Abstract

This research aims to design a crowdfunding information system to empower the community in Kota Pari Village in raising funds for various projects and initiatives. The system is built using the Laravel framework and is designed with a scalable and secure architecture, consisting of key components such as the user interface, project management system, donation management system, user management system, reporting system, database, and API. Key features implemented include user registration and profiles, project management, donations and payments, notifications, and analytics. The waterfall methodology is used in system development, including the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The results of this research are in the form of a web-based crowdfunding information system design which is expected to increase access to funding, transparency, and community participation in village development. Leveraging the Laravel framework provides advantages in terms of development speed, security, and system scalability. This research contributes to the development of technological solutions for economic and social empowerment in rural areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development model of sustainable shallot farming in Payung Village, Payung District, Karo Regency. The research method uses qualitative and quantitative approaches with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, field observations, and surveys. The research sample includes shallot farmers, agricultural extension workers, and related stakeholders. The results of the study show that the development of sustainable shallot farming requires a comprehensive strategy that pays attention to ecological, economic, and social aspects. The key factors identified include: Implementation of environmentally friendly cultivation practices, Efficient management of land resources, Use of superior seeds and appropriate agricultural technology, Access to adequate capital and markets, and Institutional empowerment of farmers. Internal factors that become strengths are natural resource parameters, farmer experience parameters, shallot production parameters and land area parameters. The dominant force influencing the development of shallot farming in the research area is natural resources. Internal factors that are weaknesses are farmer capital parameters, onion seed parameters, input use parameters and farmer partnership parameters. The most dominant weakness is farmer capital. External factors of opportunities are market demand parameters, farming profit parameters, agroindustry infrastructure and supporting facilities parameters and support parameters for groups and extension workers. The most dominant opportunity is market demand. Recommended development models include: ongoing technical assistance, farmer capacity building, product diversification, and strengthening partnerships between farmers, the government, and the private sector. This research is expected to contribute to increasing productivity, sustainability, and welfare of shallot farmers in the region

Abstract

Smart Village is a smart village concept that is innovative in using information technology so that it can improve the quality of the village economy. In the process of implementing smart villages, it is often used in the needs of Bumdes development so that it can be useful for village development. Bumdes is a village-owned business entity that is a legal entity and managed by the village government. Bumdes is created to manage the results of resources in the village for village development. In carrying out its management, a system is needed that can help the village so that the management of Bumdes is transparent. So a website system is needed that can help the village in managing the results of village resources to become a smart village.

Abstract

The suitability of spatial pattern plans between Provincial RTRWs and City/Regency RTRWs is very important to ensure coordinated, sustainable, and efficient spatial management. This alignment supports harmonious development policies, prevents land use conflicts, and optimizes the use of natural resources and infrastructure. In addition, this conformity helps control development to fit the long-term vision, improve disaster risk mitigation, and create certainty for investment, resulting in safer and more targeted spatial planning at various levels of government. Fundamental problems and conflicts in space utilization arise due to significant challenges caused by overlapping policies, regulations, and geospatial information. The location of the study is in Tanjungbalai City which analyzes the comparison of the City Spatial Pattern Plan with the Provincial Spatial Pattern Plan. The provincial spatial pattern plan used is the 2023 Revision of the North Sumatra Provincial RTRW, while the urban spatial pattern plan uses the 2023 Tanjungbalai City RTRW Revision. This study aims to provide an overview of the evaluation of the non-conformity of the Tanjungbalai City Revised spatial pattern plan to the Revision of the RTRW of North Sumatra Province and provide steps to resolve the non-conformities that occur that are useful as material for discussion and evaluation of the Revised RTRW of Tanjungbalai City at the Provincial level..

Abstract

Tourism is considered one of the fastest-growing industries in the world, as it is one of the most important sectors of the economy that contributes to providing currency and boosting local development by creating job opportunities through investors. Indonesia has become a popular tourist destination with a variety of beautiful natural tourism making Indonesia the largest archipelagic country and one of the most attractive tourist destinations. Strategic planning of tourist areas aims to develop tourist areas in a sustainable manner. One of them, the Teluk Gelam Lake area, Teluk Gelam Lake was designated by the South Sumatra Provincial Government as a provincial tourism object. The potential of the Teluk Gelam Lake Area refers to the concept of Ecotourism. Based on this potential, a special strategy is needed in planning Lake Teluk Gelam tourism, so that tourism potential can be developed optimally so that there are no losses to the development of the region itself. This study uses literature study and SWOT analysis. The results of Swot show that the Power of Agrotourism has the potential to increase public awareness of sustainable development Agrotourism activities can be a tool for the preservation of cultural identity, to further develop local communities and to offer a fair allocation of resources. Disadvantages Being in a watershed (watershed) has several problems that need to be taken seriously. First, the local community lacks knowledge about environmental conservation, the Teluk Gelam Lake Area Opportunity has very good tourism opportunities in planning the determination of the tourism sector. One form of tourism that can be developed in this area is ecotourism from the natural tourism of Lake Teluk Gelam. Threat The threat to the Lake Gelam Tourism area is ecological damage due to massive human activities. Watersheds (Watersheds) that are the scope are very vulnerable to environmental changes.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in disaster mitigation, especially in the city of Medan, Indonesia, which faces a high risk of flooding. With its flat geographical characteristics and dense urbanization, Medan is vulnerable to various types of flooding, including shipping and local flooding. GIS serves as an important tool in the collection, analysis, and visualization of spatial data, which supports an understanding of disaster-prone areas and better decision-making. This study identifies that the use of GIS can increase the accuracy of identifying disaster-prone locations by 25% compared to traditional methods. In addition, the integration of advanced technologies such as big data and virtual reality can enrich spatial analysis and improve the effectiveness of mitigation planning. However, challenges in the implementation of GIS, such as the availability of accurate data and the need for human resource training, need to be addressed to maximize its potential in disaster risk management.

Deli Port Passenger Terminal , Belawan Port is one of form infrastructure important which is located in Medan City which is in the form of terminal port . This terminal own role For accommodation passenger between island in Sumatra. The existence of the Bandar Deli Terminal is certainly give impact positive in aspect economy and social . A study conducted by Aprilia (2024); Fadillah & Sinaga ( 2020) revealed that the passenger terminal This own arrangement less than optimal space and rumored can trigger failure operational sustainable building . Conditions This naturally not enough in accordance with hope government related importance adoption principle building green building in Indonesia for achieve the development agenda sustainable development that was initiated in Regulation of the Minister of PUPR No. 21 of 2021 concerning the Assessment of Green Building Performance and with attachments PUPR Circular Letter No.01/SE/M/2022 . ). In addition, the implementation of green building standards in Indonesia is expected to reduce the carbon footprint and increase energy efficiency by up to 30% compared to conventional buildings in accordance with the Energy Efficiency Guidelines for Buildings (Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, 2020). This study aims For analyze the site management of the Bandar Deli Terminal Building, Belawan Port based on the Indonesian Green Building Performance Assessment Parameters (BGH) which is one of the main variables in the BGH parameters. The method used is descriptive-qualitative, to describe the results of observations related to site management based on PUPR Circular Letter No.01/SE/M/2022 concerning Technical Instructions for Green Building Performance Assessment (BGH). The results of the study show that the management of the Bandar Deli Passenger Terminal site still does not meet the parameters in the Site Management variable in accordance with the Green Building (BGH) standards, with a score of 14 points out of 38 points so that further evaluation is needed in research on other variables and also possible improvements to support the achievement of Green Building (BGH) standards in Indonesia.

Abstract

In today's digital era, data has become a valuable asset that supports effective decision-making in various fields, including education. In Indonesia, the education sector needs a technology-based strategy to utilize data optimally in improving the quality of education services. Data mining, as an information technology approach, plays an important role in extracting valuable information from big and complex data. Classification algorithms such as the Decision Tree, specifically the C4.5 algorithm, are widely used in data mining to build accurate decision models. This study aims to apply the C4.5 algorithm to student data to support evidence-based decision-making in education. Using RapidMiner software, this research focuses on classifying and analyzing student data to build a model that can simplify the decision-making process, making it easier to understand and implement. The results of this study show that there is a pattern of gender distribution in various classes, with some classes dominated by female students and others dominated by male students. The preprocessing stage successfully simplifies the data, so that relevant information can be analyzed more easily. These results underscore the importance of data mining technology in education data analysis for better decision-making, as well as provide new insights in designing data-driven education policies.

Abstract

Rapid technological developments have brought significant changes in various sectors, including education. In the context of education, data management and analysis are important elements in supporting data-driven decision-making. Data mining, specifically the Decision Tree method, provides valuable insights into analyzing patterns from large data sets. This study uses Decision Tree modeling and data visualization through RapidMiner to analyze the distribution of the number of students based on gender in various classes at SMK Negeri 1 Stabat in the 2023-2024 school year. This research includes data collection, preprocessing, and decision tree modeling to uncover gender-based trends in various skill programs. Visualization using Scatter Plot makes it easier to present data for clearer analysis. The results of the study show that administrative and fashion skills programs are dominated by women, while engineering skills programs, such as TKR and TITL, are dominated by men. Some classes showed a more balanced gender composition. This research provides useful insights for classroom management and decision-making in the educational environment, as well as provides a basis for designing more inclusive learning programs and addressing gender imbalances in certain areas.

Abstract

Incidents of theft and theft of motor vehicles have recently become more and more prevalent. This is suspected by the increase in the number of motorized vehicles every year. The most stolen or stolen types of motor vehicles are two-wheeled vehicles or motorcycles. So the researcher in this case conducted research in the form of designing motor vehicle safety using brittle sensors and GPS (Global Positioning System). The vibration sensor is functional to detect theft by forcibly moving the vehicle. Meanwhile, GPS functions to detect the location of the presence of the motor vehicle so that it can be monitored by the owner of the vehicle. This research focuses on measuring the accuracy and optimization of vibration sensors and GPS so that outputs in the form of simple patents and prototypes of motor vehicle safety devices can be obtained.
