Abstract

Pemilihan jurusan pendidikan tinggi merupakan keputusan penting bagi siswa, karena secara signifikan mempengaruhi keberhasilan akademik mereka dan lintasan karir masa depan. Strategi efektif yang dapat membantu siswa dalam proses pengambilan keputusan ini adalah penerapan penilaian minat dan bakat. Penilaian ini dirancang dengan cermat untuk mengevaluasi berbagai dimensi, termasuk kemampuan kognitif, minat pribadi, bakat bawaan, dan ciri-ciri kepribadian, sehingga menawarkan pemahaman komprehensif tentang diri potensial siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  untuk menganalisis prinsip-prinsip dasar yang mendasari penilaian minat dan bakat dan untuk mengevaluasi kemanjuran mereka dalam membantu siswa dalam memilih jurusan yang sesuai. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyandingkan pemanfaatan penilaian minat dan bakat di Indonesia dan Malaysia dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi praktik yang patut dicontoh. Metodologi yang digunakan terdiri dari tinjauan literatur, menganalisis 18 artikel ilmiah yang bersumber dari Google Scholar dan diterbitkan dalam dekade terakhir. Temuan yang diperoleh dari analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian minat dan bakat memberikan kontribusi besar pada proses spesialisasi siswa, karena mereka dapat secara efektif membimbing mereka menuju pilihan pendidikan yang lebih pas yang selaras dengan karakteristik individu. Kesimpulan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mengintegrasikan penilaian minat dan bakat ke dalam kerangka bimbingan dan konseling dalam lembaga pendidikan sebagai strategi untuk perencanaan pendidikan dan karir.

Abstract

For Indonesia, the COVID-19 virus is a challenge with very high complexity, thus it requires quality leadership and is able to face the complexities of leadership that is able to deal with situations like today. Currently the government has made a policy in the form of PSBB as a solution to limit and suppress the transmission of COVID-19, so consistency is needed both in its implementation. Without consistency, the implementation of the bureaucracy will be chaotic without direction, and can reduce public confidence in the government. There is an implied meaning that the leader is not born biologically but ideologically forged. Therefore, a leader develops and is formed from a socio-cultural background in a society. In another way, environmental conditions that can directly shape the character of leadership in a society. The more complex a social life system is, the more leadership is needed to adapt and to overcome the complex challenges.

Abstract

The accuracy of the badminton specialization students' smash is still far from what is expected, this is evident from where students when doing a smash just insert the shuttlecock into the opponent's area so they don't pay attention to the accuracy of the smash done. The weakness of the students is that they are not aware of the footwork function. This research is a type of correlational research that aims to determine the degree of relationship between footwork and grip strength  with smash accuracy in badminton. The population of this study were students of specialization badminton courses. The sample in this study were students specializing in badminton, totaling 35 people with a  total sampling technique. Data was collected by measuring the footwork through a footwork ability test, and grip strength was measured using the hand grip dynamometer. While the smash ability is measured through the smash test. Data analysis and hypothesis testing 1 and 2 used a simple correlation analysis technique, while hypothesis 3 used a multiple correlation analysis technique with a significant level= 0.05. From the data analysis, the following results were obtained: 1)Footwork has a significant relationship with the ability to smash in badminton, 2) Grip strength has a significant relationship with smash ability in badminton, 3) Footwork and grip strength together have a relationship with the accuracy of smash in the badminton game.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of (1) Training on the Performance of UPTD Public Health Center Pondok Tinggi Employees (2) Work Ability on Employee Performance UPTD Pondok Tinggi Public Health Center (3) Organizational Commitment to Employee Performance UPTD Pondok Tinggi Health Center (4) Training, Work Ability and Organizational Commitment have a joint effect on the Employee Performance of Sungai Liuk Community Health Center, Pesisir Bukit District.Population and samples in this research whole There are 70 employees of the Pondok Tinggi Health Center UPTD. The results of this study indicate that (1)Training has a positive significant effect on the performance of UPTD Public Health Center Pondok Tinggi employees (2) Work ability provide a positive influence on the performance of UPTD Public Health Center Pondok Tinggi employees (3) Organizational Commitment has a negative influence on the performance of UPTD Public Health Center Pondok Tinggi employees (4) Training, Employability and Organizational Commitment jointly have a positive effect on the employee performance of Sungai Liuk Community Health Center, Pesisir Bukit District.

Abstract

An instrument must be verified for validity and dependability to produce accurate research data for conclusions based on actual circumstances. This investigation seeks to establish the validity and reliability of badminton smash accuracy. The population of this study was thirty respondents. The sampling method employed purposive sampling with a sample size of 24 respondents. Data collection of smash accuracy using the Shaleh Anasir smash accuracy test, testing the validity of smash accuracy by correlating the results of the Shaleh Anasir smash accuracy test with the developed smash accuracy test, and testing the reliability of smash accuracy by linking the results of the first test and the second test of smash accuracy. Based on the collected data analysis, the level of validity of badminton smash accuracy is 0.84, which is excellent, while the level of reliability of the smash accuracy test is 0.78, which is acceptable

Abstract

Technology is advancing every day and there is no stopping to it. It plays a vital role in our daily lives which includes in education field. The use of technology is massively implemented in classrooms as teaching strategies. Old teaching strategies such as visual aids are often improvised to match with the students’ interest. Teachers would usually find it difficult to teach students who are digital natives and demand a much more familiar and casual learning environment. It is also significant for teachers to equip the students with all 21st century skills in an ESL classroom. The students would prefer if the teachers could teach using any technological tools.  Infographics is one of the visual aids that integrates the use of technology. Online application such as Easel.ly can be used to strengthen teaching and learning sessions. Hence, this paper reviewed on the effectiveness of using infographics in developing 21st century skills in an ESL context.

Abstract

Underlying this present study was the importance of increasing the learning motivation of students who were expelled from previous schools. Self-concept and parental support were considered as the factors affecting learning motivation of the students who were expelled from previous schools. The aimed of this study was to reveal the contribution of self-concept and parental support towards the learning motivation of the students who were expelled from their previous schools. This study used a descriptive correlation-quantitative method. The population of the study were the 11th and 12th grade students in Sungai Penuh City, which numbered 2666 in total. The samples of the study were 62 students, taken by purposive sampling technique, namely students who were expelled from the previous schools. The instrument used was a Likert scale. The research findings showed that self-concept and parental support respectively and simultaneously had a significant contribution to the learning motivation of the students who were expelled from their previous school.

Abstract

The low student achievement motivation is something that must be considered. Parents attention became one of the factors that can influence student achievement motivation. The purpose of this study to describe the contribution of parent attention to student’s achievement motivation in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. This research uses regression analysis. In the research took the sample of 233 students by using purposive sampling technique. It was used instrument "Wira Solina Parents Attention Scale" with reliability value is 0.888, and "Achievement Motivation Scale" with reliability value is 0.885. The results of research showed that: (1) Parents attention (Mother) in the high category; (2) Parents attention (Father) in the medium category; (3) student achievement motivation in the medium category; (4) the contribution of parents attention (mother) to the achievement motivation is 14.4%; (5) the contribution of the parents attention (father) to the achievement motivation is 12.9%; and (6) the contribution of parents attention (Mother and Father) to the achievement motivation are 15.6%. The results of research showed that parents’ attention (mother and father) need to improved student achievement motivation, so it can be recommended by counselor teacher to give guidance and counseling services in the school and involved their parents to improve student achievement motivation.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to 1) find out and describe whether there is an influence of leadership style on teacher performance, 2) to find out and describe whether there is an influence of work discipline on teacher performance, and 3) to find out and describe whether there was an influence of leadership style and work discipline together on Performance of State Elementary School Teachers in Semendawai barat District. This study uses quantitative method. The researcher collects the data by using observation, interviews and questionnaires. The analysis that researcher do is the correlation analysis of the t test and the F test. The results of the data analysis from the questionnaire showed that there was an influence of leadership style on the performance of elementary school teachers in Semendawai barat subdistrict. Then, there is an influence of work discipline on the performance of State Elementary School Teachers in Semendawai barat District. And there is an influence of Leadership Style and Work Discipline together on the Performance of Elementary School Teachers in West Semendawai District. (significant level 5%).
