Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in cognitive knowledge of students who are taught with a problem based learning aided by blended learning on the material of the uv-vis spectroscopy. This study uses a cognitive knowledge test instrument that has content validation of 87,92% with very good criteria and a Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.653 in the high category. The research was conducted at the Universitas Negeri Manado in two classes. The experimental class was taught by the problem based learning model assisted by blended learning and the control class that was taught with a problem based learning model. The results showed a statistically significant difference in students' cognitive knowledge in both study classes (α = 0.050).

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a critical review of the technology-based educational supervision model and its implications for improving the quality of learning in the digital era. This model integrates conventional supervision concepts with digital technologies to provide more effective support to educators in the development of their teaching practices. In this study, we conducted an examining pertinent literature to pinpoint the effectiveness, challenges, and potential of technology-based educational supervision models. Positive implications of this model include greater accessibility to supervision and guidance for educators, flexibility of time and place, and increased efficiency in providing feedback. However, challenges such as inadequate technology infrastructure, security and data privacy concerns, and the absence of instruction in utilizing technology may hinder successful implementation.

Abstract

Learning outcomes and critical thinking skills are main competencies that students must achieve in Digital Simulation subjects. This study aimed to describe the differences in learning outcomes and critical thinking skills together between students who learned by using project-based e-learning model and students who learned by using direct e-learning in Digital Simulation subjects. This research used quasi experiment method. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 4 classes or 133 students by using a simple random sampling technique. This study used two test instruments namely, the learning outcomes test in the form of objective tests and the critical thinking skills test in the form of essay test. Data were analyzed descriptively and Multivariate Analysis of Covariate (Mancova) with hypothesis testing using a significance level of 0.05. The findings showed that first, there were differences in learning outcomes and critical thinking skills simultaneously between students who learned by using a project-based e-learning model and students who learned by direct e-learning model. Second, there was no difference in learning outcomes between students who learned by using the project-based e-learning model and students who learn by direct e-learning model. Third, there were differences in critical thinking skills between students who learned by using the project-based e-learning model and students who learned by using direct e-learning model.
