Abstract

In an era where devices speak louder than words, the question is no longer "How do we reach people?" But rather: How do we listen to them amidst the digital cacophony? This statement encapsulates one of the most significant challenges facing contemporary religious discourse. In a world flooded with messages flowing from all directions, the task is no longer to convey a message, but to listen deeply to what people are saying—or not saying—among their posts, comments, and digital silences. The issue is no longer reaching audiences, but understanding them amidst this flood of information, where issues overlap, references intersect, and beliefs are formed in spaces no longer governed by the logic of sermons or traditional pulpits. We wrote this article by conducting a qualitative literature study of the phenomenon of da'wah in society, based on existing references and personal experiences in conducting digital da'wah. The digital preacher is no longer simply a text transmitter or a proverbial narrator; instead, he has become the living embodiment of a timeless message that adapts without compromise and renews itself without fading. In an era dominated by merciless intelligent systems, where speed devours all that is beautiful and profound, the call of faith remains in dire need of those who can restore its human warmth and awaken its meaning amidst the dominance of technology and the fading pulse of the heart.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution and society 5.0 has brought about major transformations in the field of education, including Islamic education. One of the main challenges is how to provide learning methods that are relevant to the characteristics of Generation Z, a generation that has grown up with digital devices, has a visual tendency, multitasks, and prefers interactive and fast learning models. On the other hand, Qur'anic stories are an important part of the Qur'an, rich in moral, spiritual, and educational values, but the methods of delivery still largely use conventional methods such as lectures, texts, and memorization, which are less appealing to digital generation students. Therefore, pedagogical innovation is needed to bridge this gap, one of which is through the use of Augmented Reality (AR) as a medium for Qur'anic learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a library research and thematic interpretation (maudhu'i) approach to examine the values of Qur'anic stories and their potential integration with AR technology. Research data was obtained from classical and contemporary tafsir literature, educational journal articles, and the latest research results related to the application of AR. The results of the study indicate that AR can provide a more immersive, interactive, and contextual learning experience by visualizing Qur'anic stories in the form of three-dimensional objects, animations, and interactive scenarios. This has implications for increasing students' interest in learning, understanding of meaning, and memory of the moral messages contained in Qur'anic stories, such as the steadfastness of Prophet Noah, the patience of Prophet Joseph, and the courage of the Companions of the Cave. However, there are significant challenges in implementing AR, including the risk of reducing meaning due to the dominance of visual aspects over substance, ethical issues regarding the representation of Qur'anic figures, limitations in technological facilities in Islamic educational institutions, and the readiness of teachers in mastering digital devices. Thus, AR has great potential to become a strategic innovation in Islamic education that is relevant to the learning style of Generation Z while maintaining the sanctity of the values of the Qur'an. This study is expected to open a new discourse for the development of technology-based Qur'an learning methods and enrich da'wah strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of gender role ideology on marital stability through two lenses: first, the acceptance of Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (GEWE); and second, the structure of Conjugal Moral Judgment (CMJ) and Conjugal Moral Resiliency (CMR). The study involved three ideological groups: Egalitarian (N=84), Patriarchal (N=13), and Matriarchal (N=16). In terms of GEWE acceptance, all groups showed generally positive acceptance, with the Egalitarian group having the highest average acceptance, but all groups exhibited uniform rejection toward the Reproductive Health (RH) agenda (M=2.48), indicating a pervasive moral boundary related to the Sanctity foundation. The primary finding is the discovery of a plurality of moral strategies in maintaining marital integrity. Structurally, the Egalitarian group demonstrates a significant Institutional Gap in CMJ, prioritizing individualizing foundations (Care and Fairness) far above binding foundations (Loyalty and Authority). Crucially, this study introduces the concept of CMR and measures it using Standard Deviation (SD) as an indicator of internal moral consensus. The results show that the Patriarchal group employs a Uniform Institutional Strategy with the lowest CMR SD (SD=0.13), signifying the highest moral consensus and predictability. In contrast, the Egalitarian group utilizes a Flexible Individual Strategy with a relatively higher CMR SD (SD=0.16), indicating greater moral negotiation and adaptation. This research contributes substantively by shifting the focus from "what is believed" to "how uniform is that belief" (measured by SD), proving that gender ideology dictates not only moral configuration but also the consistency of marital resilience mechanisms. The findings recommend that family strengthening policies must accommodate the plurality of strategies—whether institution-based (Patriarchal/Matriarchal) or individual-based (Egalitarian)—rather than imposing uniformity.

Abstract

This research is driven by the polemics over the interpretation of the Qur`anic verses on male leadership that are often used as a basis for legitimizing patriarchy, especially QS. al-Baqarah [2]:228 and QS. an-Nisa [4]:34. The focus of this research is to analyze the two verses through Farid Esack’s liberation hermeneutics approach to see their relevance to the issue of gender justice In the digital age, patriarchal narratives are increasingly easy and quick to spread in the digital space, thus requiring the presence of strong and transformative theological counter narratives. The method used is a qualitative approach based on literature study with tafsir maudhu’i, which collects relevant verses, traces the historical context, and interprets their meaning based on Farid Esack’s hermeneutical principles, which he calls the six keys to hermeneutics: taqwa, tawhid , al-nās, al-mustad’afīn, qist wa ‘adl, and jihad. Finding indicate that darajah is more accurately understood as a legal and social burden rather than an ontological superiority, while qawwām refers to the mandate of financial and ethical responsibility in the domestic sphere, rather than inherent male authority in the public domain. This finding rejects patriarchal interpretations that perpetuate toxic masculinity and opens space for women’s leadership in the social sphere. Thus, the application of liberation hermeneutics within the framework of maudhu’i tafsir results in an egalitarian reinterpretation of the text, which has implications for strengthening gender justice, equality, and the protection of vulnerable groups in Muslim society

Abstract

This study confirms that the Baduy community's monogamous marriage system is an expression of profound local wisdom, where traditional values, spirituality, and morality are integrated into a harmonious social order. Monogamy in the Baduy context is not merely a form of marriage institution, but a manifestation of a way of life (cara hirup) that places loyalty, simplicity, and balance as the foundation of human relations. The prohibition of divorce and polygamy is not a form of restriction on individual freedom, but rather a symbol of social and spiritual stability that maintains the integrity of the community. Thus, gender relations within the Baduy monogamous system are complementary—not competitive—where women and men have moral authority and social responsibility in different spaces, but support each other ethically and spiritually.

Abstract

Bipolar disorder is a complex mental health condition that can affect brain structure and function. Bullying can be a significant stressor that can exacerbate bipolar symptoms and affect mental health. This paper aims to explore the impact of bullying on brain structure and function in individuals with bipolar disorder. This is a narrative literature review. Articles were retrieved from PubMed, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect. The publication date is within 5 years (2020-2025). It is shown that the volume of the hippocampus may be reduced due to bullying. This condition affects learning, memory, and mental regulation. Hyperactivation of the amygdala might be found after bullying, resulting in stress and anxiety. The altered function of the anterior cingulate cortex and the prefrontal cortex may be involved after bullying. Emotional processing and behaviour could occur. Therefore, patients with bipolar disorder are prone to deterioration of mental health after bullying due to changes in some brain structures and functions. It is essential to implement early and effective interventions to prevent bullying and reduce its negative impact on mental health. In conclusion, bullying might affect mental health in bipolar patients by hyperactivation of the amygdala, the altered function of the cingulate cortex and the prefrontal cortex, also reduce the volume of the hippocampus. Abstract

This article discusses the development of language, morality, and psychosocial aspects during adolescence, a critical phase in the formation of character and identity. The background of this study emphasizes the importance of integrating language, moral, and psychosocial dimensions to help adolescents cope with the challenges of physical, cognitive, and social development. The method employed is a literature review or theoretical study, conducted through the collection, identification, classification, and analysis of relevant scholarly sources. The research stages include reviewing the basic concepts of language, morality, and psychosocial development, as well as exploring the interrelationships among these aspects in the context of adolescence. The findings indicate that language plays a crucial role as both a medium of communication and a tool for moral reasoning, while psychosocial development is strongly influenced by social interactions and the surrounding environment. The discussion highlights the need for an integrative educational approach to enable adolescents to grow into intelligent individuals with strong character, psychosocial well-being, and the ability to navigate social dynamics in the era of globalization. The paper concludes that the teaching of language, morality, and psychosocial aspects must be developed synergistically to support the holistic development of adolescents. Abstract

The accelerating digitalization of Islamic discourse in Indonesia has profoundly transformed the ways in which authority, pedagogy, and ethical reasoning are articulated and negotiated within Qur’anic interpretation. This study explores how online Muslim communities reinterpret tafsir tarbawi (educational exegesis) and reassess the moral foundations of fiqh-based authority within the dynamics of digital modernity. Focusing on the #BoikotTrans7 controversy, the research employs a qualitative digital ethnographic approach that analyzes approximately 1,078 YouTube comments and discussions collected from five major channels associated with the event. The data were examined using Creswell’s model of thematic analysis to identify recurring moral narratives and patterns of ethical engagement. The findings reveal that initial expressions of moral outrage gradually evolved into participatory acts of ethical reflection, transforming digital platforms into spaces for collective pedagogy and communal moral reasoning. Participants frequently referred to central Islamic virtues such as humility (tawāḍu‘), justice (‘adl), and forgiveness (maghfirah), forming what this study conceptualizes as a “digital fiqh of pedagogy.” Although traditional kyai–santri hierarchies remain symbolically influential, moral legitimacy now circulates through affective, dialogical, and network-based interactions. The study concludes that Indonesia’s digital Islamic public sphere functions as a contemporary majlis al-fiqh, serving as a participatory environment where education, law, and ethics converge. By integrating tafsir tarbawi with Islamic legal ethics, this research offers fresh insight into the evolving relationship between faith, justice, and moral education in the age of digital mediation. Abstract

Psychological istitho'ah is essential to support the mental health of pilgrims in digital era. Psychological istitho'ah is the ability of good mental function (including cognitive, affective and psychomotor) and avoid psychological problems owned by someone in performing the procession of Hajj. This is important for pilgrims because, in addition to material istitho'ah and physical istitho'ah, psychological istitho'ah also determines the quality of Hajj and is closely related to the immunity of pilgrims' faith. Based on existing data, many mild psychological problems (neurosis) faced by pilgrims, such as stress, anxiety, and depression. The author focuses on one psychological problem, namely the dynamics of anxiety (excessive fear) in the procession of Hajj. That makes the author interested in making an independent psychotherapy model for Indonesian pilgrims based on the interpretation of the Qur'an Surah Ali-Imran: 169. This study uses a survey approach involving 79 Hajj pilgrims at the subdistrict in Makassar and a literature review using the maudhu`i interpretation method. The result of the research was a psychotherapy model. The essence of the self-psychotherapy model lies in the lafalz: حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ . The self-directed psychotherapy model can be preventive and rehabilitative which strongly supports psychological istitho'ah. This concept can be practised to become a religious coping. Pilgrims can apply it autonomously at any time (both in normal situations and emergencies/extreme situations) to deal with the psychological problems they face. This endeavour supports the mental health of pilgrims, achieving quality services and a mabrur Hajj. Keywords: Psychological Istitho`ah of Hajj, Self-Psychotherapy, Anxiety
