Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to compare senior high school problem-solving abilities with different class classifications on light waves. The study used a survey method with subjects of class XI as many as 123 high school students in Mojokerto. The instrument used is in the form of problem-solving abilities items as many as six questions. Student approaches to items are categorized into five: scientific approach, plug & chug (structured and unstructured), memory-based approach, and no clear approach. The results of the study showed that students' problem-solving abilities were in the plug & chug (structured and unstructured), and memory-based approach. This shows if students are still in the novice group. The highest percentage of problem-solving abilities is students of class XI and the lowest is students of class XI. This research needs to be followed up with various efforts to overcome the low problems solving abilities of students in physics learning.Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan mengkomparasikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah sswa SMA dengan klasifikasi kelas berbeda pada gelombang cahaya. Peneltian mengunakan metode survey degan subjek siswa kelas XI sebanyak 123 siswa SMA di wlayah Mojokerto. Instrument yang dgunakan berupa butir soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah gelombang cahaya sebanyak 6 soal. Pendekatan siswa tehadap butir soal dkategorikan menjadi lima, yaitu: scientific approach, plug & chug terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur, memory based approach serta no clear approach. Hasil peneltian menujukkan bahwa kemapuan pemecahan masallah siswa berada pada pendkatan Plug & Clug terstruktur, tidak terstruktur dan pendekatan memory based approach. Hal tersebut menunjukkan jika siswa masih berada pada kelompok novice. Persentase kemampuan pemecahan masalah paling tinggi adalah siswa kelas XI dan terendah adalah siswa kelas XI. Penelitian ini perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan berbagai upaya untuk mengatasi redahnya kmampuan pmecahan masalah siswa dalam pebelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study, is to analyze students' commognitive activities during discussion activities in solving skewness and kurtosis questions. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative for semester 3 students of State University of Malang in the 2020-2021 academic year. Based on the results of the analysis of the completion of LKM 1 and LKM 2, all groups consisting of 17 groups have not met the commognitive component. So that KPL students randomly took several groups, namely group 1 and group 15 as research subjects. Their SK1 does not interpret the final result and then SK1 also does not reflect its skewness and kurtosis curves. Whereas for SK15 they also had errors in writing the symbols from the range, then their SK15 also did not describe the skewness and kurtosis curves, and SK15 also had errors in writing the formulas for the size of the location and errors in using the formula to find the value of the kurtosis. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk menganalisis commognitive mahasiswa pada saat aktivitas diskusi dalam menyelesaikan soal skewness dan kurtosis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif untuk mahasiswa semester 3 Universitas Negeri Malang tahun ajaran 2020-2021. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penyelesaian LKM 1 dan LKM 2 semua kelompok yang terdiri dari 17 kelompok ternyata masih belum memenuhi komponen commognitive. Sehingga mahawiswa KPL mengambil secara acak beberapa kelompok yaitu kelompok 1 dan kelompok 15 sebagai subjek penelitian. Kesimpulan hasil analisisnya SK1 mereka tidak menginterpretasikan hasil akhir dari perhitungannya dan kemudian SK1 juga tidak menggambarkan kurva skewness dan kurtosis. Sedangkan untuk SK15 mereka ada kesalahan dalam menuliskan simbol dari range, banyak kelas dan panjang kelas, kemudian SK15 mereka juga tidak menggambarkan kurva skewness dan kurtosis, dan SK15 juga ada kesalahan dalam menuliskan rumus ukuran letak dan  dan kesalahan dalam menggunkan rumus mencari nilai kurtosisnya.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of virtual laboratories on static fluid material to improve the understanding of students of class XI during the Covid 19 pandemic. The research design used is a mixed-method with embedded experimental design and samples used in the study of 29 learners. Based on the acquisition of this study, it can be concluded that the use of virtual laboratories equipped with LKS in the field for learning proved to be quite effective because from the acquisition of analytical results explained there is a positive influence on the use of virtual laboratory learning media with a scientific approach to static fluid material to learning outcomes. With this research, it is expected that the use of virtual laboratory learning media can be applied by teachers to physical learning so that learners can easily understand concepts and there are no misconceptions about concepts that exist in physical learning. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bermaksud dapat mengetahui pengaruh virtual laboratory terhadap materi fluida statis dalam meluaskan pemahaman siswa kelas XI di masa pandemi Covid 19. Desain penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode campuran dengan desain embedded experimental dan 29 peserta didik dipergunakan sebagai sampel pada penelitian ini. Berdasarkan perolehan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan penggunaan virual laboratory yang dilegkapi dengan LKS didalmnya untuk pembelajaran terbukti cukup efektif karena dari perolehan hasil analisis menjelaskan terdapat pengaruh yang positif penggunaan media pembelajaran virtual laboratory dengan pendekatan saintifik materi fluida statis terhadap hasil belajar. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, diharapkan penggunaan media pembelajaran virtual laboratory dapat diterapkan oleh guru pada pembelajaran fisika sehingga peserta didik bisa lebih mudah mencerna konsep dan tidak mengakibatkan miskonsepsi mengenai konsep-konsep yang ada pada fisika terutama yang berkaitan dengan penerapan fisis pada kehidupan sehari-hari

Abstract

Abstract: The counting activity carried out by the Takpala Indigenous Village community is their way of representing the quantity of a set of goods, counting days, and other activities related to counting in daily activities. Activities are carried out through the use of the Abui language and sticks. The purpose of this study was to describe the mathematical knowledge contained in counting activities by the Takpala Indigenous Village community. This research is ethnographic research with the idea that in each region there is different knowledge based on the needs of the community. Based on the result of the study, it was found that in the use of Abui language there was mathematical knowledge in the form of base 5 and base 10 sub base 5; and in the use of sticks, there are base 10, multiplication 10, and number operation with the concept of place values.Abstrak: Kegiatan membilang yang dilakukan masyarakat Kampung Adat Takpala merupakan cara mereka merepresentasikan jumlah kuantitas sekumpulan barang, menghitung hari dan kegiatan lainnya yang berhubungan dengan menghitung pada aktivitas keseharian. Kegiatan dilakukan lewat penggunaan bahasa Abui dan lidi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengetahuan matematika yang terdapat dalam kegiatan membilang oleh masyarakat Kampung Adat Takpala. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian etnografi dengan pemikiran bahwa disetiap daerah terdapat pengetahuan yang berbeda berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pada penggunaan bahasa Abui terdapat pengetahuan matematika berupa bilangan basis 5 dan basis 10 sub basis 5; dan pada penggunaan lidi terdapat bilangan basis 10, perkalian 10 dan operasi bilangan dengan memperhatikan nilai tempat.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to analyze the social attitudes, communication skills, and environmental literacy of class XI students at SMAN 2 Malang. The type of research is mixed, through a quantitative approach to describe environmental literacy, and qualitative, to describe social attitudes. The research population is all students of class XI. The samples in this study were students of class XI science, the independent variables were students of class XI, the dependent variable was social attitudes, communication skills, and environmental literacy. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The analysis technique is that the research data is reduced, verified, and presented. The results showed that the scores were not balanced, the values of social attitudes, communication skills, and environmental literacy were scored 77.25, 75.75, and 75.67.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian menganalisis sikap sosial, keterampilan komunikasi, dan literasi lingkungan siswa kelas XI di SMAN 2 Malang. Jenis penelitian yakni campuran, melalui pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menjabarkan literasi lingkungan, dan kualitatif, untuk menjabarkan sikap sosial. Populasi penelitian yakni seluruh siswa kelas XI. Sampel pada penelitian yakni siswa kelas XI IPA, variabel bebas siswa kelas XI, variabel terikat yakni sikap sosial, keterampilan komunikasi, dan literasi lingkungan. Instrumen penelitian yakni kuisioner. Teknik analisis yakni data hasil penelitian direduksi, diverifikasi, dan disajikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai belum seimbang, nilai sikap sosial, keterampilan komunikasi, dan literasi lingkungan mendapat nilai yakni 77,25, 75,75, dan 75,67.

Abstract

Abstract: Scientific reasoning ability is the ability to complete the results of an investigation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the ability of scientific reasoning in problem-based distance learning assisted by Edmodo. The design of this research is implanted experimental. Subjects of this research were 70 students of class XI MIPA SMAN 2 Jember. The instrument was used in the form of 4 essay questions. The n-gain value of the experimental class was 0.795 (high), the control class was 0.313 (medium). While the effect size of the experimental class is 3.28 (strong) and the control is 1 (enough). This shows that problem-based distance learning assisted by Edmodo has a strong effect on students' reasoning abilities on wave material.Abstrak: Kemampuan penalaran ilmiah merupakan kemampuan untuk menafsirkan hasil dari sebuah penyelidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran ilmiah dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis masalah berbantuan edmodo. Desain penelitian ini yakni embended experimental. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 70 siswa kelas XI MIPA SMAN 2 Jember. Instrumen soal yang digunakan berupa 4 soal essay. Didapatkan nilai n-gain kelas eksperimen 0,795 (tinggi), kelas kontrol 0,313 (sedang). Sedangkan effect size kelas eksperimen 3,28 (kuat) dan kontrol  1 (cukup). Hal ini menunjukkan pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis masalah berbantuan edmodo berpengaruh kuat terhadap kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa pada materi gelombang.

Abstract

Abstract: Critical thinking enables students to process information logically, creative thinking brings out imaginative ideas. Both can be empowered by applying the Think Pair Share (TPS). This research is a quasi-experimental design involving students of grade 10 and 11 SMAN 9 Malang. Aspects of critical and creative thinking skills are measured using essay tests. To show the relationship between critical and creative thinking skills and the contribution, regression analysis was carried out. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between critical and creative thinking.Abstrak: Berpikir kritis memungkinkan siswa untuk memproses informasi secara logis, sedangkan berpikir kreatif memunculkan ide yang imajinatif. Kedua berpikir kritis dan kreatif dapat diberdayakan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share(TPS). Penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimen pada siswa kelas 10 dan 11 SMAN 9 Malang. Aspek berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif diukur menggunakan soal tes essay. Untuk mengungkap hubungan berpikir kritis dan kreatif dan besar sumbangan, dilakukan analisis regresi. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

Abstract: Problem-solving skills in the field of Biology have an important role in representing problems, finding relationships, making predictions, and verifying or checking solutions. This study aims to implement an augmented reality-assisted problem-based learning e-module on bioindicator materials to improve problem-solving skills. The research method used is a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving 29 biology students at the State University of Malang for the 2020/2021 academic year. Paired T-Test results show that the e-module has a significant effect on improving students' problem-solving skills.Abstrak: Keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada bidang Biologi memiliki peran penting dalam merepresentasikan masalah, mencari hubungan, membuat prediksi, dan memverifikasi atau memeriksa solusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas e-module pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan augmented reality melalui implementasi dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design dengan melibatkan 29 mahasiswa biologi Universitas Negeri Malang tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil uji T berpasangan menunjukkan implementasi e-module berpengaruh secara signifikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa.

Abstract

Abstract: The ability to master concepts can be developed with the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Thinking Map. The purpose of this study is to find out how the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Thinking Map influences the mastery of the concept of high school students on momentum and impulse. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Bombana class X, the subject of this study was 30 students. This research is a mixed-method embedded experimental model. The test of mastery of concepts in the form of multiple-choice as many as 25 items with the Cronbach's alpha value was 0.715. Data analysis using t-test and obtained a value of 0,000 which shows that there is an influence between mastery of the concept and problem-based learning assisted by thinking map. Abstrak: Kemampuan penguasaan konsep dapat dikembangkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan Thinking map. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui perkembangan penguasaan konsep siswa setelah dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan Thinking map pada materi momentum dan impuls. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Bombana kelas X, dan subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian ini berjenis mixed method embedded experimental model. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes penguasaan konsep yang berupa soal jenis pilihan ganda sebanyak 25 butir soal dengan reliabilitas  alpha Cronbach’s sebesar 0,715. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t dan menghasilkan Sig. 0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara penguasaan konsep siswa sebelum dan sesudah mendapatkan  pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan thinking pada materi momentum dan impuls

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this study were to identify the types of misconceptions; test the effectiveness of cognitive conflict strategies based on problem-solving in reducing misconceptions; measuring the retention of students' conceptual understanding.  Misconceptions were identified using tests with modified Certainty of Response Index techniques and interviews. The effectiveness of cognitive conflict strategy based on problem-solving was determined based on the reduction of misconceptions and paired sample t-test, while the retention of students' understanding was determined three weeks after treatment by comparing the results of the posttest and postponement test.  The results showed that there were 38 types of misconceptions; cognitive conflict strategies based on problem-solving proved to be effective in reducing misconceptions; three weeks after treatment, retention of students' concept understanding was very good.Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis miskonsepsi; menguji efektivitas startegi konflik kognitif berbasis pemecahan masalah dalam mengurangi miskonsepsi; mengukur retensi pemahaman konsep siswa. Miskonsepsi diidentifikasi menggunakan tes dengan teknik Certainty of Response Index termodifikasi dan wawancara. Efektifitas strategi konflik kognitif berbasis pemecahan masalah ditentukan berdasarkan pengurangan miskonsepsi dan uji-t sampel berpasangan, sedangkan retensi pemahaman siswa ditentukan dengan membandingkan hasil postes dan tes tunda, tiga minggu setelah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 38 jenis miskonsepsi; strategi konflik kognitif berbasis pemecahan masalah efektif dalam mengurangi miskonsepsi; tiga minggu setelah perlakuan retensi pemahaman konsep siswa termasuk kriteria sangat baik.
