Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Learning Design Module (LDM) in the Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) with the theme of Employment for eleventh-grade students at SMK Graha Madina Singosari. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research focuses on three main aspects: (1) the design and content of the LDM, (2) the classroom implementation process, and (3) the impact of LDM use on students' character competency. Data were collected through classroom observations on P5’s teacher and students of grade XI at SMK Graha Madina Singosari, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that the LDM, developed based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL), successfully integrates modern office administration skills with the strengthening of core character values such as responsibility, independence, and collaboration. The implementation of LDM fostered active student engagement through contextual learning activities that simulate real-world work practices, although challenges remain in time management and group dynamics. Overall, the use of LDM not only enhances instructional effectiveness but also serves as a transformative tool for character development in vocational education. These findings underscore the importance of project- and reflection-based learning design in supporting Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes 21st-century competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe elementary school students' perceptions of the contribution of the project-based learning "Food Chain Diorama" in fostering creative learning. Creativity in learning is an essential aspect to develop students' potential holistically. Project-based learning, with its characteristics involving students actively in inquiry processes, collaboration, and the production of tangible works, is believed to stimulate creativity. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, involving fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 5 Metro Selatan as participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation during the implementation of the "Food Chain Diorama" project. Data analysis was conducted using the Huberman and Miles model. The results showed that the majority of students had a positive perception of the contribution of the "Food Chain Diorama" project in fostering their creativity. They experienced improvements in their ability to generate new ideas, think flexibly, and imagine while constructing the diorama. Additionally, the collaborative aspect of the project was perceived as contributing to the development of creative ideas through idea exchange among peers. This research implies that project-based learning, especially with engaging and contextual themes such as the food chain, has the potential to be an effective strategy in realizing creative learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study examines the correlation between mental workload and academic performance of boarding students at Ihsanul Fikri Islamic Boarding High School Mungkid during biology learning. Mental workload was measured using the Mental Effort Rating Scale, while academic performance was measured using the Students' Academic Performance Scale. Employing quantitative correlation design, the study involved 49 randomly selected twelfth-grade science students. Results revealed a strong negative correlation between mental workload on students' academic performance (- 0.647). Students’ mental workload was categorized as moderate with indicators of work performance and mental work effort has an average of “considerable effort” (98.16 and 91.43). Academic performance was also in the moderate category (92.63). These findings highlight the importance of managing academic demands through effective learning strategies and a supportive school environment to reduce mental workload and optimize students’ academic performance, especially in boarding school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of digital-based DIAGRAM SMART MATH on students' interest and learning outcomes in the material of data and diagrams. The type of research used is pre-experimental with a quantitative approach. The research design employs a one-group pretest-posttest. The population in this study consists of all seventh-grade students at SMP Mujahidin Surabaya. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, with a total sample of 25 students, comprising 9 males and 16 females. Data collection techniques in this study used pretests, posttests, and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were the One Sample T Test and N-gain. The results of the study indicate that the influence of digital-based DIAGRAM SMART MATH on the material of data and diagrams has a significant effect on students' interest and learning outcomes. This is evident from the analysis of the questionnaire used to measure students' interest, which yielded an average of 86%, falling into the very high criteria. Furthermore, the N-gain analysis results obtained a value of 0.7409, which is categorized as high. Additionally, based on the One Sample T Test analysis, the significance value obtained was 0.000 < P-value 0.05; thus, is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of digital-based DIAGRAM SMART MATH on students' interest and learning outcomes in the material of data and diagrams.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate ICT-based interactive PowerPoint media focused on the topic of types of waste and waste management for use in primary school learning. The purpose of the development was to provide teachers with effective instructional tools and to foster student engagement and understanding of environmental science content. The development process followed the 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The Define stage included a needs analysis through classroom observation and media usage evaluation. During the Design and Develop stages, an interactive PowerPoint was created, incorporating text, audio, video, and interactive quizzes. Expert validation was conducted involving four experts: a subject matter expert, instructional design expert, media communication expert, and an end-user (classroom teacher). Validation results indicated that the media was highly valid, with expert scores ranging from 86.67% to 90%. Student responses were also positive, with a satisfaction score of 86.66%, demonstrating high levels of interest and motivation during the learning process. The media successfully delivered educational content on classifying and managing waste in a visually appealing and accessible manner, allowing students to engage in independent learning with embedded navigation instructions. In conclusion, the developed ICT-based interactive PowerPoint media is considered valid and effective for elementary education and is recommended for broader classroom implementation to enhance environmental literacy and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This qualitative study aims to find out and describe in detail the importance of the role of YouTube media as a learning material and analyze the perspective of Indonesian Language teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Doloksanggul on the use of YouTube to improve their students’ skills in writing expository texts. This study can theoretically contribute to the development of theories in the fields of education, teaching, or humanities that are relevant and practically useful as a reference for future research with similar topics and to improve public understanding of the benefits of YouTube for expository text writing skills. The main data were obtained from the structured face-to- face interview with five respondents. By applying thematic analysis, the transcribed interview results were arranged and categorized based on relevant themes. The results show that YouTube plays an important role because it can be perceived as an interesting, effective, and creative media, however, teachers must be proactive in this regard. Thisstudy also suggests that the use of YouTube as a learning material for writing expository texts is considered effective because students are encouraged to argue, use more vocabulary, write texts systematically and are motivated. The results of the data analysis show that the obstacles often encountered are problems with the Internet network,school facilities, and distractions.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is a strategic approach to meet the diverse needs, interests, and learning abilities of students. However, its implementation still faces various challenges. This study regularly examines the use of technology in supporting differentiated learning and analyzes the barriers to its implementation. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review of 15 articles indexed by SINTA, Scopus, or Semantic Scholar in the last five years, through the stages of identification, selection, quality assessment, and descriptive-analytical data synthesis. The results of the study show that the integration of technology, such as digital media, LMS, WebQuest, animated videos, and DVGs, is effective in facilitating the diverse learning needs of students. Technology supports teachers in designing adaptive learning, increasing motivation and learning outcomes, and facilitating the assessment and feedback process. However, challenges in the form of limited infrastructure, digital literacy, and teacher readiness are still major obstacles. Therefore, continuous training and strengthening of supporting facilities are needed so that the implementation of technology-based differentiated learning can run optimally and effectively. The study recommends the development of a more adaptive technology integration model.

Abstract

Tujuan dari diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis soal yang termasuk miskonsepsi dengan materi atom, ion, dan molekul menggunakan instrumen three-tier dengan jumlah 25 soal. Keuntungan dari penggunaan instrumen soal three tier yaitu saat menjawab soal peserta didik dapat dikategorikan manakan peserta didik yang tergolong miskonsepsi, paham konsep, tidak paham konsep, dan hanya menebak saja. Selain itu guru juga dapat mengetahui soal manakan yang perlu adanya penekanan materi lebih lanjut. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP 2 Jekulo pada kelas 8 dengan jumlah siswa yang mengerjakan soal adalah 31 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Jumlah jawaban keseluruhan ada 775 jawaban terdapat 245 dengan persentase 31,61% dikategorikan miskonsepsi, 282 jawaban dengan persentase 36,39% dikategorikan tidak paham konsep, berjumlah 191 jawaban dengan persentase 24,65% dikategorikan paham konsep, dan 57 jawaban dengan persentase 7,35% dikategorikan hanya menebak. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa miskonsepsi pada peserta didik bisa saja terjadi karena kesalahan saat memahami konsep yang sebenarnya. Kebanyakan peserta didik menjawab salah pada bagian pertanyaan dan juga alasannya tetapi mereka menjawabnya dengan penuh keyakinan. Mereka mengalami kesalahpahaman konsep dalam menerima materi terkait. Miskonsepsi pada siswa kebanyakan terjadi pada materi menentukan proton, elektron, dan neutron.

Abstract

Abstract: Twenty-first-century education requires educational institutions to focus not only on academic achievement but also on character development and the enhancement of students' digital literacy. This study aims to analyze the role of strategic management in systematically and sustainably integrating these two crucial aspects within the environment of State Vocational High School 1 Kapuas Murung. The author employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that strategic management at the school is implemented through vision-based program planning, the synergistic execution of character and digital learning activities, and periodic program evaluation. These strategies foster a school culture that supports the development of students who are not only technically proficient but also possess integrity, digital ethics, and critical thinking skills. This study recommends strengthening school managerial capacities in formulating and implementing integrated policies on character education and digital literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan pengetahuan pancasila sila ke 1 untuk meningkatkan nilai agama dan moral di kelas B TK PGRI Pronojiwo. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dalam penelitian ini diharapkan menjadikan peneliti mampu menggambarkan secara lebih mendalam mengenai penerapan Pancasila Sila 1 untuk meningkatkan nilai agama dan moral anak kelompok B TK PGRI Pronojiwo secara nyata dengan tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun tahap pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi validitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Pancasila sila Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa pada anak kelompok B TK PGRI Pronojiwo disesuaikan dengan kompetensi nilai agama dan moral yang tercantum pada Permendikbud nomor 137 tahun 2014. Untuk menerapkan sila Pancasila Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa dalam meningkatkan nilai agama dan moral pada anak kelompok B TK PGRI Pronojiwo beberapa metode yang dilakukan oleh guru diantaranya yaitu metode bermain sains, pembiasaan, mendogeng, nasehat dan keteladanan. Kata Kunci : Agama, Moral, Pancasila, Sila 1.
