Abstract

Transportation infrastructure is available in Indonesia, yet it is not sufficient to meet the increasing demand. Construction of new infrastructure is needed to support the transportationsystem. The construction of Cisalatri Road and Bridge project is a construction of a new access road to Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium from Rancanumpang Highway. The type of the constructed road pavement is a rigid pavement. The work includes excavation (using equipment), pile foundation,limestone embankment, geotextile, soil embankment, base course, lean concrete, and concrete pavement work. Based on the result of fatigue and erotion analysis, the concrete pavement thickness with an excess thickness of about 4 cm is eligible. The project has some delays due to change ofworkplan, large amount of rain, limited materials and human resources, as well as the availability of heavy equipment.Keywords: construction, access road, Gedebage

Abstract

PT Central Texindo is a knitting company located in Padalarang Bandung. Currently the company is facing problems in the knitting department. The problem faced by the company is thatinstallation time cones are long enough so that the output of the company is less than optimal. In addition there is also the production disruptions that can not be avoided that thread broke during ongoing production. The required data, data on the number and type of machine used, the data processing time of each machine, cones installation time data, event data and time the thread breaking these connections, the data engine oil changes, and gray cloth production data. After the data collected, conducted runs test and goodness of fit test. Next conducted model using software Promodel. Simulation in PT Central Texindo belong to the non-terminating simulation. The proposal is made that a change of assignment operators in an effort to increase production output with the same number of operators. Assignment operator is an operator currently supervise 3 machines, which occurs when a thread broke operator must immediately make improvements to the production process can take place again. In addition, operators must perform the replacement cones every machine theyoversee. Average gray cloth which can be produced as many as 555,632 companies roll per day. The scenario is to create assignment two operators supervise 6 machines, three operators supervise 9 machines, and four operators supervise 12 machines. The results obtained indicate that the averageoutput of the scenarios four operators supervise 12 machines produce more output. The increase in output is obtained that is equal to 17,42% or average production output 652,421 roll per day. Proposed assignment operator is only limited to the four operators who supervise 12 machines because of the location of the installation of the cones are limited or not allowed to exceed 4 operators.Keywords: Runs Test, Goodness Of Fit, Simulation, Increased Production Output

Abstract

Creative and innovative treatment of media can increase childrens interest in learning the language acquisition. The purpose of this paper is to reveal an increase in language skills in children with E-book “Asal-usul Padi”treatment. This paper uses the method of instructional media development and action research (action research). Media were developed with media programming by displaying various forms of impressions in the E-book “Asal-usul Padi”tools both visually and audiovisually. This treatment of media is applied to sensorimotor as a neurological processes by manipulating, facilitating,and adapting the environment in order to achieve improvement, repair, and maintenance competence language in children. The result of this research showed that the increasing the proficiency index is registered with hi - tech media treatment and able boost both value and creative character in children, especially the age of 5 years. It was seen in the change of any action bythe author based on the content and speech acts as well as the measurement index of child language skill, especially in terms of syntactic and pragmatic development. In addition, the development of media for language acquisition will foster motivation, creativity, and positive character traits inchildren. Abstract

This research aims to find the description and the profiles of School Engagement that being applied by the students of Pangudi Luhur Van Lith high school. School Engagement is included in three types of multifaceted components which are behavioral, emotional and cognitive. The data wascollected by using School Engagement‟s Questionare that was contructed from theoretical concept of School Engagement from Fredericks, Blumenfeld and Paris (2005). The data has been analyzed by using descriptive analysis method to find the conclusion. The result shows that 33,87% of the studentshave engaging in school‟s activity. In contrary, 66,13% of the students still not engaging yet and divided into 5 different profiles.Keywords : School Engagement, Behavioral, Emotional, Cognitive

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect on Learning Approach toward theLearning Achievement of Engineering‟s students at one of the private Universities in Bandung, whotook the course in Rangkaian Listrik I on February – June 2013. The population of students who tookcourses in Rangkaian Listrik I on February – June 2013 are 110 students, and the sample used are 98students.The design used in this study is a correlation research design. Measuring instruments used inthis study based on Learning Approach measuring instrument which is a translation of the RevisedTwo-Factor Study Process Questinnaire (R-SPQ-2F), which consists of 20 items. Validity of measuring instrument have ranges 0.304–0.557, reliability is 0.816. Measuring instruments used to measure learning achievement is the quality of the course grades Rangkaian Listrik I. The dataobtained were processed and tested by the method of Pearson product moment correlation coefficient using SPSS 17.0.The conclusion is a weak influence on Learning Approach of the Learning Achievement.Suggestions for further research, testing can be performed on other factors of learning achievements, and can be done in a course of study in the field of Social or Science.Keywords: Learning Achievement, Learning Approach

Abstract

Duta Irama is a store that specialize in the sale of electronic components. To develop in sale, Duta Irama need a facilities that can manage sales data, products inventory data, and increase the number of customers. Based on the necessary of Duta Irama then will be made an e-commerce websiteapplication in order to fulfill Duta Irama‟s necessary.This website will implement personalization system through the customer. This personalization is expected to attract customer interest, then it can increase number of customers. This personalization can treat customer personally with userecommender system with content based filtering method. Abstract

This research describe the type of forgiveness in the members of university student choir of „X‟ University in Bandung. The sample are selected by using the method of purposive sampling. There are 42 samples that participate in the research. The method of research used in this research is thedescriptive research method.To measure the primary data in the research, the Decisional Forgiveness Scale (DFS) and Emotional Forgiveness Scale (EFS) are used. Both scales were constructed by Worthington (2006)whose works have been translated into Bahasa Indonesia by Heliany Kiswantomo, M.Si., Psychologist. Meanwhile, the validity of the measuring tool utilizes the construct validity technique ofRank Spearman formula with the result 8 items are valid for the EFS and 7 items valid for the DFS with validity scale of each measuring tool in between 0,4-0,7. Furthermore, the reliability of the measuring tool is processed using alpha cronbach with the result of 0.567 for the DFS and 0.782 for the EFS.The results acquired based on the statistic data process are as follow: 38.1% respondents have high level in both DF (Decisional Fogiveness) and EF (Emotional Forgiveness) degrees and the 33.3% respondents have low level in both DF and EF degrees. In addition, 16.7% respondents have atype of forgiveness with a high DF degree and 11.9% respondents have a type of forgiveness with a high EF degree. There are also relations between the aspects of forgiveness traits, depth of hurt, frequency of hurtful events, attitude of the offender, empathy, and gender of the members of universitystudent choir of „X‟ University in Bandung with the forgiveness types. Based on this research, the researcher offers advices to other researchers who are interested to do research on the correlation between the factors affecting forgiveness types. Moreover, the research may also observe on the contribution of the environment in developing forgiveness in an individual.Keywords : forgiveness, type of forgiveness, members of university student choir

Abstract

This research aims to find out the possibility of implementing New HSK basic as the competence target for Mandarin teaching in high school in Indonesia. The methods used in this research is analytical descriptive that used primary and secondary data, with quantitative and qualitative analysis. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the contribution of the four basic functions of social support to the dimensions of psychological well-being on the elderly that live at Panti “X”Sukabumi. The dimensions of psychological well- being are measured by a modified version of The Ryff Scales ofPsychological Well-Being, based on Ryff„s theory (1995). The functions of social support are measured by using a social support questionnaire that is constructed based on the social support theory of Uchino (2004). The validity process of both instruments is performed by using content validity with 4 experts. The research questionnaire had been distributed to20 elderly that live at Panti “X” Sukabumi. The data were statistically processed by using the statistical multiple regression.Based on the statistical analysis in this research, the conclusions are: An emotional support has a significant contribution to a positive relationship with one another, a tangible/instrumental support has a significant contribution to the environmental mastery, while a companionship support has a significant contribution to the personal growth. It is suggested to examine the relationship or influencial traits of social support and dimensions of psychological well-being. The manager andhead of the boarding arrange activities to increase the intensity of communication of elderly and equip them with facilities to support the health of the elderly.Keywords: Psychological well-being, social support, elderly
