Abstract

Rural communities in many developing countries face persistent economic vulnerability due to limited access to technology, information, and market networks. This study aims to examine how the integration of digital media literacy and participatory education can contribute to rural economic empowerment. The research employs a qualitative approach using Participatory Action Research (PAR) conducted in Bringin Village, Tuban Regency, Indonesia. Community members, including youth groups, housewives, village officials, and BUMDes managers, were actively involved in the research process through participatory observation, focus group discussions, and semi-structured interviews. The intervention included digital marketing training, local product processing, and mentoring in social media-based entrepreneurship using soursop as a local resource. The findings indicate that digital literacy training significantly improved community capacity to market products independently, expand market reach, and increase the added value of local commodities. The emergence of the “Sirsak Toyyib” initiative illustrates how digital platforms can transform traditional agricultural products into marketable micro-enterprises. This study contributes to the development of a community empowerment model that integrates participatory education, local cultural values, and digital technology. The findings suggest that combining participatory approaches with digital literacy initiatives can foster sustainable economic transformation in marginalized rural communities.

Abstract

This study examines the psychospiritual development of students in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), focusing on how religious habituation, internalization of spiritual values, and social dynamics influence students' psychological well-being and religious motivation. The literature review synthesizes findings from previous studies on the role of religious practices such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, and dhikr in shaping students' spiritual awareness and identity. Psychospiritual development in pesantren is shown to be an integrative process, affecting both spiritual and psychological dimensions, including concentration, self-regulation, and emotional stability. The study also explores the role of social factors, such as peer attachment and social support, in reinforcing religiosity and promoting psychological resilience. Additionally, it highlights the importance of religiosity in fostering hope, life satisfaction, and resilience, which contribute to students' subjective well-being. This paper proposes a conceptual model of psychospiritual development in pesantren, illustrating the interaction between religious habituation, value internalization, psychological regulation, and social support. The study concludes that psychospiritual development is a gradual and transformative process that evolves from external ritual compliance to intrinsic religious motivation, contributing to a sustainable form of religious consciousness among students.

Abstract

Female-headed households represent a socially and economically vulnerable group due to limited access to capital, employment opportunities, and social support. Productive zakat programs implemented by Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) are designed not only to assist beneficiaries in meeting basic needs but also to promote long-term economic independence. A holistic empowerment approach that integrates economic, social, and psychological dimensions is considered essential so that the program contributes not only to income improvement but also to strengthening individual capacity and social positioning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the productive zakat program implemented by BAZNAS Banyumas Regency in empowering female-headed households through an integrated economic, social, and psychological empowerment approach. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research design. The research population includes female-headed household beneficiaries of the productive zakat program, BAZNAS administrators, and business mentors. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed thematically through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the productive zakat program generates positive impacts across multiple dimensions of empowerment. Economically, the program increases income, strengthens business independence, and expands access to capital and markets. Socially, it enhances social participation and strengthens local organizational networks. Psychologically, beneficiaries demonstrate improved self-confidence, greater decision-making capacity, active participation, and stronger mental resilience. The productive zakat program proves to be an effective instrument for empowering female-headed households. Program sustainability should be strengthened through continuous business mentoring, integration of psychosocial support, and expansion of market networks to ensure long-term empowerment outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of e-government implementation and bureaucratic accountability on public trust in public services in Ambon City. Digital transformation in governance requires transparent, efficient, and accountable systems to build public trust. A quantitative approach with a survey design was used, involving 400 respondents selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with a 5 point Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that e-government implementation positively and significantly affects public trust, with a regression coefficient of 0.368 (t = 8.745; p = 0.000). Bureaucratic accountability also significantly affects public trust, with a regression coefficient of 0.412 (t = 9.832; p = 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on public trust, with an F value of 187.542 (p = 0.000) and an R² of 48.6%. The findings suggest that bureaucratic accountability plays a more dominant role than e government in shaping public trust. This study recommends a synergy between the development of digital systems and strengthening accountability practices to enhance public service quality and increase trust in local governments.

Abstract

The growing urgency of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has highlighted the need for innovative educational models that integrate ethical values with practical actions, particularly within faith-based institutions. Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) possess strong potential to contribute to sustainability through their integrative educational systems, yet the connection between religious values and sustainable economic practices remains insufficiently explored. This study aims to analyze the integration of ecotheology education into entrepreneurship practices, examine the process of value internalization, and evaluate its implications for SDG-oriented character development among students. A qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design was employed at an Islamic boarding school in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving 15 key informants, and analyzed using thematic analysis supported by NVivo software. The findings reveal that the integration occurs through a three-dimensional approach—curricular, cultural, and operational—enabling the transformation of ecotheological values into sustainable entrepreneurial practices. The internalization process follows a cyclical pattern involving value formation, habituation, implementation, and reflection, resulting in the emergence of a Santri Ecopreneur profile characterized by ecological awareness, economic competence, and social responsibility. This study concludes that ecotheology-based entrepreneurship provides a viable and replicable model for linking religious education with sustainable development practices, contributing both theoretically to integrative Islamic education and practically to the advancement of SDGs at the community level.

Abstract

Penetapan usia minimum perkawinan merupakan isu penting dalam hukum keluarga Islam kontemporer karena berkaitan erat dengan perlindungan hak anak, hak perempuan, serta tujuan kemaslahatan hukum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep usia perkawinan dalam perspektif fiqh klasik Sunni serta menelaah relevansinya terhadap penetapan batas usia numerik dalam hukum modern melalui pendekatan maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif normatif dengan desain doctrinal legal research, serta didukung oleh analisis komparatif terhadap pandangan mazhab fiqh dan perkembangan hukum keluarga modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fiqh klasik tidak menetapkan batas usia minimum perkawinan secara numerik, melainkan mendasarkan kebolehan perkawinan pada indikator baligh, kecakapan hukum (ahliyyah), peran wali, serta prinsip pencegahan mudarat. Ketiadaan batas usia numerik tersebut bukan merupakan kekosongan normatif, melainkan mencerminkan pendekatan fiqh yang kontekstual dan berorientasi pada tujuan hukum. Melalui kerangka maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, khususnya perlindungan jiwa, akal, keturunan, dan martabat manusia, penetapan batas usia minimum dalam hukum modern dapat dipahami sebagai bentuk maṣlaḥah mursalah yang sejalan dengan tujuan syariat. Dengan demikian, pembatasan usia perkawinan dalam konteks kontemporer bukanlah penyimpangan dari fiqh, melainkan aktualisasi nilai-nilai syariat dalam merespons perubahan sosial, perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, dan kebutuhan perlindungan anak, sehingga mendukung harmonisasi antara fiqh klasik dan hukum keluarga modern.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) is an educational approach that emphasizes both cognitive understanding and mastery of spiritual values. In addition to this, IRE plays a crucial role in developing students' soft skills and nurturing their entrepreneurial spirit. In the context of Society 5.0, which is defined by technological advancements and human-centered innovation, students must be equipped with key competencies such as communication, creativity, collaboration, and decision-making, all grounded in religious values. Integrating IRE into the learning process allows students to cultivate empathy, responsibility, discipline, and a strong work ethic, which are essential for entrepreneurial success. This article aims to explore how adaptive and innovative IRE approaches can foster spiritual awareness and strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset of students in the face of global challenges. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, based on a literature study. The results show that the integration of Islamic values in IRE not only enhances students' spiritual development but also plays a significant role in their entrepreneurial growth. These findings emphasize that IRE provides a strategic framework for developing a more relevant educational ecosystem that can effectively address the evolving demands of the Society 5.0 era. By aligning Islamic values with entrepreneurial education, IRE contributes to creating well-rounded, socially responsible students prepared for success in the modern, technology-driven world.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan ketercapaian tujuan pendidikan, namun kualitas evaluasi sangat bergantung pada validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen yang digunakan. Dalam praktiknya, masih banyak instrumen penilaian yang belum melalui analisis empiris secara komprehensif, sehingga berpotensi menghasilkan pengukuran yang bias. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas instrumen penilaian akhir semester pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadits melalui pendekatan Model Rasch yang dipadukan dengan analisis faktor, yaitu Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) dan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 253 peserta didik kelas VII di MTsN 2 Kota Bukittinggi. Instrumen yang dianalisis terdiri dari 50 butir soal pilihan majemuk, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS dan JASP untuk menguji validitas konstruk dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen memiliki karakteristik unidimensional berdasarkan analisis EFA, serta mengalami peningkatan kesesuaian model setelah dilakukan modifikasi pada tahap CFA, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nilai indeks fit dan penurunan nilai RMSEA. Selain itu, hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,791 yang mengindikasikan konsistensi internal yang baik. Dengan demikian, instrumen yang dianalisis memiliki kualitas yang memadai untuk digunakan dalam evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi Model Rasch dengan EFA dan CFA memberikan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif dalam mengevaluasi kualitas instrumen, serta disarankan agar pengembangan instrumen dilakukan secara sistematis dan mencakup berbagai ranah kemampuan peserta didik.

Abstract

The rapid transformation of education in the digital and global era requires approaches that not only emphasize cognitive achievement but also integrate moral and spiritual development, particularly in Islamic higher education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic-based holistic learning management in private Islamic universities in Jambi Province, focusing on how academic, moral, and spiritual dimensions are integrated, as well as identifying the challenges and opportunities encountered. This study employed a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and curriculum document analysis, while triangulation techniques were used to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings. The results indicate that Islamic values-based holistic learning management enhances student engagement, motivation, and overall well-being by integrating values such as tawhid and ihsan into the learning process, while also emphasizing the need for curriculum reform that balances intellectual, character, and spiritual development. However, the study identifies several challenges, including limited technological infrastructure, insufficient human resource capacity, and resistance to change among educators. Overall, this study concludes that Islamic-based holistic learning management provides a relevant and effective approach to addressing contemporary educational challenges, although its successful implementation requires strong institutional commitment, investment in digital infrastructure, continuous professional development, and strengthened collaboration with communities and international partners.

Abstract

Kurikulum pendidikan Islam di Indonesia terus mengalami transformasi seiring dengan dinamika globalisasi dan tuntutan pengembangan karakter peserta didik sejak usia dini. Dalam konteks ini, pendekatan humanistik menjadi penting karena mampu mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif, emosional, sosial, dan spiritual dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sejarah pendidikan Islam sebagai landasan konseptual dalam transformasi kurikulum yang lebih humanistik, serta mengkaji bagaimana literasi statistik dapat digunakan untuk memperkuat evaluasi efektivitas pendidikan Islam pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melalui pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam dengan pendidik dan analisis dokumen kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan humanistik berkontribusi terhadap penguatan karakter dan perkembangan sosial-emosional peserta didik, sementara perspektif sejarah pendidikan Islam memberikan legitimasi konseptual yang memperkuat integrasi nilai dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, literasi statistik berperan dalam mendukung evaluasi pembelajaran secara lebih objektif dan berbasis data. Integrasi ketiga pendekatan tersebut menghasilkan model pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual, adaptif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa transformasi kurikulum pendidikan Islam perlu diarahkan pada pendekatan yang holistik dan evidence-based, dengan dukungan sistemik serta kolaborasi multipihak untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara berkelanjutan.
