PENGGUNAAN MODEL PAIRING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI, AKTIVITAS, DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR PADA MATERI GEOMETRI Herti Prastitasari; Jumadi Jumadi; Erma Marhamah; Ratna Purwanti; Raihanah Sari

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran, motivasii belajar siswa, dan hasil belajar melalui penggunaan model PAIRING pada pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Desain penelitian ini berupa penelitian Tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SDN Amparaya 2 selama dua siklus dalam empat kali pertemuan. Hasil aktivitas guru menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada siklus satu dan siklus dua dengan perolehan skor 23 sampai dengan skor 30 dengan kriteria sangat baik, hasil aktivitas siswa secara klasikal pada siklus satu dan siklus dua meningkat dari 60% menjadi 100%, hasil motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus satu dan siklus dua meningkat dari 77% menjadi 93% dengan kriteria motivasi belajar tinggi, dan hasil belajar materi geometry siswa pada siklus 1 dan siklus 2 meningkat dari 65% menjadi 88% dengan kriteria tuntas. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dipergunakan dalam proses pembelajaran agar terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas, motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar pada materi geometry.

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi dan aktivitas siswa serta hasil perkembangan bahasa inggris anak dengan menggunakan Gelpitas, karena pentingnya Bahasa Inggris untuk anak usia dini di masa emas agar dapat bersaing di dunia global ketika mereka beranjak dewasa nanti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam empat pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi anak meningkat dan aktivitas anak secara klasikal dengan kategori sangat aktif. Hasil kemampuan anak mencapai ketuntasan klasikal dengan berkembang sangat baik dan telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui Gelpitas (gerak dan lagu, model picture and picture, model Talking Stick) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam perkembangan bahasa (Bahasa Inggris) pada anak Kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak. GELPITAS model (gerak lagu, picture picture, talking stick) to improve development English early childhood AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe student motivation and activities, the results of students' English development using Gelpitas, because of the importance of English for early childhood in the golden age to be able to compete in the global world when they grow up later. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of research that is Classroom Action Research (CAR) in four meetings. The result shows that children motivation increases and the classical activities of children with a very active category. The results of children's ability to achieve classical completeness by developing very well and have met the indicators of success. It can be concluded that through Gelpitas (motion and song, picture and picture model, Talking Stick model) can improve children's ability in language development (English) in Group B Kindergarten children.

Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kepala sekolah dalam menulis Best Practice. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Peserta pengabdian adalah kepala sekolah TK di lingkungan PKG Banjarmasin Tengah yang berjumlah 37 peserta. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan pada bulan November tahun 2020 selama dua hari. Kegiatan pelatihan berjalan lancar, peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang penulisan Best practice mengenai orisinalitas, inovatif, elaborative, inspiratif, empirik dan aplikatif. Hasil Best practice dapat direflikasi, dimanfaatkan dan atau dikembangkan baik di sekolah sendiri maupun di sekolah lain. Kegiatan pengabdian seperti ini dapat dilakukan secara rutin baik di gugus yang sama maupun di gugus yang berbeda dengan sasaran Kepala sekolah yang benar-benar membutuhkan pelatihan penulisan Best Practice. The purpose of the workshop activities is to increase the principal's knowledge in writing Best Practice. The methods used in this workshop include lectures, question and answer and discussion. The community service participants were the kindergarten headmaster in the PKG Banjarmasin Tengah, totalling 37 participants. This community service activity was carried out in November 2020 for two days. The workshop activities run smoothly, and participants get knowledge about writing best practices regarding originality, innovation, elaborative, inspirational, empirical and applicative. Best practice results can be replicated, utilized, or developed in their schools and other schools. Community service activities like this can be carried out routinely in the same cluster or different clusters with the target of the principal who needs a best-practice writing workshop.

The golden age is a sensitive period that is very important for children to develop all aspects of development such as language, one of which is English so they can compete in the global world while growing up. Introducing activity must be carried out with a learning model that is and are concrete so that children can understand what is meant for example the picture and picture model learning. This study aims to describe how the contribution of the application of picture and picture model in introducing English vocabulary (number) at early childhood to increase children's motivation. The research approach used is qualitative with the type of case study (case study). Data collection using in-depth interview, observation and documentation. The result showed that the application of picture and picture model in introducing English vocabulary (number) contribute to the improvement of children's motivation such as children's attention during activity (attention), children's interest in English (interest), trust the child's self in knowing English vocabulary (confidence) and the satisfaction with fun learning (satisfaction). This research can be used as input for the teacher to create English learning that can increase children's motivation in class.

Early childhood is the first foundation for development, one of the children development such as language skill, especially in English. With the aim that children can compete in the global world when they grow up. However, the problem that occurs in the field, the English language is rarely taught as an introduction to their language skill, due to the lack of knowledge of English learning methods in the ability to speak right for children. However, there is one kindergarten that uses song and motion method to introduce English vocabulary. This study aims to explore the description of Song and motion as a method in introducing vocabulary (number and colour) in English at one of the kindergartens in central Banjarmasin. The researcher applied a descriptive qualitative design to explore Song and motion method to introduce vocabulary in English (number and colour). This study involved 15 children in Group B. The finding from this study revealed that the song and motion method is very beneficial for children English vocabulary, children can remember the vocabulary about number and colour in English and also children happily singing while moving. This study might be used as an input for a teacher to create learning English in the classroom.

This research is motivated by the low cognitive activity of children in recognizing number symbols. This is caused by one-way learning, monotonous and uninteresting. The purpose of this study was to describe cognitive aspects of the ability to recognize number symbols using the Talking stick model and the Flannel Board media at the PERTIWI Anjir Pasar TK Children. The research used a qualitative approach and the type of classroom action research with research subjects 4 boys and 5 girls group B TK PERTIWI Anjir Pasar. The study was carried out in 4 meetings with the result showing that applying the combination of the Talking stick model and the Flannel Board media can increase teacher activity up to 97%, children's activities reach 100% and children's cognitive development result reach 100%. The result of this study can be used as an alternative in the selection of model in developing children's cognitive abilities. Keywords: Cognitive, Numbers, Talking Stick, Flannel Board

Pengajar perlu mengubah media pembelajaran di dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan ICT (Information and Communication of Technology) untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi di dalam proses pembelajaran, salah satunya yaitu Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Untuk AUD. Di Indonesia, belajar bahasa asing adalah proses yang terintegrasi. Akan tetapi, permasalahan yang terjadi adalah banyak siswa menganggap Bahasa Inggris sulit untuk dipelajari, terutama belajar di luar jam sekolah. Sehingga, dengan penggunaan media berbasis ICT dapat mengurangi pemikiran secara bertahap tentang sulitnya Bahasa Inggris. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan media berbasis ICT baik komputer atau perangkat seluler dalam meningkatkan keterampilan Bahasa Inggris di proses pembelajaran Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Untuk AUD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran (mixed method) dengan subyek 35 siswa yang dijadikan sampel di Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris untuk AUD kelas VI A tahun 2019/2020, PG PAUD FKIP ULM. Data akan dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara serta observasi yang dilakukan di kelas oleh dua penilai yang berbeda untuk menghindari bias. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa memiliki tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan ICT (aplikasi MALL) di dalam pembelajaran Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Untuk AUD. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris untuk AUD dengan menggunakan ICT.Kata Kunci : ICT, Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris

In the family environment, parents play an important role in children development. Meanwhile at schools, teachers’ role is also vital in strengthening children’s character. The problem that should be addressed is that parents should cooperate with teachers in instilling good values, such as independence, in children. Independence prevents children from being dependent on others and the most important thing is cultivating children’s courage and motivation to continue exploring new knowledge. Independence encourages children to learn about behavioral choices and risks that must be accounted for. The purpose of this study was to describe the guidance of parents and teachers in instilling children's independence. This research was conducted using the qualitative method with a descriptive research approach. The research location was in At-Tibyan Kindergarten. The data were collected using observations, documentation, and interviews with the principal, teachers, parents, and children in group B. The results of the study found that parental guidance in instilling children's independence was done by providing children with good examples, giving choices to children, guiding children in solving problems, giving sincere praises to children, providing support to children, and developing good communication with them. Meanwhile, the teacher's guidance was conducted through habituation and by establishing harmonious relationships with children, providing a good understanding to children, providing clear information to children, giving advice to children, and assisting them in problem-solving. This research can be used as input in instilling children's independence through guidance at home and school.

Traditional games are games that provide a special color of culture as well as the identity or characteristic of an area that needs to be maintained that aims to stimulate early childhood especially about the recognition of numbers in English.The purpose of this stud ratna.purwanti@ulm.ac.idy was to describe traditional games as a medium in learning English for early childhood. This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection methods are interviews, observation and documentation. The research subjects were the principal and class teacher. The data analysis technique used triangulation method (observation, interview and documentation study). The results showed that learning English through traditional games from South Kalimantan (Badaku) in TK Matahariku can (1) increase children's English vocabulary in the form of numbers reach category very active or BSB with 100% and (2) can stimulate children's intelligence in recognizing numbers category very active or BSB with 95%. The implications of using traditional games as a medium for learning English for early childhood provide convenience for teachers and children in the classroom.

Parents become one of the important roles in the family environment in the strengthening of character. The thing that needs to be given special attention in strengthening this character is parental guidance in order to facilitate the potential of the child. Parents must work together to have knowledge and experience about instilling good values in children such as independence. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. Group B parents were the population and samples in this study. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire with a data analysis technique using percentage calculations. The results of the study provide a positive understanding of children categorized as very good, educate children accustomed to be neatly categorized as good, provide games that can form children's independence categorized as very good, get children used to behaving in accordance with good manners and motivate children not to be lazy to be categorized as good. These five aspects of the study greatly affect the independence of children at home.
