Abstract

Coding means telling the computer to do something. In order to achieve this, the coder must understand what the problem is and what the best solution is. One of the things needed is pre-coding skills, including computational thinking skills. This study aims to improve students' computational thinking skills as a pre-coding ability. This classroom action research was conducted at a public elementary school in Dauh Puri, Denpasar, involving 20 first grade students. Data were collected based on observations in working on activity sheets and the results of student work on activity sheets. The data that has been collected was analyzed by quantitative descriptive. The results of data analysis showed that the students' computational thinking ability increased from pre-cycle activities, cycle I and cycle II respectively from 47.70 % to 65.05% and increased again to 81.50%. This increase in scores indicates that students' computational thinking skills can be improved by using student age-appropriate activity sheets as the basis for coding skills without having to involve a computer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 57 Lubuklinggau after using a HOTS-based scientific learning approach. The method used is a quasi-experimental research method, with a pre-test-post-test group research design. The population in this study were all students of class V SDN 57 Lubuklinggau totaling 22 students who were the sample in the study. Data collection is done by giving a description of 6 questions. Data were analyzed using the z-test at a significant level of = 0,05. Based on the results of the post-test data analysis, it was found that zcount 5,50 and ztable 1,64 means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 57 Lubuklinggau after the implementation of the HOTS-based scientific learning approach are significantly complete. The average obtained is 77,65 and the percentage of the number of students who complete reaches 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a contextual-based Uno Stacko learning media design for valid, practical, and effective thematic learning. The subjects in this study were2 lecturers as media validators and language validators, class teachers, and 19 class IV.B students at SD Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau. The method used is Research and Development (RD) with a 4-D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of the assessment analysis of all validators obtained a score of 0.85 in the very valid category. Recapitulation of practicality percentage reached96.2%in the very practical category. Then the results of the effectiveness obtained an N-gain value of 0.8 in the high category. It can be concluded that the contextual-based Uno Stacko media is valid, practical, and effective. Thus, it can be stated that Contextual-based Uno Stacko media is suitable for use in thematic learning of fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This research by Nurhudha NPM 5018077 entitled the application of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type cooperative learning model in science learning for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 49 Lubuklinggau with the main supervisor Yeni Asmara, M.pd and the assistant supervisor Eka Lokaria, M.pd, Si. The purpose of this study was to determine the completeness of science learning outcomes for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 49 Lubuklinggau after the cooperative model of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) was applied. This type of research is a pre-experimental design research that was carried out without a comparison class with a pre-test and post-test group design. The population is the entire fifth grade of SD Negeri 49 Lubuklinggau for the academic year 2021/2022, which consists of 47 students consisting of two classes and as the sample is class V.A which is taken at random by 23 students. data collection was taken by test technique. The collected data were analyzed using t-test. based on the results of the t-test analysis at a significant level = 0.05, obtained t_count (20.11) t_table (1.717), so it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of science learning for fifth graders at SD Negeri 49 Lubuklinggau after the implementation of the Team Assisted Individualization cooperative model (TAI) significantly completed.
