Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work flexibility, work discipline, and work environment on employee performance at PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara Gempolkrep Sugar Factory in Mojokerto. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method through multiple linear regression analysis. The research sample consisted of 67 employees from the general finance and plantation departments, selected using a saturation sampling method. The results show that work flexibility, work discipline, and work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, these three variables also have a significant effect on employee performance. This study is expected to serve as a basis for companies to improve employee performance through optimal management of work flexibility, work discipline, and work environment.

Abstract

This study examines how work ethic, job satisfaction, and leadership affect employee performance at Sarkies Aisyiyah Hospital Kudus. The researchers used a quantitative survey of 200 employees. The researchers used SmartPLS to analyze data. The results demonstrate that work ethic and job satisfaction exert positive and significant effects on leadership. Furthermore, work ethic, job satisfaction, and leadership each have positive and significant effects on employee performance. Mediation analysis confirms that leadership positively and significantly mediates the effects of work ethic and job satisfaction on employee performance. The research model exhibits strong explanatory power for the performance variable. These findings confirm that creating a work ethic culture, job satisfaction, and effective leadership can boost employee performance. Leadership strategically maximizes individual contributions to organizational sustainability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan egaliter dan feodal terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja dalam konteks perusahaan perkebunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data survei dari 150 karyawan PT Sumatera Sawit Lestari. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) untuk menguji hubungan langsung dan efek mediasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan egaliter memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan, baik secara langsung maupun melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Gaya kepemimpinan feodal terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja tetapi tidak terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan arah efek mediasi tidak konsisten dengan hipotesis awal. Motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan memainkan peran penting sebagai mekanisme yang menghubungkan kepemimpinan dan kinerja. Keunikan penelitian ini terletak pada perbandingan eksplisit antara kepemimpinan egaliter dan feodal dalam konteks budaya organisasi perkebunan di Indonesia, serta pengintegrasian Teori Penentuan Diri untuk menjelaskan peran mediasi motivasi kerja. Dalam praktiknya, perusahaan disarankan untuk memperkuat praktik kepemimpinan egaliter dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of workforce transformation on SME performance with ICT utilisation as a mediating variable. A quantitative research approach was employed using survey data collected from 119 SME owners. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results indicate that workforce transformation has a significant positive effect on ICT utilisation. Furthermore, ICT utilisation significantly improves SME performance. The findings also show that workforce transformation directly enhances SME performance. In addition, ICT utilisation partially mediates the relationship between workforce transformation and SME performance. These results suggest that the development of workforce capabilities and adaptability plays an important role in supporting the effective utilisation of digital technologies and improving SME performance. This study highlights the importance of strengthening workforce competencies, particularly digital skills, to support digital transformation in SMEs. Future research is recommended to involve larger samples and explore additional organizational factors that may influence SME performance.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and analyze the impact of incentives, rewards, and work facilities on employee job satisfaction at Perumda Air Minum Surya Sembada, Surabaya. Utilizing an associative quantitative approach, this research employed a saturated sampling technique to include a total of 35 employees as respondents. Data analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression using SPSS 31 software to ensure precise statistical results. The findings demonstrate that, simultaneously, the variables of incentives (X1), rewards (X2), and work facilities (X3) have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction (Y). While the partial effects may vary, the overall model suggests that work facilities serve as a critical factor in enhancing the workplace experience. These results provide empirical evidence for the management of Perumda Air Minum Surya Sembada to strategically optimize their rewards systems and infrastructure to maintain high levels of employee contentment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the factors that affect the performance of MSMEs with financial literacy, financial attitude, financial management behavior, and financial inclusion as independent variables. This research is of a quantitative type. The population and sample used were Semarang City MSME actors, which were selected through convenience sampling techniques  so that the respondents of this study amounted to 250 MSMEs. The research data was obtained through a field survey by distributing questionnaires to MSME actors in Semarang City. This study uses primary data analyzed by multiple linear regression data analysis technique using SPSS version 26. The findings of this study found that the performance of MSMEs was positively and significantly influenced by financial literacy and financial management behavior, while financial attitude and financial inclusion had no influence on the performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of ad exposure and social influence on the purchase decisions of Fore Coffee consumers in Semarang, with purchase intention serving as a mediating variable. The research addresses how ad exposure and social influence, both directly and indirectly, affect consumer purchase decisions based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory. A quantitative research design was employed using a structured questionnaire distributed to 100 consumers of Fore Coffee Gayamsari Semarang selected through accidental sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.1.1.6 to test the relationships among the studied variables. The results indicate that ad exposure and social influence have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Purchase intention also positively and significantly affects purchase decisions. However, ad exposure and social influence do not have a direct significant effect on purchase decision. Furthermore, purchase intention mediates the relationship between ad exposure, social influence, and purchase decisions. The findings highlight the crucial role of purchase intention in shaping consumer purchase decisions and emphasize the importance of effective ad exposure and social influence in enhancing consumer purchase intention. Keywords: Ad exposure, Social Influence, Purchase Intention, Purchase Decisions, S-O-R Theory
