Abstract

Students' understanding on the concept of a circle especially the relationship between central angle, arc length, and sector area of the circle based on learning obstacle and learning trajectory need to be developed well by creating a good didactic design. Therefore, it is necessary to design hypothetical learning trajectories (HLT) for students in learning sector area and arc length using the clockwork context. The didactical design was developed through three stages, namely: (1) the preliminary design; (2) teaching experiment; and (3) retrospective analysis. This study focused on the first stage, since the main purpose of this research was to develop a series of learning activities to delve into the concept of sector area and arc length as proportional problem in the form of HLT. The HLT was designed using a realistic mathematics education (RME) approach. There are three anticipated learning obstacles in the design of the activities, including errors related to the concept of the relationship between arc length, circle circumference, sector area, and circle area; errors related to the concept of the relationship between the central angle, arc length, and sector area of a circle; as well as errors related to the connection of concepts in circle material with other mathematical material; and students' difficulties in problem solving questions.

Abstract

Analisis sentimen atau bisa disebut juga opinion mining merupakan salah satu tugas utama dari Natural Language Processing (NLP) yang merupakan studi komputasi yang mempelajari tentang pendapat seseorang terhadap suatu topik bahasan atau entitas. Analisis dilakukan dengan algoritma machine learning (pembelajaran mesin) Naí¯ve Bayes, Decision Tree, dan K-Nearest Neighbor dengan membagi sentimen ke dalam dua kategori sentimen yaitu sentimen positif dan sentimen negatif. Data analisis diambil dari Financial Opinion Mining and Question Answering (FiQA) dan The Financial PhraseBank yang terdiri dari 4.840 kalimat yang dipilih dari berbagai berita keuangan dan dianotasi oleh 16 annotator berbeda yang berpengalaman dalam domain finansial. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mendapatkan hasil analisis sentimen dengan algoritma terbaik melalui perbandingan performa algoritma machine learning Naí¯ve Bayes, Decision Tree, dan K-Nearest Neighbor terhadap kalimat finansial yang disajikan oleh FiQA dan The Financial PhraseBank. Berdasarkan analisis, didapatkan hasil performa dari masing-masing algoritma dengan nilai akurasi algoritma Naí¯ve Bayes sebesar 78,45%; algoritma Decision Tree dengan nilai akurasi sebesar 77,72%; algoritma K-Nearest Neighbor (k=3) dengan nilai akurasi sebesar 41,25%; dan K-Nearest Neighbor (k=5) dengan nilai akurasi sebesar 37,38%. Analisis sentimen dengan algoritma Naive Bayes memiliki performa paling baik dengan nilai akurasi paling tinggi. Sentiment analysis or can also be called opinion mining is one of the main tasks of Natural Language Processing (NLP) which is a computational study that studies a person's opinion on a topic or entity. The analysis was performed with machine learning algorithms Naí¯ve Bayes, Decision Tree, and K-Nearest Neighbor by dividing sentiment into two categories of sentiment namely positive sentiment and negative sentiment. The analysis data was taken from Financial Opinion Mining and Question Answering (FiQA) and The Financial PhraseBank which consisted of 4,840 sentences selected from various financial news and annotated by 16 different annotators experienced in the financial domain. This research is aimed at obtaining sentiment analysis results with the best algorithms through comparison of the performance of Naí¯ve Bayes, Decision Tree, and K-Nearest Neighbor machine learning algorithms against financial sentences presented by FiQA and The Financial PhraseBank. Based on the analysis, the performance results of each algorithm were obtained with the accuracy value of the Naí¯ve Bayes algorithm of 78,45%; Decision Tree algorithm with an accuracy value of 77,72%; K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm (k=3) with an accuracy value of 41,25%; and K-Nearest Neighbor (k=5) with an accuracy value of 37,38%. Sentiment analysis with the Naive Bayes algorithm (K=5) performs best with the highest accuracy values.

Abstract

Given a graph G=(V(G),E(G)). Let S={s1,...,sk} be an ordered subset of V(G). Consider a vertex x, a coordinate of x with respect to S is represented as r(x|S)=(d(x,s1),...,d(x,sk)) where d(x,si) equals the number of edges in the shortest path between x and si for i=1,...,k. The minimum value of k such that for every x has distinct coordinate is called metric dimension of G. Turán graph T(n,r), n>=r>=2  is a subgraph of complete r-partite graph on n vertices having property that the difference of cardinality of any two distinct classes is at most one. In this paper, we build a new graph namely a banded-Turán graph, BT(n,r,m), as a graph built by a Turán graph T(n,r) and r uniform path graphs Pm in which every vertex of each class of T(n,r) connected to an initial vertex of corresponding path graph Pm. Intuitively, this graph illustrates as if a Turán graph is banded by r uniform ropes. We determine some basic graph properties including independence number, chromatic number, and diameter of banded-Turán. The main result in this paper is we obtain that the metric dimension of banded-Turán turns out that it depends on the number of its classes. If it has two classes then the metric dimension is equal to n-1 and if it has more than two classes then the metric dimension is equal to the metric dimension of Turán graph included in it.

Abstract

Di era digital ini, dunia pendidikan dituntut untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Salah satunya adalah penerapan digital learning. Digital learning juga kerap diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kesiapan siswa SMP di Kabupaten Purworejo dalam menghadapi digital learning pada pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada enam sekolah SMP dengan strata tinggi, sedang, dan rendah berdasarkan nilai Ujian Nasional matematika. Adapun sampel yang diambil sebanyak 171 siswa kelas VIII SMP. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah stratified proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes literasi digital yang terdiri dari 20 soal dengan bentuk pilihan ganda kompleks. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan estimasi parameter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi literasi digital siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika secara umum berada dalam kategori rendah. Rendahnya kemampuan literasi digital siswa menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan siswa menghadapi digital learning pada pembelajaran matematika juga rendah. Penelitian ini juga membahas bagaimana aspek-aspek literasi digital mempengaruhi kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi digital learning pada pembelajaran matematika. In this digital era, the world of education is required to keep up with the times. One of them is the application of digital learning. Digital learning is also often applied in mathematics learning. This research aims to map digital literacy competencies in mathematics learning for junior high school students in Purworejo Regency. This type of research is survey with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at six junior high schools in Purworejo Regency with high, medium, and low strata based on National Mathematics Examination scores. The sample of this study was 171 students of eighth grade junior high school. The sampling technique is stratified proportional random sampling. Data collection was carried out through a digital literacy test consisting of 20 questions in complex multiple-choice. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics and parameter estimation. The research results show that students' digital literacy competence in mathematics learning in general is in the low category. The low level of students' digital literacy skills shows that their readiness to face digital learning in mathematics is also low. This research also discusses how aspects of digital literacy influence students' readiness to face digital learning in mathematics.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui aspek proses, aspek produk, dan penerapan setelah dilaksanakan evaluasi pada program bilingual mata pelajaran matematika di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Mix metode, diawali dengan penggunaan metode kualitatif dilanjutkan dengan kuantitatif. Model evaluasi context, input, process dan product (CIPP) digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan fokus pada dua komponen yaitu komponen process dan komponen product. Penelitian evaluasi ini menggunakan data penelitian kualitatif yang diperoleh melalui catatan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Sumber data diperoleh dari guru dan peserta didik program kelas bilingual. Hasil penelitiannya yaitu pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran program bilingual termasuk pada kategori "Baik". Hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan penilaian program bilingual dengan menggunakan telaah dokumen berada pada kategori cukup dengan persentase 65%. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi, penerapan hasil evaluasi dengan melakukan refleksi atau membuat rangkuman dengan melibatkan peserta didik serta melaksanakan pengayaan didapatkan hasil bahwa penerapan hasil evaluasi efektif menggunakan uji t dengan nilai gain 0,32 kategori "Sedang" pada program bilingual mata pelajaran matematika. Kesimpulan dari penelitiannya ini yaitu secara keseluruhan proses pembelajaran program bilingual di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta ketercapaian pelaksanaan dengan persentase yaitu 70,45% termasuk pada kategori "Baik". Pada kegiatan pendahuluan dan kegiatan inti sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik. The purpose of this research is to find out the process aspects, product aspects, and results of the implementation after evaluating the bilingual program in mathematics at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The research was conducted using the Mix Methods approach, beginning with the use of qualitative methods followed by quantitative. The CIPP evaluation model is used in this study with a focus on two components, namely the process component and the product component. This evaluation research uses qualitative research data obtained through interview notes, observations, and document studies. Sources of data were obtained from teachers and students of bilingual class programs. The results of his research are that the implementation of the learning process for bilingual programs is included in the "Good" category. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of the bilingual program assessment using document review are in the sufficient category with a percentage of 65%. After evaluating, applying the results of the evaluation by reflecting or making a summary by involving students and carrying out enrichment, it was found that the application of the evaluation results was effective using the t test with a gain value of 0.32 in the "Medium" category in the bilingual program in mathematics. The conclusion from this research is that overall the learning process of the bilingual program at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta has achieved implementation with a percentage of 70.45% included in the "Good" category. In the preliminary activities and core activities have been carried out properly.

Abstract

Minyak mentah atau crude oil memiliki peranan yang vital dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara, karena minyak mentah merupakan sumber energi penggerak perekonomian. Untuk menjaga kestabilan perekonomian, maka harga minyak mentah pada periode mendatang perlu diantisipasi dengan cara melakukan prediksi terhadap harga komoditas minyak mentah dunia. Salah satu model yang dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi harga minyak mentah dalam jangka waktu pendek adalah Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan model GBM dalam memprediksi harga minyak mentah di masa pandemi Covid-19, serta mengukur keakuratan model tersebut. Pada penelitian ini, prediksi harga minyak menggunakan model GBM dilakukan dengan 50, 100, dan 1000 iterasi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa model GBM dapat bekerja dengan baik, dalam memprediksi harga minyak mentah di masa pandemi Covid-19. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai MAPE yang kurang dari 10%. Crude oil has a vital role in the economic growth of a country, because crude oil is a source of energy driving the economy. To maintain economic stability, the price of crude oil in the coming period needs to be anticipated by making predictions on world crude oil commodity prices. One of the models that can be used to predict crude oil prices in the short term is Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM). The purpose of this study is to implement the GBM model in predicting crude oil prices during the Covid-19 pandemic, and to measure the accuracy of the model. In this study, the prediction of oil prices using the GBM model was carried out with 50, 100, and 1000 iterations. The results obtained indicate that the GBM model can work well in predicting crude oil prices during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is indicated by the MAPE value which is less than 10%.

Abstract

Spektrum dari suatu graf adalah susunan nilai eigen dari matriks ketetanggaan graf beserta multiplisitasnya. Spektrum graf yang dihasilkan dari matriks Laplace disebut spektrum Laplace. Matriks Laplace dari graf diperoleh dari selisih matriks ketetangaan graf dengan matriks diagonal dimana elemen-elemen diagonal utamanya merupakan derajat simpul dari graf. Penelitian ini mengkaji bentuk spektrum Laplace dari graf Mahkota dan graf Benteng. Graf Mahkota adalah graf yang diperoleh dari komplemen hasil perkalian kartesian graf Lengkap K2 dan graf Lengkap Kn. Sementara itu graf Benteng Bnn adalah graf yang diperoleh dari hasil perkalian kartesian dua buah graf Lengkap Kn. Hasil penelitian telah diperoleh polinomial karakteristik dari matriks Laplace untuk graf Mahkota dengan n>=3 dan graf Benteng Bnn dengan n>=2. Lebih lanjut spektrum Laplace dari kedua graf juga telah diperoleh. The spectrum on a graph is a set of eigenvalues of the adjacency matrix along with their multiplicities. The spectrum of a Laplace matrix is called the Laplace spectrum. The Laplace matrix of a graph is obtained from the difference between a adjacency matrix and a diagonal matrix where the elemens of main diagonal are the vertices degree of the graph. This research studied the Laplace spectrum on the crown graph and the rook graph.  A crown graph is a graph obtained from the complement of the cartesian product of complete graph K2 and Kn. Meanwhile, rook graph is a graph obtained from the cartesian product of two complete graph Kn. The results of study are formula of the characteristic polynomial of Laplace matrix for the crown graph with n>=3 and the rook graph with n>=2. Furthermore, the Laplace spectrum of both graphs has also been obtained.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang bervariasinya penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan pendidik sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya keterampilan berhitung perkalian dasar yang dimiliki siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya perbedaan pengaruh penggunaan metode jarimatika dan metode permainan kartu terhadap keterampilan berhitung perkalian dasar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen jenis kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent pretest and posttest Control Group Desain. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar berumur antara 8 – 9 tahun yang belum mempelajari materi perkalian, tetapi sudah mempelajari materi pertambahan sebanyak 40 orang Siswa yang ditentukan melalui teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode ini memiliki pengaruh yang sama dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung perkalian dasar Siswa dilihat dari selisih hasil pretes dan posttest yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 24,05 dan 25,6 . Kemudian, hasil perolehan gainscore yang diperoleh keduanya berada pada tingkat interpretasi sedang yaitu 0,55 dan 0,59. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode jarimatika dan metode permainan kartu tidak memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung perkalian dasar pada siswa sekolah dasar dan pengaruh keduanya sama-sama berada pada tingkat interpretasi sedang, sehingga kedua metode ini dapat menjadi alternatif solusi bagi pendidik untuk dapat diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran materi perkalian dasar yang akan dilaksanakan guna meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung perkalian dasar siswa. This research is motivated by the lack of variety in the use of learning methods used by educators, which has an impact on the low basic multiplication calculation skills of students. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of finding out whether or not there is a difference in the influence of using the Jarimatika method and the card game method on elementary school students' basic multiplication counting skills. This research uses a quasi-experimental type of experimental method with a Nonequivalent pretest and posttest Control Group Design. The population and sample in this study were class II elementary school students aged between 8 - 9 years who had not studied multiplication material, but had studied addition material as many as 40 students who were determined using the Purposive Sampling technique. The research results obtained show that these two methods have the same effect in improving students' basic multiplication numeracy skills as seen from the difference in pretest and posttest results obtained, namely 24.05 and 25.6. Then, the gainscore results obtained by both were at a medium interpretation level, namely 0.55 and 0.59. It can be concluded that the Jarimatika method and the card game method do not have a different influence in improving basic multiplication counting skills in elementary school students and the influence of both is at a moderate level of interpretation, so that these two methods can be an alternative solution for educators to be applied in the process of learning basic multiplication material that will be carried out in order to improve students' basic multiplication calculation skills.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di Indonesia masih belum berkembang dan tergolong rendah. Hal yang sama ditemukan di SDN Karangantu. Masih banyak siswa yang belum bisa menjelaskan secara rinci dari soal yang diberikan. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan hal tersebut adalah metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru adalah metode ceramah tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media tangram berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam materi bangun datar kelas IV SDN Karangantu sebanyak 38 siswa tiap kelas. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi experiment design bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah menggunakan tes uraian materi bangun datar yang mengandung indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media tangram berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam materi bangun datar kelas IV di SDN Karangantu. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample t-test menghasilkan thitung > ttabel (4,8 > 2,0) yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media tangram berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 lebih baik digunakan dari pada pembelajaran secara konvensional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam materi bangun datar. Dengan penggunaan media tangram berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 pengaruh yang diberikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam materi bangun datar lebih tinggi.  The creative thinking skills of students in Indonesia are still underdeveloped and relatively low. The same thing was found at SDN Karangantu. There are still many students who cannot explain in detail the questions given. One of the factors that causes this is the learning method used by the teacher is the lecture method without using learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of tangram media based Articulate Storyline 3 on students' creative thinking abilities in class IV SDN Karangantu consisting of 38 students per class. The research approach used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design type of nonequivalent control group design. The data collection technique is to use a flat material description test that contains indicators of the ability to think creatively. The results showed that the use of tangram media based Articulate Storyline 3 had an influence on students' creative thinking abilities in class IV flat shape material at SDN Karangantu. This can be seen from the results of the hypothesis using Independet Sample t-test testing yielding tcount > ttable (4.8 > 2.0) which indicates that the use of tangram media based Articulate Storyline 3- is better used than conventional learning on students' creative thinking abilities in flat shape material. With the use of tangram media based Articulate Storyline 3 the influence is given to students' creative thinking abilities in higher flat shape material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan pemahaman konsep matematis. Data diambil dari 58 responden yang berasal dari siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri di Bandar Lampung. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path analysis), guna melihat hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung antara variabel laten serta mengkonfirmasi kembali model yang telah dihipotesiskan dengan berbantuan SPSS dan Lisrel 8.80. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan baik antara peubah laten ke peubah laten lainnya maupun antara peubah indikator ke peubah latennyaa itu sendiri. Terjadi kombinasi linear pada indikator kelima peubah laten pemahaman konsep matematis yaitu mengaitkan berbagai kosep sehingga yang terlihat hubungannya hanya empat indikator lainnya dan terdapat hubungan antara peubah indikator pemahaman konsep dengan peubah laten pemahaman konsep itu sendiri serta yang berpengaruh kuat dalam peubah laten indikator berpikir kreatif terletak pada indikator ketiga dan indikator kedua pada peubah laten kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dengan nilai masing-masing koefisien λ sebesar 0.96 dan 1.32. This study analyzes the relationship between creative thinking ability and understanding of mathematical concepts. The data were taken from 58 respondents who came from class XI students of SMA Negeri in Bandar Lampung. The data analysis used was path analysis, in order to see direct and indirect relationships between latent variables and to reconfirm the hypothesized model with the help of SPSS and Lisrel 8.80. The results showed that there was a good relationship between latent variables and other latent variables and between indicator variables and the latent variables themselves. There is a linear combination of the five latent variables for understanding mathematical concepts, namely associating various concepts so that only the other four indicators can be seen and there is a relationship between the indicator variables for understanding the concept and the latent variable for understanding the concept itself and the one that has a strong influence on the latent variable for indicators of creative thinking lies in the third indicator and the second indicator on the latent variable ability to understand mathematical concepts with the respective values of the coefficient λ of 0.96 and 1.32.
