Abstract

Time management skills are important abilities for students and novice workers in facing academic demands as well as the world of work. However, many individuals still experience difficulties in managing their time effectively, such as procrastination, lack of prioritization, and poorly structured activity management. This program aims to provide basic time management training to students through interactive methods such as discussions, simulations, and hands-on practice. The results of the activities show an increase in participants' understanding of how to set priorities, create schedules, and improve productivity. Participants also show behavioral changes, becoming more disciplined and organized in completing tasks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of religious character education through congregational Dhuha prayer activities at SMK YPM 12 Tuban. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews with teachers as key informants. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of congregational Dhuha prayers is carried out in a scheduled and structured manner as part of the student religious habituation program, which is carried out routinely every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and every day during the month of Ramadan. This activity is also integrated with the study of the book as an effort to deepen students' religious understanding. Although legally Dhuha prayer is sunnah, in the school context this activity is institutionally mandatory as a form of character education strategy. Implementation is strictly monitored by teachers through a structured system, and supported by the imposition of light sanctions that are educational in nature for students who do not participate in the activity. The results of the study indicate that the habituation of congregational Dhuha prayers can improve students' discipline, responsibility, and spiritual awareness, while also forming good morals and reducing negative behavior. Thus, this activity serves not only as a form of worship but also as an effective means of internalizing religious values ​​and shaping students' overall character in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study evaluates the transformation of communication models from linear to transactional through the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) at SMA MBS Zam-Zam Muhammadiyah Banyumas, aimed at addressing low student motivation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data were gathered through participant observation, documentation, and literature reviews of four primary projects: folklore drama performances, biography writing, book reviews, and potentialsite observations at Situ Elok. The findings reveal that PjBL implementation successfully dismantled the "sacred prison" stigma caused by the monotony of boarding school routines. The transactional model positions students as active subjects who coconstruct "shared meaning" through multidirectional interactions with teachers, the community, and local policymakers. This transformation significantly enhanced students' enthusiasm, self-confidence, and critical thinking skills by providing authentic and applicable learning experiences. In conclusion, reorienting from teacher-centered to humanistic and contextual student-centered learning is essential for effective language education in modern Islamic boarding school environments.

Abstract

This study discusses the limited availability of interactive media used in elementary schools to promote deep learning. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive learning media using Articulate Storyline 3 based on the ADDIE model. This study employs a development approach, with data collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires involving teachers and students. The developed media was found to be valid, practical, and effective, as indicated by increased student engagement and understanding during the learning process. The inclusion of interactive components helps enhance meaningful learning experiences and improve students’ enthusiasm. The findings of this study show that technology-based media can support deeper learning in elementary school students. In conclusion, the developed media is suitable for implementation and can improve the quality of learning outcomes.

Abstract

Religion in Indonesia is still colored by the practice of intolerance in the academic space, so that the internalization of Islamic values in the learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is an urgent need so that students are able to develop Islamic characters that are relevant to real life. This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing Islamic values in the material Building Unity in Diversity with a qualitative approach to 10 students at one of the universities in Makassar. The results of the study show that internalization takes place through the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor realms so that students not only understand the concept of diversity theoretically but also live and practice it. The manifestation of values can be seen from student behavior, while the implications of the research emphasize the importance of developing a PAI curriculum that is oriented towards the formation of Islamic character.

Abstract

This research is motivated by field observations that indicate that the introduction of sex education to children aged 5–6 years at Permata Bunda Kindergarten in Teluk Leban Village has not been running optimally. Children's knowledge regarding sex education is still relatively low, so some children do not understand the basic concepts of sex education. This condition has the potential to increase children's vulnerability, both as victims and perpetrators of violence and sexual deviation. Therefore, innovative efforts are needed in learning that can effectively improve children's understanding, one of which is through the use of interesting and interactive learning media. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the use of busy books on the introduction of sex education to early childhood at Permata Bunda Kindergarten in Teluk Leban. The type of research used is quantitative research with an experimental design using a pretest-posttest one group design. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling, resulting in group B1 with 25 children as the research sample. Data collection was carried out through observation sheets, while data analysis included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using paired sample t-tests. The results showed that the use of busy books had a positive and significant influence on the introduction of sex education to early childhood. This is indicated by an increase in scores from the pretest stage of 452 with an average of 18.08 to 674 in the posttest stage with an average of 26.96. In addition, the results of the hypothesis test using a paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means there is a significant difference between before and after treatment. The paired sample correlation value of 0.87 indicates that the influence given is in the very strong category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of busy book media has a significant effect in increasing the introduction of sex education to early childhood at Permata Bunda Kindergarten

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas strategi dakwah kultural yang dilakukan oleh Walisongo dalam proses Islamisasi di Jawa dengan meninjau aspek historis serta otentisitas ajaran Islam yang disampaikan. Islam tidak disebarkan melalui pendekatan koersif, melainkan melalui strategi dakwah yang persuasif dan adaptif terhadap budaya lokal masyarakat Jawa. Saluran utama Islamisasi meliputi perdagangan, perkawinan, dan seni budaya, yang masing-masing berperan penting dalam membentuk penerimaan sosial terhadap ajaran Islam. Para Walisongo memanfaatkan interaksi ekonomi, hubungan sosial melalui perkawinan, serta media seni seperti wayang, gamelan, dan tradisi lokal sebagai sarana dakwah yang efektif. Pendekatan kultural ini menunjukkan kemampuan Walisongo dalam mengakomodasi nilai-nilai lokal tanpa menghilangkan substansi ajaran Islam. Dengan metode historis-analitis, artikel ini menegaskan bahwa dakwah kultural Walisongo tidak hanya berkontribusi pada keberhasilan Islamisasi di Jawa, tetapi juga menjaga otentisitas ajaran Islam dalam bingkai budaya lokal. Abstract

Character education is an important aspect of learning in elementary schools, especially in shaping students’ personalities from an early age. One effective approach is integrating local cultural values into the learning process. This study aims to examine the forms of implementation of local culture-based character education, the values developed, and its effectiveness based on previous studies. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the PRISMA guidelines. Data were collected from Google Scholar, SINTA, and Garuda, with 100 articles identified at the initial stage and 25 articles selected after the screening process based on inclusion criteria. The results show that the implementation of character education based on local culture is carried out through classroom learning, school culture and habituation, extracurricular activities, and the development of learning media and teaching materials. The character values developed include religiosity, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, tolerance, and social awareness. Overall, this approach is proven to be effective in improving students’ knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. However, there are still several challenges, such as limited facilities, teacher competence, and students’ awareness. Therefore, support from various stakeholders is needed to optimize its implementation. This study is expected to serve as a reference for developing local culture-based character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Mathematics is often perceived as a difficult and complicated subject by students at various levels of education. This negative stigma has an impact on low motivation, self-confidence and learning outcomes. This research aims to examine students' stigma towards learning mathematics through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The articles studied come from national journals that are relevant to the topic of mathematics perception and learning. The results of the study show that mathematics stigma is influenced by less varied learning methods, unpleasant learning experiences, as well as students' psychological factors. Therefore, more contextual and innovative learning strategies are needed to reduce the negative stigma towards mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis berbagai tantangan sekaligus peluang yang dihadapi guru muda dari Generasi Z ketika mengajar peserta didik Generasi Alpha dalam konteks pembelajaran modern. Generasi Alpha yang lahir dan berkembang di era digital memiliki ciri khas seperti ketergantungan tinggi pada teknologi, preferensi belajar visual dan interaktif, serta rentang perhatian yang relatif singkat. Kondisi ini menjadi tantangan, namun juga membuka peluang bagi guru muda yang cenderung lebih adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur, observasi, dan analisis deskriptif dari berbagai sumber ilmiah relevan. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 25 siswa kelas VIII sebagai representası Generasi Alpha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tantangan berupa perbedaan gaya belajar, gangguan dari teknologi digital, serta tuntutan inovasi pembelajaran berkelanjutan. Namun, terdapat peluang besar dalam pemanfaatan strategi digital, seperti media interaktif dan platform daring. Oleh sebab itu, guru perlu menyeimbangkan kompetensi pedagogik dan digital.
