Abstract

Nowadays people need a quality education, especially the schools that give a balance loads between religious and general education.This is because the parents’ awareness of the importance ofreligious education for their children was increasing, in order tocounteract the negative effects exhaled by globalization, especially the moral decadence and rampant cases of drugs among young people. It is a challenge and opportunity for Islamic institutions,especially the Islamic high school (Madrasah Aliyah), which beganto rise to become an excellent school. Here are four things thathave to be met by madrasah to be a leading educational institution:first, the implementation of curriculum strategies. Second, thedevelopment of management based on madrasah. Third, create asynergistic relationship between teachers and students. Fourth, thereorientation of the teaching system. The official recognition of theinstitution of madrasah as a subsystem of national education is its challenge to show that madrasah is one of competitive educational institutions that is acceptable to all people, especially to those whoare not familiar with madrasah. This study will attempt to explorethe strategy of Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Ulama Demak in theimplementation of curriculum to fulfill that expectation during academic year 2012/2013.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap keefektifan pelaksanaan program BTQ di IAIN Pekalongan dengan menggunakan evaluasi model CIPP (context, input, process, product). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian evaluatif dengan pendekatan diskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan angket yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel-tabel dan presentase setiap komponen dan dianalisis dalam setiap indikator. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aspek konteks program BTQ masuk kategori sangat baik. Adapun aspek input program BTQ masuk kategori sangat baik, hanya saja terdapat satu indikator yaitu sarana prasarana (modul pembelajaran) yang belum maksimal dengan persentase 17,97% cukup, 7,03% rendah dan 10,94% sangat rendah. Sedangkan aspek proses program BTQ masuk dalam kategori cukup khususya indikator yang kurang efektif dan efesien yaitu dalam hal pelaksanaan pembelajaran (alokasi waktu) dengan persentase 14,06% cukup, 5,47% rendah, dan 20,31% menyatakan sangat rendah. Terakhir aspek produk program BTQ masuk dalam kategori cukup khsusnya dalam bidang psikomotorik (kemampuan menulis) belum maksimal dengan persentase 6,25% cukup, 13,28% rendah, dan 13,28% sangat rendah.This articels aims to uncover the effectiveness of the BTQ program implementation at IAIN Pekalongan by using the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, product). This type of research is evaluative research with quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques and instruments through observation and questionnaires are presented in the form of tables and percentages of each component and analyzed in each indicator. The results of this study indicate that aspects of the BTQ program context are categorized as very good. The input aspect of the BTQ program is in the very good category, only there is one indicator, which is infrastructure which has not been maximized with a percentage of 17.97% enough, 7.03% low and 10.94% very low. Whereas aspects of the BTQ program process fall into the category of quite specifically the indicators that are less effective and efficient, namely in terms of implementation of learning (time allocation) with a percentage of 14.06% sufficient, 5.47% low, and 20.31% stated very low. The last aspect of BTQ program products is included in the category of quite specifically in the field of psychomotor (writing ability) has not been maximized with a percentage of 6.25% is enough, 13.28% is low, and 13.28% is very low.

Abstract

Productive communal ownership (waqf) represent especial choice when people is in the acute poorness. The existence communal ownership gets an especial priority addressed at more yielding effort. Productive communal ownership represent media to create justice of economics, lessening poorness, developing social security system, providing facility service of health, and developing the educational institution. This phenomenon make a productive communal ownership, and its relation with developing of education is very urgen to be done. This paper is the result of research that used a qualitative method with fenomenological  approach, and analized by descriptive-explanative method. Through this method, the researcher tries to comprehend the model of enableness of productive communal ownership in al-Azhar asy-Syarif, Cairo in developing of education. As for model to study the enableness of productive communal ownership in al-Azhar asy-Syarif are: the model of enableness of productive communal ownership in managing of al-Azhar building, Hospital, student hostel, Islamic Research Institute, main library, the model of observation and the accuntability productive communal ownership, and the model of enableness of productive communal ownership for education.Wakaf produktif merupakan pilihan utama ketika umat sedang dalamketerpurukan kemiskinan akut. Dengan wakaf produktif, berarti wakaf yang ada memperoleh prioritas utama ditujukan pada upaya yang lebih menghasilkan. wakaf produktif merupakan media untuk menciptakan keadilan ekonomi, mengurangi kemiskinan, mengembangkan sistem jaminan sosial, menyediakan fasilitas pelayanan  kesehatan, dan mengembangkan pendidikan. fenomena inilah yang menjadikan pembahasan  wakaf produktif, terutama jika dikaitkan dengan pengembangan pendidikan sangat urgen untuk dilakukan. Makalah ini adalah hasil penelitian yang menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Sedangkan metode kajian yang dipakai adalah metode kajian deskriptif-eksplanatif-analitis. Dengan pendekatan ini peneliti berusaha memahami model pemberdayaan wakaf produktif di al-azhar  asy-Syarif, Cairo dalam pengembangan pendidikan. adapun model yang akan dikaji dari pemberdayaan wakaf produktif di al-azhar asy-Syarif ini adalah: model  pemberdayaan  wakaf produktif dalam pengelolaan gedung al-azhar, model pemberdayaan Rumah Sakit, model pemberdayaan asrama mahasiswa, model pemberdayaan lembaga Riset Islam, model manajemen al-azhar, model pemberdayaan wakaf   Salah kamil, model pemberdayaan perpustakaan induk, model pengawasan dan akuntabilitas wakaf produktif, dan model pemberdayaan wakaf produktif untuk pendidikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the impact of implementing collaborative learning learning methods to improve interpersonal skills of PGMI IAIN Purwokerto students. This research is included in the type of classroom action research (CAR) by adopting Mc Kernan's theory which uses seven stages consisting of problem description, needs assessment, idea hypothesis, action plan, plan implementation, evaluation and decision making which is divided into three major activities namely (1) planning, (2) plan implementation, and (3) evaluation and decision making. The data collection techniques used were observation, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study were selected two learning strategies that fall into the category of collaborative learning learning methods, namely the group resume strategy and study group. The application of the group resume strategy can improve students' interpersonal skills in the interpersonal relationship section, but it is not optimal for improving relationships between groups. As for the study group strategy, it is proven to improve students' interpersonal skills both in the relationship between individuals and individuals, individuals with groups and relationships between groups and groups.

Abstract

This study was conducted to design a guidance model of self regulated learning and test effectiveness of this model in improving quality of students scientific work. Design of model is done by identifying needs of students and apply model in guidance process of students scientific work. Subjects in this study are student who is writing their thesis numbered 42 people in UIN Sunan KAlijaga Yogyakarta. The results show that students need guidance on a strategy to complete thesis quickly and precisely. By applying that guidance model quality of students thesis  increased significantly shown in value of thesis that be obtained.

Abstract

Cultivation of Religious Values Through Extra-Curricular Activities of Tahfidz at MA ATQIA Bondowoso. This research aims to determine the instillation of religious values at MA ATQIA Bondowoso through tahfidz extracurricular activities. This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive research type. Data collection in this research used interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this research conclude that the instillation of religious values in the tahfidz extracurricular at MA ATQIA Bondowoso, instills four religious values, namely: First, the value of worship which is instilled by getting students used to regularly reading the Koran and maintaining cleanliness by performing ablution. Second, the value of jihad which trains students to be disciplined and patient. Third, moral values that teach students to be polite to teachers, respect other people and help each other. Fourth, exemplary values that teach students to always straighten out their intentions only because of Allah, protect themselves from immoral acts and continue to pray so that students who take tahfidz are given the ease to memorize and can maintain their memorization.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penanaman nilai – nilai religius di MA ATQIA Bondowoso melalui kegiatan ektrakurikuler tahfidz. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penanaman nilai – nilai religius pada ektrakulikuler tahfidz di MA ATQIA Bondowoso, menanamkan empat nilai – nilai religius yakni : Pertama, nilai ibadah yang ditanamkan dengan membiasakan siswa rutin membaca Al-Qur’an dan menjaga kebersihan dengan berwudlu’. Kedua, nilai jihad yang melatih siswa untuk disiplin dan sabar. Ketiga, nilai akhlak yang mengajarkan siswa untuk sopan kepada guru, menghargai orang lain dan saling tolong menolong. Keempat, nilai keteladanan yang mengajarkan siswa untuk senantiasa meluruskan niat hanya karena allah, menjaga diri dari perbuatan maksiat dan terus berdoa’a agar para siswa yang mengikuti tahfidz diberikan kemudahan untuk menghafal dan bisa menjaga hafalannya.

Muhammad Abduh was an Egyptian reformer who emphasized renewal thought or effort to respond to the challenges that comefrom the West and the modern world, chosen identifikatif approachis evidence for a creative and proactive stance in solving variousproblems of Muslims. With indentifikatif approach it uses,Muhammad Abduh be seen as a reformer who thought renewalcharacterized by or having typology of modernist-reformist. Agendalaunched by Muhammad Abduh in order to carry out its renewal is;purification, reform, reformulation and defense of Islam. MohammadAbduh spirit of renewal at this time , may need to be rethought asembryonic restoration of Egypt in general and Islamic education(al-Azhar) in particular, so that the later ending especially Islamiceducation in Indonesia as a base capable successor even struggle reform ideals of Muhammad Abduh. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan desain pembelajaran terbalik atau flipped learning dan penerapannya sebagai salah satu bentuk pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam meningkatkan kompetensi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) guru, utamanya guru agama di sekolah maupun madrasah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data terkait desain pembelajaran flipped learning yang telah banyak diterapkan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran flipped learning dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran, serta menjadikan waktu penyampaian materi lebih efisien. Meskipun tetap ditemukan kendala seperti keterbatasan alat teknologi, serta yang paling menghambat adalah tidak adanya kompetensi TIK bagi guru. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah desain pembelajaran flipped learning cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dibanding metode pembelajaran konvensional.This study aims to describe the design of reverse learning or flipped learning and its application as a form of technology-based learning in improving the competence of information and communication technology (ICT) teachers, mainly religious teachers in schools and madrasa. The research method used is a descriptive analysis method with data collection techniques related to a flipped learning design that has been widely applied. The results it shows are that flipped learning design learning can increase learners' involvement in the learning process, and make time for material delivery more efficient. Although the constraints are still found such as limited technological equipment, and the most impede is the absence of ICT competence for teachers. This research concludes that flipped learning design is effective enough to increase the activity of learners over conventional learning methods.

Abstract

The Practice of Instilling Local Wisdom Values for the Jrahi Village Community as Learning Resourcesof Social Studies. Research with locus in Jrahi Village, Gunungwungkal District, Pati Regency, aims to: 1) analyze the praxis of the value of local wisdom of the people of Jrahi Village; 2) assessing the value of local wisdom of the community as a source of social studies learning. The approach in this study is Participatory Action Research – a participatory action research method aimed at identifying research problems based on the needs of the research subject. Researchers as interventionists, activists, and facilitators. The collected data are analyzed qualitatively. The results showed: 1) The praxis of the value of local wisdom of the people of Jrahi Village – such as Sedekah Bumi, Ngalungi Sapi, Barikan, and Dawuhan – became local wisdom that was preserved; 2) The values of local wisdom of the community as a source of social studies learning with the stages of formulating goals, determining material, and making appropriate learning strategies. Penelitian  dengan  lokus  di  Desa  Jrahi  Kecamatan  Gunungwungkal  Kabupaten  Pati,  bertujuan  untuk:  1)  menganalisis  praksis  nilai  kearifan  lokal  masyarakat  Desa  Jrahi;  2)  mengkaji  nilai  kearifan  lokal  masyarakat  sebagai  sumber  pembelajaran  IPS.  Pendekatan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah  Participatory  Action  Research  –metode  penelitian  aksi  partisipatoris  bertujuan  mengidentifikasi  problem  penelitian  berdasar  pada  kebutuhan  dari  subjek  penelitian.  Peneliti  sebagai  interventionist,  aktivis,  dan  fasilitator.  Data  yang  dikumpulkan  dianalisis  secara  kualitatif.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan:  1)  Praksis  nilai  kearifan  lokal  masyarakat  Desa  Jrahi  –seperti  Sedekah  Bumi,  Ngalungi  Sapi,  Barikan,  dan  Dawuhan–  menjadi  kearifan  lokal  yang  dilestarikan;  2)  Nilai-nilai  kearifan  lokal  masyarakat  sebagai  sumber  pembelajaran  IPS  dengan  tahapan  merumuskan  tujuan,  menentukan  materi,  dan  membuat  strategi  pembelajaran  yang  tepat.

Abstract

This study aims to find and describe the learning process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) based on contextual activities carried out at MI Alam Alfa Kids Pati. This study uses a type of descriptive qualitative research with a participatory approach. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document review. While data analysis used an interactive analysis model including data reduction, data delivery, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results and discussion of the study that PAI learning based on contextual activity is the learning of PAI contextualist reconstructive, namely the creative effort in PAI learning to bring it closer to real life, so that PAI becomes applicable and implementative in accordance with life's demands. To achieve this, an understanding of the following matters is needed: 1) Understanding the meaning of PAI-based activities that are reconstructive contextualists; 2) The ability to choose the types of activities that are reconstructive contextualists; 3) The process of recycling a reconstructive contextual education process.
