Abstract

This study examines how Career Development, Work-Life Balance, Organizational Culture, and Job Security shape Employee Satisfaction, and how that satisfaction, in turn, influences Employee Loyalty among employees in conventional banks in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, the findings indicate that all four factors play an important role in enhancing employee satisfaction, with organizational culture emerging as the most influential aspect. The study also confirms that employees who feel satisfied with their work environment tend to show stronger loyalty and commitment to their organizations. These results underscore the need for banking institutions to foster supportive cultures, provide clear career pathways, and strengthen job stability to improve employee engagement and retention. The insights presented in this research offer valuable guidance for HR practitioners in designing effective strategies to build a committed and satisfied workforce.

Abstract

This study analyzes the leadership of the female traditional leader (Raja Ina), Janse Tresia Leimena, in promoting inclusive development in Negeri Ema, Ambon. Using a qualitative case study method involving interviews, observation, and document analysis, the research finds that her transformational-charismatic leadership style characterized by effective communication, empathy, and an inspiring vision successfully enhanced community participation in supporting vulnerable groups. The main constraints include patriarchal bias within the traditional structure, limited budget, and bureaucratic challenges. The study concludes that indigenous women's leadership has significant potential to act as a catalyst for inclusive development, provided it is supported by multi-stakeholder collaboration and context-responsive policies.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the causes and potential solutions to poverty traps experienced by coastal women. Utilizing a systematic literature review method, the research identifies and synthesizes relevant findings from existing studies. The results reveal that the primary drivers of poverty among coastal women include disparities in educational attainment and limited access to economic resources. These constraints, coupled with restricted employment opportunities, contribute to economic dependency on male family members. Such dependency heightens the risk of domestic violence and reinforces the intergenerational transmission of poverty. To address this issue, the study recommends promoting women’s economic empowerment through entrepreneurship training and improved access to financial capital, which may enhance income generation and reduce economic vulnerability.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of business success among retail traders in Kupang, focusing on entrepreneurial competence, capital aspects, and regional origin within the framework of social capital theory. Using a quantitative associative approach, data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that entrepreneurial competence has a positive and significant effect on business success, capital aspects have a positive but insignificant effect, and regional origin exerts a negative and significant effect. Contrary to social capital theory, the results suggest that the greater social capital possessed by non-migrant traders does not enhance, but instead hinders, their business success.

Abstract

This study examines the Zero Rupiah Passport Policy as a form of state intervention designed to support the protection and fulfillment of Indonesian migrant worker candidates’ administrative rights, especially in the passport issuance process. Employing a qualitative-descriptive method through literature review of policy documents, regulations, and prior studies, the research identifies how the policy reduces financial barriers while signaling the government’s commitment to strengthening migration governance. Nevertheless, challenges persist, including limited dissemination, unequal institutional readiness, and disparities in regional implementation. The study contributes theoretically by mapping the policy framework through its stages of formulation, implementation, and impact, while recommending further evaluative and field- based research. In doing so, it enriches academic discourse on inclusive and equitable public service and migration policies.

Abstract

This research examines the adoption of Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection (PDP) Bill using the Multiple Streams Framework (MSF), with particular attention to how the 2022 Bjorka data breach catalyzed the convergence of the problem, policy, and political streams. Although this incident created a policy window, the subsequent stream coupling was largely reactive and premature, shaped more by symbolic political urgency than by institutional or policy readiness. The analysis demonstrates that the bill’s enactment proceeded without adequate groundwork for implementation, as evidenced by delayed regulatory development and unresolved issues concerning the establishment of an independent data protection authority. The study contributes to understanding digital governance reform in transitional political contexts, highlighting the pitfalls of crisis- driven convergence and symbolic legislative adoption. It underscores the critical need for institutional coherence, context-sensitive policy adaptation, and forward-looking governance in achieving substantive and sustainable digital policy outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value, and habit on behavioral intention, and the subsequent impact of behavioral intention on actual usage of the DANA digital payment platform in Indonesia. A quantitative method was used, involving 130 respondents who completed a structured online questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that all four variables significantly affect behavioral intention, with habit as the strongest contributor, followed by hedonic motivation, facilitating conditions, and price value. Additionally, behavioral intention was found to have a significant influence on actual usage of DANA. These results highlight that users’ adoption and continued use of digital payment services are strongly shaped by habitual patterns, user enjoyment, and practical benefits such as ease of use and cost efficiency. This study offers valuable insights for service providers aiming to improve user engagement and platform usage.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application in improving Jakarta’s public service information system. Using a quantitative approach, data from 100 respondents were analyzed through validity, reliability, and regression tests in SPSS. Effectiveness was measured by five indicators from Campbell’s theory and four indicators from the public service information system framework. Results show that JAKI’s effectiveness significantly enhances public service information quality. The study highlights digital innovation’s role in improving service delivery, transparency, and user engagement, and offers practical recommendations for advancing JAKI and similar smart city applications.
