Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui latar belakang munculnya elit bangsawan dan kelompok terdidik, (2) Mengungkapkan Konflik antara elit bangsawan dengan kelompok terdidik yang berimplikasi pada peran keduanya di Masa Revolusi di Sulawesi Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah. Tahapan dalam penelitiannya yaitu pemilihan topik, mengumpulkan sumber, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Stratifikasi sosial masyarakat Bugis-Makassar telah memberikan posisi istimewa terhadap kaum bangsawan sebagai elit strategis dari kelompok masyarakat lainnya dalam struktur sosial, dan sebagai pemimpin puncak  dalam struktur politik atau struktur kekuasaan. Ketika elit terdidik tampil dalam Pergerakan Nasional di Sulawesi Selatan bersama elit bangsawan, politik kolonial Belanda berhasil mempolarisasi keduanya menjadi bagian yang terpisah menjadi konflik di awal kemerdekaan RI. Kata Kunci: Elit Bangsawan, Kelompok Terdidik, dan Revolusi di Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the history of the struggle for Panggadereng in United Local, South Sulawesi XV-XVII century. The method that the researchers used in the writing of this history is a research method according Kuntowijoyo. The stages of historical research by Kuntowijoyo has five stages, the selection of topics, heuristics, verification, interpretation, and writing.Gowa and Bone kingdom are two forces that are very influential in the political constellation in Jasirah South Sulawesi in the kingdom. The power struggle between the two kingdoms not only occur during the reign of Sultan Hasanuddin in Gowa and reign in the kingdom Palakka White Bone, but long before the two kingdoms have been involved in the struggle pangadereng in the region. This lasted until after the treaty of bongaja which has also been involved in a contradiction that VOCs. Keywords: Power struggle, Local Kingdom, South Sulawesi.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to (1) to know factors are causing Samin communities remain at the values and traditions, (2) to determine the values and traditions of what is local wisdom Tribe Samin, and (3) to know the values and traditions Samin communities in terms of character education. In this research, the research team used ethnographic research methods. The ethnographic method is a method used to describe things that are associated with Samin community in more depth. The results showed that the teachings of Samin Samin triggered by Surosentiko in 1890 and readily accepted by society Blora. This is because the state of Blora society in the 19th century is very alarming. Besides the natural conditions that are less potentially, also pressure from the colonial government that is characterized by the influx of money economic system, as well as the demands of high taxes. Expropriation of land owned by the people who made teak forests belonging to the state and the influx of Western culture makes Samin communities chose to alienate her from the pressures of life are different from them. Keywords: Historicity, normativity, Samin community, Character Education

Abstract

ABSTRAKThis research is expected to be able to foster and enhance the mutual cooperation attitude of students by imitating the values of mutual cooperation in the Singo Ulung tradition. The design development of the Singo Ulung tradition-based historical learning model is based on the ADDIE procedure Feasibility data analysis model using a Likert scale with a range of 1 to 5, while the model effectiveness test using the Independent Sample T Test T test on SPSS 19. In the T Test for achievement tests obtained a value of 2.637 with a significance level of 0.012 0.025, meaning that there is a significant to the model developed and shows that the mean of the experimental class is better than the control class. The T test for the assessment of mutual cooperation attained a value of 2.649 with a significance level of 0.011 0.025, so it can be concluded that the average of the experimental class is better than the control class. Thus, the historical learning model based on Singo Ulung traditional values is effective to improve student achievement and mutual cooperation.Keywords: value local traditions, model development, mutual cooperation

Abstract

AbstractAt the end of the 19th century there was a change in the system of government in the Dutch East Indies, before a central system was implemented in which all activities were regulated by the central government in Batavia. Then this becomes increasingly complex when various affairs in the region must become central business. The change in the system of government in the Indies was then noticed by various figures in the Dutch parliament and government officials in the Dutch East Indies. This change in the system of government was also an effort to improve the standard of living in the Indies which was considered no longer a wingewest area. then in 1901 through his speech Ratu Wilhelmina conveyed that there must be a change in the system of government in the Indies. Then in 1903 a decentralization law was issued as the basis for regional autonomy in the Dutch EastIndies.  Keywords: Decentralization, Dutch East Indies, City

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan faktor-faktor penyebab orang-orang Madura bermigrasi ke wilayah ujung timur Jawa Timur. Untuk membahas permasalahan tersebut, penulis menggunakan kerangka pikir push and pull dimana yang berusaha untuk mengungkap kondisi yang melatarbelakangi kehidupan para migran Madura, serta perkembangan ekonomi di daerah ujung timur Jawa Timur. Kajian awal penulis menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab orang-orang Madura bermigrasi ke daerah Jawa Timur bagian timur adalah kemiskinan di Madura. Sementara itu Jawa Timur dijadikan daerah tujuan migrasi karena di daerah tersebut sedang dibuka perkebunan -perkebunan baru yang menguntungkan rakyat setempat maupun para migran. Di Jawa Timur bagian timur para migran memperoleh beberapa fasilitas fasilitas antara lain: tanah, hewan ternak untuk mengerjakan tanah, dan pembebasan pajak selama beberapa tahun. Kata kunci: migrasi, Madura, ujung timur Jawa Timur.

Abstract

Abstrak NU tradisional dan Muhammadiyah modern adalah pandangan yang sudah umum dikemukakan. Tradisional karena dalam praktek keagamaan, kalangan NU hanya mengikuti pendapat dan menjalankan praktek keagamaan para ulama terdahulu, sehingga yang ada hanyalah taklid dan menolak ijtidah. Demikian pula, ketradisionalan NU biasanya dituduhkan karena banyak praktek ritual yang dicampuradukan oleh kalangan ini dengan budaya-budaya yang sudah ada. Sebaliknya, Muhammadiyah terkenal modern karena golongan ini mencoba membawa Islam agar sesuai dengan tuntutan dan keadaan zaman. Menurut kalangan Muhammadiyah, Islam juga berarti kemajuan sementara agama tidak akan menghambat siapapun yang berusaha untuk mencari ilmu pengetahuan. Namun, dalam perjalanan sejarah, tampaknya dikotomi semacam ini perlu dipertanyakan kembali. Kenyataan membuktikan bahwa untuk konteks sekarang ternyata sulit untuk mengatakan bahwa NU tradisional, terutama dalam hal pemikiran keagamaan. Dapat dilihat, konsep seperti inklusif, substansial, konvergen, manhaji, dan bahkan liberal, yang sekarang ini sering diusung dan disuarakan di kalangan NU adalah manifestasi dari pemikiran modern. Berpikir kritis sebagai salah satu ciri modern, tampaknya telah dikonsumsi, sehingga wajar apabila di kalangan NU sekarang ini muncul istilah ”pemaknaan ulang ahlus Sunnah Waljamaah” dan ”pemaknaan ulang konsep bermazdhab”. Yang nyata, dalam segala hal praktek keagamaan dan pemikiran keagamaan, menurut kalangan NU ini, boleh dipertanyakan kembali dan bahkan digugat. Kata Kunci: Berpikir kritis, dikotomi, modern, Muhammadiyah, NU, pemaknaan ulang, dan tradisional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menerangkan perubahan status kepemilikan lahan milik Pakualaman di pesisir pantai Desa Glagah, Kecamatan Temon, Kabupaten Kulon Progo, (2) Menerangkan alasan mengapa lahan milik Pakualaman dijadikan sebagai lahan pertanian dan perumahan, dan (3) Menjelaskan mengenai faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan status kepemilikan tanah Pakualaman di pesisir pantai Desa Glagah, Kecamatan Temon, Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kulatitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditinjau dari status kepemilikan tanah, tanah tersebut merupakan hak milik Kraton maupun tanah Pakualaman. Namun, tanah tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh rakyat sebagai tempat mata pencaharian bahkan tempat tinggal mereka. Di antara beberapa tanah milik pakualaman, ada juga yang digunakan sebagai tempat tinggal permanen masyarakat. Tanah yang digunakan masyarakat tersebut berstatus magersari, artinya masyarakat boleh menempati tetapi tetap mengakui bahwa tanah tersebut adalah tanah milik Keraton ataupun Pakualaman. Kata Kunci: lahan, Pakualaman, Perubahan status

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of quality learning process and learning outcomes of Social Sciences in class 7.6 through media Power Ponit. The population of this research is the grade seventh of  Yunior High School are consisted 36 students, there are 17 female and 19 male students. The implementation of this research at mid semester in 2010/2011. The result of this research showed in the first cycle get the value 73,89 or completeness study of 97,22% while in the second cycle get the value 80,83 or completeness study of 100%, it means that the research is successfully. Meanwhile, the assessment of quality in learning on the first cycle is 77,50% and the second cycle is 99,17%. In the other hand, the observation result of students behavior are showed an increasing with the value of the first cycle  is 69,44% and in the second cycle is get the value 100%. Based on the result of this research above, it can be conclude that the implementation of Media Power Point can improve the result in cognitive learning of Social Sciences. In addition it can improve the quality of learning and participation with students’ behavior. Keywords: Results of learning, Media Power Point

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to investigate: the implementation of multiculturalism-based character education, and the facilitating and inhibiting factors in the implementation of multiculturalism-based character education at SMK Negeri 2 Mataram. The study used the qualitative method with the naturalistic approach. They were selected by means of the purposive and snowball sampling techniques. The data were collected by, namely interviews, observations, and documentation. The data trustworthiness was enhanced by the triangulation technique. The data were analyzed by of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study are as follows. 1) The multiculturalism-based character education was implemented through the following programs: a) the school management commitment; b) the disciplined attitude building through regulations; c) the integration of intra-curricular programs; d) the integration of extracurricular programs; e) the school culture and f) network programs. School developed values such as religiosity, autonomy, care of the environment, achievement, tolerance, democracy, nationalism, competitiveness, and love of peace. 2) The facilitating factors included among others: a) good commitment and cooperation among the school principal, teachers, students, and parents’ involvement in various aspects of school activities; and b) the government and private support within the network. The inhibiting factors included among others: a) the habits and cultural environments of students’ origins which were varied; b) the social environment; c) the peer environment and electronic media; e) incomplete infrastructure facilities; and f) evaluation of program character education that had not been optimal, so that it affected the process of character inculcation.Keywords: character education, multiculturalism, multiculturalism in SMK
