Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore, from students’ perspective, how students perceived the service quality in International IslamicUniversity Malaysia (IIUM). A phenomenological method wasused; it is a naturalistic approach to acquire information on students experience about the service quality that they are feelingthrough open-ended questioner, interviews and observations.The result reveals that students perceived the service quality indifferent ways. The study found that the university is performingfairly enough in term of physical facilities and academic staff, butin term of administration staffs less than students’ expectation. Thestudy recommends university’s management to give attention to thefollowing issues: to improve the quality of staffs, to improve the security guard in this campus and to reform or refine the office of CPS and Finance. Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap manajemen kecakapan diri guru RA berprestasi yang berupa intra dan interpersonal di Yogyakarta, sehingga diperoleh guru RA yang berawal dari rasa tanggung jawab, berlanjut melaksanakan tugasnya dengan kecintaan yang dilandasi perasaan cinta, maka akan menumbuhkan sifat tidak mudah frustrasi bahkan putus asa, ikhlas, suka menolong, dan optimis. Rasa cinta kasih ini diwujudkan oleh peserta didik melalui rasa cintanya pada pekerjaan, cinta pada kebenaran, dan cinta kepada agama, negara serta bangsa. Guru yang mempunyai pandangan luas akan mampu memilih teknik yang tepat guna menghadapi keanekaragaman pada anak didiknya. Dengan adanya keanekaragaman tersebut, janganlah guru bersikap picik. Guru hendaknya menghargai beraneka ragam perbedaan yang ada disetiap individu peserta didiknya. Hal tersebut dilaksanakan agar proses pembelajaran bisa berhasil secara optimal. Seorang guru juga pandai bergaul dengan lingkungannya, terutama dengan anak didiknya. Guru yang pandai bergaul, akan dihormati dan akan dicintai oleh peserta didiknya. Pandai bergaul ini dapat dijalankan dengan pandai memposisikan dirinya, baik ketika bergaul dengan anak didik, wali atau orang tua anak didik, maupun masyarakat.This study aims to uncover the self-management skills of RA achievers in the form of intra and interpersonal in Yogyakarta, so that RA teachers who start from a sense of responsibility, continue to carry out their duties with love based on feelings of love, will foster the nature of not easily frustrated and even hopeless , sincere, like helping, and optimistic. This love is manifested by students through their love for work, love for truth, and love for religion, country and nation. Teachers who have broad views will be able to choose the right techniques to deal with diversity in their students. With this diversity, don't let the teacher be petty. Teachers should appreciate the diversity of differences that exist in each individual student. This is done so that the learning process can be optimally successful. A teacher is also good at getting along with his environment, especially with his students. Teachers who are good at getting along, will be respected and will be loved by their students. This sociable can be run by cleverly positioning himself, both when associating with students, guardians or parents of students, as well as the community.

Abstract

This study examines the curriculum of pesantren-based madrasahs as a support for the implementation of religious moderation, the traditions of santri (Islamic boarding school students) in practicing religious moderation, and the model of religious practices among santri in pesantren-based madrasahs. The research was conducted in Java, specifically in Madrasah al-Hidayat Lasem, Madrasah Qudsiyyah Kudus, MA KHAS Kempek Cirebon, Madrasah Aliyah Salafiyyah Syafi'iyyah Jombang, and Madrasah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Lirboyo Kediri. The study used a qualitative method with a post-positivist phenomenological paradigm. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion.The findings indicate that the strengthening of madrasa curriculum is integrated with the values of religious moderation, such as the development of lesson plans and teaching materials that incorporate moderation values. In addition, traditional pesantren books are used as learning resources to inculcate moderate attitudes. Pesantren traditions, such as following the example of elders, preserving local traditions, maintaining a culture of writing, and fostering a scholarly environment, also support the implementation of religious moderation. The synergy between madrasas and interfaith institutions provides opportunities for santri to interact with non-Muslims, promoting patriotism, tolerance, open-mindedness, and anti-fanaticism.Based on these data, the study formulates a model of religious practices for santri that integrates the curriculum and pesantren traditions in promoting religious moderation. This model is expected to serve as a guideline for pesantren-based madrasahs in raising a generation of moderate santri who can contribute positively to national and societal life.

Abstract

In this study, construct validity of mathematics self-efficacy was examined. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted and followedwith testing the correlation among the factor of mathematicsself-efficacy. The subjects in this study amounted to 89 studentwho participated in the fulfilling scale. The results show that theconstruct of mathematics self-efficacy consists of four dimensionsi.e mastery experience, vicarious experience, verbal persuasionand emotional-physiological state.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) pelaksanaan hidden curriculum berbasis pesantren dan pembentukan akhlaqul karimah siswa di SMK Cordova Kajen tahun 2019, (2)  seberapa besar pengaruh hidden curriculum berbasis pesantren terhadap pembentukan karakter akhlaqul karimah siswa di SMK Cordova Kajen Tahun 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Penentuan sampel menggunakan random sampling, yang diambil 20% dari jumlah populasi 312 siswa kelas X SMK Cordova Kajen, didapatkan sampel sebanyak 62 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, kuesioner, dan observasi. Sedangkan analisis yang dilakukan dengan mengggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hidden curriculum berbasis pesantren dan pembentukan akhlaqul karimah siswa di SMK Cordova Kajen tahun 2019 dalam kategori baik, dengan nilai 89,77, dan cukup baik, dengan nilai 85,56  serta (2) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara hidden curriculum berbasis pesantren dengan pembentukan karakter akhlaqul karimah siswa di SMK Cordova Kajen tahun 2019, di mana apabila hidden curriculum meningkat sebesar 1 satuan maka akhlaqul karimah siswa akan meningkat sebesar 0,439. Sehingga hidden curriculum berbasis pesantren memiliki pengaruh sebesar 19,27% terhadap pembentukan karakter akhlaqul karimah siswa di SMK Cordova Kajen tahun 2019.This study aimed to describe: (1) the implementation of the hidden curriculum  pesantren based and noble character building of student at SMK Cordova Kajen in 2019, (2) how big the effect of hidden curriculum pesantren based against noble character building of student at SMK Cordova Kajen in 2019. The research uses a quantitative method, and this research includes the study of field research. The samples using random sampling, was taken of 20% of population 312 student X grade of SMK Cordova at Kajen, obtained a sample of 62 student. The technique of collecting data through interview, questionnaire, and observation. While the analysis is done by simple linier regression. The results showed that: (1) the hidden curriculum pesantren based and noble character building  of student at SMK Cordova Kajen in 2019 in the category good at 89,77 and good enough at 85,65, and (2) there is a positive and significant influence of hidden curriculum pesantren based against noble character building of student at SMK Cordova Kajen in 2019, as if the score of hidden curriculum increased by 1 unit, the noble character of student will increase by 0,439. So the hidden curriculum of pesantren based contributes 19,27% of the noble character of student at SMK Cordova Kajen in 2019.

Abstract

This research aims to know the teacher academic support influence against the statistics anxiety and to know the influence of peer academic support against the statistics anxiety. The respondents in this study are 181 students of Islamic Psychology study program, Ushuluddin Department of State College on Islamic Studies (STAIN) Kediri. The data collection techniques used in this study is a questionnaire in the form of scale. There are two types of scales used in the process of collecting data, they are: (a) the statistical anxiety scale and (b) the scale of academic support. The data were analyzed using regression analysis. The results showed that the educator academic support gives a negative influence against the statistics anxiety (r =-0.47, R² = 0.17; p = 0.00). Similarly influential friends have a negative academic support against statistics anxiety (r =-0.22, R² = 0.02; p = 0.02).

Abstract

The Religious Literacy Movement as a Strategy for Developing Religious Character in Elementary School Students. The religious literacy movement is an activity that concentrates on sources of information related to religion. The existence of religious literacy is closely related to one's religious character, so that if religious literacy activities are driven, it will affect the increase in student religiosity. This study aims to describe the implementation of the religious literacy movement in elementary schools. The method used is qualitative in field research. Based on the results of research, the religious literacy movement is carried out on a daily, weekly or incidental basis. Daily prayers before and after studying, reading short letters, reading corners, dhuha and noon prayers. Then weekly activities, namely morning assembly filled with Islamic stories as well as reading verses of the Qur'an together and visiting the library. Incidental activities, namely the celebration of Islamic holidays, such as the splendor of Ramadan, Islamic boarding schools, Eid al-Fitr, Halal Bihalal and Isra Miraj commemoration. In the effort to implement the religious literacy movement, there are several supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Gerakan literasi keagamaan merupakan kegiatan yang berkonsentrasi pada sumber informasi yang berhubungan dengan agama. Keberadaan literasi keagamaan berkaitan erat dengan karakter religius seseorang, sehingga apabila kegiatan literasi keagamaan digerakkan, maka akan berpengaruh pada peningkatan religiusitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan gerakan literasi keagamaan di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dalam bentuk Field Research atau penelitian lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian gerakan literasi keagamaan dilaksanakan secara harian, mingguan maupun insidentil. Harian berupa berdoa sebelum dan sesudah belajar, membaca surat pendek, pojok baca, salat duha dan salat dzuhur. Kemudian kegiatan mingguan yaitu apel pagi yang diisi dengan cerita islami maupun membaca ayat Al-Qur’an secara bersama-sama dan kunjungan perpustakaan. Kegiatan insidentil yaitu perayaan hari besar islam, seperti semarak ramadhan, pesantren kilat, idul fitri, halal bihalal dan memperingati isra miraj. Dalam upaya pelaksanaan gerakan literasi keagamaan terdapat beberapa faktor pendukung maupun faktor penghambat.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mengetahui tipe kepribadian, faktor yang mempengaruhi, dan hasilnya dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru MIN Mlaten Kecamatan Mijen Kabupaten Demak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MIN Mlaten Kecamatan Mijen Kabupaten Demak. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan langkah-langkah yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, pelaporan data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Tipe kepribadian kepala MIN Mlaten Mijen Demak adalah termasuk kepribadian Tipe B, dimana beliau tidak pernah melakukan tekanan, 2) faktor yang mempengaruhi tipe kepribadian kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru MIN Mlaten Mijen Demak antara lain adanya  kebersamaan, kesepakatan awal kerja sama, faktor usia, memiliki semagat tinggi, peningkatan karir, tuntutan secara kedalam dan luar, yang terkait adanya outcome, persaingan di dunia pendidikan. 3) Hasil tipe kepribadian kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru MIN Mlaten Kecamatan Mijen Kabupaten Demak sangat memuaskan. Hal ini ditunjukan dari berbagai prestasi yang diraih.

Abstract

This study explores the experience of an Islamic education teacher in implementing differentiated assessments and analyzes their impact on students’ critical thinking development. A qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method was used to collect data through an in-depth interview with a PAI teacher at SMAN 7 Bandung, which was supported by relevant literature. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, display, and drawing conclusions. The results demonstrate that differentiated assessments provide students with opportunities to express their understanding in creative and reflective ways. This approach also promotes the development of Ennis’s five critical thinking indicators: clarification, basic support, inference, advanced argumentation, and self-regulation. The study concludes that differentiated assessment significantly enhances students’ critical thinking skills in Islamic religious education.
