Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop media using Macromedia Flash 8 applications in elementary thematic learning, (2) determine the feasibility of developing Canva applications in elementary thematic learning. This research is a type of Research and Development (RD) research with the ADDIE model which includes five steps, including: analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation . The subjects in this study were media expert validators, material experts, education practitioners, namely fourth grade teachers and fourth grade elementary school students. The research instruments used in data collection were questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Macromedia Flash 8 Application learning media in the Thematic Learning of the Always Save Energy Theme for Grade IV Elementary School is "Very Eligible" with details of the percentage of eligibility given by media experts in Sub Theme 1 of 86.6% with the category of "Very Eligible", Sub Theme media 2 of 83.3% in the "Very Eligible" category, Sub Theme media 3 by 86.6% in the "Very Eligible" category. Material experts on media Sub Theme 1 are 94% in the "Very Eligible" category, Sub Theme 2 is 94% in the "Very Eligible" category, Sub Theme 3 is 92% in the "Very Eligible" category. For education practitioners in media Sub Theme 1, 94% in the "Very Eligible" category, 94% in Sub Theme 2 in the "Very Eligible" category, 94% in Sub Theme 3 in the "Very Eligible" category, Individual trials of 95.2% with the "Very Eligible" category and small group trials of 93.7% with the "Very Eligible" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Macromedia Flash 8 Application learning media in the thematic learning of the Always Save Energy for grade IV SD Negeri 016555 Asahan is "very feasible" to be used by students during the learning process.

Abstract

The success of education in elementary schools will determine the success of education at the next level. But academic procrastination is one of the threats to the success of education in elementary schools. The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the academic procrastination of students in the class of SD Negeri 1 Nusa Raya, Belitang III sub-district. (2) To determine the factors that cause students' academic procrastination at SD Negeri 1 Nusaraya, Belitang III sub-district. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that there was academic procrastination behavior at MTs Mambaul Ulum SD Negeri 1 Nusaraya, Belitang III sub-district, forms of academic procrastination behavior in students including delays and delays in collecting assignments, depending on friends, and poor time management. Factors that cause students to do academic procrastination Internal factors in the form of Lack of motivation to learn, self-discipline, and ideals to be achieved seriously, and also external factors, namely the environment, parenting patterns, and communication technology that affect participants’ students to procrastinate, be late and not submit assignments.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the absence of appropriate teaching materials in the online learning process. Learning is only done through whatsapp groups because of the limited distance between teachers and students. This study aims to produce Electronic Student Worksheets (e-LKPD) based on Real Problems on data statistics material with sub-materials mean, median and mode to be applied in mathematics learning activities in elementary school and determine the feasibility of the developed e-LKPD. The subjects in this study were material experts and media experts. This type of research is research and development ( RD ) using ADDIE Analysis (Analysis), Design (Design), Development (Development), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation (Evaluation). However, this research only limits the stages to the ADD stage, namely Analysis, Design, and Development. The instrument used in this study was a validation sheet that was reviewed by material experts and media experts. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study are e-LKPD products based on Real Problems that fall into the "very valid" category in terms of the validation results of material expert studies with a percentage of 96.13% obtained from the content feasibility aspect 96.8%, the presentation feasibility aspect 97.2% , and linguistic aspects 94.4%. The validity of the e-LKPD from the media expert's review was stated to be very valid with a percentage of 95.2% obtained from the graphic aspect 95.4% and the software engineering aspect 95.0%. Based on the validation results from the material expert review and the media expert review, it can be concluded that the Real Problem-based e-LKPD that was developed is suitable for use in the mathematics learning process in elementary school.

Abstract

Education is a very vital thing in human life. Educational philosophy is a philosophy that sees education as a process to humanize students. This study seeks to reveal how the knowledge of PGSD students about the philosophy of education and students' perceptions of the philosophy of education. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive research type. Respondents in this study were 174 students. This study found that the source of knowledge of each elementary school teacher education student about educational philosophy was 60.3 percent, namely social media. Most elementary school teacher education students consider educational philosophy to be an important science. Most of the perceptions about the importance of educational philosophy are because it can provide a complete understanding of science and be able to use the knowledge possessed. Philosophy of Education is very important to be taught to PGSD students who will become educators. For this reason, it is necessary to develop an innovative and creative educational philosophy of education model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the success of the application of the inquiry learning learning model in increasing students' critical thinking in thematic learning of Theme 7 Technology Development in class III SD IT Bina Insan Batang Kuis. The design of this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart is a collaborative research conducted in 3 cycles. The data collection instruments were in the form of tests, observations, and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this study using qualitative and quantitative data. Based on the results of the study, it is known that before being given action in class, the percentage of critical thinking students is 35%, meaning that 9 out of 26 students who achieve a completeness score above the KKM 70. So the researchers took action by applying the inquiry learning model. The results of the application of the inquiry learning model run optimally as evidenced by the teacher's observations in the first cycle of 73.33 (enough), the second cycle increased by 83.33 (good) and experienced an increase in the third cycle of 93.33 (very good). The results of the first cycle of student observations from 66.66 (enough) to 87 (good) in the second cycle and obtained an increase of 90 (very good) in the third cycle. Students' critical thinking by applying the inquiry learning model to the first cycle, which obtained a completeness percentage of 53.84% (not critical), the second cycle increased to 84.61% (critical), and increased in the third cycle by 92.30% (very critical). The results of the research that researchers have done, can be seen in the acquisition of data from the cycle has increased. Thus it can be concluded that applying the inquiry learning model in thematic learning of Theme 7 Technology Development in class III SD IT Bina Insan Batang Kuis can improve students' critical thinking.  Therefore, it is suggested that teachers can apply the inquiry learning model with the aim of improving students' critical thinking.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for locally charged education to improve the quality of education in the Purwokerto area. This research is a qualitative research where data sources were obtained through Focus Group Discussions (FGD) involving 25 education practitioners. as well as through a questionnaire given to 250 users, namely grade 1-6 elementary school students who were randomly selected in the Purwokerto area. The results of this study were obtained in the form of a strategic plan for Purwokerto local culture-based education, namely through equity and expansion of access to Purwokerto culture-based education, improving quality, relevance and competitiveness rooted in regional culture, strengthening accountability governance and public image as supporting elements. The conclusion of this research is in the form of recommendation considerations for education containing local wisdom, including equity and expansion of access to learning with local Purwokerto culture to make the identity and identity of education in Purwokerto, improving quality, relevance and competitiveness through unique characteristics in the form of education with regional cultural wisdom, and strengthening governance, accountability and public image regarding education based on local culture.

Abstract

In the millennial era, the development of technology, information and communication is moving very rapidly. especially in the field of communication which is one of the most frequently used technologies today. Technology has both positive and negative impacts. One of the positive impacts is the ease of interacting with other people, but the negative impact of technology that most often occurs is verbal insults carried out on social media and is called cyberbullying. One of the problems that arise from cyberbullying is self-confidence. Counseling is analyzed to increase self-confidence for cyberbullying victims supported by a mindful-based cognitive therapy approach that will help participants learn how to recognize their feelings and see themselves as separate from their thoughts and moods. Supported by bibliotherapy techniques that focus on healing because it is believed that readers can influence individual attitudes, feelings, and behavior as expected.

Abstract

Career planning for students is important to optimize by providing the best stimulation. One of the stimulations that can be done by counseling teachers is by providing group guidance services. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of group guidance services in improving career planning in students. The method used in this research is the library research method. The way of collecting data in this study is by using the documentation method and collecting written sources related to career planning using group guidance services. The results of this study explained that group guidance services can improve career planning in students. This article has implications for encouraging counseling teachers to use the group counseling service method to introduce career planning to students.

Abstract

Indonesia, such as the increasing spending of money by the younger generation and the rise of social media applications, makes the younger generation always want to satisfy their emotional needs, but they don't have enough money so that it becomes social pressure for the younger generation. Anxiety about being left behind makes it difficult for this generation to say no, and this phenomenon is one of the factors why there is Fomo syndrome. This study contains problem solving from FOMO Learning in the New Normal Era, with Humanistic Existence through Group Counseling to increase student learning responsibility, assistance to individuals in group situations that are prevention and healing, and directed at providing convenience in class development and growth. This research is research designed using the library method. The results are in the form of Humanistic Existential counseling emphasizing core human conditions. Normal personality development is based on the uniqueness of each individual.

Abstract

Textbooks are one of the teaching materials compiled by a person or group of people who are experts in their fields as instructional tools. Textbooks are arranged based on the applicable curriculum because textbooks have a function as the main source of information for students. Therefore, textbooks need to be evaluated for feasibility before being used. The purpose of this study was to find out the content of character values and the feasibility of the contents of the Integrated Thematic book Lingkungan Sahabat Kita for SD/MI Class V published by Erlangga with the 2013 curriculum criteria. The data collection method used is the documentation method. The evaluation results show that the Erlangga's Thematic Integrated Theme Lingkungan Sahabat Kita for SD/MI Class V published by Erlangga contains 8 character values contained in KI-1 and KI-2. In addition, the feasibility of the contents of the textbook obtained a percentage of 88.54% which was included in the very feasible category for use.
