Abstract

The development of learning materials from handout by Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted comics to straight motion of creative thinking skills with valid, practical, and effective has been done. The research and development method is implemented in this work. The 4-D development model was used consist of define, design, development, and disseminate. In the define phase, it was done curriculum, student, and material analysis. In the design phase, it was done by designing learning materials the from handout assisted comics by PBL comprise  learning instructional such as lesson plan (RPP), handout, and assessment. In the development phase, test of validity, practicality, and the effectivity of handout were done. Then in the disseminate phase, test of practicalities and effectiveness were done. The result of the study in the define phase about students was obtained that level of creative thinking skills of students of class X IPA 2 are in the low category. The analysis of material was obtained straight motion. In the design phase, it was obtained initial draft of handout by PBL assisted comics that consist of RPP, handout, and assessment. In the development phase, it was obtained handout by PBL assisted comics which has valid criteria (0,86), practically criteria (94%), and effective for cognitive creative thinking skills aspect (76%), effective in improving creative thinking skills (79%) are in the category of very creative, the category character becomes a habit (86%), and skill was (87%). In the disseminate phase, it was obtained   effective for cognitive creative thinking skills aspect (76,9%), effective in improving creative thinking skills (78,4%) are in the category of very creative, the category character becomes a habit (84%), and skill was (81,9%).

Abstract

Setiap siswa memiliki keunikan masing-masing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of integrated thematic instructional, through contextual learning model, for improving performance of students with mild intellectual disability. This research uses classroom action research (Action Research), included collaboration with classroom teachers. The subjects of this research are four students with mild intellectual disability in grade VIII. This study uses a cycle, in each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collected through observation, and tests. Data analysis using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that, integrated thematic instructional, through contextual learning model, has changed performance of the students from cycle I to cycle II. The result of cycle I showed that the performance of the four students are R = 48%, T =54%, K =63% and S =59%. In cycle II, the performance of students increasing, R = 69%, T = 75%, K = 85%, and S = 81%. It could be concluded that integrated thematic instructional, through contextual learning model, effective for improving performance of students with mild intellectual disability.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of Human Factor Training, Engineer Competence, and Work Motivation on Aircraft Engineer Performance in the Line Maintenance Unit of Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia. A quantitative descriptive-correlational design was employed. The population consisted of 103 aircraft engineers across three maintenance stations (KNO, CGK, and SUB). Following instrument validation with 30 engineers, 73 engineers were selected as the main sample using cluster random sampling. Data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS 25. Human Factor Training significantly influenced engineer performance (t = 6.642; p < 0.001), as did Engineer Competence (t = 2.192; p = 0.032). In contrast, Work Motivation showed no significant effect (t = 1.763; p = 0.082). Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affected engineer performance (F = 288.248; p < 0.001). Human Factor Training emerged as the strongest predictor of engineer performance, followed by Engineer Competence. Although Work Motivation was positively related to performance, its contribution was not statistically significant, suggesting that performance in aircraft maintenance is more strongly influenced by technical competence, safety training, and compliance with aviation regulations and standard operating procedures.

Abstract

Academic stress is a major problem faced by students. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of information services using the problem based learning (PBL) method to reduce student academic stress. This study used a pre-experimental approach with the design of one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 20 students taken by purposive sampling technique. The instrument uses an academic stress scale developed from Aldwin's theory by measuring physical, emotional and behavioral symptoms. Analysis techniques using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed that information services with the PBL method were effective in reducing student academic stress. This can be seen from the decrease in posttest scores that occurred in all students who were given information services using the PBL method.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of financial compensation, work stress and job promotion on the performance of employees of the Sungai Penuh City Regional Finance Agency. This research is motivated by low performance, financial compensation that does not meet needs, regulations that do not support work, low employee motivation, employees feel dissatisfied with applicable regulations both related to work implementation and financial compensation, and low achievement results. performance of institutions and employees of the Regional Finance Agency of Sungai Penuh City. The research method with a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression method. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, observations and interviews. The respondents of this study were 40 employees of the Regional Finance Agency of Sungai Penuh City. The sampling method used the total sampling method where the entire population in this study was used as the research sample. Hypothesis testing was calculated using the IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 24.0 program. The results of this study found that financial compensation has a significant effect on employee performance, work stress has a significant effect on performance, promotion has a significant effect on employee performance, from the ANOVA test the value of Fcount > Ftable or 6.305 > 3.180 with a significance level of 0.001 or 0.05, then financial compensation, job stress, promotion together have a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Regional Finance Agency of Sungai Penuh City.

Abstract

The development of technology has presented several choices of unique, creative, and innovative learning media that can be used in the learning process. Besides being a challenge, involving innovative and creative learning media also provides opportunities for students to improve their mathematical problem-solving skills. This research will focus on research on the development of edutainment game media that can be used on smartphones (Android). Media development is carried out by adapting the ADDIE model which contains five (5) stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Furthermore, descriptive quantitative analysis was conducted to review the feasibility of the media. The results of the analysis show that edutainment games are feasible as learning media to improve mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
