Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran bahasa pada program Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA). Penelitian studi kasus ini berlokus di salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri di Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Universitas AKM menerapkan beberapa strategi pembelajaran BIPA yang sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip peran bahasa. Dalam implementasinya, Universitas AKM mengintegrasikan program BIPA dengan skema pembelajaran berbasis asrama sehingga mahasiswa peserta program BIPA memiliki lebih banyak pengalaman terhadap bahasa sasaran yang dipelajari, yaitu Bahasa Indonesia.This study aims to describe the role of language in the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program. This case study research focuses on one of the state universities in East Java. The results of the study show that AKM University applies several BIPA learning strategies that are in line with the principles of the role of language. In its implementation, AKM University integrates the BIPA program with a dormitory-based learning scheme so that students participating in the BIPA program have more experience with the target language being studied, namely Indonesian.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the similarities and differences in the forms of idioms containing BTM elements in BV and BI and (2) the similarities and differences in the meanings of idioms containing BTM elements in BV and BI. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a contrastive analysis method. The results of this study indicate that (1) in terms of form there are, (a) idioms with the same form and meaning, (b) idioms with the same form but different meanings, and (c) idioms with different forms, but the same meaning in BV and BI ; (2) in terms of meaning, there are similarities and differences (a) full meaning and partial meaning, (b) context meaning, and (c) value meaning. The results of this study can be used as teaching materials for BIPA learning, especially for students from Vietnam.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) persamaan dan perbedaan bentuk idiom yang berunsur BTM pada BV dan BI dan (2) persamaan dan perbedaan makna idiom yang berunsur BTM pada BV dan BI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kulaitatif dengan metode analisis kontrastif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) dari segi bentuknya terdapat, (a) idiom yang sama bentuk dan makna, (b) idiom yang sama bentuk tetapi maknanya berbeda, dan (c) idiom yang beda bentuk, tetapi maknanya sama dalam BV dan BI; (2) dari segi maknanya terdapat persamaan dan perbedaan (a) makna penuh dan makna sebagian, (b) makna konteks, dan (c) makna nilai. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan ajar pembelajaran BIPA, khususnya bagi pemelajar dari Vietnam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' reading interests based on economic background and family education. The population of this study was 203 students of SMP Negeri 3 Tarowang, Jeneponto, South Sulawesi. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that (1) students' reading interests based on family economic background and family educational background were in the moderate category, (2) there were significant differences in students' reading interests based on family economic background, and (3) there were significant differences in students' reading interest. based on family educational background. This finding indicates that economic factors and family background have a relationship with the level of students' reading interest.Penelitian ini bertujuan unuk menganalisis minat baca siswa berdasarkan latar belakang ekonomi dan pendidikan keluarga. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 203 siswa SMP Negeri 3 Tarowang, Jeneponto, Sulawesi Selatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  (1) minat baca siswa berdasarkan latar belakang ekonomi keluarga dan latar belakang pendidikan keluarga berada pada kategori sedang, (2) terdapat perbedaan signifikan minat baca siswa berdasarkan latar belakang ekonomi keluarga, dan (3) terdapat perbedaan signifikan minat baca siswa berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan keluarga.  Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor ekonomi dan latar belakang keluarga memiliki hubungan dengan tingkat minat baca siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perlawanan perempuan dari sudut pandang gender dan sosial pada novel PeRempuan karya Maman Suherman. Penelitian kualitatif ini berfokus pada teori post-feminisme milik Rosalind Gill and Christina Scharff. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa institusi dan nilai-nilai dalam masyarakat modern terlihat melemahkan dan kuno karena masih berlandaskan pada identitas gender perempuan; mengatur tingkah perempuan untuk dapat diterima dalam masyarakat. Balas dendam perempuan melalui pendidikan dan sikap tenang ini kemudian dimaknai sebagai sebuah respons, reaksi, dan perlawanan untuk memperoleh kesetaraan dalam kemanusiaan.This study aims to describe women's resistance from a gender and social perspective in the novel Women by Maman Suherman. This qualitative research focuses on the post-feminism theory of Rosalind Gill and Christina Scharff. The results of the research show that institutions and values in modern society are seen as weak and old-fashioned because they are still based on women's gender identity; regulate the behavior of women to be accepted in society. Women's revenge through education and calm attitude is then interpreted as a response, reaction, and resistance to obtain equality in humanity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of online learning in Indonesian Language Courses (MKBI). The evaluation uses the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) model. This qualitative research design uses descriptive evaluative. Data collection instruments used closed questionnaires, structured interviews, and documentation. Data processing techniques refer to the Guttman scale. The results showed the average value of the context evaluation aspects (0.92), input evaluation (0.85), process evaluation (0.86), and product evaluation (0.90). So, it can be concluded that MKBI's online learning at IKIP Siliwangi is very appropriate and effective.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran daring pada Mata Kuliah Bahasa Indonesia (MKBI). Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP). Desain penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan deskriptif evaluatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan data merujuk pada skala Guttman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rerata aspek evaluasi konteks (0,92), evaluasi input (0,85), evaluasi proses (0,86), dan evaluasi produk (0,90). Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran daring MKBI di IKIP Siliwangi sudah sangat sesuai dan efektif.

Abstract

It is interesting to study Sumur Tanpa Dasar's drama script as it contains many symbols describing conflicts between the characters and God. This study aimed to describe religious values in the drama script. The study used a descriptive research design. Data was collected through reading and note-taking techniques. Instruments of the study were arranged according to criteria of 3 aspects of religious values; faith, living standards, and attitude. The data was validated by conducting extended observation and increasing the reading routine. The data was analyzed by: grouping into data of religious values; elaborating the data; concluding the data; and displaying the data. This study ended up with a concept that religious values could not be seen from the physical appearance, but more essentially could be seen from attitude and behavior as the manifestation of a pure heart. Religious values in STD drama scripts emerged in 3 aspects; faith, life standard, and attitude aspects.Naskah drama Sumur Tanpa Dasar menarik untuk dikaji karena menampilkan banyak simbol yang menggambarkan pergulatan para tokoh dengan Tuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai religius dalam naskah drama tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pembacaan dan teknik pencatatan. Instrumen penelitian disusun berdasarkan kriteria tiga aspek nilai religius, yaitu keimanan, norma kehidupan, dan sikap perilaku. Teknik keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan pengamatan dan meningkatkan ketekunan pembacaan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara: mengelompokkan data nilai religius; menguraikan data; menyimpulkan data; dan menyajikan data. Penelitian ini menghasilkan satu konsep bahwa nilai religius tidak bisa hanya dilihat dari tampilan fisik saja, tetapi yang lebih esensial adalah kejernihan hati nurani yang mengejawantah melalui tutur dan laku. Nilai religius dalam STD muncul dalam tiga aspek yaitu aspek keimanan, norma kehidupan, dan aspek sikap perilaku.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the influence of the group investigation method assisted by audiovisual media and the expository method on writing skills. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The experimental design used is factorial design. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sample technique. The instruments used to collect data were performance tests and questionnaire sheets. Based on the research conducted, it was concluded that the group investigation method assisted by audiovisual media influenced the news text writing skills of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. This media can be used by teachers in other writing lessons.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh metode group investigation berbantuan media audiovisual dan metode ekspositori terhadap keterampilan menulis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah factorial design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sample. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa tes unjuk kerja dan lembar angket. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa metode group investigation berbantuan media audiovisual memengaruhi keterampilan menulis teks berita siswa kelas kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. Media ini dapat digunakan oleh para guru pada pembelajaran menulis lainnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to describe Ahmad Tohari's creative imagination in composing literary works. Data was collected through interviews and document studies. The validity of the data is carried out through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results of the study show Islamic ideology, and family as Ahmad Tohari's creative imagination in composing literary works. The beginning of Ahmad Tohari's writing journey was of course also heavily influenced by the family environment which had instilled the traits and character of a santri, even though Ahmad Tohari did not study at a pesantren. It was this background that made him close to the Nahdlatul Ulama and the big kiai with strong friendships. Ahmad Tohari also tries to continue to search for the meaning of life which is represented in the characters in the short stories. Islam is used as a source of life guidelines for ethics and aesthetics in the texts written by Ahmad Tohari.Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mendeskripsikan imajinasi kreatif Ahmad Tohari dalam menyusun karya sastra. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan studi dokumen. Keabsahan data dilakukan melaluiFocus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ideologi Islam, keluarga sebagai imajinasi kreatif Ahmad Tohari dalam menyusun karya sastra. Kebermulaan dari perjalanan menulis Ahmad Tohari tentunya juga banyak dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan keluarga yang telah menanamkan sifat dan karakter seperti halnya seorang santri, walaupun Ahmad Tohari tidak belajar di pesantren. Latar belakang itulah yang membuat ia dekat dengan kalangan Nahdlatul Ulama dan kiai besar dengan hubungan silaturahmi yang kuat. Ahmad Tohari juga berupaya terus melakukan pencarian makna hidup yang diwakilkan ke dalam tokoh-tokoh di dalam cerpen. Agama Islam dijadikan sebagai sumber pedoman hidup bagi etika dan estetika di dalam teks-teks yang ditulis oleh Ahmad Tohari.

Abstract

In 2010, the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) declared a campaign against the most well-known trickster fable or folktale in Indonesia, Si Kancil. They urged for Si Kancil’s removal from the reading materials for young children in schools. This article aims to provide a literature review relating to the arguments over the campaign to remove or preserve Si Kancil from Indonesian schools. A comparative literature review is used to compare the arguments over trickster folktales’ impact on children and how Si Kancil was put within this context. This article concludes that Si Kancil should not have been blamed for the difficulties of eradicating corruption in Indonesia. Si Kancil can benefit the cognitive and metacognitive development of Indonesian school children. It is also suggested that Si Kancil, as an Indonesian cultural artifact, should be preserved and indeed celebrated as reading material in Indonesian schools and bedtime storytelling.Pada tahun 2010, Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) mendeklarasikan kampanye melawan fabel atau cerita rakyat hewan cerdik yang paling terkenal di Indonesia, Si Kancil. Si Kancil mengajarkan manipulasi dan tipu muslihat kepada anak-anak Indonesia. KPK mendesak agar Si Kancil dihapus dari bahan bacaan untuk anak-anak di sekolah. Artikel ini bertujuan memberikan kajian pustaka berkenaan dengan argumen penghapusan atau pelestarian cerita Si Kancil di sekolah. Metode tinjauan pustaka komparatif dipergunakan dalam rangka membandingkan argumen tentang dampak Si Kancil pada anak-anak. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seharusnya Si Kancil tidak dipersalahkan atas sulitnya pemberantasan korupsi di Indonesia. Di sisi lain, dongeng Si Kancil justru dapat bermanfaat bagi perkembangan kognitif dan metakognitif siswa di Indonesia. Malah disarankan agar Si Kancil sebagai artefak budaya Indonesia untuk dilestarikan dan dirayakan sebagai bahan bacaan di sekolah-sekolah Indonesia dan dongeng pengantar tidur.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of sociolinguistics in language impoliteness in social media. To achieve this goal, this study uses the method of literature study. The research data is in the form of scientific articles, proceedings, and books sourced from Google Scholar, the libgen.is page, and Publish or Perish. Data were analyzed using exposition techniques and content analysis. The validity of the data is achieved through the technique of credibility (degree of trust). The results of the study show that impoliteness in the language is a form of moral degradation that occurs in society. This degradation occurs because the role of oneself, family, environment, and society has not been maximized in creating a positive communication atmosphere so character education needs to be implemented to minimize these problems. Sociolinguistics has a strategic role in regulating human behavior in language so that harmonious relationships are established.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran sosiolinguistik dalam ketidaksantunan berbahasa di media sosial. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur. Data penelitian ini berupa artikel ilmiah, prosiding, dan buku yang bersumber dari Google Scholar, laman libgen.is, dan Publish or Perish. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik eksposisi dan analisis isi. Keabsahan data ditempuh melalui derajat kepercayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketidaksantunan dalam berbahasa menjadi salah satu bentuk degradasi moral yang terjadi di masyarakat. Degradasi tersebut terjadi karena belum maksimalnya peran diri sendiri, keluarga, lingkungan, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan suasana komunikasi yang positif sehingga pendidikan karakter perlu diterapkan untuk meminimalisasi problematik tersebut. Sosiolinguistik memiliki peran yang strategis dalam mengatur perilaku manusia dalam berbahasa agar terjalin hubungan yang harmonis.
