a safe learning environment in an elementary school setting. The study was motivated by the increasing incidence of bullying in schools which has a negative impact on students' mental health and academic performance. Based on these observations, this study aims to identify evidence-based strategies that can tackle the problem of bullying and promote a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. The research method used a literature review. The results showed that anti-bullying programs that involve all school components, including students, teachers and parents, are the most effective in creating a safe learning environment. Interventions that focused on empathy education, social skills training for students, and training for teachers in recognizing and responding to bullying incidents proved significant in reducing the incidence of bullying. In addition, parental involvement in bullying education and prevention programs had a positive impact in strengthening school efforts. Last but not least, the findings show that restorative approaches that emphasize mediation and conflict resolution are effective in improving relationships between perpetrators and victims, as well as building a more inclusive and supportive school culture.

Abstract

Health management plays a crucial role in improving the quality of medical services in the modern era, where the complexity and demands on health services are increasing. Through efficient resource management, developing the competence of medical personnel, and implementing a strict patient safety system, health management can ensure that the services provided meet high standards and patient expectations. Systematic performance evaluations and the use of advanced information technology, such as electronic medical records, strengthen the effectiveness of evidence-based decision making. Collaboration between health professions and patient involvement in the care process are also important elements in improving service quality. In addition, health management plays a role in increasing service accessibility, especially for underserved communities. With an evidence-based approach and continuous innovation, health management can meet future challenges and contribute to a more responsive and quality health system. Through these efforts, it is hoped that the quality of medical services can continue to be improved, leading to better public health outcomes.

Abstract

This study explores the significant role of family influence on a child’s intelligence quotient (IQ) and educational outcomes. It examines how various family-related factors, including genetic inheritance, socioeconomic status, parental expectations, emotional support, and cultural practices, contribute to the cognitive development and academic success of children. The research highlights the complex interplay between hereditary and environmental factors, emphasizing the importance of a supportive and enriching family environment in fostering a child’s intellectual growth. Additionally, the study discusses the challenges families face, such as economic inequalities, family instability, and the overemphasis on genetic factors, which can hinder the child’s educational potential. In addressing these challenges, the study suggests practical roles for parents in supporting their children’s education, the importance of collaboration between families and schools, and the need to overcome socio-economic barriers to enhance the educational experience. The findings underscore the necessity of strengthening family contributions to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically and intellectually.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of different leadership styles on employee work engagement, with a focus on identifying effective leadership practices that foster high levels of engagement. The research examines three primary leadership styles— transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire—and their influence on work engagement dimensions, including vigor, dedication, and absorption. A mixed- methods approach was used, combining quantitative surveys from 450 employees across various industries and qualitative interviews with 25 organizational leaders and HR professionals. The results reveal that transformational leadership is the most effective in driving work engagement, as it encourages employee empowerment, motivation, and personal development. Employees under transformational leaders reported high levels of engagement, particularly in terms of dedication and absorption. In contrast, transactional leadership showed moderate effects, with employees reporting engagement primarily related to performance and target achievement, but lower levels of emotional involvement. Laissez-faire leadership, characterized by minimal involvement and guidance, had the most negative impact on employee engagement, leading to feelings of disconnection, disengagement, and low morale. The study highlights the importance of adopting transformational leadership practices to cultivate an engaged workforce, while suggesting that organizations should limit the use of transactional and laissez-faire leadership approaches. By focusing on leadership development that promotes trust, innovation, and personal growth, organizations can improve work engagement, resulting in enhanced productivity, job satisfaction, and long-term organizational success.
